12 Mods That Take Hogwarts Legacy to the NEXT LEVEL!

open World Games a thumbs up is also enough probably the most important mod in this video is called SQL menu if you know anything about modding unlike me then you will know that Hogwarts Legacy stored a lot of information in the SQ file of the game SQL is short for structured query language and can change databases for games for example some mods therefore use this opportunity to change things in the game the problem here is that only one SQL mod will work at a time unless you merge them together using the mod merger but even after updates there can be many problems here and if one mod in the merged file doesn't work anymore because you know it isn't updated then any other mod doesn't work as well because everything is in one file and this is what the SQL menu mod is for this mod allows you to change things in the SQL file yourself in the game and then activate or deactivate these things as you wish and the exact lines of code could therefore be given to you by the mod creators or if you know enough about it you can also create them yourselves and just type them into the SQL menu in the main menu in the game now you may know that if you want to take a picture of a beautiful landscape a creature or just anything else the hot elements can often get in the way sometimes you just also want to play without the hot elements and having to turn it on and off in the settings all the time can be very annoying therefore you can install the toggle Hut mod which can easily switch off the HUD with the help of reshades at just the time Touch of a button in particular the caps lock button the only problem here is that not only the map Etc disappears but also the menu display and the inventory but that can also be reactivated by just pressing the caps lock again but I personally always expected a compass at hogwart's Legacy you know that minimalistic display at the top of the screen that shows you quests and stuff like that and this type of compass is added with the dynamic Compass mod markers Quest symbols Etc are displayed here it is definitely not as detailed as the minimap so for example you are not shown everything in the near vicinity it's more like a well broad indication what you have marked or what you have activated right now so it's kind of a mix between you know having a mini map and having no minimap it's not a map it's not no map it's kind of a thing in between which I really like for example as it increases the immersion because it just pulls you you into the game much more easily you can also use these small UI mod to make that hot than significantly smaller so that it doesn't take up the you know lower third of the screen which I think is very much because the map sometimes is too big for me the icons are too huge and with the small UI mod you can you know scale that to your liking maybe just on 50 85 75 whatever you want and this is something I really really appreciate and while you then follow the compass on your journey you can also do that with much more style because in the long run the broom might get a bit boring so we can just fly through the air like an aura for example with the aura flight mod although I find it much cooler to fly through the air like a Death Eater in a black cloud of smoke basically and this is called the dark arts flight mod by the way if you install the mods please read the description very carefully as many mods for example the aura flight and the dark arts flight mod you know need more mods to work properly or to be installed in the first place for example they need a specific mod loader I think it's called ue4ss it's kind of a thing from Unreal Engine and these things need to be installed for the mods to work then properly but let's get back to Hogwarts Hogwarts is nice but in my opinion just plain empty at night and it feels like a dead place that castle that hasn't been visited for centuries because you don't even see students sneaking around or prefects looking for set students and the Knight all mod changes exactly that combined with the insomnia mod which is already automatically integrated here you will now find students throughout the castle at night however these are significantly more than you would expect and also are mostly these students whom you see in exactly the same place during the day so it's kind of a copy and paste mod but it's just something that makes the castle more alive and also in the common rooms you will find a few students who probably can't sleep in there for past the time here which is then the component of the insomnia mod here and when you sneak around the castle at night you might want to take a look at the hourglasses to see who will soon win the house cup while there are no house points per se you can change the indication of the house points with a house point changer mod you can basically fill or empty the hourglasses and I have personally finished the story a long time ago so I think that's why it's not working for me but if you're not done with the story yet you can just take a look at this mod and basically test it out yourself and you can then with a shortcut just you know increase or decrease the amount of house points a certain house has so if you then do that you will not see the effect immediately so you might want to save and load the game again or just fast travel to make the effect work and you can not only change your house points you can also change your entire house in another video I showed you a mod that does exactly the same thing but the change house UI adds a cool menu that lets you always see which house you're actually selecting also this mod just works much better as the other one because with a button press you'd never really knew if that worked but here you actually know if it works because everything takes effect immediately but one of the best mods in this video is the all roads lead to silence mod which simply has one task remove the repetitive and really annoying dialogue in Hox meat a mod I've been waiting for a long time actually so no more it seems like all roads lead to hawksmeade or is there anything Cozier than hawksmeade I get it after the hundredth of time I get it so that's no more but then when you want to go out and fight enemies you'll find that at a certain point in the game the enemies are just too easy even on hard mode which is the hardest difficulty everything is just too easy you know that is a around 30 or 35 where everything is basically a child's play but the mod harder modes therefore allows you to make certain things in the game much more difficult either the enemies have more health or do more damage or are constantly scaled at level 40. you can also merge everything together with the mod merger or if you know how with the SQL mod but it gets even funnier with the next mod because this allows enemies to spawn many times more in the open world so if you meet an enemy group that normally consists of three goblins for example it's now not three it's more like 6 18 36 or even 54 instead of three of course your PC has to be powerful enough because you know 54 enemies or even 18 at one place at one spot isn't a thing that a you know average PC just handles because it is actually very very straining when it comes to Performance but however if you would like to know how to expand your room of
