Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Morgan Shepherd 5th in points! And Dick Trickle in 9th!
Fuck yea. 92. The season of magic.
I will never not be amazed looking at old footage and seeing what the stands used to look like in 92 to today.
I miss Bob Jenkins.
Interesting that a speeding penalty was 15 seconds at this time.
Its interesting that the track had repaved the asphalt for the Spring race of 92, then to just put down Concrete on the track for the Bud 500 (August night race).
As I looked up the reason why before finishing this post, apparently the new asphalt started to come up at some point that made the track owner at the time to decide to put down concrete on the the instead of repaving the track once again, thus creating the Bristol that people loved.
Bobby Hamilton with actual cans of Country Time Lemonade powder attached to the dashboard at 49:57.

Several years ago I was at a truck-stop in Charlotte, and, allegedly, someone from Ricky Rudd's team popped in and started asking drivers if they wanted to haul Rudd's cars around, as their previous driver had either quit, oe just didn't want to do it anymore.
I was under a load of pineapples at the time, but I still wonder what my life would have been like if I agreed to drop that trailer.
