AC installation on Horizontal opening window

hello everyone today I'm going to show you um how I'm going to put this window air conditioner into this window over here so uh this is not a new one I used last year so it's was in the storage now I'm going to put it back so I need to install the side panels first so yeah so it goes over here so first what you need to do is um just pull this one like that then um insert in this um little I don't know what to call those ones yeah just insert here like that this a little um hard plastic here it's supposed to go over inside here so it's kind of a little tricky so you need to pull this this panel to the end okay one down so the next go next one go need to go over here like that another one like that okay so now pull this one way to the side and there's a another place to go this under one okay and over here the top one here like that okay so now um you can adjust according to your window size so if the window is not uh opening too much you can keep it like that if the bigger window you can expand like that so okay so it's ready to go go now I'm going to install over here so first I uh remove the the mosquito whatever the bug net first and um open the window there pully usually you need a two people but in this case I'm try by myself but please don't drop your AC onto the ground once you uh settle the AC over there it won't fall see all these edges need to go to the frame of the window the wire supposed to be inside I made a mistake I need to put it first okay so now you can see under here this need to go inside the window frame okay good now it sit over there okay now you need to close this window to cover this part here it will up okay now it won't fall but it's not very I just need to put a little support for now okay that's I hope it will not go down okay okay now I need to go inside uh and uh secure this AC okay before that I I have my old Parts I need a ladder so um I am going to put this um ladder for support because I don't have anybody to hold this one uh because my wife is doing the video so I put this small ladder uh if not you can find somebody help um just put this one for support for now maybe like that okay okay so it's resting on the ladder I mean it's it's okay uh so I need to cover the top part from inside uh this is how it looks so I have a little piece of wood here uh put it here to block the window not to go this side so uh so that way it's more secure so you can pull this ones like that yeah now it won't fold at all so because you need to have something for here not to move this window yeah now it's secured here so now I need to cover the top one that's ready to go so I cut this wood piece last time so the paint white is inside and uh back side is not painted so just uh you need a piece of wood to cover the top part so I just need to insert this one carefully need to open the window a little bit okay first insert the first part kind of a little bit tight I'm going to insert this here like that slide to the side okay so that's secured now I want to close the window again okay so basic part is done so yeah it's secured now it won't come off see I remove the I'll leave it here in case need a support you never know sometimes things happen unexpectedly so now I need to secure this one with wood pieces to be strong here so I'm going to push this boot pieces here to secure this one yeah it won't come off so I need to push a little bit this one little here to make it strong okay it won't go anywhere anyway okay now I am going to put some screws here [Music] on two and another one here for secure another one okay it's pretty strong now unless somebody hanging in there it will not go down so I'm going to so I'm going to install two screws here to make it secure the AC one with the TV cannot do it [Music] okay so in Canada with the season change we have to remove these AC's and put it back in the summer time um the one reason uh we don't want to leave it all the time it's not secure you know it's for all the time um the other thing is this is a this window is opening this way it's little tricky to put a window air conditioner if the window is opening this way upper way um it's pretty easy so this is a little bit tricky though that's why I just want to show you um yeah now I can secure with this wood piece here won't go anywhere so yeah nobody can move this one [Music] too yeah so now the trick is uh how to install um uh blind for this window I'm going to show you that part too I already have a blind already cut uh fit into this uh AC so uh I cut this blind from this side uh just fit into the AC so now I'm going to install this blind again okay good okay this is good for another summer time so now um this is the best solution I can find for this uh small room with AC and with the blind good good for a hot summer
