5 Hidden Features Chevrolet doesn't tell you. Did you know about these?

hey everybody happy friday i'm justin welcome back to the channel chevy know-how where i break everything down for you and tell you everything and anything happening in the chevrolet world today behind me i got a 2500 high country duramax diesel and i'm gonna tell you five things that you didn't know that may be on your chevrolet vehicle stay tuned the first of the five hidden features we're gonna talk about today is the remote window operation this feature allows you to use your key fob to roll all four of your windows down you may ask yourself justin why would i need to roll all four of my windows down with my key fob i don't know maybe it's hot outside or maybe the dodge ram owner that parked next to you admiring your beast of a truck you see him out the window you're like oh watch this i'm a i'm gonna roll for my windows down right now wow wow that's what the guy with the rams gonna be saying when he realizes all four of your windows went down without you in the truck now you may ask yourself this justin can i roll him back up like so no can't to turn this setting on in your truck go to the settings as so now once you have the setting turned on you're going to grab your key fob and unlock it then you're going to hold down for three seconds and voila hidden feature number two and my personal favorite the rear end silverado 1500 and 2500 now comes equipped with the power easy drop option for the tailgate press the button tailgate comes down simple enough right well your truck may come equipped with a power up option that allows you to raise the tailgate back up by using the key fob by holding the tailgate two inches above being parallel or pressing the button on the center stack where the entertainment system is and powering it up from there as well let me show you how you might use this to benefit you [Music] dang i forgot to shut my tailgate when i walked away from my truck now it's all the way over there what am i going to do you know justin with chevy know-how told me that i can shut my tailgate with my key fob let me try let me try now oh wow wow that was so convenient i would never have known as justin with chevy know how it never told me thanks justin you're awesome hidden feature number three we now have a camera integrated inside the view mirror to know if you have this feature grab the center tab pull down and a live camera feed from behind the truck should appear we're halfway through today's video and i want to stop real quick and just say thank you to everyone who's watching liking subscribing and commenting and a huge walk away and your doors lock automatically as long as you got this bad boy with you so what you're going to do you're going to go we're going to start on your home page we're going to go straight to our settings go up here to vehicle remote lock unlock and start scroll down until we see passive door lock click on passive door lock and you can choose you want it to chirp at you when it locks or do you just want it to lock and not make a noise we're going to turn it on with a chirp and now when we get out of the vehicle turn it off go inside at least walk 10 feet away from it with the key in our pocket these doors are going to lock and let us know they locked and we'll be all good the last of the five hidden features today is going to be the heads up display for anyone who is not familiar with the heads-up display what it does is it projects your speed your speed limit and your vehicle as it's departing from the left to right in the lane on the windshield directly in front of you to navigate through the heads-up display most vehicles are going to have it on the left side on the chevrolet is they're all right here in this general area silverado happens to be tucked in back here tahoe camaro all that right in this area right here the hud let me get a better view for you hud lets you control the height of the the heads-up display up and down with it information you can change what's in front of you if you just want the speed the departure the music whatever you like you can do it right there with this button and then the brightness if you didn't like it you can turn the brightness all the way down or of course all the way up if you can't ever having trouble seeing it and those are the five hidden features in your chevrolet vehicle that you probably didn't know about
