so if many people being exposed to the classic Wow beta for the first time people that didn't play back in the day are being exposed to the completely different gameplay of classic Wow classic Wow was a very different game and it's quite easy to make some big mistakes so here are seven mistakes new players make in classic Wow starting off the list at number seven is taking on too much for first thing a lot of people that were used to playing battle for Azeroth will notice is that in classic Wow mobs are quite a bit harder going up to a random pack of Moloch's will surely get you killed in this game you really do need to take things slowly otherwise you will very quickly be killed mobs federal rounds go level are quite a decent challenge and for many classes fighting these mobs will definitely give you a bit of a challenge some classes are easier to level than others and you can get away with a faster pace of killing mobs and on the other hand some classes are very hard when it comes to leveling for example the warrior in classic Wow is definitely a slow level you'll need to take your time in between fighting each target by eating pretty much every two mobs rings are a lot more slow and methodical and classic Wow so you definitely need to keep this in mind number six on this list is not planning flight points so one of the biggest challenges in World of Warcraft classic is for long distances you have to travel from going from an objective to another objective before level 40 you basically have no way of increasing your movement speed the owned your class abilities and some very niche items so pre-planning your leveling route and getting flight points in advance is going to vastly increase the speed at which you can level something that comes into mind is that if you're playing a human and you're leveling and Elwynn forest at some points you will go to the eastern part of Elwynn forest which is very close to red Ridge so when you are this close to red Ridge you may as well go into the zone and pick up the flight point because you will definitely return to red Ridge at around level 15 to level 20 as you can imagine if you get this flight point in advance you can very easily return here using a Griffon in later levels whereas if you had to walk from Stormwind to red Ridge it will take you a good 15 minutes there are many examples of this but a general rule of is that if you're near to a flight point you definitely should take it in advance you don't want a quest telling you to go somewhere and then realizing that there's no shortcut to get there and you have to walk there over a long period of time number five on this list is not grinding so in battle for as Worf and recent additions of World of Warcraft you guys may have played grinding is really not a thing at least not for leveling up however in classic well the quests but you can get a very few and far between in fact you will out level ozone and finish all the quests quite often so inevitably at some points you will need to do some grinding on your classic Wow character you don't want to be in a situation where you're in a zone but you have no business of being in because your level is too low by occasionally grinding some levels you will not have this issue not only that but it's also kind of debatable as to whether or not grinding is faster than levelling via questing grinding mobs is definitely not efficient in b.fa however in classic Wow this is a very good option for leveling up not only that but if you're grinding you will actually make more money the money value can make by grinding is food mob drops I can be used in professions and various pieces of equipment veg warp grinding gives you a lot more goal to fan questing especially if you have the right targets if you guys know a low-level way to farm gold you can kill two birds in one stone by getting good XP and good gold at the same time and in classic Wow you will need as much gold as possible from getting your mounts at level 40 cloth spells and abilities equipments professions epic mount there was a lot of stuff that you need gold for in classic Wow so you may as well start farming the gold early number four in this list is too many dungeons so guys if we're talking about ways to level up in classic Wow some people may first go to the idea of going into dungeons this is how it works in BFA if you want to level up pretty quickly going into the random dungeon finder and grouping up with some people is a pretty good bet you can get some very good experience from dungeons in BFA however this is not really the case in classic Wow of course you do get some experience for mobile spirits and various quests but take you to dungeons however this is not the fastest way to level up in classic Wow I think a lot of people are going to make them stake of doing dungeons too much if you want to get to level 60 as fast as possible this is not the best way to do it you should definitely do dungeons every now and then and if you really enjoy playing dungeons you should just do it anyway but don't be under the assumption that going into dungeons is the fastest way to level up for mobile experience spread across five people and the limited amount of quests make its North ideal that being said if you are a gear depends on the class like a warrior you can make a pretty good argument that you need the gear from dungeons to level up efficiently when you buy yourself an arms warrior that is leveling up is only as good as the weapon it's using so keeping your weapon up-to-date by going into dungeons and getting drops from that might be a pretty good strategy but rap being said playing in dungeons is really fun it's obviously a lot more fun than just grinding warps over and over again however it is not as efficient and I think that is a mistake that a lot of people will make and another thing is that before you go into a dungeon you need to make sure that you have the quests relevant to that dungeon in PFA you automatically give them the quests for the dungeon at the start of the entrance this is not how it works in classic Wow if you want the quests relevant to a dungeon you have to go all over the world to find them so you need to do a little bit of research and planning before you go into a dungeon to make sure you make for most alphabet number three on this list is not using mages so in classic Wow mages can have a lot of utility to other players they can provide you so much good stuff when people think of mages in classic Wow the first thing they think of is someone that provides water this is kind of an unfortunate stereotype for the majors they can obviously do a lot more than just making water for a raid or a guild but it's undeniable that the fact that they can conjure water and food at any given time is kind of a big deal in a game where money is so tight being able to conjure free food and water is a really big advantage unfortunately they can trade this conjured food and water to other players so if you ever see a mage try asking for some food and water if you think about how much money you spend on food and water from the NPC vendors it can add up quite a lot over a long period of time and over advantage about mages have is that they can teleport people to other places using their portal ability you can actually go to any of the capital cities on your faction so what a lot of people in classic well do is that they pay these mages are small fee so but they can get ported to a capital city this is the fastest way to travel in classic Wow and there's going to be a lot of mages but are willing to do it for gold waiting for a boat or a Zeppelin is a really long ordeal and many people would just rather pay a mage to port from somewhere and save them a lot of time if you want to go to another point find a nearby mage and pay them a gold and they will probably take you up on that offer number two on this list is spending too much becoming rich is two parts one part is how much money you make and the other part is how much money you save in classic Wow money is a big deal and it's pretty hard to come by the facts right you need to spend money on getting new spells is kind of a big deal in BFA you're automatically given new spells and you don't have to spend a single corporal on earth in classic Wow they cost money and quite a lot of money when you are near the level cap you'll probably be spending around 4 gold per spell to learn that is kind of a law and considering how many spells though are in the game you will be spending a lot of money on spells in classic Wow so a thing that a lot of experienced classic wow players do is that they only spend gold on spells and abilities that they really need not all spells and classic Wow are equal there are some spells and abilities that you will use all the time and there are some spells but a very niche and not very useful so you can save a lot of money by only buying the spells where you really need to level up everything else is not that necessary another thing is to spend your talent points well to respec in classic Wow cost you quite a lot of money every time you want to reset your talents it will cause one gold and then it doubles up each time you learn new talents over time this amount of money will get really high and respecting in classic Wow is quite expensive so make sure you look at a leveling guide for your class and get four necessary talents in the leveling process and classic well you get four right talents to level up as quickly as possible something that comes into mind is the spirit tap talent that priests have this talent is absolutely crucial to leveling up as a east wife alta you level up pretty much twice as slow because it regenerates your mana every time you kill an enemy this is absolutely crucial to have for any priest that is in the leveling process each class has its own ideal leveling spec so make sure you plan for that in the leveling process so number one on this list is not having a hustle in classic Wow you're constantly trying to get more money in bf a gold can't take you that far they give that you can buy and for consumables you need really do not cost that much money in classic well that is not the case you constantly need to be thinking about how to make gold in the game whether that be few professions a secret farming sport or a cool little trick for only your class can do whatever the case you need to find a way to make money in the game you don't want to be the guy about his level 40 and doesn't have enough money for amount and it doesn't stop there after level 40 you need to start saving up for pre-raid best in slot gear consumables for raids and an epic mount that cost a thousand gold there's so much stuff that you need to buy with gold in this game so having a gold farming method is extremely important and of course when
