303 british vs 7.62x54r - GIANT CLAY BLOCKS!!!!

[Music] hey everybody how you doing this is about to be a really fun video out at the range today with heavy metal doing a super highly requested video that is comparing the 303 british and the mosin and what better test to compare them on our clay blocks test now sometimes we use the small 10 pound ones but this time i went and spent like 100 bucks on some clay so we can really see the power that these two rifle rounds are dumping ever since i bought my 303 british you guys have commenting and commenting and commenting bring out the 303 british so that's what i've done today and we're going to compare it to the mosin so real quick look here's my 303 british right here definitely definitely pretty old tell you the truth i forget when this was made maybe it says it on here it's just right here on the barrel or back here number one mk3 but it doesn't have the year oh it has a year down here uh 1912. so yeah this baby's over 100 years old and still flings bullets that's pretty cool that's my 303 british we're going to shoot that first and secondly this is my mosin shoots the 762 by 54r powerhouse n and o itself too it's a sucker have any markings on it here i'll forget this one says 1943. russia something or other blah blah blah yeah this is a mattress mattress mattress numbers matching old mosin 2 you used to be able to pick up uh both of these pretty daggum cheap now they go for big money but anyways uh let's shoot that 303 first i'm gonna try to hit them both right here square in the middle and it should be a lot of fun check it out 303 first all right so first shot here is that 303 british i'm back at like 20 yards mainly because i don't want to get hit by the clay but hopefully we get a pretty decent center shot tell you the truth uh i'm not exactly sure where the hold is i've only fired this thing like 10 times just kind of for fun but see if we can hit that clay pretty center here wow um yeah that hit hard and clay flew literally 20 yards let's go check it out up close so from what i could see 20 yards back insane power dump and there's not even any clay left on the table i didn't feel like i had a good trigger pull either but we must have hit it somewhere in the middle for it to just completely shoot everything off the table that was ridiculous so we got clay all over the yard everywhere that's 10 yards out in front of it spots in the grass when we come up here all we got left is a little piece of pancake there that's kind of interesting and then down here we have two kind of half pieces of clay if i get out of the shadow looks like we kind of hit him in the teeth kind of where i was aiming maybe below his eyeballs and then these blocks kind of flew off to the side and that other one looks like got more of a square hit and just kind of turned into a pancake down on the ground to end up here on the table but you guys have much better view than i on the slow motion camera but i think that's going to be awesome can't wait to edit this video but let's go pick up that mosin uh that 303 surprised me i think we'll have a hard time topping that but let's see what the mosin's got in her and see if we get some more splody bits of clay up in the sky like we did with the 303 see what happens let me grab the mosin and set up some more clay blocks real quick all right now here goes the mosin same distance i don't think i mentioned it yet either but both of these are lead tipped rounds you know they're not full metal jackets they're like hunting rounds how cool would it be to film a deer hunting video with both of these rifles comment down below if you want to see us film that this next upcoming deer season that would actually be pretty cool but slow disposing definitely a different feel on those actions but i'll see what i can do with this one if i remember right i'm not as good as a shot with this one but see what happens [Applause] huh pretty good center shot let's go check it out all right so i couldn't see what you guys saw from the other cameras but from my eyeballs back here 20 yards looked like that mosin round came through and socked him super super hard honestly i didn't know what to think but i didn't think either one of these would show us that much power dump on that clay we've done other stuff 270 308 30 out of 6 25 outside three for the legend a whole bunch of stuff on the clay before and that was from the last one but then it looks like we got a pretty center hit guys you can see there's a huge section compare that to the size of my hand i got pretty big hands that just got forced downwards into the table and then it looks like we also shot some back there off the back so that was intense give her all the zooms i haven't shot this one in a minute man that turned out to be an
