Tiny Class A Gas Motorhome! Jayco 26X

hey everyone i'm matt welcome back to another video today i am super excited we are taking a look at one of the smallest class a gas motorhomes that is a true class a that sits on what's called an f53 chassis this is the 2022 jayco alante model 26x we are gonna take a look at the outside features first then the inside features then we're gonna give you three things we love about the alante and three things we dislike about it we're starting in three two one hey everyone again welcome back to another video my name is matt from matt's rv reviews it's world toy channel giving you that true unbiased review about everything when it comes to rvs and again today i am super excited to be taking a look at this teeny tiny short classic gas motorhome the alante but before i begin i would like to say hi to andrea hey andrea hi everybody you look super nice today thank you very much i am at rv1 here in tampa yes and i'm super excited you guys alante is very special to me why is that it was the very very first motorhome i ever sold andrea actually sold the first 26x ever in the country ever in production yes yes so it's very special and yeah so if you're wondering why we're dressed up matt yeah why don't you tell everybody well because um rv1 and airstream of tampa airstream tampa's down there they just won the award for the number one airstream dealership in the country so they invited us out so i had to run to the store and take a picture guys you won't see this all yes congratulations to rb1 rv of tampa or airstream of tampa airstream of tampa yes model is j coalante 26x the actual tip to tip length of this motorhome is 28 feet 5 inches this is tiny for a class a motorhome and what i do love as small as it is look at that big windshield right there 120 inch windshield super wide the jayco allante is the sister product to the integra coach vision now most floor plans here's what's interesting the 27a the 29f the 29v the 29s you can get them in both elantes and visions but the 26x is only available in the alante line which is kind of interesting we do got the chrome going on right there and very nice headlights coming on down the side here we do got mirrors black mirrors on both sides with cameras integrated in the left side right side in reverse because this is a 2022 it does have the all new 7.3 liter v8 it is the godzilla engine 350 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque and then look at these tires andrea they're the good years 245-70 are 19.5 i love those yeah i love those shiny rims and then here we do have some storage because this is a j-code they do give you the two-year warranty three-year structural warranty you can see that we do have frameless windows throughout this whole motorhome it's a very small amount yeah look how small it is and then you do have a decent sized awning for how small this motorhome is also because this is a jayco they uh upfit the chassis with the j-ride which is a computer balanced drive shaft system and uh coney shocks check this out nice big insignia tv furion sound system dvd player and everything what do you should we give a shout out to jamie yes hey jamie hi jamie he's to be so proud that we're selling we're not selling but we're showing jacob i know pass through so jamie's a jayco rep and he told me he was like matt i had to stop watching your videos because he was help helping the channel he can start watching again very nice storage right there we've known jamie for a while nice guy right here do have a water heater okay instant hot tank tankless water heater and then here andreas your propane tanks and a batteries with your slide-out trays and then andrea right here bing here's all the specs about the motorhome a little bit more storage there interesting coming around the back andrea we do have a nice bumper for your stinky slinky 7 500 pound no 5 000 pound hitch this motorhome can tow 5 000 pounds you do have your backup camera there also there is a ladder to get up on the one piece fiberglass roof because i got nice looking look at my shoes slick shoes i'm not going to climb up on the roof today okay i'm good with that finishing up 30 amp service here it is here oh right here's your fuel fill up this is where you're going to be able to dump your black and gray tank very nice [Music] right here plenty of storage very nice clean wet bay exactly exactly and i love the steam latch doors other side of the pass-through yes yes yes and then here's your generator it is a common zone in 4000 generator i love that it's vented yes very nice and more storage a ton of storage on this thing for me it's so small it's very tiny you guys i'm just gonna show one more time very cute well andre the outside of the 26x looks great but the inside looks even better let's go take a look what's the matter oh there he goes he's skipping into his shoes cargo carrying capacity is 1262 pounds okay here we go slide is in everybody and the ac is on thank goodness okay okay look at this as you can see look at this walkway with the slide in there's plenty of room okay so the bed does fold and here is the bathroom now andrea while the slide-outs coming out again we want to give absolutely make sure you mention that you guys and they will take care of you but look at this with the slides out now this is incredible for being such a small motor home it's super super spacious andrea let's get started up here so up here in the cockpit area as you can see and even with the inside you know very integral-like or it's an integral like a jayco right here we have our cup holders equalizer system all your lights and controls are right here got slow rice shades right there yes ma'am nice steering wheel you got your camera right here where you're able to see left side right side in reverse your um your radio player and everything place for you to put your cell phones up here and then you got your cup holders yes yes apple carplay android auto and everything oh okay guys very nice i love this super nice super nice i'm not intimidated i like that i have a workstation here yes i got a place for my phone cup holder okay we've got a electrical outlet here absolutely we also have some cabinets up here everybody show us andreas show us two over here yep now something that i will comment on andre and i were short yes but if you're tall your head could be hitting this bunk over the cab yeah both seats do swivel everyone okay there's a pedestal table that goes here very nice and then you have two cabinets over here so we'll take a look at this oh sorry i lied yeah hidden cabinet and we got the bunk over the cab which holds 750 pounds andrea 750 pounds it is huge you got this um you have a ladder under here you got your table stored under here and then this is like little side railings and this is good that it has that spring there because it makes it more comfortable to sleep on yep it's very nice and then as you can see i do want to point out matt real quick talk to you but i'd love this a lot of times on motorhome doors you do not have the blinds here so i like that they have that and there is a cabinet up here yep and as you can see they did the farmhouse book yes the allante i love it your panel up there and then over here we do got very nice storage above okay very nice i love the led light above the slide what about the valances do you love those i do not okay just testing you right here we do have the slow rise shades and then this sofa here it's nice and it's a jackknife so okay you know it you know what it appears it appears to be a little bit of a smaller sofa it does i noticed that yup yup like i couldn't tell until i jackknifed it um that it is a little bit smaller and here's what is nice is that i am looking directly across at where the tv is now the tv's right there again guys this is a small motor home they gotta they gotta cram it in when they can and then right over here is the dinette andrea very nice dinette there is storage underneath the seats very big window those windows do open as well which is a very nice feature this drops down to make a bed you got the cup holders in the dinette and you can see that there is some seat belts right there it's good that they gave you the slow ride shades as well yeah they're there well andre do you know what time it is it's now time for the msrp okay msrp on this jayco 26x here is 147 077 msrp andrea sale price that we're experimenting with rv1 they want me to give you guys a sale price what of 118 900. and listen guys don't call three months later and say matt said 118.9 that's for this unit here so if you're interested in this unit and you want to get it at that price shoot they might even be able to do a couple dollars better i don't even know here's what i do know eight one three six five nine zero zero zero eight give them a call tell them you saw the smallest class a gas motorhome the 26 axle mats rv reviews and they're going to take amazing care of you uh it doesn't matter what price they're able to get it to you at the the service before during and after sale is top notch here and i know that you're in good hands let's continue the video okay wow look at this okay so this is a very interesting kitchen everybody talk to me all right we got a cabinet up here very nice um yes the tv is here you got the backsplash here i do notice that we got a tower power hey now that's a nice tower of power right there we've got a rectangle sink very nice okay and then they gave you an extension thank you i'm sorry all right under here i love this led lights yes we've got cabinet under here and we've got four drawers wow very nice size look at that very nice okay above here got another cabinet everyone good good we've got a microwave good size yup got a little window they gave you mini blinds okay okay we've got a what is the safe yuri on yes three what is it three burner cooktop yes it's okay and we got the blue lights i like that and we got the oven i'm glad they gave you an oven yes nice big drawer there and then we got the two-way refrigerator that runs off your shore power and your propane i love that okay so now this is interesting yep so i'm gonna go over here first yes i guess i could say this would be the pantry yes you could use this as pantry you've got two drawers here and then another cabinet here an accordion door here everybody notice how it shuts off that way it does and it gets the color changes here which is pretty interesting oh okay okay gives you separation you got a wardrobe here yeah now this would definitely be for wardrobe and then you got two nice sized drawers here yes ma'am very nice now the bathroom here we go now here we go good size for being such a small motor home yes got a big step up it's a 24 by 36. everybody knows i prefer the 30 by 36. um and actually with how big this bathroom is they definitely could have done that i was thinking i was thinking it could have been different yeah because it is space space but it is what it is and it's a nice shower nice medicine cabinet do you have that little sink sponges and a cabinet and then over here you've got a window and uh those toilets caddy corner porcelain porcelain all right shut the door real quick please just barely passed andrea this is a prime pooping position well let me tell you something it was close it was supposed to bump in my legs i wanted to see it myself so uh then finishing up in the bedroom area it's got a queen size yes queen size bed nice window here nice headboard with the side windows in house look nice cross ventilation over there with both windows great storage some cabinets so nice and yes they did give you like a little nightstand at least okay okay and i believe on the other side as well matt uh yep little nightstand so interesting yeah they got over here is where you could mount your tv has the coax electrical outlet nice window and a max air fan i love it well andrea as much as i love it and as great as it is and as nice as it is it's now time we give everybody three things we love about theolante and three things we don't like about it andrea what do we do first let's do three things we dislike about it okay oh you want to go first i'm gonna go first because i have two i might have all three dislikes i'm really gonna go okay you go first this is incredibly hard for me to get to um i don't know does it seem like it's higher to you it's it cut yeah i'm getting that oh yeah i'm getting it because i mean even me i'm like average probably on the shorter but not that short right for me i i would have a really hard time getting stopping that is kind of weird back in there and yeah it just is very tall okay okay that is my dislike that's number one yes i do have a number two okay right here andrea as much as i love the sofa across from the tv if somebody's in the kitchen they're blocking you yes true what can you do though it is very strange yep it is a small motorhome and that's what it's all about and it's one of those things if you want that small compromise right you know you can get into state national parks in this yep exactly so that's number two and then andre number three is there is no real door to close off the bedroom okay it's just this so the bedroom's kind of out exposed to the living room and i'm gonna say for 99 of the time that's okay but that one percent of time when you do have gas you do have families you know what i'm saying it could be an issue yes i agree that's three things we don't like about it andrea now it's time for three things we love about this motorhome oh you're raising your hand together first again go again go girl okay so i love how small this is yes i love the fact that this is small yeah like i said you can get state national parks so what's so nice about it is when this slide was in there was so much room yes there was so much room that i could walk through and i had plenty of space i'm gonna combo that i'm gonna combo that because even with the slide out out it now there is more space absolutely so that's a very very nice feature what you're like okay if you can't that's number one you know what i'm gonna let you go again okay give me number two uh what i like about this i love jayco's quality um i love the fact that even though you have a small motorhome you still got the bunk over the cab which is extremely it's a great size yeah for how small this is yeah a lot of times when you're going into smaller motor homes you will see smaller beds yep and you know you can barely even fit one kid up there i got it so the fact that they gave you this is awesome andrea i got number three okay i had to think on it because i wanted to make it a good one okay here's what i love kind of going on number one this is one of the truly smallest classic ass motorhomes on the market today what makes a class a gas motorhome a class a is the fact that it's built on an f53 chassis okay and part of the problem with a lot of motor homes like the very first one that was ever sold was sold by andre and the guy was six foot four yes he was really tall he was very tall uh you guys saw him in the picture but he he wanted a 26-footer he wanted something small for state national parks but he could not physically fit in a class c motor will cannot fit in a classy motorhome um there's so many people that just can't fit in that e-series chassis with this it's big enough it's long enough you set this back and tall people but not only tall people average size people can fit in this and sit in it and i've even known of people like adjusting this to make the seat a little bit farther back that way they're not super cramped driving so the driving experience is comfortable combined yes with the 120 inch windshield absolutely and that was one of my biggest selling points too is this windshield yup it's a huge windshield all you're driving down seeing america uh getting a
