is with us I enjoy the personal time with him I enjoy his preaching and I look forward to coming to church not only when brother kid is here but every church service but I with brother kid here I just have a little bit more of enthusiasm I think an excitement about coming and that's the reason why you showed up tonight as well so I'm glad you're here let's have a word of Prayer with each other Lord thank you that we can come together again we need your help and what a great service we had last night and so I pray once again that tonight's service will be one that we will remember something that will help us something that will change us and so we prayed that you'll help brother Kidd and the singing the fellowship everything that it'll just prepare our hearts for what you have for us in a few minutes well thank you for it in Jesus name amen you can be seated and I know we have some of you that are back from Muncie so we're glad that you all are here and celina so we're glad that you all are here miss Rosie good to see you tonight so we're glad you are here and if you aren't we're if your church wasn't recognized last night we usually have people go by the visitor center and be in problem giving and so anything comes in the night will be put to the offering that will go to brother kid for our people no but for those of you visiting sometimes people want to be a blessing to a man and we never skim off the top we just don't do that to me that is designated sacred money and so anything that comes into your offering goes to brother kid and that's exactly right all of that and so you give as the Lord wants you to do so brother hainsley some prayer for the offering let's pray Almighty God their Heavenly Father their precious Lord Jesus we do thank you for this opportunity to come to the house to worship thee in truth in his spirit or we pray for your life Holy Spirit upon brother Kidd as he breaks the word to us and Lord knowing our hearts with I Holy Spirit that we might receive the truth and what might go forth and spread the gospel but we pray that each one hears been washed in the blood and Nord we pray that you put put the blood around this building and Lord to keep out the evil spirits or things would prevent people to receive your truth Lord we thank you now for the opportunity to give and Lord we pray that you might multiply it and use it for your glory verse with Pilate mates only rekindled with [Music] the more I'm around brother kid the more I love him friendships are cultivated they're built and we've loved brother kid for many years I don't know how many years we've been having him come now but a few three years ago God just really worked in a unique way brother blank we were talking about it last night one of your then what nice son-in-law now but back then wasn't a son-in-law and so they had a young man from their church got saved and it was a unique unique time extended the meeting and brother kid was willing to do that and and it was just a great time so his messages are ones that you remember not only are they ones that you remember in his preaching but I also remember the one-on-one time that I have to be with him and so as a preacher I have that privilege of being able to be host to our guest speakers and I cherished that time as well not only does he help you in the preaching but he helps this preacher in private I said last night he is my friend I know that I have called him multiple times through the years and some of the kid what do we do now and his advice his counsel has always been right on target and right for us and I know he prays for us I pray for him our family loves him dearly and we're glad he is with us again so brother kid thank you for coming and and for your friendship and your love and so after our special we'll have you come preach to us again and Jake will have you come sing for us and I love this guy he and came to us in the past year transferred into here to G I'm from Ohio and what a wonderful gift we got in Jake and so Jane's gonna sing for us and then we'll have brother kid that will preach to us say men love you Jake hey flight without an airplane transportation on silver wings and I hope will be a blessing to you in the book of Exodus chapter number 34 I'd like to begin reading in verse number 28 and he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights this is Moses now watch this he didn't either eat bread or drink water for forty days and forty nights that's how I know Moses was not a Baptist that ain't happening somebody said to me how long ago said how come all you guys are fat and I got to thinking about that if you look at pictures before you were saved and look at you now you've picked up a little now here's the reason why we're fat let me illustrate everything else we did before we were saved was wrong and we had to quit it the only thing we have left to do that's legal is eat and so Moses goes for 40 days and 40 nights without water the Bible said and he wrote upon the tablets the word of the covenant the ten commandments and it came to pass when Moses came down from Mount Sinai were the two tablets of the testimony in Moses his hand when he come down from the Mount watch this Moses risks not he didn't even know it that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him while he talked with God and when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses behold the skin of his face shown they were afraid to come nigh him and Moses called under them and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him and Moses talked with them and afterward all the children of Israel came nigh and he gave them a commandment and all that the Lord had spoken to him on the Mount and until Moses had gone speaking with him in verse 33 with them he would put a veil over his face he had been with God so clearly that his face was so bright that he literally had to put a veil over before he could talk with man but when Moses in verse 34 went in before the Lord and spake with him he took the veil off until he came out and he came out and he spake unto the children of Israel which he was commanded and the children of Israel saw the face of Moses that his skin Moses face shone and Moses put the veil upon his face again until he went in to speak with him now one asked your question here's Moses he has spent time with God on a mountain he was so in the presence of God that's what your Bible said the reflection of God was so real on him that his face literally lit up like a light and it scared the people of Israel they said man we're freaking out if you're gonna talk to us put a veil over your face can you imagine being so close to God that people recognize it now here's my question to you somewhere after chapter number 34 Moses didn't have to wear the veil anymore so somewhere down the road even though he had been in the presence of God Moses lost that glow and the veil was no longer needed and the Bible never says that he ever wore it again once he quit wearing it the first time I want to preach tonight on the subject of where did your glow go when is the last time that you have been so in the presence of God that you had that cutting manifestation about you that you didn't have to have it on your t-shirt and you didn't have to have it on your cap and you didn't have to have fireworks going off behind your shoulders but just the fact that you had been with God to the point where other people recognized you had God on you have you ever seen a glow of God on people I've been in places were the last thing they needed to tell me was they were a Christian I knew when I looked at them they were a Christian they didn't have to say a word pass out a tract or have a word of Prayer I can honestly see God you people know what I'm talking about don't you you've seen people before that before he ever knew their name you knew they had been with God and they had God on them when is the last time you have been in such presence of God that people knew there was something different about you did you know it is possible for a nation that have glow about it you remember when Israel was coming out of captivity the Bible said God put a cloud between Israel and the Egyptians as they pursued them and to the Egyptians it was a cloud of darkness but the same cloud was a cloud of light it was a glow to the children of Israel it's possible for a nation to be close enough to God that other nations can see a glow about them that used to be so in this country by the way but what's the messed up man we got a generation that eats pie pods and they don't know if they're a boy or a girl or a transgender or no gender let's go we got kids they'd only know what bathroom they're supposed to go to somewhere down the road this nation has lost the glow of God did you know it's possible for incharge to have the glow of God you could even go back to the Old Testament Tabernacle God told the priests that candlestick made out of solid gold you keep it full of oil and never let it go out so no matter what time day or night when people pass by the church they saw the glow of the oil which is the presence of the Holy Ghost God said I want my church lit up with my presence and my power when you read Revelation chapter 2 and 3 and John is dealing with the seven churches one thing all seven of them had in common they all had a candlestick because it is possible for a church to have a glow that makes it above what we call average wouldn't it be good to go to a church that when you walked in you could just feel God when you went inside the door preachers would it be good not to have to pump and brine people every service to get them where they should be before they ever left their house would it be good if people came in with Thanksgiving and praise and excitement and wonder about the things of God it is possible I'm saying to you for a church to have the glow of God on it just like it is a nation a country but it's possible for a Christian to have the glow of God it's biblical in the New Testament I mentioned this one time in a sermon when I was preaching before and a theologian came to me and said you're taking Old Testament doctrine and applying it to the church okay let's go to the New Testament did not Jesus say that we are the light of the world isn't it Jesus that said you don't light a candle and put it under a bushel but you put it up you put the light up what's the light manifesting it's manifesting the glow of God in the child of God you remember when Stephen got stoned the first and probably only Holy Ghost field Deacon that ever lived wasn't at six who felt the kickback there and they killed him by the way and the Bible said when they were stoning him this what's your Bible said his face lit up like the face of an angel what's the last time somebody's come up to you and said you're a Christian aren't you well how do you know I'm a Christian I haven't said that I can tell by the glow that's on you there ought to be something about us our identity ought to magnify who we are where we came from you know the older a baby gets the more it emulates and simulates its parents it's impossible to stop it now when they first get more and I think all babies are messed up man they're cross sided they're all headed they don't have a tooth in their head and they'll say oh it looks just like papaw and I don't think it papaw is one ugly sucker if that looks like Papa I mean all newborn babies they're just different let me just leave it there but the more they grow and the more they're fed the more they start emulating the family that they're out of I didn't say to my boys when they were babies you're gonna have a nose like your dad whether you like it or not you little punk it was automatically because I'm their father and they emulate their birth am i preaching right now y'all stay with me I got problems with people that say they've been born-again and you try to feed them the milk of the word of God but they never emulate Christ and God in their life there's something wrong with that birth if you really got born again you may not look like there's a difference when it first happens but the more you're fed and the more you grow you ought to be taking on the emulation of your family you ought to start looking like Christ you ought to start walking like Christ you ought to start thinking like Christ you ought to start wanting to be more like Jesus because you got in the family have you ever had the glow of God on you now here's the problem the same reason why Moses lost that that cutting edge is the same problems that we have to face every day that makes us lose it too I wish I could tell you it was a one-time thing that you just go with God one time you get filled up on the mountain and you glow the rest of your life but it's not that way because when you come down off that mountain top experience as Moses did you're gonna have stuff pulling on you that's going to do everything it possibly can to try to discourage you from being the light that God wants you to be in your life let me show you three things that discourage Moses and I'm leaving number one he had problems with his flesh see just because you've been with God and get filled with the Holy Ghost and you get the glow of God on you doesn't mean that you don't still have problems in the flesh in Exodus chapter number 17 when Moses brought the children of Israel across the Red Sea and they got born again and they got out of bondage type of being saved and being set free the first thing they did was run into a battle and they were fighting somebody they'd never fought before they fought in Malak they had never fought in my leg before because they'd never been set free before you know whoever liked was he was the grandson of Esau Esau is the one that could care less about spiritual things but he sold it all out the polices flashed for a bowl of beans you remember the story so what the Bible is illustrating to us is when you get saved and you're trying to follow Christ you're going to be facing battles that you've never fought before so I said man I've got more problem since I got saved than I did before I got saved well that's a good indication that you got saved because before you were born again you were walking parallel with the devil now that you got saved and you repented and you turned around the altar becoming in conflict with the adversary am I making you all have battles so here's the thing you get in a good service you get in a prayer meeting you get somewhere to camp meeting you get with God you get this glowing manifestation about God and did you wake up and realize you gotta fight you again there's nothing spiritual about you or me the only thing good about us is what God put in us in the person of the Holy Ghost when he saved us but we are still living in a body that is weak and wicked and wretched and vile and anti God and it lusts after the things of the world there is a battle that goes on inside every one of us every day the book of Galatians says the spirit wars against the flesh there is part of me that loves God and wants to serve the Lord there is part of me that wants to go astray and fulfill the lust of this world that is the battle that's your face and if you're not careful the flesh will wear you out you remember when Moses lifted his hands as long as his hands were up Israel prevailed over Emelec but he got weary in the battle and his arms begin to tremble and shake and come down and when he got tired and weary all of a sudden a Malak begin to prevail again and the very thing that Moses thought he had victory over all of a sudden was manifesting itself with power and domination again because he gets weary ladies and gentlemen be not weary in well-doing it is a daily battle that you got to serve God and make a decision every day that you're going to walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh it's not a one-time battle it is an everyday battle and it'll never go away till you die or until Jesus comes and gets us again oh yeah I know I'm preaching that I know I'm preaching to me problems in the flesh fighting stuff that constantly pulls us away from God to keep us from being consistent and steadfast jesus said this to his own hand-picked disciples the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak and may I warn you about something I feel like God wants me to say this the very area you think you're strong in maybe the very area the devil used to get you to fall in I was thinking about this today preacher see if I'm Ryan was not Moses the meekest man in the Bible you know what that meant that mean he went the extra mile he was a patient guy he was long-suffering but it was that same Moses I thought he had his temper under control that smoked the rock when he was supposed to speak to it was it not Peter that stood up said lord I hear here's the way it is everybody else may deny you but you mark this down take it to the bank I'll follow you till you die and when it came down to it and they asked him in the judgment Hall who he was he not only denied Jesus but he tossed which doesn't shock me being a Baptist in the least oh you think you got an area of life down where the devil can't get you he that standeth take heed lest he fall you remember when David cut the head off Goliath and he took Goliath bloody head took his bloody head and was walking through the cobblestone streets of Jerusalem with a bloody head in his hands I'm gonna preach a message on how to get ahead that's what I'm gonna bridge hard and David's walking through the gates of the city and every little virgin girl in Israel is dancing up and down the street and they want to be David's wife but David was young and David was anointed and David had the glow of God but sayno had anointed him with oil David again set aside the Bible said he was a rowdy man he was of a good complexion they knew God's flavor was on David and David look at them women and said I'm not defining myself I been with God I got a victory over this area of my life and it was the same thing he fell in when he was 60 years old was with a woman you better be careful I don't think we're quite as holy as we want everybody to think we are I don't trust Phil kid as far as I can throw him here's what your Bible said put no confidence in the flesh some of you looking like it you're not coming back well I Got News for you jack I'm not either this is my last night so I'm gonna tell it just like it is the only thing good about you and I is the Holy Ghost that lives inside of us outside of that this body of clay is that enmity with God Paul called it a vile body that's why it's got to be changed before it can get to heaven it's filled with corruption from the top of its head to the bottom of its feet there's nothing good about us except God and if you're not careful you will get so busy having problems with your flesh that it'll wipe the glow of God out of your life I've had people come in my church and I noticed something different about them and I don't know what's wrong with them but I'll tell my wife something wrong with that person out there that glow that joy that excitement they used to have it's gone and it's not very long down the road see it always starts out private but it never ends up that way and you've lost your glow because you've been playing around with the flesh indulging in things that's displeasing God and sometimes you just gotta fight it off and be yourself and come clean with the Lord and say I want a fresh start I want to get in your presence I want that glowing God about me again you lose it because you have problems in the flesh number two I've got to hurry sometimes you lose that glow of godly causes just the priorities of life if you study Exodus 18 Moses is following along with them said look man you're judging all Israel you're leading all Israel you're counseling all Israel you're preaching all Israel if you don't delegate some of your sis stuff you're gonna go crazy and you know the story how Moses picked some Holy Ghost field men and he delegated authority to them to help him judge in the lead the people of Israel sometimes there's things that get you away from God that's not necessarily sinful in its origination it's just priorities of life that you got to deal with life gets complicated teenagers come to me all the time to know God life's hard I'm thinking you little punk you think wives are that you're sleeping in a house that your dad pays for you don't know what an electric bill looks like you've never paid a water bill in your life you don't know what it is to work a double shift stay up all night have diarrhea constipation headaches and go to work anyhow and you think life stuffs now shut up you have no idea what you're talking about you don't know how good you got it honey but sometimes just everything goes wrong and Moses the things that got him away from God wasn't sinful it was stuff that needed to be done do you ever find yourself so busy that at the end of the day you turn around and look and realize I even had time for God I don't care if it's cutting the grass a water pipe breaking a neighbor needing help moving your mother law unexpectedly showing up Lord if that won't get you out of the presence of God nothing will every time I say that I think about Peter in the New Testament here's his mother-in-law on her deathbed the old hags getting ready to die Peter's getting everything in inheritance through his wife and right about the time she's ready to die Jesus takes her by the hand and heals her how do you shout on that have you ever had them days man with just it just piles up and it's not wrong stuff it's just needful stuff maybe you got up one day and you went to work and you finally get to work you get through a traffic jam you get there it's only a month one minute for you check in you hit your timecard you go out to your station and you bend over to do the first thing that you're supposed to do and you rip the seat out of your britches you don't have an extra pair of pants that works so you untuck your shirt and you walk like this all day and some Christian goes by and says I didn't know you had back problems I'm praying for your brother and everybody you work with is foaming at the mouth and screaming and you can't get along with anybody and your boss comes out and he looks like he's got demons jumping from one eye to the other and he's yelling and he's foaming at the mouth and he looks like a dog with rabies and he's going crazy and it's just one of them days and you go in the lunchroom and somebody accidentally ate yours and the Coke machines broke your britches are ripped and everybody's yelling action you leave I just get out of here and get my car and you clock out and you go get in your car and it's all electric windows and you start your car you turn the air conditioner on and the belt breaks now you have no air condition it's 114 degrees in the shade you're gonna let that Electric wind it down the fuse blows you can't let the window down you think if I could just get home it'll be over with it's so hot I can't breathe in this car you're going down the road you're afraid to open the door because every time you stop at a red light a bunch of Mexicans try to jump in your collar so it's a hundred and forty degrees you almost get to the house of trains going now you're stuck with the trade you because that all day your britches are red somebody ate your lunch it's been the awfulest day finally the train goes by you go over the curb there lays your dog's somebody hit your favorite dog you thinking oh god it can't get any worse and you're turning the driveway in there set your mother-in-law with a big suitcase on the front porch now that's a bad hair day and sometimes we don't mean it we don't mean it and sometimes it's not wrong but sometimes priorities getting mixed up and the next thing you know you're going to bed and you hadn't read your Bible you haven't been in your prayer timing all of a sudden that glow is gone now you still know what to say you still know how to act you still sing good you still know a lot about the Bible but that special touch you used to have is gone and you know it and you've let your priorities get mixed up I was reading Susan Wesley had 21 kids so if anybody had a right to get drunk 21 kids and you know what her two preacher's son said about their mother in the midst of twenty well can you imagine 21 kids man cooking on a wood stove three meals a day for 21 kids the only time she ever hit him was in self-defense you get 21 kids on you you got to beat them every once in a while but you know what Charles Wesley said about his mother every day after dinner she would sit down in a rocking chair and take her apron and pulled it over her head and every one of those kids would down and shut up because they knew that was Mama's time with God if a woman with 21 kids and cooking three meals a day on a wood stove can make time for God I don't think we're with any excuse that we don't make time to spend time with God have you got a priority problem you said well brother kids you just don't understand I just got so much going on you remember Martha and Mary had Jesus at the house you remember he went to their house in Bethany to eat and Martha comes up to Jesus and said look I need you to do me a problem I got a problem need you to help me jesus said I wanted to he said I want you to rebuke Mary she's sorry lowdown she's quit working and all she's wanting to do is send it to your feet and Jesus said Mary has done the needful thing and it shall not be taken away from her now he was not telling Martha that laziness is appropriate in God but he was telling Martha that above serving me I need you to spend time with me if we were to put on this back wall today how much time you have spent with Jesus today I wonder if you would be embarrassed I don't expect you to spend as much time with Jesus today as I do because you take care of me so I can spend more time with them I'm not asking you to read 20 chapters of the Bible pray for two and a half hours till you pass out but if you spent any time with him today at all has Jesus even heard your voice today you've not even read one personal scripture all day long no Bible at all well prettier on busy web you read the whole newspaper you watch news for three hours if I could get you to miss your Bible like you missed the remote oh let me say that again fellas look up here at me all you women cutting your eyes at your husband I understand fella crawled in bed with his wife not long ago and he started rubbing her neck she said whew that feels good what long he came down was rubbing on her shoulders she said honey you had done that in a long time what longer he patted her on the head and she said lord have mercy honey you act I got teenager again then all of a sudden he stopped she said why did you stop he said I found the remote you just want to remote we have got time for everything that we want to do except spending time with him but if you want that edge where people see something different about you it's going to take more than you wearing a dress to the ground that looks like a mud flap off a tractor-trailer and it's going to take more than a hundred and twenty-five dollar Stacy Adams tie it goes far beyond that there's there's a clean cut about man they've been in the presence of God and sometimes you got to get a priority reset and say you know what it's more important for me to be with God right now than it is to be on the phone or be in front of a television or reading a magazine or being on a golf course or being on a boat or being on a motorcycle or being in a ring fighting there are times none of that's wrong in this place but there's times when you got to put all of that aside and say I've gotta make time for God it's called a priority thing number three you can lose the glow of God because of pressure from other people you'll find this in numbers thirteen Moses made a bad mistake and he knows it and he'd made it he took 12 deacons one from each tribe and sent him across the Jordan River and said what do you fellas think and ten of them came back and said haha brother we look like grasshoppers in their sight we about to go kill all of us and ten of them said no Joshua and Caleb said ain't none to it God's on our side let's go get it done and he bowed to the pressure of majority you're gonna lose everything God wants you to be when you start letting other people dictate what's best for your life if Moses would have obeyed the word of the Lord God already told him he giving victory everywhere he put his foot but instead of obeying the word of God until its fullness all of a sudden he felt like you know what if I but these guys they're they're gonna be my friends anymore I mean this thing may get serious they may drop me from Twitter and uncertainty on Facebook I mean this could get yes and all of a sudden he realized that he was more concerned about pleasing men that he was pleasing God now if you want to lose the glow of God in your life very fast start making decisions according to the political wind that the Brethren are blowing in you be submissive to God and God will give you victory that those other men will never experience none of those ten men got to go in Canaan land you start listening to the brother and you know why they don't want you crossing the river those men never crossed over and they didn't want Moses to cross over cause misery loves company and the only two that crossed over are the ones that believe the Word of God over the popularity of the Brethren there are times when you got to say if that's okay with you and that's alright between you and God that's fine I just know what's best for me my convictions may not be yours my regulations and boundaries may not be yours but here's what I'm gonna do you do your thing I'm gonna obey the Word of God I'm gonna do exactly what God tells me to do I'm gonna meet him on Judgment Day not you and I'm gonna live in a way that pleases him and not you because the bottom lines drawn the brother Nate worth a dime anyhow somewhere down the road you're gonna do something they don't like I intentionally do stuff they don't like cuz I don't get ulcers I give them bless God Almighty but I'm telling your pure pressure that's why our young people won't live for God when they go to school that's why they don't want to live different that's why they save one side of their head and they died the seven basic colors of a crayon box that's why they don't know if they're a boy or a girl or he or she that's why they don't know what bathroom they need to go in that's why they don't even know which way they're going in their life because they don't want to be different there's got to be a time when you stand up and say this is what God said I dude it like it lump it Pump It and get over it because this is the way I'm going with my life and if you don't do that you'll lose the glow of God in your life you're gonna lose it I'm out of time let me close I work for an ice company in Ohio the biggest company in the state at the time and we had ice machines in a lot of places and I just rented the bridge house 19 years old I own my own trucking company repair place at the time and man I was making big money working for the ice company and all of a sudden they sold out to a man I didn't know him that well and he bought the ice company I'd only met him once or twice and I was the repairman certified with the UAW at Union and so I'd surrender to preach and all of a sudden they sent me a format from the office ice machine was broke down at a store so I went to the store I got the address I got out God opened up my van and took out my tools and everything to find out what was wrong and I turned around and looked at the address it wasn't a store it was a beer joint my PAP all killed a whole house full of people men women and children because of liquor my sister died 38 years old because of liquor my brother-in-law committed suicide at 42 years old because of liquor I slept in the floor never had a mattress 15 years old because of liquor I've got nothing good to say about alcohol and I looked at that beer joint I thought about all my family and all the bad memories that I've had in my life because of liquor and I went back and I went to a pay phone and I called my supervisor and I said sir this icebox is not in the store it's in a beer joint he said so what exit I said sir God saved me out of four generations of drunkards and I don't know how to tell you this without just saying it I'm not going in there I got saved I'm a young man I just got called to preach I can't fix an ice box for a liquor store I'm sorry would you call one of the other men I'm born again and this company had been so good to me they gave me my own vehicle and I'll be honest man as a 19 year old boy I made more money and I'd ever heard of in my life it wasn't long till I got back to the shop and they said the owner the new owner called you so I called you back he said Phil I heard we had a problem with a service call I said yes sir it's a liquor store I'm just I'm not going in I'll fix anything you want I'll work all hours you want I'm just not I can't go in the liquor store and I told him what I told you about my family he said I want you in my office right now I said yes sir I went to his office now you know it's there I'm making big money I got my vehicle free gas I got made and all the way down there the devil said yeah go ahead be different be an oddball be an idiot help yourself you about to lose your job and everything you got I walked in his office and and he looked up at me and we never really talked one-on-one he said so you refused to fix an icebox at a liquor store I said yes sir that's exactly what happened he said close that door I need to talk to you and I thought dear God he's going to kill me right here in this office I'm gonna die for not fixing an ice box at a liquor store and I came back and I sit down and he said you know I get this request in that it needs fixed and all of a sudden I get a 19 year old boy telling me in a multi-million dollar business you're not fixing an icebox because it's in a liquor store he said is there anything I can do to persuade you and I said no sir he said Mr Kydd I was getting ready to give you another dollar 75 an hour raise I said sir I don't care if it's $75 an hour I'm telling you I'll be the best employee you ever had but I will never walk in another beer joint to the day I die I'm done with that he said that's why I want you to shut the door I'm a Christian I inherited these ice boxes when I bought the business I don't blame you I wouldn't work in it either and when these ice boxes are broke we're taking them out and we're done with them and we're not fixing them and we're not replacing them and by the way I'm gonna give you a two dollar 50 cent an hour raise because you dared to be different and what you believed there are times that you got to stand and stand alone and it may cost you but it'll put a glow of God on you not bow to this world not let your priorities get mixed up not let the problems with the flesh overtake you spend time with God you know the only thing Moses took on the mountain with him we're the Ten Commandments there's times you got to get away from food family noise kids everything you just get your Bible and get with God a couple of my grandkids I'm done with this couple of my grandkids come stay with us the other thing I'll tell you man there's something different about kids from when I was a kid kids don't act like they used to these kids are bouncing off the walls they're pulling my lights out of the ceiling there trying to hotwire my motorcycle these kids they're nuts they're just they can't sit down they're crazy they're they're bouncing everywhere and they never run out of energy you got to choke them to get them in the bed at night it they'd spent several days with us and I said honey don't they make a pill for she said bless God they're not taking nothing I said well I'll take it but but but one of us has got to have some relief man give her give it here I'll take this thinking thing but I was in my prayer closet praying and my six-year-old grandson busted through the door and I was on my knees just spending time with God and I spun around and I said son pop I was praying you got to give me some time he said pop off jesus said you prayed enough it's time to go play with your grandchildren I'd say I'd like to kill me you got to make there's time you just got to have you I hope I made sense tonight so can I ask you this in closing have you really got that glow of God about you anymore let's stand with our heads bowed where did your glow go when I see a couple questions number one are you closer to God now than you've ever been number two when's the last time you have got closer to God or number three are you not as close to God as you used to be could you honestly say you got God on you have you got that power that anointing that fullness that freshness that Liberty that only comes through the Spirit of God ruling and reigning in your life did you know brother black 20 years ago I could preach like this and before I ever got done half the church would be on the altar saying Oh God but we have come to such a sophisticated day where people are just comfortable where they're at and nobody wants to move up anymore if that's where you're at then stay where you're at but I want to be everything Jesus wants me to be and when my children and my grandchildren and my community looks at me I want them to see God on me father as a lot of people need to be on this altar tonight and I'm not making them and I'm not asking them all they need to do is everything you're speaking to them about and thank you for speaking to me tonight in Jesus name while the piano plays that's right come on all over the building all over the building don't be a Pharisee don't be a liar don't justify yourself don't say well you know I'm just kind of I'm just kind of in neutral no you're not in neutral if you're not moving forward you are moving backwards you remember that time when you used to walk with God you remember that time when you did want to testify you remember that time when the preacher would preached on Jesus and you used to cry and go to the altar and thank him for saving you you remember when people would sing man your heart would turn cartwheels in your chest use excited about God but guess what now you've lost your glow may God help all of us preach around through [Music] versus Richard Baird Lord he's gotta come clean with God [Music] [Music] we still have people the altar so there's still time for you to come we never rush an invitation always wait if somebody's at an altar we're going to give them the time we just came from camp last week and it's not unusual at camp just to sit down and after message and stand there as we're doing now and just let God work no TV to go to no video games [Music] just out the wilderness no coverage on cellphones anyway just like on work so where did you lose your glow [Music] sometimes we know it was something specific something that we picked up and we got to let go of it sometimes it was just got busy here and there [Music] good person and just it got away from you didn't it truth is you still love the Lord and you want to please him but it's just not the way it used to be [Music] [Music] one thing I enjoy about brother Kidd is just the reality of life that he portrays and when we're with emits we talk with him you know the conversation is real things of life we talk about our real really kid never claims to try to be something that he's not sometimes we are willing to admit that our flesh is weak boy you gotta be careful thinking more highly of yourself than you ought to think your pride will swell up don't think you need to spend time with the Lord [Music] spirit of the Living God fall fresh [Music] Thank You for a few reasons but one being I'll keep this in my Bible and and I'll be able to look back at it and remember the outline that that is given and and hindrance to not go into the next levels they preach to us last night and where did your glow go and maybe problems with the flesh and and priorities in life and and pressure from other people boy all the preachers in here we know a little bit about that now the reason why I love him but I think it's wonderful if you're glad you came tonight would you say man hey man I'm so glad as well you be seated we want brother Kidd to tell us about some of the messages and different things on the book table so brother Kidd will give you that time give you thought to go home with when the high priest came into the tabernacle the Bible said he had to wash himself put on a clean white linen robe and he filed across his chest and I might her on his head so that meant from the time he served out in the courtyard till the time he got in the Shekinah glory of God there was a time that priest was naked he had to take all of his clothes off wash himself and put clean clothes on the only thing he didn't wear was shoes because God wanted to remind him that even at best you're nothing but dirt see the reason why some people don't move forward to get that glow of God is you don't want to come clean with God there's some things God wants to strip you of and you don't want to let go of that and those very things is want to keep you out of his presence so I hope you will remember that I thought I ran out but I found a couple more copies on you'll just say dear God what is going on why do I do that is it always wrong to do it well Jesus did it on the cross my God my God why has thou forsaken me sometimes it's not wrong to ask God why and I'll deal with all of that and then the Ministry of angels are there really angels around us is that only Old Testament are all the Angels gone now since we have the comforter the Holy Spirit living in us if angels are active in our day what are they doing I said this at a church and a woman through a song look you got so mad and I love when people respond like that it just I know they're listening this is all I said now watch this I'm saying cuz I'm not coming back this is all I said never in the Bible is an angel referred to as a as a female never every name of an angel in the Bible is a male gender and all I said was ladies get over it you'll never be an angel in this world or the one to go and there with the songbook across that auditorium so I know that lady will never be one I'll tell you that much but be sure to stop by our product table I told you yesterday all that goes toward our ministry of getting the gospel around the world there's two other television stations that I'm trying to get on television right now is $15 a minute a minute to be on television and we're on 10 stations now and there's several more that I'd really like to get on and I'd like to get on TV in every state in America because in this wealth and health and all the other nonsense it's on I think there ought to be a foaming at the mouth rage and John the Baptist leather long just spitting
