didn't know about whose line is it anyway ready good cuz here we go number 10 whose line is it anyway started as a show in the UK underground and ran for years before it was brought to the United States the host of the original show Clive Anderson was invited to be the host of the American version as well but he actually turned it down when he found out that the show was going to be shot in Los Angeles and didn't want to put up with the traffic of Southern California true story number 9 the legendary Robin Williams made a guest appearance on an episode of whose line in 2002 but if you remember his hair was blond now why is that Robin Williams wasn't a natural blonde well it was actually because he made his appearance on whose line at the same time as the filming for his cast appeared on the UK version first well everyone except through Carrie after Clive Anderson turned down the hosting role Carrie was brought on board in fact Brian stills and Drew Carey were both on whose line at the same time that they were both on the drew Carey Show leading to many inside jokes in the first few seasons number six the American version of this show featured three main cast member and then a fourth who rotated out for each episode the three mainstays were Colin Mochrie Ryan Stiles and Wayne Brady with the lineup of rotating fourth members being chip esten Greg Proops Jeff Davis Kathy Greenwood and Brad Sherwood but did you know that Colin and Ryan are the only two cast members to be on every single episode of the US version of the show despite being a mainstay cast member there are three episodes in which Wayne Brady is absent also speaking of fourth members did you know that Greg Proops was in Star Wars go back and watch the podrace in the Phantom Menace well if you can survive that long and listen to the announces of the stadium sound familiar not everything about this reindeer is tiny number 5 many viewers favorite cast member on whose line was Colin Mochrie but did you know that originally the producers didn't think he was funny enough in fact Colin didn't even make the cut when he first auditioned for the show he auditioned a second time and got on one episode but then was let go because they didn't feel he was really funny enough it wasn't until his third audition that he got himself a regular spot on the show number four one of the fan favorite games on whose line was filmed of in which the cast would watch a scene of a movie without the audio and make a new scene out making up the lines as they went along however there was one game of film dubbed that had to be removed on September 9 2001 they aired a game that featured the legendary Sid Caesar that involved a few mock Arabic moments in jokes due to what happened two days later the game was eventually completely removed from future reruns of the episode number three now no one really wins at whose line is that anyway because the points really don't matter but what if they did if you add up all the scores of every single episode you'll find that Wayne Brady is actually the true winner with over fifty billion points at the end of the eighth season with Ryan Stiles in second place with a little over 11 billion what about everyone's favorite Baldy Colin Mochrie well believe it or not Colin actually only garnered three billion points making him the overall loser oh man thank God the points don't matter number two ever wonder why seemingly every game of hoedown is negative well that's because the actors hated it but just about all of them going on record stating it was by far the hardest game now this often led to negative hoedowns by Ryan Stiles constantly using it as an excuse to shoot insults at drew Carey and the show's producers and finally number one a fan favorite game on whose line was party quirks and which one cast member hosts a house party and the other 3 are given strange characteristics or identities at the party and the host has to guess who they are by the end of the game one of the funniest playings of this game involved : mo Cree being suspicious that people are not the gender they claim to be and trying to find out for sure being the committed comedian he is mo Cree proceeded to walk around and grab the genitals of his male and female co-stars on stage the sequence had to be heavily censored of course but the uncensored version was released on DVD and can be found right here on YouTube thank God but the recording was almost pulled from the episode completely as it seemed impossible to send through the game
