2022 Thor Vegas 24.1. Class A Versus Class C.

all right this video is for somebody who's inquiring about a short coach it's also to give everybody a perspective on what the difference is between class c and class a classy's a truck i mean i i have to curl down into there and get in that seat look at the room for my legs to get around look at the drop off down there when you're sitting down here let's let's get down here i'm sitting in traffic i'm it's just a truck and then i i gotta climb up that and get back there nobody ever brings in a class a and says give me a class c they always bring in the class c and say give me a class a the smallest class cs are typically 24 feet this is a super popular popular model that i'm walking at this is the thor vegas 24.1 as you can see it has an awning that goes almost the length of the camper front to back it's 24 feet long the difference is in class c you have the hood of the truck the engine coming way out here it's used not used floor space that is a full 24 feet of usable space no engine engines built under there all right that just gives you a little difference you know what i'm gonna do the outside last since i'm trying to give a perspective here see the difference i'm not climbing down into anything i am walking up and sitting down the ability to literally walk up and my legs are not even bent at all and sit down is worth its weight in gold i'm sitting a little above traffic the view is ten times better but just an amazing difference just to stand up and walk out it's you know it's it's a huge decision and a lot of people go with class c because they're intimidated by size this this is the same it's 24 feet you just don't have all that engine space hanging out there taking you know more room it's all built in but anyways let's go back to the coach okay it's your passenger seat that spins in a 360 faces the other direction for conversation so does the driver's seat there's a table in the back the post goes in that hole and a little coffee table that pops up that's your work station right there that will flip over and back so if you want to use a laptop read a book eat dunk lunch whatever you know nice little space you have cup holders and plenty of room there this is a gas motor coach everything's going to be some similar to what you're used to that radio's got apple play android play so you can mirror your you have true hands-free in these now you can get the latest and greatest camping apps telling you everything as you're driving down the road your audio controls below some lights start your generator your night shade your nightshade doubles as a visor so you're driving down the road you can lower that to block the sun or block out all light it's got traction control or vehicle stability control your standard thermostat controls nothing super fancy or anything got a usb outlet right there it's your driver's seat that spins around also so when both of these spin around you have two captains chairs facing the couch in the back let's go ahead and give this a start [Music] and then again it's going to be regular stuff here's your cruise control your multi-function display screen which is right in the center gas mileage of different things like that your tachometer your odometer or speedometer you're gonna have your fuel gauge your heat you know pretty simple stuff you have your automatic lights right there here's your wipers on that side and there's your uh blinkers on that side yeah not blinkers that's your wipers no wipers are on the other side it's for towing sorry be wonderful the day they make these all the same here's your fog lights your auxiliary start and your lights auxiliary starts kind of cool that's the toggle on the right side i can use that button i can pull power from up front to start the generator in the back if the batteries are dead up front i can't start my rv i can use the auxiliary start and pull power from those batteries to start the front in other words you can always start it there's your heated outside mirrors power mirrors on this one see some speakers down there that is a huge bed above the top by the way the tv right there put on the swing no that's permanent let's fire this thing up slides out let's go to bunk not gonna do it while it's running let's turn that off there we go so instead of having the permanent over the cab we can lower that down yeah you want to stop there nice-sized room up there plenty of room it comes down more it comes down to about right there i'd say obviously i didn't uh lean the seats back so i don't want to crunch the seats but that's a nice-sized sleeping area up there go ahead and raise that back up come on while i'm there i can show you the exhaust fan those are kind of nice open them up crack a window or two it'll draw air through here's pretty nice by the way there's a ladder in the back that goes into those two hooks right there that's how you get up into that bed all right let's give you a little shot along the sides got storage up top there that is a tri-fold sofa bing bang boom two adults can sleep on it pretty easily um got nice storage up above there looking at your kitchen storage up top high rise faucet it's got a two burner cooktop with a convection microwave get a little more ceiling height in one of these this is a flip up extension for the counter obviously a nice huge sink on that it's your two burner cooktop it's gasoline of course they all run off of the propane there's your convection microwave and then one of these i mean storage galore and you actually have a place for a trash can just plenty of storage in there i can't remember if i did the top so i'm gonna do it again anyways there we go like the lights in them and again the big deal that's it that's it i walk up and i sit down i don't crawl down into anything i just walk in there and sit down it is such a big big deal it's your refrigerator and freezer bathroom's kind of unique on this so i can pull this door this way it's going to hit that latch and act as a privacy door right there so somebody's getting dressed or whatever in the bedroom what else show your bathroom another vent fan up there big skylight nice-sized shower i can point out positives all day long not a huge fan of that countertop space no i'm not allowed there but you know maybe you can keep stuff in there obviously you could deeper than a regular medicine cabinet now let's shut this one and open this if you want a little privacy to the bedroom that one hits a magnet up there behave there we go got a massive closet right here that would be the ladder to get up top into the bunks those are your table legs that's that is your table that goes in between those two seats right here [Music] that is the pole i just dropped on the ground kind of like this setup on these i imagine my tables back there under the bed or behind there maybe behind there but then a big table top will sit on top of that so if you're traveling with four people and people can sit across the couch and get a couple of soft chairs no lawn chairs to sit right there you can spin those around i mean you could sit six people in here pretty comfortably five for sure nice big drawer another big drawer there oh yeah i'm in a 2022 vegas 24.1 a whopping 24 feet long we got split beds in the back you got storage all the way around up top max fan air talk about a fan open a couple windows and turn that on they're real quiet i like a little noise with a fan so i can sleep better but that'll draw air through here something fierce we got another tv back here let's say we just want to make this one big king bed let's grab that pull it forward drop it in and wham we got a king bed that easy so either twins or a king that is sturdy is all get out right there plenty of room plenty of storage and a couple of usbs right there little nightstand built in anyways 24 feet that that's it that's this is not it's the same size as the 22b four wins that the customer called about you know it's just the illusion people come in and they're oh i can't drive a class a that's too big no it's not it's the same length exact same length and gives you so much more i mean i'm standing up in the cockpit it i'm not crawling and sitting down there that gives you so much more space because the length of the engine up front in the class c takes up so much space so much length rule number one when you walk out of one of these things turn off the power that way your batteries don't die it's your screen door nice storage there and they use rotocast storage roto cassettes one piece of plastic molded so it doesn't leak it's not going to come apart or anything like that this has the camera package on it so if you turn on your right blinker this camera is basically it's like sticking your head out this window and looking backwards you're gonna see everything on your screen going down that way be surprised if all these are unlocked yay there we go another long storage box there power outlet every thor has a gas quick connect with a uh for a barbecue pit or a griddle or whatever you want now this is huge cute though pun intended huge look at that storage i mean it's it goes all the way over to the back side there is not a class c where you're gonna find that and still have the space inside there's the other storage door [Music] another one on that side now if somebody were to pull something with one of these things there's your head you're plugging and everything like that with the new 7.3 liter ford motor in this thing they're saying your tow capacity is eight thousand pounds okay i like five five thousand is enough your typical sedan your typical mid-size suv is if you're gonna pull one there's 3 500 3600 pounds right around there so i don't know that's your generator box there fuel tank your black tank flush flushing out all your uh tanks your power outlet your cable outlet your city water connection outside storage and that is your water tank right there i imagine that's a storage tank on this side yep another storage little electronics of course it has a camera on the back but here's your other side view camera like i mentioned earlier put on your left blinker black it shows you everything going down the side has slide toppers on top of it that's so you know if a stick an acorn whatever falls down on top as you bring your slide in it'll roll off the top but the illusion is real folks it's real classy has that all that unusable space on the front because of the engine this is only 24 feet long and it provides you so much more camping plus a better ride in a class c you have a solid rear axle you feel every bump you bump on one side it automatically bumps the other side this will have independent suspension into that the ride's 10 times better and your ride above traffic that's where i go i mean i want to see i want to see my adventure i don't want to look over us you know a car in front of me to see it anyways long video just wanted to kind of show somebody uh the differences between a class c and a class a go class a you'll save a lot of money in the long run that's for the general public there by the way
