what if your arthritis could drastically improve or even reverse in just 120 days what if your joint pain inflammation is partly due to how close you're living to your local highway what if you could decrease your pain by 90% by just incorporating one simple food into your diet what if you can actually alleviate joint pain by smacking your joints with a certain plant we're going to discuss all of this and much more in this video [Music] I'm going to show you five natural remedies that have been proven to help and even reverse arthritic type symptoms number one hydrotherapy and I'm actually going to demonstrate it on myself because I happen to have a little bit of joint pain in my right wrist I get a flare-up every once in a while usually when I'm using the computer a lot and it's because in a previous life my very first professional choice was to be a professional snowboarder and so I was snowboarding really hard I took a lot of hard spills and in this video clip you could actually see that to me because of this I've accrued a lot of little injuries and one of them being in my right wrist in particular now what is hydrotherapy you might be thinking all it is is the application of hot and cold water on the body it's so simple but people many people do not realize the tremendous healing power there is in manipulating the blood through the application of hot and cold water on the body so here's how you do hydrotherapy I'm gonna use the example of applying it to my wrist I've been having the arthritic type pain in my wrist recently and so I'm going to show you how to do it as if you had wrist or it could even be hand joint pain so first you want to start with hot and so I have a bucket bucket of hot water here and you pretty much want to get it as hot as you possibly can and this is pretty hot water and what you want to do is just submerge it and let it sit in there for three minutes so I'm going to set a timer three minutes and it's just gonna sit in there for three minutes and you want this to get nice and hot all right so three minutes is up now I'm gonna just submerge it the whole hump my whole hand here into this bucket of cold and you want to have it in this bowl of cold water for one minute and so what we're doing is with the hot water it was drying all the blood all the circulation to the to this area and the cold is we're pulsing it away and so this drawing repulsing drawing we're pulsing action is very very therapeutic for inflammation for any arthritic type area and so we're gonna give this one minute okay whew that's cold so right back into the hot four again three minutes but you know what this hot isn't quite as hot as I would like it so what I'm doing it at the stove here is because I have I knew this was gonna happen this always happens the hot cools off so I want I got water that I had just boiled here and I want I need to warm this pot up to get it as hot as I can stand it without burning or hurting myself so oops and so yeah there it is that's really really hot so we're gonna sit in here for another three minutes and one important point here is if you have neuropathy and you don't have complete feeling in any of your limbs don't do this treatment use one of the other treatments because you could potentially burn yourself or freeze yourself so keep that in mind all right that was my last application of hot you want to do three of hot when three of cold but you want to finish with cold and I just stick it in here for maybe 20 seconds or something like that I don't want to necessarily freeze it or chill it like we did it for the whole minute but you want to generally end with cold that's the advised and the best way to do it and by this time your limb your hand whatever you're doing is gonna feel very very interesting it's gonna feel kind of stimulated and kind of numb at the same time in a strange kind of a way so there it is that is hydrotherapy I use this treatment all the time and it works incredible and it's last time I did this which was a few days ago it took my joint pain away by probably like 90% it's very very effective treatment I hope you try it castor oil using castor oil all toises now castor oil is mostly made of something called res Olynyk acid and the molecules and res lenok acid are extremely small they're very small and because they're so small they're able to penetrate very deep into the deep layers of the skin as well as deep into lymphatic tissue which is also really cool castor oil has been used for over 3,500 years they actually found an ancient Egyptian papyrus text where it describes Egyptian doctors using castor oil on patients it has very strong anti-inflammatory properties it's very soothing to inflamed areas has very strong anti pain properties and also this is really cool it has the ability to dissolve stones and spurs deep under the surface of the skin and this actually has been proven regarding gallbladder stones that was shown in a study castor oil was mixed with several other things in it they dissolved a gallbladder stone using an application of this it also works however with bone spurs it works with gout it works with kidney stones it dissolves things under the surface helps arthritis so let me show you how to use castor oil how to actually put make a poultice and put it on yourself alright so this is how you do a castor oil poultice so this is castor oil right here and doesn't have to be fancy just pure quality and what you want to do is you want to get like an old t-shirt or something like that just tear a portion off of it and that's gonna be the surface that you put the castor oil on and so you want to get that to put the castor oil on additionally you want to get something like this I really highly recommend it this kind this press and seal Saran type wrap and you want to get a section of that because this cast oil is very very sticky and you do not want this stuff to get put on your clothes on your sheets anything like that all you do just want to take this piece of cloth here then you want to just really fill it with castor oil about that much and you want to make sure it soaks it in really nicely into the material so you kind of Pat it put it together like that make sure you got a decent base of castor oil you want to make sure you don't have anything dripping like you see it's trying to drip there in the center just want to really kind of put that into the material and then you want to put it down on your strand wrap and again I'm gonna do my arthritic wrist okay hear that popping there yeah so I'm talking about so what we're trying to take care of and just put it right on the wrists and the areas that are affected wrap it up and then I got another section here or that old t-shirt that I used I just rabbit nice and decently tight and you don't want to cut off your blood circulation you just want to make sure it stays in place you just don't want this castor oil getting anywhere on your clothes if you're gonna sleep with it throughout the night you don't like getting on your bedsheets definitely all right so you kind of tuck this back now I got my castor oil poultice on me nice and tight now to activate it even more to increase enhance its effectiveness and how deep it goes into your skin you want to apply something hot to this and so one thing that you could easily do is get one of these you've probably seen these water bottle type things at Rite Aid or CVS and you just fill it with hot water you know put the cap on it and just sit somewhere and you just want to hold it have it sit on the top like that just to stay nice and warm I recommend doing this overnight it's a great way to do it and to you know several hours that you could just be having this on there and it's not really not really conscious so it's not bothering you and that's how you do castor oil poultice is really simple so what's the frequency how often do you need to do this castor oil poultice to get the desired effect so there's several schedules out there that you could use the traditional one is having it on for one to two hours at a time and doing it for three days in a row so one to two hours three consecutive days then taking four days off and then doing a rotation of this every week for about two to three months that's more traditional schedule another schedule which is a little bit more aggressive which I kind of lean towards is having on for five hours a day and doing it five days in a row so five days a week five hours and you can also just put it on overnight to sleep with it if you wrap it real well and don't allow it to bleed out and get into your bed but also it's often improved by heat and you could use cayenne pepper with it but when it comes to inflammation if you have inflamed joints be careful using heat just really your body will let you know if it's not a good idea if it starts making your pain and inflammation a lot worse but application of heat has often been beneficial stinging nettle remember that plant I told you about in the beginning that you could tap on an infected area and it would bring relief in just minutes that's stinging now and stinging nettle has these little while stingers these little hairs that contain high levels of something called local trans as well as histamine and with these two compounds it brings relief sometimes in minutes when you tap it on let's say your wrist is all swollen or your joints and your hands are swollen or some part of your body it can bring relief in just minutes as a matter of fact in 1998 study looking at the benefit of nettle leaf extract in 9,000 patients with osteoarthritis so this is the wear and tear to kind of joint pain and rheumatoid arthritis found this after a three week period 82% of patients believe that their treatment had relieved their symptoms 26% no longer required to take the anti-inflammatory drugs and 38% said that they were willing to reduce their drug therapy not just that it's been shown to reduce inflammatory compounds in the body and so let me show you how to use this wonderful plant actually there's some growing near to where we live so I'm gonna show you actually how to use this so where you find stinging nettle is typically by rivers so see behind me there's a river and stinging nettles one of those plants that likes a lot of water I'm gonna show you right here how to actually use this to alleviate joint pain okay so this is it right here and if you look real close at the stinging nettle you could see it's got a bunch of well stingers all around it and those stingers have the healing properties in it and so all you need to do is pull back your sleeve and you know whatever joint you you're dealing with that's when you apply it to you just tap it lightly and you'll feel it stinging you that's it and I already immediately I feel the stinging sensation going on that's also going to bring the healing properties and this is how you use stinging nettle to alleviate joint pain now if you don't feel the stinging sensation from just tapping it then that means you actually need to whack it some sources suggest like really whacking the joint or the inflamed area with this and so you just want to do it really put pressure on there and you want what you want is you want to feel the stinging sensation and also it's really good antihistamine dry it out make a tea out of it you deal with allergies excellent so now I want to show you how to use ginger poultice is because it has been known to cool inflammation out of the joint up towards the skin so how you start you want to get a knob of ginger about an inch and a half to two inches in length and make sure it's washed and all you do is get a cheese grater and you want to look for the fine setting you want the fine blades on the cheese grater and just simply start grading away and you're going to grade this ginger really really fine now ginger is incredible it's one of the best anti-inflammatory herbs out there it's even equivalent to turmeric any inflammation in any joint area we're talking arthritis back pain gout both internally and externally ginger is good for that it's good for any inflammation and joint areas and so you want to continue grating until you have finished your ginger and have ground it down to a really fine substance and just a close-up view of it you can see what it looks like here you have fibers you're gonna have the fresh inside ginger I just add it all at one bunch scoop it all to one area and so what you want to do now is get all that ginger into one clump into one area and then you want to have prepared ahead of time you want to get a old some some cotton cloth preferably an old t-shirt is the material that seems to work best for this and you want to lay that out on your cutting board here and simply place your clump of ginger on one end of that t-shirt that old cut t-shirt and that t-shirt should be about the six to eight maybe even nine ten inches in width and then you want it to be quite long so it'll have wrapping capabilities and then you're going to wrap the ginger wrap the t-shirt around the ginger and you want to make sure as you do this that one surface of this cotton t-shirt material is just one layer now everything behind that I'm just going to keep folding in place so on the other side there's going to be a portion of the t-shirt was just one t-shirt layer thick that is in front between the ginger and the t-shirt and so you can see right here there's the ginger and you see I got one side it's a bunch of holds and on the other side just got one t-shirt layer between your skin and the ginger next you want to get this glider wrap press and seal stuff and I highly recommend the press and seal brand it's got these little tiny suction cups that makes it super super sticky without actually being sticky like glue but just it's a really cool product and we use it all the time for poultices you simply want to place your ginger poultice now around your wrist or whatever area I'm going to illustrate the wrist here get this fly wrap here this president still glad wrap without messing things up too much you just simply wrap it around your wrist and you see how it just sticks to the skin that's why we love this stuff it's so good and really you could probably leave it like that but on top of that you want just to be safe get an ace bandage or maybe another cut of old cotton t-shirt and just wrap it around to hold it in place and that's it and lastly we'd like to ask God to bless our poultices and our whatever treatments that we do because we believe he's the one that actually gives these things its healing power and properties and so I would just like to invite you to say a prayer over your poultice ask God to bless it Lord I would like to ask that he would bless the poultices of everyone who tries them after watching this video now I had a sore back at the time that I was filming this and so I actually wanted to put this your poultice on my back and so let me show you how you would do that so you would get a much larger cotton old t-shirt type material maybe a foot foot and a half even two feet wide and you want to lay out lay it out on the bed with your ginger poultice with the glad wrap under the ginger poultice so you got the t-shirt material the glad wrap and then the ginger poultice and so what you want to do is you want to set that on such a manner on the bed that when you sit you could just lie back on it and it will be right in the spot in your lower back where you need it to be and then just pull one end of that old t-shirt material over your stomach and then the other half over the other part and you want to have some safety pins handy and you just safety pin it on there and this especially is better to do at night because this kind can really have a difficult time sticking on your back it gets slide down and you don't want ginger and your shorts and you're gonna find the skin is going to get really hot where the ginger is it goes in waves as long as you could handle it keep it on there some people with arthritis say it feels good some people don't like it and they need to take it off it'll never actually burn the skin but the heat is indicative that there is a lot of inflammation under that joint omega-3 omega-3 fatty acids these have been proven to drastically help rheumatoid arthritis specifically but everything I'm going to discuss I believe also would apply to any joint pain based on inflammation from an autoimmune condition so lupus fibromyalgia there's several others these also pertain as well there are many studies that have clearly proven this notice this one right here ingestion of dietary supplements of n3 that's omega-3 fatty acids has been consistently shown to reduce both the number of tender joints on physical examination and on the amount of morning stiffness and patients with rheumatoid arthritis it goes on to say we examine the clinical status of patients after they had stopped receiving declaw panic that's the medication they're taking but continue to receive fish oil or corn oil the improvement of the number of tender joints was significant and we observed a significant decrease in interleukin 1 interleukin 1 that's an inflammatory component in the body and so not only in these quotes did you notice that these omega-3s reduce the number of tender joints as well as morning stiffness but also people did better on omega-3s than on their medication that they were taking and so right here we have observed evidence that these are effective even more than medication so why do a mega threes work let me show you why they took a look at these and Omega threes is comprised of several different types of components EPA DHA ala they looked at EPA and found that the fatty acids and EPA inhibits the production of chemicals that promote inflammation in the body and not just any chemical specific ones that are known to cause the pain in rheumatoid arthritis now I'll put up a slide you can see the inflammatory compounds that's omega threes suppress and therefore bringing down joint pain so how do you apply this information how do you take this well a lot of these studies were using fish oil now I actually recommend against using fish oil why several reasons reason number one mercury heavy metals nearly all seafood contains some amount of heavy metals especially mercury and there is no safe amount of mercury and if you have arthritis you also don't want to have heavy metal toxicity on top of that also me is acid forming we're gonna get into that when we talk about the diets there's other risks for instance heart disease did you know that when it comes to cholesterol this might shock you fish is worse than snake I'll repeat that when it comes to cholesterol fish is worse than steak steak coming in at 79 milligrams of cholesterol per 3 ounces fish coming in at 88 milligrams bass and particularly bass 88 milligrams per 3 ounces higher than steak also other studies found that fish oil isn't necessary notice this several studies have found that a wider range of omega-3s will reduce inflammation fish oil only had modest results but corn oil actually performed better plant sources have over 10 times more omega-3s than fish oil ounce per ounce and flaxseed is also very effective and reducing joint inflammation and finally even though plant sources contain primarily only ala when you eat a plant-based diet you get just as much BPA and DHA because the conversion rate of ala to epa and DHA in the body happens more rapidly in the bodies of those eating a plant-based diets than other people therefore you end up getting just as much APA and DHA as fish eaters now how much do you have to take and how long do you have to take it for the study thankfully answered that question for us they address this says this it appears that dietary supplements containing three to six grams of n 3 fatty acids are sufficient so how much did you take 3 to 6 grams okay so what does that actually look like let me demonstrate that for you so three grams of omega-3s is equivalent to two tablespoons of ground flaxseed now the figures online fluctuate but two tablespoons is pretty much the average figure that you'll see if you really wanted to maximize your Omega P dosage flaxseed oil has 7 grams of omega-3s per one tablespoon so it's very potent another really amazing plant source of omega-3s is Chia about one ounce or two tablespoons of chia gives you 5 grams of omega-3 fatty acids now you could grind these you can make some into your smoothies or hot cereal but she is a great just eating it like chia pudding or putting it in drinks to other sources walnuts quarter cup of walnuts will give you 2 grams of omega-3s and about one ounce of cashews that's about 18 cashews will give you 1 gram of omega-3s some other plant sources of omega-3s are soy beans Clee seaweed Brussels sprouts spinach they don't have nearly as much but they're plant-based sources of omega-3s that are definitely worth incorporating in the diet so instead of taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatories you can just be eating chia pudding how about that pretty awesome okay so we answered the how much question now how long the study also answered this question notice what it says clinical benefits of the n3 fatty acids were not apparent until they were consumed for greater than or equal to 12 weeks that would be about 84 days okay so now we're done with the natural remedies now let's deal with the diet remember this is extremely important all those remedies are going to be useless if you don't apply the dietary portion of addressing arthritis as well so let's start by focusing on rheumatoid arthritis now I'm focusing in rheumatoid arthritis but lupus fibro those other ones also everything I'm going to share right here is going to apply to those as well and also will bring relief to those as well now let's first ask ourselves a question why does rheumatoid arthritis even happen let's take it from a textbook source let's go to the Arthritis Foundation rheumatoid arthritis RA is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the joints this creates inflammation that causes the tissue that lines the inside of the joints the synovium to thicken resulting in swelling and pain in and around the joints so a really great description of what rheumatoid arthritis is but the question now is what causes the immune system to start attacking the tissue around the joints and in fact also the synovial you know one thing you're going to see over and over is we don't know it's not well understood we we're not sure why but you're going to see I'm going to show you information from studies bringing out that we have a pretty clear idea why this attack is happening now here's our first clue I'd like to start with a quote from a 1999 study in the Journal of Clinical Investigation looking at rheumatoid arthritis they made a very profound observation what they found despite this rich blood supply the rheumatoid synovium remains a rather inhospitable environment marked with hypoxia that's oxygen deficiency and acidosis that's being too acidic okay so what did they say they found as a marked feature of the synovium of a rheumatoid arthritis patient versus a normal person what were the two features one the synovium was deficient in oxygen number two it was acidic the way it was an acidic environment two very very important things these are our first clue now why is this important you realize this is important when you understand and answer the question well what is synovial fluid where does that stuff come from where is it derived from let's get a textbook answer of what synovial fluid is synovial fluid is an ultra filtrate from plasma that contains proteins derived from the blood plasma and proteins that are produced by cells within the joint tissues and interstitial fluid filtered from the blood plasma where does synovial fluid come from it's derived largely from your blood blood plasma so here's the question if your blood is toxic if your blood is deficient in oxygen if your blood is acidic what's your synovial fluid going to be like healthy no your synovial fluid is also going to be toxic that's going to be deficient in oxygen it's gonna be acidic and so the idea is every time we move our joints and blood is going in and out of those joints and so the blood is key blood health is key to joint health bad blood is going to equal bad joints it's that simple and so osteoarthritis rheumatoid arthritis lupus joint inflammation is a huge contributing factor is bad blood so let me just kind of summarize this for you bad blood equals joint pain bad blood equals joint pain because blood is like the oil that helps these joints move now remember I said in the beginning what if your arthritis could drastically improve or even reverse in just 120 days I'm going to revisit that now how long does it take for you to create new red blood cells how long do red blood cells last 120 days so theoretically if one of the main causes of joint pain and rheumatoid arthritis is toxic blood then if we change the conditions of the body and do things to stimulate creating good pure clean healthy blood then in a hundred and twenty days we should be able to drastically improve or even reverse joint pain and inflammation and rheumatoid arthritis now this is more than a theory this has actually happened and I want to show that to you the question we have to first ask is how does blood get sick how does it get depleted in oxygen how does it get a sick let's first deal with the acidity blood gets acidic because of what we eat and drink blood gets acidic because of what we eat and what we drink now our blood pH should be somewhere between seven point three four and seven point four so it's a very narrow window it's a very narrow range as a matter of fact if your blood drops down to seven point two two you go into a coma and you potentially die of acidosis and so it's very serious to have good blood pH of balanced pH in your blood so the body is always striving to achieve what's called homeostasis to try and get that balance of good blood pH now we want therefore we want to know what foods drive that blood pH down what foods make our blood acidic let me give you a list of five foods very popular foods that are known only 100 percent no these make blood acidic number one meat number two wheat that's a modern hybrid hybridized wheat three dairy for alcohol five coffee all of these drop down the blood acidity level making the blood acidic now let me deal with meat in particular meat has something in it called purines and when you digest purines it produces a waste product that you're probably familiar with called uric acid and uric acid is not something good to have in your body it's a matter of fact a buildup of uric acid and these are the stearic acid is a crystalline it's a crystal type substance it can get into the joints in a good cause some situations like gout because our through itis it could cause rheumatoid arthritis as well and so as a matter of fact it was found that they were able to induce arthritis and pigs in just one week by putting them on a high-protein diet which is a meat-based diet and it's very bizarre that the diet that's touted to treat autoimmune diseases is the Paleo diet why because that's a high meat diet and yes it has some other things you're supposed to focus on veggies and other things so it's got those other things to balance it out but the high-end meat is going to create acidity in the blood so it's very strange but mate weight dairy alcohol caffeine all are acidic that caused the blood to become acidic and when we ingest these foods it drops our blood acid level so what does the body do because remember the body wants to achieve that homeostasis it doesn't want us the host to the die and go into a coma and so when these foods are ingested the blood acidity drops and the body says hey we got to do something we have to bring the blood acidity up so what does it do it gets something alkaline to put into the blood to help balance out that blood acidity and the most alkaline substance it can grab is calcium and where does it get that calcium it goes to the bones and it leeches calcium out of the bones to bring it into the blood to balance out the pH and it does the job it works but it captain's at a cost you see when it comes in it comes in as calcium phosphates and this the crystal form of calcium neutralizes the blood acid but now we have free-floating crystal calcium going throughout the blood and this is very problematic because if it ends up on the bones it can get deposited as a bone spurs if it gets into the joints it could create arthritis and gout you know the kidneys it'll lead to kidney stones in the gallbladder it'll eat the gallbladder stones all because of this calcium that's in the blood due to eating an acidic diet now I've already shown you remedies that helps deal with these different stones but stones and spurs that was castor oil but if you're eating a diet you're really just treading water if you're eating a diet that's continually making acidic blood and yours gonna be going through castor oil and you're really not gonna get anywhere now you might be thinking well wait a minute dairy was on that list didn't we see commercials saying that dairy was really good for the bones that was a big lie now the truth is dairy is high in calcium but is also high in animal proteins and animal proteins when it comes into the body and the body's trying to use it as fuel it's a very dirty burning fuel as a matter of fact only 58% is burned as fuel and 42% as left as an acid sulfuric wastes the body has to deal with that acid sulfuric wastes because that's gonna drop the blood acidity right therefore what's it do it uses the calcium that was in the milk to balance out the acidity that comes from the animal proteins of the using of the animal proteins leaving virtually no calcium for the body and in many instances actually leaving you at leaving you at a deficit still needing more calcium causing the body to leach more calcium from the bones to take care of that acid sulphuric waste so in the end it's going to leave the blood more acidic even though it has calcium in it well perhaps you're thinking well if I'm not gonna get my calcium from milk where else should I get it from consider this a glass of milk has less calcium than a 1/4 cup of sesame seeds and sesame seeds are fantastic you do a lot of wonderful things on our website reverse aah Damien calm my wife has put up a vegan parmesan recipe made primarily from sesame seeds so you could go there go to the recipes page and you could find that on Riverside immune calm another food that we want to address when we're dealing with rheumatoid arthritis or any arthritic condition is night shades light shades are good for most people but very problematic to people who are prone to arthritic conditions especially rheumatoid arthritis one research study found that 85% of patients found that they were benefited when they stopped using night shades that's a significant figure there was a doctor by the name of dr. Norman chowder's and he came out with a book called the childish diets now dr. childís himself struggled with inflammation and arthritis and he started experimenting on himself and he started noticing something that when he had eliminated night shades he did better and so he started testing it on patients and had fantastic results as a matter of fact in his book he's got testimony after testimony after testimony of both osteoarthritis patients and rheumatoid arthritis patients that were just getting better and having drastic reduction in their pain and inflammation according to him some of them leaving their canes walkers and wheelchairs we're getting up and just having a normal life again and so eliminating nightshades is something that you definitely want to look into if you're struggling with arthritis now it may not have to be forever you really have to test it to your situation some people can add some in some people can't add any in some it just depends on your situation but I would not add any in until blood work is showing that your inflammation is down low and that would be your sedimentation rate or your c-reactive protein on your blood tests now also when it comes to arthritis we want to talk about digestion so remember the quality of our blood has a lot to do with the quality of our diet judgin so our digestion has to be healthy if we're gonna have healthy blood so if you have SIBO if you have acid reflux if you have GERD any of these situations you have to address and deal with these situations because it's gonna be very difficult for you to have good blood with these situations because you you your body your your intestine your stomach needs to break down the food into its smaller constituents the building blocks to go in through the gut to nourish the body I'll put out a video in the near future about how to deal with these conditions using natural means as well but a good question is well how are these acid forming proteins getting into the bloodstream to begin with the answer is through a leaky gut through holes of holes in your gut permeable gut and a leaky gut a damaged gut is the foundation of virtually every autoimmune condition and so we have to address the leaky gut what we're talking about autoimmune diseases now how do we avoid leaky gut what's the diet that we eat to keep ourselves from getting that well the good thing is if you avoid those foods that make you acidic you're essentially going to be avoiding the foods that also cause leaky gut meat dairy wheat so forth plus or minus a few other things I have a videos just talking about leaky gut you're welcome to take a look at those now healing leaky gut is just really one out of five steps that you need to follow when you're talking about reversing an autoimmune disease now I had an autoimmune disease which was autumn you and hepatitis and thank God we were able to reverse that disease and in during that experience we've learned a five-step process that we use to reverse my own immune disease and we've seen it applied in many different cases and over and over it works and so we actually created a whole book 142 page book that we have on our website and we were receiving testimony after testimony from our customers who are receiving drastic improvement and even healing through following the protocol in the book and so that's a paid book you could get that also we have a free ebook on our website that you're welcome to that gives a basic overview of what these five steps entails and so you could get that by clicking the link below or you could click the card there and you're welcome to having those books okay so maybe you're wondering what am I supposed to eat that whole list of you know those five foods that you're supposed to avoid that pretty much took away my weekend so what am I supposed to do now well just want to console you there is plenty of wonderful food you to eat that will provide you with adequate nutrition and give you a vibrant healthy life the diet that you want to focus on is a gluten-free plant-based diet this diets it's essentially a vegan diet has been proven to specifically help those with arthritic inflammatory conditions rheumatoid arthritis in particular and I want to show you a study that was done on rheumatoid arthritis patients they started with the 7 to 10-day juice fast and then fed them a vegan vegetarian diet and look what says happened after four weeks of the health farm but diet group showed a significant improvement in number of tender joints the benefits in the diet group were still present after one year an evaluation of the whole course showed significant advantages for the diet group in all measured indices so on four weeks these people they're doing a juice fast and eating a vegan vegetarian diet showed significant improvement and a year later they still had the benefits because they kept up with the diet by the way there's a doctor by the name of dr. John Harvey Kellogg he was a doctor in the late 1800s into the early 1900s and he had a very big facility he called a sanitarium and do you know what his primary Methodist primary technique that he used there to heal and treat his patients was hydrotherapy now Kellogg have you heard of Kellogg's cereal cornflakes Sam guy and so that will give you a frame of reference here and Kellogg was healing people left and right as a matter of fact his sanitarium got so popular at one point kings and queens were coming over from Europe to be treated by him because the successor was so high he reversed rheumatism quite frequently and how did he do it listen to his methods what he did this is really interesting when you compared to what we just read in the study he would feed them first he would feed them a simple nutritious diet which had contained no meat no animal growths no eggs or cheese so none of those animal products and then he would do hydrotherapy treatments on the remember I showed you prior that natural remedy now also additionally he would try to get them to sweat and to sweat profusely so he would do different treatments like sweat baths and different therapies to induce sweating why did he do that what he was doing essentially is giving these patients a blood transplant you see he was giving him a nutritious diet which was which would create healthy good blood and then through the sweating he was eliminating and detoxing them from the toxins that were presently in their blood essentially recycling their blood all over again remember I said what if you could reverse your arthritis and or rheumatoid arthritis in just a hundred and twenty days he essentially proved this idea why the treatments he did and the results that took place know you might be wondering how do I cook this way I'm not used to eating a plant-based diet you could go to our website reverse autom you calm or you could go to our youtube channel where we should have videos of my wife showing how to prepare many delicious dishes pancakes Pizza lasagna on Auditing the friendly diet another thing that we want to get into is magnesium no magnesium super important you need it for flexibility you need it for joints and you need it for ligaments and most people are magnesium deficient and so this is typically because soils have been depleted and one doctor that I listen to and respect says that 80 90 percent of his patients are magnesium deficient we're just not getting enough of it in our diet and but magnesium has been shown to help with joint and ligament conditions now instead of turning to supplements where can you get magnesium here's several good sources Celtic sea salt dark leafy greens like charred kale spinach avocado nori sprouts pumpkin seeds all these are great sources of magnesium and when you focus essentially on a plant-based diet you're gonna be incorporating these things into your diet and this is going to help bring up your blood acidity level to a stable place and it's going to help any inflammatory based arthritic condition all right so we dealt with the acidity now let's go to the oxygen the depleted oxygen remember that was the second marked feature now we're going to look at toxins that contribute to rheumatoid arthritis that come through inhalation now these either make the body toxic or they hurt the body's ability to take in oxygen and to absorb oxygen the first toxin that we want to look at is insecticides it was noticed that women in a certain big farming agricultural community were getting really sick and they were getting really sick with two primary diseases rheumatoid arthritis and lupus over and over it was more than just coincidence and so they wondered maybe it's the insecticides that they're constantly exposed to and so researchers looked at data from a woman's health study over 75,000 women and you know what they found to be the culprit they sum it up right here these results suggest residential and workplace insecticide exposure is associated with risk of ard that's autumn you-you rheumatic diseases in post menopausal women so what did they find insecticides and this Lube is RA and sect aside link has been found in multiple studies over and over hey quick question if these women were getting lupus and rheumatoid arthritis by inhaling and having skin contact with insecticides do you think it would produce similar results if we ate it if we ingested food that had insecticides all over it you know it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it's going to have a very similar effect and putting in our bodies that direction it's going to definitely hurt us as well and so you want to focus on eating an organic diet eating non-organic produce through the study I believe is evidence showing us that it's linking it to lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and can possibly contribute to those diseases okay now let's deal with the next culprit air pollution notice what this study on linking air pollution and rheumatoid arthritis has to say studies designed for epidemiology of rheumatoid arthritis found a link between traffic a surrogate of air pollution and this disease meaning rheumatoid arthritis as a matter of fact a research paper looked at three big studies totaling about one hundred and fifty five thousand people so very large and what did they find by analyzing the data from these studies notice number one women living within 50 metres of a road had an increased risk of rheumatoid arthritis compared with those living 200 meters or further away residential proximity to traffic five years prior to aria diagnosis was associated with an increased risk of are a so the closer you lived to a road the higher your chances were of getting rheumatoid arthritis so just the pollution of living next door Road contributed to RA now what's 50 metres for those who aren't used to this system 15 metres is really close it's a hundred and sixty four feet so it's essentially just having your house virtually right on the road or maybe the house behind that 200 metres is just a little bit less than a quarter mile and the same was found in all three of these huge studies so there is a little a link and a risk between living close to highways busy highways and rheumatoid arthritis as a matter of fact the same study found that they could increase the severity of RA and mice just by exposing them to diesel exhaust particles so animal studies showing the exact same thing and so what's happening is and car exhaust the fumes contain carbon oxide which is given off in the fumes these actually when you inhale them they take up the receptor site of ox in your blood and so it's actually essentially it's slowly suffocating that's pushing out your ability to take in oxygen in your body and remember where were the two mark things they found in that synovial fluid of Roma rheumatoid arthritis patients Papa epoxy a-- depleted oxygen and acidity acidosis our next toxin that we're gonna deal with is smoking now this shouldn't come as a surprise but smoking is a huge risk with rheumatoid arthritis let's just look at a few quotes British Medical Journal heavy cigarette smoking is strongly associated with rheumatoid arthritis Mayo Clinic yes smoking is linked to the development of rheumatoid arthritis and it just goes on and on so that shouldn't be much of a surprise so if you're a smoker that's definitely something that you want to get a grip on and I found that you can get grips on difficult habits like that through going to God and prayer and that's how I deal with the difficult issues and addictions in my life the next and last toxin we want to deal with this silica now silica is found in construction materials so if you're doing a remodel job or you're a construction worker or you're married to a construction worker this is a potential risk for you and it's associated to rheumatoid arthritis as a serious consideration then you want to look at also your blood needs oxygen right so what should you do something very you could be a very active proactive about doing and I mean that in a very literal sense exercise exercises would probably be best way to get oxygen into your blood into your body you really should be exercising about five days a week 30 minutes at a time enough to get your heart rate up maybe you don't feel like you could exercise very much maybe you could really get off the bed just start small but the point is you need to start exercising super important and even if you didn't have rheumatoid arthritis it's just needful everyone needs to exercise we if we don't move around we rest out so a few more tips water water actually hydrates and plumps up the cartilage decreasing the ability of bone to be rubbing on bone which often happens with people have severe arthritis situations so hydrate yourself drink 8 to 12 cups of water a day you need to be drinking at least that much then lastly you might want to consider a physical therapist or a good chiropractor if you have a pinched nerve or cut off blood supply to a certain area because of a structural issue those may be resources you want to look at and I never really realized this until I learned that pinched nerve supply pinched blood supply equals more sensation you would think less it's actually more imagine if you had like if your leg fell asleep what's it like when that blood starts rushing back into your leg it hurts right and so it there's a period of greater sensitivity before you get to a period of absolute numbness and atrophy and then you can't use the limb anymore and we can't forget the emotional component of disease as well emotions actually can make your system acidic so a good question to ask yourself is how do I handle stress how do I handle negative emotions how do I handle difficulties in my life and what I could do is I could share with you how I have been able to successfully and still do I'm able to handle successfully very difficult situations in my life negative emotions and that is through a close connection with God and I believe there's a god I believe he's a God who's a loving God and He wants and desires a close daily relationship with you and you're able to you could achieve that you would have that through daily prayer and Bible study which I have found as a necessary component to my healing process and I've seen it in many many others it was a necessary components in their healing and so I highly recommend that so now let's back up let's just summarize what we covered as we finish here first you want to eliminate foods that are acidic which would be meat wheat dairy alcohol and coffee also you want to eliminate those toxic factors that deplete your oxygen and make you toxic such as insecticide so eat organic smoking silica and air pollution living too close to highways also you need good digestion and the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory where drugs are dangerous and they could actually totally hurt your digestion they're a leading cause of stomach ulcers so what do you do remember we looked at eating a plant-based and vegan diets - the night sheets and to relieve joint pain then that's where remedies we looked at where hydrotherapy Omega threes castor oil stinging nettle and ginger poultices fantastic and also don't forget daily prayer and Bible study with a God who loves you and desires a connection with you so if you want more information feel free to go to reverse autoimmune com where we have several books there's a ton of information on there about reversing autoimmune diseases thanks for watching and may you be blessed in your pursuit of health [Music] you
