hey everybody it's bunny and it's everybody's favorite day of the week the day of the week when we ask ourselves does this thing really work and today i am gonna be testing out something that i bet you guys have either seen as an ad somewhere on instagram or facebook we're back at it again today's product might really work and it might be a scam i don't know but before we get started go ahead testing out this thing that i have seen called so many different things but the listing that i specifically bought is called a nano mist sprayer so i did already unbox this thing because i wanted to make sure that it was sufficiently charged so i had it plugged in with this little mini usb and i just left it sitting basically for 24 hours i just wanted to be able to like really give this product the best chance to work even the listing i purchased it from is a little bit shady so let's just deep dive into it i was able to find this exact same product that i saw being sold for 25 30 on instagram for 11.99 on amazon and it was amazon prime so i didn't even have to pay for shipping the whole tagline it sounds like a click bait video title honestly i'm inserting a picture here so you can read it along with me it's like story time right now but it says nano facial mister mini facial steamer handy moisturizing mist sprayer atomization skin care steamer usb rechargeable you may receive defective products please feel free to contact us i mean it just fills me with extreme confidence that this item that i've bought is gonna actually even turn on maybe a year ago i was seeing these products popping up all over social media people were using them as mini facial steamers i assumed that this product heated up because i cannot imagine like what the benefit of just spraying room temperature water all over your face like i do not know what the skin benefits of that would be i am going to be interested to see if this product is like a steamer because the title we just read is a little misleading they refer to it as a mister which to me means it's not going to heat up at all or they refer to it as a steamer which to me means steam it's gonna be hot i feel like the tagline for this product has changed now that we are in the era that we're living in and now it is being sold as a hand sanitization steamer i've seen people load it up with rubbing alcohol so that's what i'm gonna be using today i have just seen people go to town with this thing they will sanitize their hands they will sanitize their money like stacks of cash they'll sanitize the inside of their car computer keyboards i've seen it all so this is like your one stop shop for sanitization i suppose oh okay i just accidentally pushed the power button and it's glowing blue kinda gives me hope oh i'm just spraying rubbing alcohol everywhere okay oh geez so now of course you screw it back together upside down let's find out oh my gosh oh we have a mist i do feel like it is like spraying a lot i don't know how i feel about that you guys okay so now that we know it turns on let's put this thing to the test when we test something like this out it's sort of like an invisible kind of thing like you can see whether it turns on or off but you can't really see how well it's cleaning or sanitizing your hands but today i have a surprise because i found this other stuff which is called glow germ and it is a lotion which simulates germs which you would think we have enough real germs floating in the world right now we don't need to simulate any this stuff i believe is actually used specifically specifically in the medical field when you're going to i almost said like doctor training school but when you're going to medical school and they're teaching you like proper hand washing like surgery and washing techniques i think that that is where they use this stuff you squirt a dime size amount on your hands and you rub it together and then it will look like germs underneath this amazing little blacklight flashlight what i'm about to do is just put this thing up to the test against the other sprayable hand sanitizer sprays and then i will do a comparison of just applying this stuff and washing my hands and we'll see if i even follow proper hand washing techniques am i really getting those germs off my hand do i wash my hands as good as i think i do let's go ahead we are meant to shake this stuff up i'm gonna go ahead and take off all my hair ties is that a dime you are supposed to rub the fronts and backs of your hands and also under your fingernails they say to infect your hands oh pleasant scent so what we're about to do is cut the lights and then i will go ahead and shine the black light on my hands and we'll see like what my hands look like covered in simulated germs i have to say the simulated germs feel surprisingly moisturizing isn't this the same flashlight that gordon ramsay uses to detect like pee this stuff in person like shines really bright you can definitely see like the mittens of simulated germs so i tried to capture what it looked like on three different cameras so i'm hoping that the clip that i'm showing you guys looks really cool and you can see the glow germs now that we see we have simulated germs let's try and clean them so i'm gonna turn on the little mister and i'm gonna be honest it feels like nothing is on my hands right now it doesn't even feel like the same feeling i get when i spray on spray hand sanitizer i mean it is putting off a pretty consistent and impressive mist it's kind of weird i don't think i should be breathing in all this rubbing alcohol no it's good it's good okay like fanning the rubbing alcohol it's very smelly i don't think that this thing is doing that much i still can feel like i have lotion on my hands which is exactly what this glow gel stuff feels like but i'm curious now that i picked up this fan is the germ stuff like does it have that kind of like transfer ability i wonder if it does that oh my god i hope one of these cameras is showing it or is this just covered in my hand germs i think the last thing i needed to see in my life was simulated germs hopefully you guys can see that that's pretty interesting i mean it does show i guess how like germs can transfer from surface to surface so now let's see hmm it does maybe look like a little bit of the germs are missing i mean definitely like not good enough to be effective and if it doesn't clean your hands i'd have to imagine it also wouldn't clean your money or your steering wheel or anything else that leaves me to wonder would this be effective at all as what it was originally marketed as which is a facial sprayer i would have to say if you're gonna spend like twelve dollars you might as well just put that money towards an actual facial steamer but i know that they sell like smaller ones on amazon that i think are around like 25 or 30 so if you're gonna use it for facial purposes i would probably go ahead and get something that actually steams and heats and can open your pores and be beneficial versus something that's just gonna mist water on your face i thought i was gonna have to wash my hands and then we would test out what the hand sanitizer spray looks like but i think we can just glide into that next segment with the glow germ that's left over on our hands let's go ahead and spray hand sanitizer on our hands and i mean right away like i can feel moisture actually spritzing onto my hands so i'm also gonna rub should i have rubbed my hands together my hands just felt instantly dry last time so let's go ahead and cut the lights again and see how much glow germ is removed now i do feel like it looks somewhat removed i mean it's not perfect which they don't say that hand sanitizing any kind of hand sanitizer is like a perfect substitute for washing your hands i don't know parts of the palms in the tops of the hands look clean but still under the fingernails it still looks pretty rough i feel like we're kind of shocked over here i think when i was looking at it under these two cameras that i'm filming with right now it looked like it had removed it a little bit better than it actually did as always the iphone footage i feel like swoops in and really shows like colors and details differently than any of my bigger cameras do and it's kind of shocking i thought that it had removed most of the germ stuff like off of the centers of my palms just not so well in between my fingers and like under my nails and stuff but when we were looking at it on the iphone footage it still looks pretty gnarly you guys so now what i'm gonna do once again i thought i would have to be reapplying the germ gel but i feel like there is still enough glow germ on my hands so what i'm gonna do right now is go in there and wash my hands for like 45 seconds 60 seconds do my normal hand washing routine and then we're gonna come back in here and look at it again and see am i even properly washing my hands let's find out all right you guys moment of truth i'm honestly kind of nervous you know what i bet i bet it's still gonna look like there's germs on my jewelry i bet jewelry is like the hardest to de-germ let's turn on the blue light and see how much glojo is left okay i'm like genuinely concerned oh my god oh no i hope you guys are gonna be able to see it looks way better and it did my nail beds are still pretty much like pure white my knuckles still have glow germ okay the palms do look pretty clean though all right you guys i'm shocked i'm shocked and horrified by what we've just seen here today with my normal hand washing techniques so what i'm about to do is just once again apply a small amount of fresh germ glow on my hands i'll have to let me know if you remember this product or not i did a video i don't even remember how many years ago now where i was testing out weird bathroom gadgets and one of the things i tested out is this little hand washing scrub bug just a quick little recap on this thing in case you guys didn't see the last video like three years ago this was invented by a surgeon and it's meant to appeal to kids and people that want to get their hands really clean but i think they made it in this like cutesy colorful bug design to appeal to kids to try and you know get them to really spend more time washing their hands but it has this like sponge thing on the end which is literally made out of the same material that they make they have these like special sponges for like when doctors are about to do surgery they wash their hands with like a specific a specific scrubbing sponge i can't say specific specific scrubbing sponge and then it also has this bristly bit on the other side that's really meant to help you like scrub underneath your nails i'm rubbing the germs all over my hands i'm back from using the scrub bug and i'll have to say no matter what results we're about to see right now i feel like it does promote you to spend longer at the sink washing your hands because you kind of want to make sure that you're doing the nail brush and using the little hand sponge my hands just kind of feel cleaner like last time even when i just washed my hands with regular soap and water it still felt like my hands were a little bit moisturized and even though i don't i don't think this is meant to be moisturizing at all it feels like a lotion uh and right now my hands just feel like super clean and not like lotiony at all anyway let's find out moment of truth let's cut the lights i feel like it looks cleaner on the palm right but that looks really gross i can't really see that much maybe my nail beds just look like that i don't know it looks a lot better but i can still see some stuff oh my god it's the knuckles i am never getting my knuckles or my fingers clean enough all right you guys so i feel like this video started out being one thing where i was just gonna test this one little hand sanitizing mister and then it totally morphed into something else so now i'm kind of wondering like what is up with this product have you ever encountered this in your life if you have ever gone to doctor training school or nursing school or anything like that what are the expectations like maybe was i expecting to have better results than we actually did because i literally thought like after i washed my hands there would be not a speck of glow germ left like we would just see nothing glowing under the lamp and boy was i shocked i'm definitely washing my hands for like the recommended amount of time you know singing all the songs doing all the little special motions that we're supposed to be doing so needless to say i am shocked i am shocked i am surprised by the results that we have seen here today i'm not shocked though that this thing is kind of i'm sorry those are all of my thoughts and opinions on hand washing today so i can't wait to hear what you guys
