[Music] [Music] [Music] all right guys we're out of tea x2k we're here with Ivan and AMS performance you guys are having a fantastic weekend so give us a rundown on what kind of cards you guys brought and how's it going things are going really well we brought out we were fortunate enough to bring out obese guard this is Obi prestiges alpha Queen we built this specially for them it's a ridiculously high horsepower car that we've got here basically he gave us permission to build a car that would compete for the world record so that's what we're we're doing with it so this weekend unfortunately Obi couldn't be out here he sent his driver out here and he was able to pilot the car roll race roll race we set a tire mile-per-hour 228 miles per hour I think that was the the fastest qualifying time or mild Roberts up for the event we also managed to get some for my own asses in on Friday night the car did its personal bests of 7-eleven it did a 706 and a 705 so we're just a skosh away from running a six-second pass part of what we're doing on this bar is trying to get into the sixes in stock diameter tires assess 28 inch tall tires all the way around all the six-second GTRs currently have a big tire on the back it's a couple inches wider a couple inches taller it's a big tire so we're trying to do it on stock diameter also what we're doing this weekend is testing out some motor program stuff we have a special head gasket that we've got going on here that seems to be holding up really well we've got some special Manley big pin Pistons we went to a much larger diameter something that will hold together better and yeah it's been great so far car put down two thousand five hundred fifty horsepower about 55 pounds of boost here an seventy seven pounds of boost yesterday so it's it's moving [Music] [Applause] [Music] well it's really really good seeing you guys you guys having a phenomenal weekend so looking forward to you know the rest of the weekend with you guys here so awesome thanks for coming up 2:19 do it it's JanSport astok [Music] card is rollin that was a good start [Music] hey guys we're back at Texas 2k after the second full pass Wow 228 miles an hour through the backdoor the car felt great I've never felt that much acceleration in my life especially at a quarter-mile track we're almost close to some half mile speeds right now without the Queen so this is just amazing cars running really really good I mean team saying there's still a lot of power left in sub power enough to go faster so it's really great we have a great momentum I think we're gonna do really good in the quarter-mile this next coming few days so stay tuned [Music] [Music] hey guys so from Chicago motorcars alpha X just ran first round of qualifying here at Texas 2k 18 I believe we are number one qualifiers in our group GTR three class three alpha performed awesome Ram good thing about a one to five 60-foot 767 at 185 cars running good now little they even is rich easier [Music] see I was a very big surprise my husband surprised me with it this Friday here it was a huge surprise never knew it was gonna happen Kate one-out off-site with with my husband and my my mom and came back in and it was here there's everybody at the shop was like saying oh you know nice cars you know which one's your favorite color and then they put into the red want to say this was personally our favorite I was like okay cool so we all went over and looked at it and I bent down to see who's the it was built for and I see my name and I just start and shock it check right so super excited it yeah and she thought we were messing with her but within a short time it really it really hit her and it was I think she cried more than what I proposed so that's good or bad I feel it's like a perfect car for her it's a absolutely streetable it's an alpha 12 the Gen 1 outfits well-made 14:30 on the dyno and it's a motek 4.1 it's a full chefs stage 5 so all the frustrations I had of breaking things I just wanted her to come out with a moderate level car that she doesn't have to worry about we're not gonna take weight out of it we're not going to change it on race state you know the baby seat might come out but just ready to go last night we took it back to with the kids in the back and then brought it back this morning the same tires you know we got gassed at the station and and she said each pass has been a new personal best [Music]

I think i'm more impressed by the red GTR putting out 1400HP on pump gas. It's funny to hear the owners husband talk about how they wanted it built: "Yeah I just wanted something she could play around with here on the track with a moderate amount of power but totally streetable, so we built this car that puts out 1400HP."

Stupid question...I see it's got fat front tires but it's doing a RWD burnout. Are they able to electronically decouple the front shaft or? Why run big tires otherwise.
