5 MUST HAVE Xbox Series X Accessories!

what's going on guys it's your average consumer and chances are you probably just got yourself a brand new xbox series x or maybe a series s and now you're wondering what are the best accessories that i can get to up my gaming experience right i know you asked exactly that well i got the answers for you today we're going to talk about my five must-have accessories for the brand new xboxes and we're going to start off with some audio so we got this guy over here we have the steel series arctis 7x now steelseries was cool enough to sponsor today's video and send these out and let me tell you why these things are dope so not only does it look pretty good it matches the whole xbox vibe does that pretty well but this is a super comfortable headset you guys can see the flexible band over here so no matter how big your head may be because mine is it's pretty about there and this is still super duper comfortable so you have over ear ear cups so they'll stay over the ear no pressure added to it because these are nice soft cushions and they're breathable so your ears aren't going to get super hot while you're playing it just is an overall nice experience to have this on and of course you know you got that extendable mic so you can go ahead and get in your party chats all that good stuff and i don't know if you guys know this but the steel series arctus 7 has won more awards than any other gaming headset out there so they've got quite the reputation and it's now on the series x now what's cool about these is not only do they work with the xboxes but they also work with playstation nintendo switch pcs android devices you name it it'll work with it it's super flexible lots of versatility here so if you want to take this around to other consoles you're not limited by that so if you big ball in and you don't just have the xbox series x you got the ps5 ii you'll be able to use this one headset with either of them now while that's dope the craziest part is the fact that these have 24 hours of battery life that's insane you guys being able to game without having to worry about battery life is awesome it's got a low latency wireless connection so you don't have to worry about lag and you also have all of your controls right on the ear cups so your chat mixers your volume your mic new button everything that you might be looking for you have access to right here so no special programs or extra controllers all right on the ear cups and these go for about 150 they're solidly built i've been recommending steelseries headsets for years now so if you guys want to check these up yourself and get your hands on them so the steelseries arctis 7x must have gaming headset dope quality dope sound highly recommend that but let's move on should we do we just talk about the it's here right why not so let's talk guys chances are if you picked up one of the new xboxes or the playstation 5 you're gonna want a tv with hdmi 2.1 so you can get the most out of your new console now what does that mean that means getting 4k and it means getting 120 frames per second or at least have access to that so as more games come out and developers really push the envelope in terms of what these systems can do we're going to be seeing games come in at higher refresh rates that 120 hertz what that means is you get that smoother quality the motion will look awesome so this is a tv the lg nano cell 85 that actually supports 4k and 120 frames per second and hdr all that good stuff and it doesn't break the bank well it doesn't break the bank compared to the other tvs that can do it so this is the 55-inch version right here and you can pick this up for about like 700 bucks which is actually not bad considering everything that it can do you'll be hard-pressed to find tvs that meet those qualifications and it has two hdmi ports that have that 120 hertz refresh rate so if you have the playstation and the xbox you can hook them both up and not have to worry about only one port supporting it so definitely highly recommend this it's a solid looking tv you've probably seen or heard a ton about this tv from other youtubers and with good reason it comes in at a really affordable price point for what it is and the quality i mean it's lg when it's lg or samsung chances are they're going to look pretty good and this one is no different gaming on this has been fun so if you want to get the most out of your console the best experience possible you're going to want a tv like this with that 120 hertz refresh rate as well as 4k 8k is supposed to be coming down the line but we ain't even worried about that yet but a word of warning guys so with these tvs there's a little quirk that i've discovered if you try to have 4k 120 hertz and hdr on at the same time you get some weird effect i'm not really sure why let's turn on hdr allow hdr 10. so do you guys see this do you see how like it's all green now i don't think xbox wants you to see this much green they like green not this much i don't know what exactly the reason is but i do know having those three settings on at the same time causes this issue so if you go into the settings and then you just turn off like hdr10 you'll be able to go back into the game and play it just fine and the same basically works if you turn off maybe 120 hertz but you keep hdr on i don't know if it's a lg nano cell thing or what but if you pick this tv up and you see you're getting that weird green screen turn off one of those settings whether it's 120 hertz or the hdr that should solve your issue it's like the only real quirk that i have with this team now the next thing we got to talk about and i personally think it's a must-have is the xbox expansion card right here so this guy will give you an extra terabyte of storage which might not seem like a big deal since certain hard drives can give you like four terabytes at a time two terabyte but you get a one terabyte ssd here with the same speeds as the xbox series x solid-state drive so that's a big deal if you want those faster loading times you want the experience to still be the same you don't want to feel any stutter you're gonna want that card i quickly found from downloading a bunch of games how fast one terabyte fills up so you're going to want to get the card if you want more digital games with the same smooth experience now what i also like about it is the fact that you just throw it into the back it disappears and it just lives there it's not an extra hard drive that you got to keep next to your system or anything like that so even if you want to move your system around you got no problems you got nothing dangling from it no hard drive that you got to be really careful of not hitting or something if you're looking for extra storage even if you got to save up for it a little bit or something i highly recommend that over any other solution that's out right now now we got some stuff over here let me hit you guys with something basic over here we have that charge and play kit now i said it in previous videos i don't really mind having the double a batteries because i don't have to swap them out often i can game for a long time without worrying about whether or not my batteries are dying but some of you don't like that and i get it whatever xbox has options so if you want to have that rechargeable battery you got to get the charge and play kit that gives you this rechargeable battery that goes right inside of here nothing special throw it right in it's got that xbox branding you're all good to go what's nice though is that it comes with this really long usb type-c cable so let's say you're gaming and your battery is running low you want to charge it up you go ahead plug it into your system and still play from your couch with lots of room to spare on the cable so while you're charging you can still play without feeling like you have to be really close to your console so dope i think they go for like 20 bucks now i know some people wish this was just built in but like i said i'm one of those people that don't mind the double a batteries but it's here so if you're one of those people it's a must-have but if i could be honest with you guys i said forget this controller all together and get yourselves one of these the xbox elite 2 controller this thing let me tell you guys i got really good at apex because of this controller now i don't know if it's a placebo effect or what but the second i got this controller that's how that's how my guns go in apex pat pat uh but i'll just decide uh ever since i got this though i did feel like i had a more competitive edge than i did prior this controller just feels absolutely awesome in the hand it's got some nice heft to it honestly it just doesn't compare this is a fine controller don't get me wrong fine controller but the elite controller feels elite now not only is this a premium feeling controller but it's also customizable you guys can see i could just pop off these little joysticks and i can switch these up depending on what i want to do so it comes with a travel case which also has all the different attachments that you can put onto those joysticks so depending on what you want like i said you can just go ahead and easily very easily swap them out and you can even change up the d-pad so instead of your classic d-pad that you have over here you can get something like this which is kind of where the new xbox controller got its inspiration from but what i think are some of the bigger advantages that you get with this controller are these hair trigger locks so with the hair trigger locks you can actually adjust how far you want them so with these you can control how far down your trigger button goes so if you have them normal they go all the way down and as you bring these down you drop them a level you can see it becomes a lot shallower that touch so what that means is instead of having to completely press it to get like a shot off you're doing a much shorter motion which means you're getting your shots off a lot faster so little things like that can give you the competitive edge when you're playing just shooting your bullets before your opponent does what do you think whoever shoots first wins right exactly but you also get extra paddles in the back too that you can add on and we've seen stuff like this from like scuff controllers and all that stuff where you can just add on these paddles here and basically have extra buttons in the back of the controller like if i'm playing apex which is a first person shooter i press this to crouch instead of like the b button because now i can look around with my camera while pressing this like normally i'd have to let go of my camera button crouch jump back to the camera so instead of having to do any of that i keep my hands on the camera stick so that i can have my width about me throughout the entire match while still being able to crouch without getting my thumb off of the camera button so hopefully that made sense uh but it's an advantage you guys and it's dope it completely changes the way you play i wholeheartedly recommend the elite 2 controller but moving on to one more kind of controller we have this the moga power a controller and this is actually kind of cool because it's like an xbox controller but what's nice about this is as you can see i have my phone attached to it now if you have xbox game pass you get access to streaming games right from your smartphone which is absolutely insane it's just awesome to be able to play xbox games on the go right from your phone so if you aren't subscribed to like xbox game pass ultimate or something do yourself a favor and just subscribe you get a bunch of free games it's a little bit more money like just a few bucks more but it is well worth it you can download a few games for free well not free but you download a few games and you make your money back very easily so i highly recommend it if you're not using it right now sign up for it because you also get access to stuff like this being able to have a controller like this and just go in and play i'm not going online i'll just do arcade i'm not trying to get whooped on camera not today not today i mean check this out guys i'm straight up playing marvel vs capcom 3 right from my phone now would you want to play more versus capcom i don't know does anybody really like this game but you have access to it meanwhile there's going to be like this one marvelous capcom 3 player who's like oh this guy's trash but yeah being able to game on the go like wherever you are with game pass i think it's dope having an extra controller like this where you can strap your phone onto and just take this experience anywhere i like it a lot i like it a lot and i wouldn't use this for like competitive gaming or anything like that there's like an online aspect to it i don't know if that would really work out with like lag and all that kind of stuff if you're trying to save some money and you just get the game pass you can use your regular elite controller with your smartphone so it'll work like that you don't need to buy this but i like this because the entire setup makes it easy to take around and go places with it and i don't know if you want to sit there and take your xbox elite controller with you in certain places if you go outdoors with this setup honestly something like this might make it to my gadget backpack but i'd say that about wraps it up for this video guys hopefully you enjoyed it uh these are
