$70,000 Shelby Mustang Goes Off Roading...Why?

the exhaust is resting really hard on it so we got a call for a Mustang Shelby that is stuck in the sand out in Sand Hollow so we're heading out there to get it we got the lovely Jamie today it's about nine o'clock at night and it's cooled off a little bit it's only a hundred degrees instead of like 112. it's beautiful out there so I'm pretty sure we're gonna be able to get them out but you can come with us to see if I'm right how's it going I'm not sure exactly what happened he sent me a picture and it looks like he's just a little bit off the road like not far at all but Mustangs even Shelby Mustangs don't do very good in the sand so it makes sense that he's having a little bit of trouble let's go get him he's on the other side of the lake [Music] not good [Music] it might be better just to go across to the other side [Music] I like the lights oh yeah [Music] I think thinking going forward it's pretty deep [Music] can we move that rock I don't know [Music] it's permanent [Music] I think so this is a little trick I like to do it's rope down nice and low up on the on the front bumper of this car [Music] now we're just looking for something good to hook onto because people will say why don't you use the toe eye why don't you use the shipping Hook is there anything why don't you use the thing it's in the trunk there's there's not one there is not one you want to shine that light right in here see where I'm digging I want to see what's in here oh yeah [Music] that's really high [Music] that's the one we want right down there boy that's hot [Music] we're gonna test the limits of this stuff not really though [Music] okay Jamie this does not need a jerk it doesn't need a pop doesn't need anything it also doesn't need you to creep up on the Rope you can just roll up on the road okay where's that I'm going to though straight across there see it is that the gravel yeah kind of Swing this way swing a little bit wide and the road it's right over there all good night you know what I noticed about that Shelby what's that it had a hurt yeah we pull a lot of rental cars out of the sand out here kind of a never-ending Supply and we're just here it's cast out reel em in cast out reel them in a little bit tricky though they don't have recovery points and they're usually like that they're buried down in the sand we got him all right we were headed out of here and we just drove past this truck and trailer that are stuck in the sand so we're gonna pull them out too that way we know it won't fall off so here's the camera woman she's gonna be filming this is on his way to the Onyx challenge up in Moab he's driving the Ram charger and it broke down we better go save him so dude we're in the rollback yeah it's got AC yeah we're heading on up there let's I'm going but I have this for GPS found that's right [Music] oh there it is look he did that with rattle can I don't I think oh wait I think he get a sprayer oh man job looks good well I got it started oh we were cruising down the road and it just starts cutting out I'm like okay there's an accident coming up we'll pull over and see what's going on well hit the exit and just died when we roll it here oh man and it won't start and then messing with everything the fuel pump actually sounds terrible but I've cracked some fittings I'm like I still have pressure and then I pulled the air filter off I'm like it's not squirting any fuel though I took off one of the lines and filled up a water bottle sprayed it down in and got it started about I don't know five five ten minutes ago you shut it off or start back up I don't I don't want to find out and I've been running the AC so I don't cook all right yeah let's get this roll back unload and we'll drive her up on it is so pretty do you like it yeah thanks I built it out of metal did you see the inside looks good wow [Music] that's not gonna hit anything I think you'd set it on the other side of it I like your style we'll go with that better safe than sorry yeah that bad pot oh those these little guys in the sun they're getting a little toasted foreign all right we're all loaded up we got Rudy in the Ram charger look at this thing I think he's calling it The Rad charger it is look right here the brand charger we are over at Rudy's compound pretty valve covers dude look at this thing it's a unit okay this is my favorite thing as a kid to get a ride on the back of the rollback down while Hilton and of course it fires up now we get here and it's running just fine all right we'll see you later thanks for the ride fellas
