1,006 Mile Test Flight To The World's Busiest Airport, 10,000+ Airplanes!

got my coffee and uh looks like he's still working on the plane we're supposed to we're leaving right now we're packing up right now nothing like a thousand mile test flight uh hey hey so uh what yeah in the green there's 60. we got a bird [Music] 95 oh yeah we are full we are out of runway plant city traffic twin cessna 310 echo bravo departing the area a thousand miles to the north when city we got a ways to go so we're going all the way to 9500 feet you want the flight controls sure all right you got the flight controls i got the flight controls you got to fly controls keep this on course there and below 3 000. go ahead and almost directly north huh yep worth a thousand miles and we got a delta air lines at our altitude four miles out i can poke through the clouds right under it look at that how cool is that you know that was probably right on the line because he's now 1500 feet below it so he might have been a thousand no deal did your butt just go totally dumb now yeah we're flying so far so good we have some pretty angry clouds over there nice little gentle clouds right here as you would see our turbulence indicator looks like everything is still well within uh specifications you'll also have to pay attention to what time we get in because they have the airport closed for the afternoon air show and so we'll be coming in as soon as that's over with i think those clouds right there that little puff is what uh what the green stuff is so yeah we'll go ahead head right through there and then we'll probably gone back that way or actually we might cut there and then just head straight up which way [Music] all right we're gonna cut this way and then go that way just so we're not crossing over that cloud layer right there looks good cause that looks like a front that it that looks like the actual front line there see how up through there's like always a gap where it's pushing all this stuff forward and then that's the the front line itself i'd much rather be above all this crap than underneath that 1200 feet trying to go through it that is no time to pour yourself a stiff drink yeah so we'll just play it by ear and if it starts to get bumpy and rough we'll just drop it down a little bit see if it smooths out [Music] hey there's our vinsta flap and put the brakes on boom a little bit yeah we're a little too slow all right rudders alive there anybody in the fbo and see if they'll fill us up we made our first leg we did a lunch stop here at a grocery store deli thingy and uh decided to like really really thunderstorm on us so better sure to be fine well styles what do you it's think yeah rain a little bit you know no idea this cell popped up and now we're stuck here for i hope just a little bit and we'll be able to get out of here but uh if not then i you know when you have time to spare go by air right purple is bad red is bad those little squiggly lightning bolts are definitely bad kind of landed right here in the middle of this fantastic all right well let's just see how long uh this goes and then we'll be on our way hey neil and silas i've got here the total for how much it costs to fill that airplane up what's your guess i'd say um 800. okay silas what's your guess 300. that's how much it was two years ago put in the comments section how much you think it cost to fill it up and if you're right on the penny then i'll let you pay for it it was 721.57 it's close that's only halfway and this was one of the cheaper fuel spots at six what was it six something 6 30 6 29 started the rain again and we think we're coming toward the end of the little thing coming through so you know you feel a little bit better uh yeah i ate something it's not agreeing with me probably all the chemicals from polishing oh yeah now we delay four hours pour out something long time and because it was such a long delay now we can't get into oshkosh tonight so we're going to have to find a hotel and go to oshkosh first thing in the morning it works it works when you have time to spare go by air clear prop whoa time for round number two can i get a clear prop free throw traffic cessna 310 echo bravo taxing outputs runway one one free build now do you say runway 11 or runway one one one are you ready you ready neil let's go all right let's go ahead and lock and load throttles are up we got 5 000 feet of runway if anything i don't like pull it back stand straight ahead here we go let's see what this little girl's got there's airspeed coming alive that take off never disappoints oh i got the water on my foot there we go we're pretty heavy right now beers are coming up everything is looking good in the neighborhood uh shows here three hours and 24 minutes ahead when added wow 45 minutes to the bottom wait till we get up the crew speed too oh that's true we're still doing only 120 knots right probably not a good time to mention that i forgot to go to the you did bathroom kidding i saw you starting to get just a little bit of a headache yeah me too at least i don't have to go pee yeah hope auxiliary tank empty and it flashes vote for jimmy and we'll get to ride in that jet all right all right here we go i'm gonna do the run-up while we're fighting all right you're getting that come on good morning uh number 647 mike mike runway three zero foot land traffic circuit uh three and a half miles to the north west all right these two want to be landing but holding short of your runway okay look at that traffic not anymore here's coming up we're committed survival information in india one four five three familiar with these procedures and the notice endeavor uh transition is in effect reaching endeavor pick out an aircraft of similar performance and follow that aircraft northeast along the route to rip in that ribbon you're going to join the two two tracks go north eastbound at that point we need you a mile and trail mile nose to tail not side by side it's not up and downs and mavericks you only want to prove to do the inverted procedure and you'll continue northeastbound we'll identify you as the 5th and give you your transition to the runway from there welcome to oshkosh all right bob what do you think we're good and oshkosh not gonna lie i'm a little bit nervous but we got this thing baby follow the numbers close it up head on the horizon feet not on the brakes i mean you know what you're doing yeah this is pretty out here isn't it that's a good plan in spots if something goes wrong yep like right there and there get the ball everywhere welcome to oshkosh 11 o'clock we're now on the green lake transition reaching green lake start the procedure from there pick out an aircraft of similar performance and follow that aircraft northeast along [Music] look at all this traffic seven o'clock well we gotta follow the railroad tracks out that way i think i think they call us that rip into what we're talking about i think [Music] about a half mile south assist rock your wings rock good rock keep going north eastbound along the tracks one thousand uh you can start down to one thousand eight hundred to the gravel pit from there it'll be a right downwind to runway two seven towers going to be on 118.5 right right traffic 12 o'clock two miles 700 feet below [Music] here we go all right on the green dot thank you all right we need our finish thing over there the twin that just set it down now nice job nice job turn right next uh turn either turn left in the grass or right next hard surface follow the flagman welcome oshkosh thank you thank you turn to kelvin pointed at the orange stock clutter land [Music] probably the only room that's left is in the camping section i don't think i've ever taxied this long we just landed in the in the world's busiest airport and it was so busy that he broke his glasses and you know what i think are you serious i think we know some people are you think we might be able to fix this for you that would be awesome now we just you got your hiking boots on because we're literally in the south 40 and i i don't even know how many miles it is to get back that way at least two
