what a matchup and there is no other like it between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington you're looking at the standings in the NFC with the Redskins and the Eagles chasing Dallas just one game behind I'm sure it comes as no surprise that there is a sellout crowd and good afternoon I'm Pat Summerall with Tom Brookshire and there's no series like this and I think that the Cowboys right now after the loss on Monday and I have to get very physical they are going to guess I think the best secondary and football for the Redskins and turnover City the Redskins will try to pick their pocket I think the Cowboys have a real tough afternoon I think we both got the impression as we said earlier that perhaps the Cowboys are a little down maybe it is that midseason slump that they sometimes seem to go through you look at Roger Staubach who's got a big painful thigh injury Randy white a great player is going to be hobbling some of their quality people are hurt and that's when they rise to the occasion is those equality people include Cliff Harris as well let's get down to the action now and see what's going on Redskins have one to toss and wrap Dale set Dan will kick off the referee is califor the umpire date Hamilton helped out by Tony materi Bob Deeks banks Williams for over clemmer Jack Vaughn Bobby Hammond newly-acquired from the Giants was one of the ones back deep for the stalls Randy white and he is limping and of course Harvey Martin who sometimes does set the tempo for the Dallas down for their the linebackers Henderson bruenig and DD Lewis and the secondary and Cliff Harris is a late and of course Charlie waters is back home watching in Dallas I think they're loath in there the Cowboys are second and six on an absolutely perfect day in Washington Benny Malone off the right side again hit by Randy Hughes replacing Charlie waters and doing a good job of it no huddle for the Redskins look at this there's Dallas tries to get their special team in and they've got too many men on the field on the Redskins working a clock Dallas with too many men on the field as they try to get in there pass rush unit look like Larry Cole was caught about ten yards off hitting for the bench Alipore let's get to the best third down conversion team in football anyway third down they didn't catch him you look like they did what's a note play that's another one of the ball yet and he's their big rusher been over 700 yards but when Malone carries the ball you're good for about a three yard average it's not like giving the ball to number 44 take something away 44
