$50 Apartment Philippines (extreme rip-off)

the number one request I get is this Harold show us where you live show us what you eat those videos are so simple it's my least favorite to make but who might to deny someone's request so this is my lavish mansion even has a little Filipino kitchen and a I believe this is gonna kill mosquitoes tonight I don't know I just moved in here but I believe that is what it does a little broom a little plate stone yes this should be a water tank a little Filipino style sink and not bad this place actually has Internet it's the first place I have had proper well reasonable it's 400 kbps whatever that means kilobytes per second I guess so that's the best I've found on this whole island and it's also fairly modern the bungalows go for three to eight thousand pesos and they are crap and I'm just across the beach which I'm gonna go down to now and show you guys so let's bring my broker should I bring my book I don't think I need it my buddy is down there ship of fools Tucker Carlson I'm actually borrowing this from from Tim so let's show you them the walk from here down to the beach bring in my broker vite them in water and see you when you see me dear home home sweet home no like a little worried about security here because I have so many videos in there but okay it is I just found this this morning as I was investigating apartments on the other side of the road I found this little homestay well the first place I checked out not a second is actually right across the road here and that's where I'm going now it's called Patrick's one of the older resorts here food there should be good so that's what I'm gonna do now I'm gonna meet Tim there for some drinks some food and a swim I'm gonna champey chair is effing epic it's it's unreal this Beach right across the road Patrick's on the beach so the thing about this island so maybe you're wondering why is it so expensive if this is such a small low-key curry you know Bali Mallorca type of place well it is exactly because it is so low-key that it is so pricey here supply is incredibly limited so the few hotels that are here and resorts that are already established here they can charge whatever they want and they do and they don't care much for customer service or upgrading the rooms or you've given you much okay a service thus far this place was an exception they were very nice they are Patrick's but that's what it is before the wheels of capitalism turns into motion and the competition pushes on a little confused SSO I'm going straight before a competition leads to an increase in service and a decrease in price quality goes up price comes down that hasn't quite happened here here yet it's said it's in the process of happening could it take some time where is where is old mr. I do wonder how many of these places can be a tourist hub, as much as i would like to see the locals thrive, there's only so much tourist dollars, so many places that can be developed into a Bali, Phuket, Da Nang, etc... With over developing killing some of these places....
