5 Awesome Class C RVs with No Slide Outs

are you looking for a class c rv with no slide outs well stick around we found some awesome ones and you're going to want to check them out hey everybody mike from rv blogger here in front of the camera and susan's behind the camera and today we're taking a look at class c rvs with no slide outs now why might you not want a slide out in your class c rv well one reason might be because you might be afraid it's just one more thing that can break we've all heard the stories of slide outs that slide on out and then they maybe get stuck and you can't get them back in and that's a bad situation especially if you have to drive or leave your campground and your slide out's stuck in the out position but the other reason you might not want to slide out is because if you're driving down the road you can't access the back of your rv sometimes when the slide outs are in they block off your access to the rest of the rv so there may be some other reasons you might not want to slide out all just enter your email and sign on up so without any further ado let's get started on our tour of class c rvs with no slide outs this class c rv is the thor freedom elite 22 he and this particular rv comes built on two different chassis they make it on a chevy chassis which is 24 feet 7 inches long and it's also built on a ford chassis which is 24 feet 1 inch long we happen to be in the ford chassis version right now now you'll notice towards the front of this class see it's got the classic over cab area where two people could sleep up here pretty comfortably this particular over cab is 54 inches deep and i'm sure it's going to be eight feet across because it spans the whole entire width eight feet across so you also notice up here you've got a nice big tv it's got a nice sturdy arm so that tv can swing out a little bit and then you're able to sit at your dinette area and watch tv from there now the dinette here has a nice oversized window right above the table the table does drop down and you can convert this into another bed and then there is also storage underneath of this side of the dinette uh bench now up top you have a really large storage cabinet up here so you can stow away a lot of stuff up top just above the dinette you'll notice that there are a couple of usb ports plus a little pocket to hold a cell phone or whatever else so i guess if the kids are laying up here in bed and they want to plug in to watch their phone or videos or play games they have a good place to do that now right across from the dinette is the kitchen area this is a nice in-line kitchen setup everything is right in line that you might need first of all you have a single ball sink with a nice faucet over top and this pulls out to be a separate sprayer above that we have a pretty good size storage cabinet then we have a regular microwave oven with some storage above that as we drop on down we have a third three burner range with an oven below and a nice big drawer for additional pots and pans there's also a bank of drawers here that pull out as well so you can store away utensils and things like that right next to the stove oven and microwave you have your refrigerator the refrigerator is a little bit on the small side in my opinion but good sized freezer and then below that they have additional storage so what they did is they made the refrigerator a little shorter so they could get some storage space underneath right across from the refrigerator as we're making our way towards the back we have a large mirror door wardrobe cabinet you can hang things up in there store things down below and then there's also a small drawer down here where you can store a few other things as well the bed back here is looks to be about this is about 54 inches wide 80 inches long so it's a i guess we would call that a full-size bed and then above it's got a lot of storage space up here plenty of lights so you can lay in bed and read and things like that the bathroom back here is a pretty good size i'm standing inside the shower right now and the ceiling height inside the skylight in the shower is a good six feet seven inches tall so plenty of plenty of head room here inside the shower then of course we have a medicine cabinet with a sink down below and storage underneath of that and then of course your commode this class c rv with no slide outs is the coachman freelander 27 qb model it is 29 feet 6 inches long and it sits on a ford e350 super duty chassis now at the front of this rv you'll notice that you've got a couple of really nice comfy bucket seats up here and i want to show this right off the bat because i love it when i see it i think that ford is figuring out when the dinette backs up to the driver's seat they have to cut this u-shape into the back of the dinette so you can back your chair up as much as possible to give you as much legroom as possible so stay tuned because we're gonna make a youtube video about me cutting out the back of our dinette so my seat can slide back ours doesn't have this feature anyway i just wanted to show that off real quick you'll notice in the over cab area it's nice and big you could easily sleep a couple of kids up here it's eight feet wide because it's the width of the entire rv and it's also 60 inches wide just short of 60. it's really like 58.59 but that's close to a queen size bed so pretty easy to sleep two people up top now there's another couple of nice features up here one is that it's got a little skylight that you can open so you can get some fresh air up here it also has a tv on a very sturdy arm that will swing out so you can either watch tv up here while you're laying in bed or the tv will swing out so that when you're sitting on the couch out here you can still see the tv also one other really nice feature and we've been looking for this for our over cab um not so much that the kids don't fall out of bed although we do camp with our grandson sometimes and he sleeps up here but we store things up here all the time when we're traveling so this has a pretty cool cargo net set up and you can just clip these right in place you know cinch it on up there and then this will keep either your kids or your cargo from falling out from up top so kind of a neat feature i haven't seen that before and they also have a ladder that just snugly attaches right here so you can climb up the ladder to get up and into the overcat so right behind the driver's seat areas we have the living and dining area i've already pointed out the dinette area here this dinette also converts into a bed and there's also a nice feature here which is a tether behind the seat so if you have a car seat in here you can actually tether the back of the car seat in which is a great feature and we wish we had that in our rv because sometimes again when we travel with our grandson we like to tether in his car seat uh massive storage cabinets above the dinette so plenty of storage here i like the way they did these glass doors just gives it a really nice touch and it looks nice and then on this side of the rv you've got a three seater sofa this jack knifes out into another bed and then you have an oversized window here too so you can get a really nice crossbeat breeze going in this rv okay so here i am standing in the kitchen and this is an l-shaped kitchen in this rv it has a uh what looks like a porcelain sink i'm not really sure what it's made of but it's a double bowl sink one side's larger than the other so it kind of has a vegetable sink nice big goose neck faucet over top i like this sort of edge along the counter top that way if you have a spill of any kind it doesn't go over the edge and down behind the dinette so that's a nice little built-in feature here kind of rolling around you have a three burner range here and then below that you have a couple of drawers that fully extend and then there's also some storage underneath of the kitchen sink up top here we have a regular microwave oven i'd like this to be a convection since we don't have an oven but in this model it just comes as a standard microwave oven now directly across from the cooktop and the microwave and all that stuff is the refrigerator and it's a very good sized refrigerator with a separate freezer up top so plenty of room for cold storage in here as we move on back through the rv they have the bathroom divided up which we really like i know susan really likes it a lot and so the shower's on one side but if somebody's taking a shower someone else can be using the bathroom or brushing their teeth or whatever so really great setup for that now this shower is kind of nice because the track on here bows out away from you and that keeps your shower curtain off of you so when you're taking a shower you don't you know you're not sticking to the shower curtain all the time it's good-sized shower in here let me get a get a measurement of the headroom i'm standing in the shower and there's like a skylight over my head and it has a total height of six feet six inches tall so for you taller guys should work out pretty well in here so here i am in the bathroom across the hall from the shower and it's a good size area i mean there's plenty of room on the commode to feel comfortable we have a large mirror a vanity sink with storage down below then there's a nice big storage cabinet here to my right and another one right above my head and a couple of towel hooks as well so here i am in the very back of this classy rv and i'm in the bedroom and as you can see it's a pretty roomy bedroom back here it stretches the whole side to side of the rv nice thing with this setup is you can get in and out of bed from both sides so that's a really nice feature and this is i believe a full queen it's 60 inches wide and 80 inches long so you have a full queen size bed back here which is terrific one other thing to note is you've got cabinets on each side of the bed these are wardrobe cabinets so you can hang things up then you have additional storage over top that's really nice and deep so you can store a lot of clothes up in here and then on each side of the bed this side has a drawer with a little bit of a nightstand right next to it there are receptacles up top a light overhead and then there's another charging station over top of the night table on that end as well one other feature that's really nice in here is that you have two windows that open and close back here so you can get a nice cross breeze and finally you have your tv location so you can mount a tv up here and watch tv while you're going to bed this class c rv is the jayco redhawk se 27n model it measures in at 30 feet 3 inches long but trust me the extra length in this is well worth it and you'll see why when you see the bedroom in the back but when you start up in the front you've got the classic over cab that we find in all class c rvs this thing is eight feet wide and 54 inches deep so two people can pretty easily sleep up here with no problem it's also got a tv up here that can swing on out so you can watch tv from either your couch or even part of your dinette in the living space now the couch is very nice and comfy this thing will jackknife out into a bed one person could sleep on that nice window over top and then additional storage over top of that as well and then right across from the sofa we have the dinette area and the dinette table can drop down so that this can become another bed for one person i love the oversized window over the dinette area and then they have even more storage over top of the dinette area here too we have a class crv ourselves and my biggest complaint is the driver seat can only go back as far as the dinette and then i'm stuck and i can't i know the seat can go back further it's just the the dinette prevents it from happening well jayco did a great job what they did is they cut out the back wall of the dinette that allows the driver's seat to move back as far as it can and then that gives the driver much more legroom up front so here i am in the kitchen area and this has a really nice l-shaped kitchen back here it's got a big double bowl sink with a gooseneck faucet a little bit of countertop space in this area and then when you turn the corner there's a two burner stove top above that we have a convection microwave oven because there is no oven in here but this serves as both so that's really terrific and then there's a nice size storage cabinet here also some additional storage above the convection microwave down below these drawers are the smoothest gliding drawers i've ever seen they fully extend and they're just as smooth as can be there's also some storage underneath of the kitchen sink right across from the kitchen you have your refrigerator and they did a nice job putting the cabinet panels on the refrigerator doors i love that look just makes it look so much nicer and then you have a very good size refrigerator with separate freezer and then you even get a little bit more storage above the fridge this pocket door separates the back half of the rv from the front half and this is where your bathroom is located they put the shower bath on one side or the shower on one side it's a pretty roomy shower i mean you could comfortably close the door have plenty of room to take a shower the headroom in here is pretty significant too because there's a skylight overhead and so you have a full six feet six inches of headroom inside the shower so here i am in the bathroom across the hall from the shower and the nice thing about this is someone can be taking a shower or somebody else can be over here using the bathroom or brushing their teeth or whatever they want to do anyway inside this bathroom it's a good size you'll notice a large medicine cabinet over top of the vanity the vanity itself has a good countertop space and there's storage underneath of the countertop and also the vanity sink so here i am inside the bedroom and then really nice thing about this bedroom is that you can get in and out of bed on both sides where a lot of classes you're sort of jammed in the back corner this bedroom spans the whole width of this camper so nice setup you've got all this storage around your bed as well you have a nice big wardrobe cabinet here with a couple of drawers underneath again these are really great gliding drawers that fully extend you have more storage space above and then a nightstand on the other side with a drawer that slides out there too now the bed size in here is 60 inches wide 74 inches long so it is a short queen bed but uh it certainly is very comfortable in here and roomy you'll also notice there's a window on each side in here so you can get a cross breeze blowing and the tv mounts on the wall just opposite the bed so you can lay in bed and watch tv this class c rv is the thor chateau 22 e model and it's 24 feet 1 inch long it sits on a ford e350 chassis and it's a great rv that is less than 25 feet long so it fits into most national parks and a lot of camping spots so it has its definite advantages for being on the smaller side now this class crv has the classic cab over like they all do and it's eight feet wide and let's see how deep it is it is 54 inches deep so you can still sleep two people up here very comfortably it's even got a couple of cup holders up here in the front corner and then there's a little ledge all the way up by the front wall so you can store your games and phone and things like that while you're sleeping at night on the other end of the cab it's got a nice big tv on a very sturdy arm so the tv can swing out and if you're sitting at your dinette you can watch tv from there or you can always watch tv if you're up in the cab at night us getting ready for bed now the dinette itself can very comfortably seat four people the table does drop down and this can become another bed for somebody one really cool feature i haven't seen this before but there's a wireless charger built right into the dinette table very cool feature and there's also a couple of cup holders here which we have built into our dinette because it's super easy to knock your cup over so it's great to have those in place in addition there's very very big storage cabinets overhead so you have lots and lots of storage up top right across from the dinette area we have the kitchen area and this is a nice in-line kitchen design everything's in a perfect line for you it's even got an extendable kitchen counter surface so you can have more countertop space in here it's got a single bowl sink it's not very big but it has a nice faucet overhead with a separate sprayer then it's got a three burner stove with an oven down below which is super nice and then below that it's got this additional drawer for pots and pans up above we have a regular microwave oven and then they have some extra storage over top of that as well right next to the cooktop and microwave you have your refrigerator with separate freezer now they made this refrigerator i guess a little shorter than normal it's not really tall but it's big enough but that also allows you to have additional storage space underneath directly across from the refrigerator you have a mirrored wardrobe cabinet and inside here you have plenty of space you have a bar to hang things from up top you can store things down bottom and there's a short drawer to store some more stuff as well so in the back of this class c you have your queen bed in the corner now one thing we've noticed about queen beds is that they used to come 60 inches wide ours is 60 inches wide but we have an older class c and it really makes the bathroom too small so what most of the manufacturers have done is made the bathroom six inches wider and the bed six inches less wide so this one as we expect is going to be 54 inches wide instead of 60 and then the length on it is 80 inches so you have the good length which you would need for a queen bed it's just not quite as wide i think we could still make this work just as easily though now overhead there are three big gigantic cabinets and they have tons of storage inside them there's also these cubbies that are built in and then just on the other side underside of the cubbies there are a couple of usb ports so here i am standing in the shower in this rv and the headroom in the shower since there's a skylight overhead is pretty good you've got about six feet eight inches in here so that's a pretty good amount of headspace for you taller guys that want to take a shower also in here you've got a very nice medicine cabinet vanity sink storage down below and then of course your commode this class c rv with no slides is the winnebago mini winnie model number wf325b it's 26 feet 4 inches long and i'm standing at the front of this rv right now by the driver's cab area and it's built on a ford chassis it's got two really nice comfortable bucket seats up here you also have a really big over cab where you could easily sleep two people up here in fact get a measurement on this thing for you it is 60 inches wide and it's a really really good space to get two people to sleep up here in addition the tv mounts up here as well and it's on a swing arm so you can swing it out a bit so that you can see it from the rest of the rv as we move back on through we have a nice couch right here behind the driver's seat this will pull out and become a jackknife sofa but the good thing is it's in a great position because you can sit here and watch the tv in the overcab area and then you've got a good amount of storage up top now they took these plastic wrappings off because the the mattress or some other part of this rv was wrapped up but you have good storage up here as well now right across from your sofa you have your dinette area this also can lower the table and become another sleeping spot for somebody in the rv and then they have even more storage over top of this as well this particular rv they went ahead and mounted a dvd player underneath this cabinet right next to the tv i like that a lot that's a really cool feature so behind the dinette in the sofa area we have a kitchen area here now this features a three burner stove even got an oven down below and then a regular microwave up top next to that you have a nice big cabinet with a shelf in the middle so lots of good storage up there this has a double bowl sink nice big faucet with a separate sprayer that pulls out and then down below full extension drawers that are nice and long and then more storage underneath of the sink right across from your kitchen sink is where your refrigerator is and this fridge comes with a separate freezer as well this class c has a corner bed set up we have this in our rv too so if you're both sleeping in here you just have to back out towards the end of the bed to get in and out of bed but it's not bad it's got storage over top really nice and big and deep storage up there whoa then there's a storage shelf over top of the headboard and a charging port off to the right let's see what size bed this is i believe it's 54 and it is 54 inches by 78 inches and a little bit of this is just cut off at the corner so you can get in and out of the bathroom uh one other cabinet to note is you do have a um wardrobe cabinet here so you can hang things up and on the other side of this wardrobe cabinet there's actually a tv mounted so you can lay in bed and watch tv here now right across from the bed is even a bigger wardrobe cabinet so lots of storage in there then a couple of full extension drawers down below so here i am in the bathroom standing in the shower as usual and it's a good sized bathroom in here one thing i really like about this shower is it's got the nautilus retractable shower door set up so this just pulls right out and retracts back in it's a really great shower door we really like it headroom in here is feels pretty good there's a skylight over my head so when you're standing inside the shower you've got like six feet eight inches of headroom the normal headroom throughout the rv is pretty good it's actually six feet 10 inches so good amount of head space from floor to ceiling throughout the entire rv and also in the shower now over top of the vanity it's got this oversized mirror then you have a vanity sink with storage down below and then it's got this corner cabinet set up which is really nice and you can store a lot of stuff in there and then last but not least elbow test if the door's shut i'm not going to have any room here but i've got room on this side of me so really not a bad bathroom setup at all so what did you think
