well welcome today I am so excited to bring to you your 2023 guide to Tesla accessories a lot of these accessories are good for the model 3 and the model Y and I do show you in this video some of them in the Y some of them in the three but the list is the same these are the 10 accessories you must have in 2023 and make sure to stick around to the very end because I've got some bonus items for you as well real quick though if you enjoy content just like this don't forget to hit that subscribe button and by giving this video a thumbs up it really helps to get this video out so what I've done is I have put these accessories into three separate categories we have Essentials we have protection and then we have the fun and the enhancers so kicking things off with the essentials these are the things you're going to want to have the day you take delivery so these are items you probably want to order beforehand and if you just took delivery might be time to go ahead and get these on your car first up is mud flaps because of the way that these cars are shaped road debris rocks everything they kick up get your car protected with mud flaps it is the most effective way to protect the paint from Road chips 3D Max spider floor mats are the best they are not the cheapest but there's a good reason for that they're high quality really good material I have been a huge fan of these floor mats and I've had them since our first Tesla back in 2020. now unfortunately Tesla's no longer come with center consoles in the tray and under the armrest so you're going to have to get these yourself now Tesla I believe does sell one for the center for about 30 bucks but you can get a two pack of a basic one with flock material or the Spigen one that I just recently installed I really like the Spigen one it is definitely a more premium feel but for traditionalists here's a two pack pretty inexpensive not too bad of course no piece of technology is complete without a screen protector we have a screen protector on everything in our lives and this massive 15 inch screen is no exception these are pretty inexpensive you can get matte you can get clear I personally like Matt and a big portion of that is because I film all the time so reflection is a big issue I have to go with Matt anyways and now over to protection and these are going to be the items that are going to help preserve your car help it look new for much longer let's dive into it starting with ppf of course I have done DIY ppf on all my Teslas and I've done this four times now this has been one of the best investments I've made with all of my Teslas and working with Drive protected shop code btg20 will give you 20 off I highly recommend at least at minimum do the front end of your car that way the front of the car big flat painted surface is protected this area is going to be exposed to most of the debris that's going to kick up on your car at least protect the front end of your car if not the entire car now one tip for you if you decide to do the entire car I recommend doing it in phases I did the front third first then I did the middle then I did the rear this helped to break it up because it does take time in addition the front bumper now comes in a one piece or it comes in a multiple piece I recommend the multiple piece you will have separating lines but it is substantially easier to install well worth the Savings in time and effort by getting the multi-piece bumper and then next we have ceramic and it's not just paint ceramic but also the interior there's two different products here for my tesla.com this ceramic kit it is a two to three day process this is a very good high quality ceramic and it does take 24 hours to cure each layer there's three coats on here and then there's also a maintenance product that if you want to restore that shine if you follow us on Instagram you have seen our pictures this car has almost 45 000 miles on it now and it still shines so nice on pictures especially the ones I post on Instagram it's because I have ceramic on top it continues to protect the car now if you get ppf you need to put ppf on first before ceramic ppf will not adhere to paint if it has ceramic on it otherwise if you're not planning on doing PP PF you can just straight ceramic coat the car onto the interior this leather Shield is a good product it's worked pretty well for us it's just an added layer of protection to make it easier to maintain I highly recommend at least doing this as a preventative maintenance from day one especially if you have kids getting in and out of these cars just protect the seats it's not that expensive one kit will last you two to three applications depending on if it's a three or a y I got two and a half out of it because I did two wise and I did half of a three next up is the good stuff these are the fun accessories the things that are going to enhance the Driving Experience so first up this was a huge transformation for very little cost on our model 3 these Uber turbine wheel covers are fantastic they make the wheel look 19 inches instead of 18 and they help go beyond the rim of the wheel giving you more protection these things are not that expensive and I think it transforms the look completely you get these at test Kings I've got a link in the description of course and while you're at it go ahead and get a case that you can hold you or Arrow covers in nice if you're like me you like to be organized this case is not very expensive but it does hold your hubcaps really nice the arrow covers in here and it separates them with a nice padded piece between each layer one of the biggest improvements I've made on a day-to-day usage was putting a door seal kit on this and this has really helped with more than just road noise yes it improved road noise quite a bit it improved wood noise but what it really helped with was a buffeting issue we had with the liftgate on our model y by installing this it completely eliminated that there was just somewhere a little bit of air somewhere getting through and it adds this air buffeting feeling inside the cap the car that's gone thanks to the door seal kit again not very expensive not very hard to install highly recommend it now we're going to talk about adding storage to your car these are some pretty cool accessories that I enjoy having let's take a look these cargo tubs are pretty new to the market these ones I just installed and I basically took the look of the two side pockets in the rear amount of why from looking like a mess to at least looking more presentable and when everything's stuffed in there and the lid is put on now I've got a flat floor all the way across and I can put more stuff on top I really like these not too expensive and a pretty good value in my opinion but don't forget we can also put a hidden compartment underneath the armrest from Spigen this one's pretty cool goes in pretty easy and I quite honestly forget I have it sometimes it's actually really good hidden compartment if you want to hide some valuables from being out in the open and finally underneath the seat there are a million different types I will give you two options the one I have is an earlier version It's a soft sided one and it sits in there with velcro it's kind of nice because I can just put some stuff down there and it won't roll around on the floor now there are some plastic ones now that are a little bit more durable and pull out like a shelf so I'll put in a link in the description for two options on that this next one is from hand show it is a phone holder but this phone holder when I got this a couple years ago this thing blew me away this thing is awesome it puts the phone right in front of you so if you're on road trips you can use Waze and it's right there in front of you but it also charges your phone so it does both of those things and it does both those things really well it's not too hard to install with codebtg you will get 15 off so make sure to check this out could not recommend this enough so although those are the 10 accessories that I recommend I actually have a bonus round so if you are a family man a family woman you have a family these next three accessories these are for you first and foremost with car seats you know how dirty things get and if you have white interior like us another layer of protection is always appreciated these seat covers are super easy to use super simple not very expensive highly highly recommend them they come in a pack of two two car seats you're set and then just recently I finally got some seat back covers and I had some ppf on the back of these it was a pretty cool idea these seat covers they're a pleather they're very durable and they're made to look exactly like the back of the seat so they don't stand out quite as much but they still offer quite a bit of protection so if you have little kids that their feet constantly touch the back of your seat these are a really good investment to consider they come in a pack of two they install very easily and they seem so far to just kind of stay in place it does add a pocket there so you don't lose that pocket in the back of the seat really good investment and then the final item here is an iPad holder and I have had a number of iPad holders in this car because we have two boys on road trips constantly having a place to put their iPads has always been value add these ones I discovered not that long ago and what's nice about these is they mount onto the back of the seat and the iPad just slides in there so you can put a movie on both kids can watch whatever they want they can plug their headphones in so if they're watching movies these things are really nice these are very inexpensive and these are a very creative way of installing iPads into the car without doing a whole lot of work and not just suction cupping it to a window so check these out really easy to put on to take right back off and store when you're not using them highly recommend these for kids so there you have it those are the 10 accessories I recommend for 2023. did I miss anything big let me know in the
