2023 Thor Axis 24.4 - 26FT CLASS A!

here to do arvis with gabby at gmail.com welcome back to my channel everyone today we are taking a look at one of the smallest class a's on the market i've had trouble seeing them on my lot in the past couple of years since covid hit so we got one in yesterday and i wanted to make sure that i got this video as quick as possible because this coach will probably sell super fast okay so here is the 2023 thor axis 24.4 i love this little coach you've got this cute little windshield up front that gives you that nice panoramic feel but the coach itself is just under 26 foot in length so if you're a little shy or nervous about driving these big class a's you've got the axis as a good stepping stone a slide topper on top of the slide out there you've got the upgraded chrome mirrors with the side view cameras at the bottom of those nice awning here with the arms up top versus out to the sides meaning you won't bump your head i know i've done that before i've hit my head on slide outs and awning arms all that jazz you've got some storage along the side of the coach not very deep but you've got qui you know for the size of the coach you've got some storage potential you could um fit your smaller items maybe um your hoses and you know cases of water things like that maybe a grill in here you've got the lp quick connect there on the side so you can hook up your grill and you can grill underneath your awning there you've got a hook up here electrical outlets in case you want to bring a mini fridge or maybe your a small tv for out here around the back this one has a backup camera and a ladder to get up on top of the roof so you can get up there and keep up with your roof maintenance your toe rating on this is 8 000 pounds the 8 000 hitch but your tongue is actually 500 pounds and uh you really want to go by your tongue weight so truly your tongue should be 10 of your total towing which would mean five hundred times ten five thousand pounds is really what you should be towing with this and i would stay under that a little bit because otherwise your load you know you're not including what you're loading the coach up with i also love this coach has an outside shower with hot and cold water you don't see that too often on the class a's you usually see it in the wet bay with everything you'll see like a sprayer but not like an actual shower like this so this would be a great coach down here in florida you know you take it to the beach for the weekend the two-legged or four-legged campers are dirty you rinse them off outside before you head in this coach has a 4000 watt gas generator love that because it'll run right off your gas tank and it'll shut off at a quarter tank to make sure that you don't run out of gas to get to where you need to go you've also got a solar panel on here with a controlled uh charger so you can charge your batteries keep them trickle charged okay so this is your layout when you first walk in in the front here you've got a little step up i love that windshield just really opens it up compared to like a 26 foot class c so if you sit in your driver's seat here you've got a nice big um touch screen for your radio you've got siriusxm android apple carplay bluetooth for your phone your camera which it will show no signal because the coach is not on right now controls like genstart your cab lights the nightshade here which is really nice gives you a bit of privacy when you're parked and then walking into the coach this is a murphy bed floor plan love that i will have to pause the video at some point to bring down the bed maybe there's a way i can set up my phone so you can watch me put the bed together um but your dinette's here it's pretty wide actually and it's a dream dinette so you just drop it down real easily there's no legs you basically just unhook this little knob here okay and you push and it goes down look that was one hand and i got the phone in the other hand so um super easy to set up and take down oh that's because it's attached what i do like about this dream dinette oh hang on a second okay so one hand to drop down two hands to bring it back up but i do like it because when you sit in here you're you're you have a comfortable amount of leg space because there is no you know you don't have the poles in the middle here uh so nice amount of leg room you could probably sleep one or two people on this dinette when it's dropped down you've even got a wireless charger for your phone and it looks like a usb port in here and another micro port so lots of ways to charge your devices right across from your dinette you have the kitchen area so you've got your convection microwave down below you've got a tv up top with a little bit of storage if you unlock this tv swivels out and then you've got a stainless steel recessed sink super nice pull faucet a little shower nozzle love that and a little bit extra counter top if you want you can raise that giving you plenty of cook space this will cover the sink too i need a camera i need a camera in person guys i need a second set of hands so you can actually see what i'm doing here but this is another countertop space prep space when you're not using it uh msrp uni on this unit is 554 of course we have a sale price but i don't have it in the coach right now because it just came in two burner propane cooktop here and then you've got a nice big electric fridge oh gas electric i take that back you can see the condenser here freezer up top and there are your controls for auto gas oh now the fridge is on off couch here when it's set up during the day and then i will set it up as a bed in a second for you guys here's your mirror and you have some storage right here so a couple of drawers let's see those are pretty good pretty sturdy okay wobbling a little bit but you've got a nice big hanging closets two of them his and hers or you know maybe both hers and he gets stuck with one of the drawers um tabletop goes in front in front there huh well there's a table there that looks like it belongs right here but there's no mount here and this has happened to me before and we've actually had to go and install it because thor did not install it so i have a feeling these chairs swivel they're supposed to be a base there and that's where that table goes you see guys i do these videos one shot one shot no no real preparation and that's what i get when that happens so um but yeah that table is supposed to go between those chairs they swivel around and then the ladder is for your overhead bunk which i can do with one hand if you head to your bm pro touch system here and you go to your mechanisms you've got a bunk lift you hit lower and that will just come right down super easy your maximum rate weight rating on this is 250 pounds guys so maybe two kids or one adult um you want to be careful you don't overload this and if you just release it it stops i'm sure it goes down a couple more inches if i drop the chairs but there is your bunk pretty nice with a net so nobody falls out all right let's check out the bathroom and then i'll work on this murphy bed for you so the bathroom's pretty open i like the porcelain foot flush toilet it's raised a little so when you sit on it it's pretty comfortable you've got a nice shower decent-sized shower with a skylight i'm 5'2 so i can't really tell you you know how it feels for me it's always going to feel pretty big for me i think maybe once you hit six foot that might be a little bit tighter of a squeeze but you've got some storage here oh nice big hanging closet there outlet there excuse me towel rack another towel rack and your medicine cabinet and then you've got a max air vent fan let out the condensation in here stainless sink pretty i like these fixtures better than those plastic twists i always hate those tacky looking plastic twists okay uh this bed system is manual um i did figure that out before i shot this video so i did prepare a little bit um let's see if i can show you guys me setting it up uh i'll see if i can record myself there you go pretty easy pretty comfy i feel like it's lifted up here at the base of it a little bit but maybe that just needs some adjustment down below or maybe that's just the way it is all right well that's it for the axis guys i hope you enjoyed this video until next time have a
