the ash is a reminder for us that we are mortal but therefore this ash reminds us that we will pass away from this world so let us remember this particular meaning of ash wednesday when he pushes the put aside you can use that in order to reach out to the poor and that will be your penance for your sins so that is one and the other is maybe sometimes when you suffer there are some people who are unjust in treating you or people who are jealous and who are backbiting you if you cannot you cannot ask forgiveness from them or they do not forgive you well accepting what is what we cannot help or what is difficult to to do for other people you know when i was in my assignment in legaspi albay or divine world college i run some accountant who was an accountant of a big firm firmer company he came to me and confided um um [Music] well if i do that i will be removed from my position or for my job so i'm gonna go up on a long father especially during the season of lent i tried to make reparations uh against the credit the good works that i do then i balance it you know so like in accounting they said credit minus uh pizza because no father credit minus debit equals zero zero balance so in other words my dear friends he balances his sense through like this debit and and makes up by doing good works by giving alms and also trying to help other people who are in need and there are other things to be done as penance and our work of penitence as we journey to this lantern season and our lord said if you hear my voice harden at your hearts harden at your hearts to make
