5 Small Campers with Bathrooms and No Slides

we found some awesome travel trailers with no slide outs so no problems stick around folks you're going to want to check these campers out hi everybody mike with rv blogger here in front of the camera and susan's behind the camera and today we're going to be taking a look at travel trailers that have no slide outs now some folks like campers with slide-outs so they can have more space inside their camper but other folks want to avoid the maintenance issues or maybe some problems that might arise from having a slide out hey if you've seen us before on youtube welcome back to our channel if this i'll put a link below so you can subscribe and join in and read our terrific magazine but today we're going to be taking a look at our campers with no slide outs so without any further ado let's get started with our reviews this travel trailer is the sunset park sunray model number 149 it has a unloaded vehicle weight of just 2 140 pounds and a gross vehicle weight rating of 3 500 pounds so it's a very light small camper that's easy to tow and it's only 16 feet 2 inches long now when you first walk in the front door of this camper you've got your dinette off to the right hand side and your kitchen and bed area on the left hand side but you can see it in here it's just got a really cool retro feel going on i love it i love all the natural wood feeling in here very very cool of course they have the retro colors going on in the dinette area each one of the dinette benches can pretty easily seat one person two people you're going to be kind of crammed in there a little bit but one person could very comfortably sit on each side this does convert into a bed and then also underneath each one of the benches there is storage area there for you as well just to the left of the door is where the kitchen area is located and you'll notice right here that we have a microwave oven up top it is not a convection microwave but nonetheless you have a nice microwave oven got a little storage cabinet here next to it just below that you've got a nice single bowl kitchen sink with a gooseneck faucet everything's tight because it's brand spanking new and then you have a two burner stove and then down below this you've got a full extension drawer really nice high quality drawer in here it's all all wood and then you have more storage underneath your kitchen sink now across from the kitchen area and next to the dinette you have your refrigerator location and you know nice small refrigerator it does have a little separate freezer area in here as well so you keep your ice cubes frozen above the refrigerator you have this nice big storage area in here and then above that you have a wall mounted ac unit and then right next to the refrigerator and ac you've got your tv location with your rough ends overhead you can put this on a bracket so you can swing the tv so you can watch it at the dinette or swing it the other way so you can watch it while you're laying in bed just past the kitchen is where the queen size bed is located let's get a measurement on this and see what size it actually is oh it's a full size bed it is 54 inches wide 76 inches long so i would call this a short full-size bed but great place to sleep over top we have lots of storage here that's all built in even inside the cabinets has the nice wood finish so everything is nice and retro looking in here yeah you also have a window on either side of the bed location and on this side over here we have a receptacle plus usb ports so you can charge up your phones overnight and then down below there's a door right here and inside there is plenty of storage you can also access the storage under the bed from the compartment doors on the outside of this trailer so here i am inside of the wet bath inside of this camper and it's tight i mean it's a wet bath it's a small camper but it's enough to get the job done you'll notice in here that the floor of the shower is just about the same height as the floor in the camper and there's a skylight in here so your headroom inside the shower gives you a full six feet of eight inches of room your standard height outside and just the camper itself is six feet five inches so even though it's a small camper there's a good amount of head space in here there's a curtain that you would pull across so that the door doesn't get all wet while you're taking a shower and then of course your commode is in the wet bath as well this travel trailer is the forest river wildwood fsx model number 177 bhx and it's the platinum edition it weighs in with an unloaded vehicle weight of 3074 pounds the gvwr is 3905 pounds so you have a cargo carrying capacity of about pounds and it measures in at just 22 feet long but it sleeps five people now when you first walk in the door in this trailer on the right hand side you've got the bedroom area here for the owners of the rv and we take a look at the bed you've got a cabinet on the right hand side nice wardrobe cabinet it's a little bit narrow could be a little bit wider and then it's got this storage shelf up above the bed size here is 60 inches by 74 inches so we would consider that a short queen size bed and then your ceiling height is six feet six inches tall so you know decent amount of ceiling height in here uh on this end of your bed you've got a little nightstand here that you could put your phones or whatever you want you've got a receptacle two usb ports so you can charge things overnight this bed also lifts up and this is all storage area underneath of it which is also accessible from outside of your camper as well so as we move towards the back of the camper you'll notice you've got your dinette right here this could easily seat four people this also converts into a bed nice big window over top which i always like and then it's got storage space up above now these cabinets they don't stay up on their own so you just kind of have to hold them up when you reach in here to pull things in and out but that's okay now right across from the dinette you've got an inline kitchen what i mean by an inline kitchen is everything is right in line as you go down the row here so we start off with a two burner stove and you'll notice more and more that these stoves are also in line so they take up less space instead of the burners being side by side they're front and back so it helps to give you more countertop space and you need every inch of countertop space you can possibly find down below your range you've got a full extension drawer which is great put your utensils and whatnot in there more storage space underneath of the sink area and then the sink itself is a really nice big deep single bowl sink with a gooseneck faucet over top got a window over top of your sink which is always nice to have and then over top here we have a regular microwave oven not a convection so there's no oven in here and there's no convection microwave and then you have additional storage to the right of the microwave as well right next to the storage space we have our refrigerator and this is a good sized fridge and a separate freezer so you could store a lot of food in here i like the depth of the refrigerator now right across from the kitchen area and behind the dinette you have two bunks here so the kids could hop on in here and sleep at night pretty comfortably up above there is a window for this bunk each one has a light over top so the kids can see what they're doing and there are a couple of usb ports located right here so the kids can charge their devices or watch keep them charged while they're while they're using them and then we have the bathroom in the very back of this trailer in the bathroom here uh it's a very basic bathroom setup the shower is you know pretty decent size i don't know it's about three feet wide by 21 inches 22 inches deep and then your ceiling height inside the shower it's a little tight in here the ceiling height is just six feet and it's not really a skylight but it's a vent um a skylight vent and that is six feet three inches tall so if you taller folks you know you might have to squeeze down a little bit to take a shower in here now there's no vanity in here there's no sink in this bathroom there's just a mirror and then your commode and i'll do the old elbow test there's a lot of room in here so um decent sized space in the bathroom this travel trailer is the gulfstream enlightened model number 20 rd and you've probably heard me say it before but gulfstream makes their enlightened series only for camping world locations now this camper is 25 and a half feet long the unloaded vehicle weight is just 4126 pounds the gross vehicle weight rating on here is 75.80 so again this this camper has a really good cargo carrying capacity of about 33 almost 3 400 pounds this travel trailer sleeps up to four people now when you first walk in the door into this camper on the right hand side is where the bedroom area is and you'll notice that there is a wardrobe cabinet on each side of the bed nice deep cabinet you can hang things up in there and then there's also a storage shelf over top and then let's see what size bed this is i believe it's a short queen yeah it's 74 inches long 60 inches wide so it's definitely what we would consider a short queen size bed on each side of the bed there's also a receptacle and usb port and there are a couple of windows here also so you can get a nice cross breeze in your bedroom area and in addition to that you can lift up the bed and there is storage area underneath of it and plenty of it and then there's a curtain that draws across for some privacy okay so uh right as you walk on the other side of the door into this trailer you've got your kitchen area and in here it has a really nice big double bowl sink pretty deep it's got a gooseneck faucet over top and then down below plenty of storage underneath of your kitchen sink there's also some drawers here for you to put your silverware and other other utensils like that above the sink area they have this like frosted glass cabinet that's nice it gives it a nice look and then that's a really large cabinet for more storage up top as well right next to your sink area you've got a three burner stove here and this one has an oven down below so that's pretty cool and then above you have a regular microwave oven now when we move past the kitchen area we get to the dinette section this will very comfortably seat two people but it could seat up to four but i like it back here because you have a nice big window at your dinette and then there's a really nice big window at the back of this trailer so it you know really opens things up back here this feature i really like you have your couch you know in the back of this trailer as well and so i just feel like if you were a couple staying in here you'd be really super comfortable you know you've got your sleeping area up front dinette and a couch back here and then right across is you know where your tv location would be so this seems like a really nice setup for all that now above your couch area here there's even more storage space so lots of stuff lots of places to stow things away and with the cargo carrying capacity you could fill it up in here probably no problems now a little bit unusual but i think it's really kind of cool this cabinet can be used as either a storage cabinet or a pantry cabinet you'd probably have to add some shelves in here to make it a pantry but they have a bar up top so you could use it for coats and things like that but it gives you a lot of options on how you want to use this cabinet and then you've got your refrigerator and sorry my arms in front of the camera and separate freezer but it's a nice big fridge i mean look at all the space you have in there so here i am inside the bathroom and this is a good size dry bath in this particular trailer it also has a small bathtub so if you have little kids and you want to pop them in the bath you can you'll notice it's quite a big step up from the floor into this tub so i mean it's up to my knee so it's a pretty big step but when you jump up in here you know it's a decent sized shower ceiling height wise the ceiling height regular ceiling height from floor to ceiling in here is six feet eight inches and then when you're in the shower the shower to the ceiling is 73 inches but the shower to the top of the skylight is six feet six inches so um you know as long as you the skylight's almost the whole size of the shower so if you're a taller person i think you'd fit in here you know just fine the rest of the bathroom features a built-in medicine cabinet down below that you've got your vanity and then storage underneath shelves off to the side and then your commode location this travel trailer is the jayco j flight slx model number 212 qb it's 25 feet 8 inches long and the unloaded vehicle weight on it is just 4 341 pounds it has a carrying capacity of 1159 pounds so your total gross vehicle weight rating is 5500 pounds when you first walk in the door you walk right in and you've got your kitchen and living area on the left but then you have your bedroom area on the right and you'll notice up here that you have a queen size bed let's see how long this baby is it's about i would say probably a 72 inch mattress on the length and of course it should be about 60 inches wide which it is so definitely a short queen definitely on the shorter side of the short queens um ceiling height in here you've got a good healthy six feet nine inches so that's a good thing now you'll notice on each side of the bed you've got a closet with a mirrored door this side has shelves built into it and the other side has a bar so you can hang things up and then you have another shelf above for additional storage underneath of the shelf there are a couple of reading lights that you can turn on as well and then you'll notice each side of the bed has a nightstand and there are receptacles and usb outlets well there's a receptacle on each side and usbs just on the one side this mattress also completely lifts up so there's a whole bunch of storage underneath of here as well and you can access some of that storage from outside also in here you'll notice that there's a window on each side of the bedroom so you get a nice cross breeze through here if you'd like and then the tv mount location is right straight ahead of the bed it's a perfect location it's all pre-wired so you can hook it right up okay so here we are at the kitchen location and the kitchen itself has a nice deep double bowl sink here with a gooseneck faucet underneath the sink you've got additional storage space here you've got almost a fully extendable drawer it's pretty close but not quite two drawers down here for all your utensils and all that good stuff over top nice big storage cabinet here you have a regular microwave oven your range hood you've got a three burner stove here and then your oven down below now there's also additional storage underneath of your oven so that's kind of nice to have okay and right across from the stove and the microwave is the refrigerator and this is a nice size refrigerator with a separate freezer up top so that's always a good thing when you have a separate fridge and freezer and then you have a nice big pantry cabinet here on the side of your fridge now as we wrap around to the back of the rv you'll notice you might notice that this floor plan feels very very similar to the gulf stream and lighten uh i believe it was the 20 rd model that we shot and it is really super similar so we wanted to point that out in this video because if you're interested in an enlightened they're only available at camping world whereas you can buy a jayco pretty much anywhere so if you like the floor plan you have a couple of different options there as we wrap around into the living area back here this is another reason i think this trailer is good for couples you've got your living room set up back here along with the dinette right across from it so it really works out pretty well now this sofa does jackknife and i guess a small child could sleep here so it's not really meant for another adult but you have additional cabinetry over top plenty of windows back here you've got one on each side and you've got the big back window so it really feels good back here and then you have your dinette that can easily sit two or four people the dinette also converts into a bed so one more person could sleep here if you'd like them to you've got your tv mount location up here and then you have a little entertainment center little cubby for storage and then even more storage over top of the dinette so here i am in the bathroom which is right across from the entrance and the kitchen sink and uh this model has a very small bathtub in it so if you had small kids and you wanted to give them a bath you could when i hop up in the shower here your headroom really feels pretty good in here i mean from the shower to the regular ceiling you have six feet four inches but in the skylight you've got a good six feet nine inches of space in here so really good amount of headroom inside the shower i really like when jayco uh builds their showers they they now have this track that bends out into the bathroom so it pushes the shower curtain out a little bit further which gives you a little bit more room inside your shower you'll also notice in here a mirror and then you've got your vanity and then plenty of space underneath and also to the side lots of countertop space in here and then of course you have your commode this travel trailer is the intec rv terra oasis model it is 26 feet long it has a dry weight that ranges between 56.50 and 5 850 pounds and the gross vehicle weight rating on this trailer is 7 500 pounds now when you first walk into this camper it feels really cool in here i mean it's just got this ultra modern feel and the first thing you notice is just this panoramic windshield up here which gives you a huge view you can see our brand new jeep outside we're at leo's dealership here in maryland and they're very kind they let us come shoot all kinds of videos and everything so you can see all their other campers that they have for sale around us also but the view up here is really really cool now the dinette is in the front of this camper and it's got some really neat features to it first of all the material that's used on it is just very soft um it's got a nice comfortable feeling to it but you can seat i guess one two three four people here very very comfortably but it has this cool swivel feature to it so you can swivel this around and everybody can get in and out of the dinette very easily there's a locking mechanism underneath so you can tighten it into place but to make it easy for people to get in and out they made this swivel feature now you'll also notice around the dinette area all of this overhead storage and it's you know got quite a bit of it you've got open storage on each side you've got closed storage behind these doors here so they just try to use every single square inch that they possibly can for storage in here and you'll also notice up along the ceiling they have these really nice beauty rings around all the lights it just gives it a very modern feel a very luxurious feeling here you also have your your 12 volt max air fan and then as we wrap around into the kitchen area lots of overhead storage as you can see behind both of these cabinets good firm magnets so the doors don't go flying open which is always a good thing then you have your range hood you've got a nice little hanger behind here which is good for you know utensils or whatever you want to hang up there you have a two burner stove and then a really nice big farmhouse style sink and i really like the look of this you've got a separate sprayer with your faucet over top and then a window here and you can get a nice cross breeze blowing through here it's just wonderful now their shades in here are very nice too you've got this style of shade which just creates a little bit of shading inside or you can pull the whole thing down and that gives you privacy shading at night time so just a very nice way of doing things i also really like the way that there's like a two-tone feel in here so you've got this darker cabinetry and walls and things and then your actual cabinet doors are the white color so it just gives it a very luxurious upscale feeling in here now down below you've got a convection microwave oven so really good size nice and deep you can get some good dishes in there a whole pizza in there cook that up so very nice setup there and then you have additional storage down below and of course your hot water heater down below your sink and then there's even a little drawer over here that pulls out it's a full extension drawer it even comes with a drying rack that you can put over top of the kitchen sink right next to the convection oven and stove top you have your refrigerator here now this is a good size refrigerator nice and deep big plenty of space lots of space for cold storage items and then right across from that as we just wrap our way around in here um you have a great tv location here so when you're sitting at the dinette which by the way converts into another bed so you could be laying there getting ready to go to sleep or you could be hanging out at your dinette perfect spot to have the tv then you have additional countertop space here you've got a nice full extension drawer and then down below even more storage space but what i like about it are these drawers that pull out also and it's got one up top and another down below so as we move towards the back of this trailer in the center of the trailer is where the bathroom is located and this bathroom has two doors so on one side we have the commode and a sink and on the other side is where your shower is located i really like this split design because one person can be in the bathroom whatever brushing their teeth whatever and another person can be taking a shower so very very cool setup in my opinion so here i am in the bathroom sitting on the commode as susan would say as usual but anyway here i am and in this bathroom um it's really a good sized bathroom in here so plenty of room for me to feel comfortable in here there's also additional storage to my right which has these little bungee type cords to hold things in place above me there is a towel rack and then above that there's also additional storage nice big window in here and of course you have your two styles of window shades in here as well and then you have a huge mirror straight ahead a very little corner sink one of the smallest i've ever seen i wish that was a little bigger but it'll get the job done if you're in here brushing your teeth and then you've got some storage underneath of there as well so here i am across the hall and in the shower and you know the shower has a decent amount of headroom especially if you're inside of where this max air vent is located ceiling height wise inside the shower you've got about six feet eight inches so a good amount of headroom inside the shower for you taller guys now a couple really nice features in here are first of all the shower head and shower arm are on an easy slide so you just push this button and it slides up and down and it you can set your shower head height very very convenient this also pops off so you just have a sprayer and you can use it as you like but a very very cool feature and then next to me here there's a couple of towel hooks in the back and then i guess you could put your shampoos and body wash and things like that in this little in this little holder i don't know what exactly that's called anyway there's also a seat in here that you know you could either sit down right here or you know if you ladies were shaving your legs you could do that nice and easy so very very cool shower setup here i am in the owner's bedroom and i just love this sliding door it just again it gives you that ultra modern feel in here it has a really neat little door latch at the bottom so you might have noticed we're very crooked in this video and that's because we're at a dealership we're out on the back lot we're on a kind of a hill and so the whole rv is a little crooked but this door wants to slide this way really bad but the but the latch on it is very very sturdy very very high quality it's you know that door is going to hold in place and it's just fine so anyway come on in the bedroom and check it out good sized bed in here lots and lots of storage they've used every single place they possibly could to create storage in here from you know over top of the bed each side of the nightstands you've got usbs you've got receptacles everything you need to plug in and recharge overnight just you know storage here with bungee cords additional storage to hang things storage down below so every single place they could possibly create a little storage cubby they certainly did so the bed size in here just to get an accurate measure on it is 60 inches wide and about 74 inches long so it's definitely considered a short queen and then ceiling height wise overall in this camper is pretty tall the ceiling arches from end to end so the middle of the rv is where you're where you'll get the most ceiling height and that'll give you about six feet ten inches of headroom and then it it fades on each end over the dinette in the front and over the bed back here and it fades down i mean i'm 511 so there's plenty of room for me i mean it's still six feet five inches back here so you know lots of head space inside this camper as well let us know which one of these travel trailers without slides you like the most in the comments down
