[Music] [Applause] [Music] you'll need measuring tape a Phillips head screwdriver and a blade to complete this task you can also use a drill step one remove unit and parts from the packaging carefully cut all the way around the bottom of the box where indicated you next lift the box to reveal its contents make sure to check for extra parts now you can remove all stickers and tape step 2 remove the unit from the cabinet to make installation easier lift the front panel upwards in place to the side next remove the filter locate the floor faceplate screws and remove them be sure to save the screws because you'll need them later to reattach the faceplate after removing the screws gently pull the faceplate from the air-conditioner kapner disconnect the control panel and place the panel to the side remove the screw to the ground wiring and remove the two screws on the top of the unit now you're ready to slide the unit from the cabinet step 3 prepare and install your cabinet into the window install the top mounting rail by attaching the three short screws into the appropriate holes ensure the high side of the mounting rail is on the front side of the air-conditioner once attached you are ready to install the curve to insert the side curtains onto the a/c simply line up the side curtain to the track at the top and the track at the bottom of the unit do this on both sides until secure now let's secure the side curtains using the screws provided to secure the curtain is line up the hole on the side curtain with the hole on the side of the unit firmly drive the screw into the air conditioner using the three holes now repeat this process on the other side now place the cabinet into the window and make sure it is resting on the windows pull the window down so the edge of the top rail is in the front of the window be sure the unit is tilted slightly to the outside secure the curtains using the short screws fasten the cabinet to the windowsill using three long screws step for installing the window brackets from the inside of the window reach through the window to attach the support bracket hold each bracket flush against the outside window and adjust the sill angle bracket tighten down the silikal bracket then attach the brackets to the bottom of the cabinet do this on both sides now you're ready to install the foam installation use the foam to measure the window from side to side cut off any excess you'll place the phone in between the two window panes this creates a seal and prevents unwanted air from coming into the house next using two people slide the unit into the cabinet reconnect the ground wire and control panel snap the front panel back into place and screw it back in using all four screws we attach the filter and snap the faceplate back into place congratulations your air conditioner is now installed and ready for use
