15 SUPER EASY Mob Killing Tips And Tricks!

i've played quite a bit of minecraft recently some might say too much minecraft and while i may be beginning to see everything as blocks my playtime has not been without its benefits one of these benefits is that i have learned quite a few tips and tricks for fighting and killing the hostile mobs in this game so in this video i'm going to be sharing 15 of these tricks in the hopes that they will help you survive in your future survival or maybe even hardcore minecraft adventures with that explained let's get straight into the video the first tip on our list involves using this water bucket that i have in my hand right here if you are in a situation where you have a lot of mobs that are following you around and you want to be able to have a quick break from the fighting what you can do is find a nice flat area such as this and then place your water bucket down and stand in the middle preferably on the water source block where you will not get pushed to the edges and you can heal up while the mobs on the outside are not able to get to you because the water is pushing them back you just have to be careful for the mob such as the skeletons which shoot projectiles and in that case you might want to actually dig down below your area like this place a block above your head and you are now completely safe from the mobs who cannot break blocks in case you are in a situation where you do not have a water bucket on you what you can actually do is just pillar up two blocks like this and the mobs will not be able to reach you if you see a mob that can shoot projectiles such as a skeleton you might want to pillar up further so that you can escape the range of the arrows but be careful as the skeleton might shoot you down and that will lead to certain death for some mobs such as the iron golem and the hoglin you will need to pillar up three blocks instead of two as these mobs can hit you from higher and basically hit you off of the little pillar that you were standing on and that will also lead to your certain death though it may be slightly slower because these hoglands don't seem to want to kill me very badly many of you probably already know about this trick but if you have a boat and you are running from my mob that is probably stronger than you can take on use a boat to trap the mob and basically it won't be able to get out of the boat and in the case of the enderman it actually can't teleport either which makes this a very useful contraption for a museum or if you're trying to just contain an enderman so that you can kill it and get some ender pearls one of the more practical uses for this trick is actually when used are and while you cannot put a hogland in a boat this isn't really the point of the demonstration you can put a piglen brute in it and this makes it so that you do not have to kill it and that also means you do not have to aggro the piglens around you while you are speedrunning which as you know is one of the most important parts of the speedrun which is the piglen trading and i probably am going to die about now another trick that is used a lot in speedrunning is blocking the wither skeletons in another fortress using three blocks across the top like this because with their skeletons are more than two blocks tall so they cannot walk under this while you can which basically gives you free reign to kill them and potentially get some wither skulls i've come to a slightly more controlled area to demonstrate this next trick if you can really call this a controlled area and the trick is going to involve this magma cube when the magma cube jumps it will basically come on to you and attack you like this and on a hard mode this will actually deal nine damage so four and a half hearts worth of damage and the way you can avoid this is while the magma cube is in the air you can hit it and it does take some timing but if you get the timing down then you can get a nice dodge on the magma cube and also do lots of damage to it at the same time when you get the magnet keep it in the air and try to hit it like that it's a bit hard to time but if you can get this down it's a very good trick for when you are backed up in a corner and need to dodge a magma cube hit because you are low on health and then you can go back in kill the medium-sized magma cubes and then of course slaughter the tiny ones because they also do damage to you which i find kind of confusing as the baby slimes do not when you are in an ocean monument the two most dangerous things that you have to deal with are drowning and the guardians and the guardians main attack is going to be a laser beam that shoots at you just like this and there's actually a very easy way to counter this move and all you have to do is swim behind a block such as this and then attack you can even place down your blocks like this and block the guardian like a so and if we just keep going like this i would recommend having a trident with you but the guardian basically has no power over us because its main attack is countered simply by stepping behind a wall if you've ever been part of a raid you know that the two most dangerous mobs in close quarters are the ravager and the vindicator who both deal a large amount of damage and can sometimes even fling you up in the air in the case of the ravager but there is actually a simple way to counter the ravager at least temporarily and all you have to do is hold out your shield and as you can see there will be some particle effects around the ravager the first one that looks kind of like a potion effect is basically the ravager being stunned and this will only happen part of the time but there you go we have a stun right there and afterwards you see there is another particle that is very white and that is basically showing a kind of shock wave coming out from the ravager or as it's kind of scientifically known as the ravager roar what you can do is you hold out your shield to stun the ravager like this there we go and then as soon as it gets done run away as fast as you can because this thing will definitely kill you keeping on the topic of a raid the way you start one is by killing one of these guys right here who will give you the bad omen effect which when you walk into a village will activate a raid the way i actually recommend dealing with these things is by killing the ones that do not own a banner like this and then use a source of fire such as a flint steel or a lava bucket to finish off the pillager and you can still get the banner like this but you won't get the bad omen effect because the game does not technically count it as you killing the pillager and then you can go on your merry way knowing that you have successfully dealt with a pillager patrol or the mobs at a pillager outpost one of the most dangerous mobs in minecraft is the creeper but what if i told you there was a way to simply deal with the creeper with nothing in your inventory except for one block you don't need any armor you just need one block and it doesn't even have to be a hard block such as calcite or a stone type you can do this with dirt or any block even a bookshelf kind of a random example but you get the point so all you have to do to negate the creeper explosion is wait for it to explode and then place one block and stand behind the block as you can see right there i only had half a heart of damage dealt to me the creeper explosion is here the game mode is on normal this would also work on hard mode you might get one heart of damage instead of a half heart but the point is basically the same this will even work with the charged creeper half a heart of damage we are hopping over to the end for this next trick because it involves the shulker and while i could have done this in a more controlled environment i feel like it was better for us to do it in the natural area where you would normally find in a shulker so let's see let's let ourselves get hit by one of these bullets and you'll see that we start to levitate one of the most annoying debuffs in minecraft you can simply negate that by stepping into water and as you can see i can now go down kill this shulker and go on my merry way as long as it doesn't teleport like it just did have you ever aggroed a group of zombified piglens and then died because they all chased you around until you were forced to just submit to them and take the death with honor i sure have many times but there is actually a way to completely avoid this and if you can see it down in my hot bar i have a smite 4 wooden axe and a smite 5 iron sword and these are basically the lowest levels of smite in the lowest level weapons that you need to one shot a zombie piglen with a crit so if you go ahead see right here that is a one shot i can do the same with the wooden axe that is right a wooden axe will one shot a zombified piglen if it is a crit and if the axe has smite four on it but if you noticed when i do this when i one shot the zombified piglen the other piglens do not get angry even if one is right next to it it will not be angry at you it will be completely passive and i can do that with the sword as well and just to demonstrate that this is in fact a normal world normal circumstances all the piglens are going to get angry at me i'm going to put a table or some text on the screen right about now which shows what the enchantments are that you need to one shot a zombified piglen with the different material axes and swords so hopefully that's pretty helpful when you are doing your enchanting in the future and want a weapon that can get rid of these guys quickly without aggroing them pillar method rules speaking of one-shotting mobs let's go ahead and talk about the silverfish when you break the blocks in a stronghold there is a chance or some of the blocks are infested with the silverfish so if we go ahead and mine a few right about now you'll see we get a silverfish right there and if we were to just hit this silverfish like this more are going to spawn around and actually quite a few are going to but there is a way to avoid having to deal with the extra silverfish spawning and that is by one shotting the silverfish if i go ahead and one one-shot all these residue silverfish you can see there we go no more have spawned and let's see if we can get another one real quick instead of letting the silverfish live after we hit once let's go ahead and use our axe to quickly dispatch of it and no more are going to spawn around in the area and speaking of spawning silverfish let's go ahead and destroy the spawner because no one likes silverfish spawners a quick note the silverfish has eight hit points so i was using an axe which does nine attack damage though if you have an enchanted sword or i think a netherette sword also does more than eight damage that will work just fine for one shotting the silverfish one of the most dangerous mobs in minecraft is the baby zombie and i do not actually have any tips for you know just killing it every single time but i would recommend standing still and slowly backing up when you are killing the baby zombie because if you're all jumping around and trying to create it like this your chance of hitting the zombie is much lower it has a very small hitbox and overall i think it's worth it more to get each hit to count because the zombie is going to go very quickly and can quickly hit you do a lot of damage very quickly and most of you probably know quite a few scenarios where a baby zombie has ended someone's hardcore run or killed someone in survival they're just a pain in the butt and i would just recommend standing still when you attack them slowly backing up just tapping your s key like this and that will basically allow you to hit the zombie back up a little bit hit it again and your hits will do a little bit of knockback to knock it back so in theory you could do this simply standing still if your aim was good enough and your timing was good enough but it makes it a lot easier to simply just back up a tiny bit each time you hit and i found that this is a very effective way of killing baby zombies and baby husks a witch is one of those mobs that you will often underestimate in the game though if you let it get to you and you let it have some time it can be your downfall so in a scenario where you have two moms such as this do not let the witch get any potions off so you want to start off by hitting the witch which will make it heal with the healing potion like this and this will distract it so it can't throw that poison potion like that i was explaining so i waited a little bit too long but in a scenario like this where you have zombies or extra mobs just attack the witch first go in for the kill quickly dispatch of the witch and back up because the witch can also heal and i believe boost other mobs around it using her potions and you do not want that because the mob is already a pain in the butt as it is and when you have the poison debuff like this and you're down to half a heart one small hit from any mob could be your downfall correction will be your downfall the final tip on this list involves the ghast and more specifically its fireballs i have had to kill quite a few of these things by launching the fireballs back at the gasp and i've come up with a few tricks that i have found that makes my accuracy a little bit better when it comes to actually hitting the ghast with the fireball and you know just hitting the fireball in general because sometimes you'll try but you'll miss and then you'll just get hit by the fireball which will do a decent amount of damage so my first tip is when you are attacking the ghast i would recommend using your fist to hit the fireball i don't know if this works for everybody but i found that this makes it a lot easier for me to hit the fireball back at the gas some people might have an easier time using their sword but i've just found that using the fist is much easier for me gast please come back down i'm trying to do a video and it despawned okay second guest let's go ahead and do that real quick and my final tip is when you are launching the fireball back i would actually jump towards the fireball and obviously you don't want to do this in every scenario but i found that when you do this it makes a lot easier to hit the firewall because sometimes you'll be a little bit too far away when you hit the fireball and that will lead to you missing and the fireball coming in and hitting you so if i jump towards the fireball i've actually found that helps me to hit the fireball as well but yeah basically that's the point you want to use your fist and jump towards the fireball when you hit it and that will help you have better accuracy be more efficient with how you're hitting the fireballs and also just put you in a lot less danger and it despawned again but yeah those
