10 DOLLAR TREE HACKS THAT ACTUALLY WORK! (not Pinterest junk!)

if your jaw is not on the floor by the time i finish this video i have not done my job let's do this [Music] hey guys welcome back to do it on a dying with katherine today i'm sharing with you super weird and mind-blowing dollar tree organizing tricks i know you're going to love first we're going to start off with the bane of everyone's existence at least mine laundry if you want to make the process of folding laundry easier you've got to pick up six dollar tree sink mats you're going to connect them together to make a folding board [Music] [Applause] we have used ours for years and years and absolutely love it and it's held up super well now these sides are going to stay together and the bottom one has to be able to fold up and this is a super easy way that your kids can actually help get that perfect fold so your drawers stay organized and if you didn't know for your out of season pillows and clothes dollar tree sells space saver bags i have used these for years and they work super well as long as you get a tight seal on them suction the air out and this makes for really easy storage and i found you can reuse them multiple times and they still work great and now it's ready to go into storage just like this i love these let's talk about some bins and containers and mind-blowing moments and i know as much because you guys always message me about them buy the stacking bins from dollar trees i use these all around my house put a little bit of hot glue between the bins i know that sounds so simple but it will help the towers not fall over if it gets knocked i really feel like this was a game changer for me once i started doing this ah i about flipped out in store when i saw these clip lock closure storage containers ones with the purple lid you know are my favorite i use them all the time they come in a new larger size the same price just a dollar i am so excited to use these for those bigger snack containers super score and they just released this [Music] next time you're in dollar tree be sure to pick up chop mats these are great for chopping vegetables they also make incredible craft mats you can also use it for scoring things if you don't want to ruin a table so that way you can just do it really really carefully you can see here the hot glue just kind of rips right off so if you get any hot glue on anything it easily comes off but if you didn't know these also work really well as fridge liners some people like to use place mats but i think those slide around too much these are awesome and you get two in a pack next are some fun things to use for your kids i love the book bins in the dollar tree back to school section and if you did not know you can actually write on these with a chalk marker i get mine on amazon i'll be sure to link it down below it's the best quality that's the one you want but we do this all the time and if you haven't already get the handled bins from the dollar tree and take an old shower curtain tension rod you also need one pack of dollar tree shower curtain rings you can actually string these baskets right on the rod to keep all of your kids bath toys you could even do this for shampoos or loofahs or whatever you want to we've done this for years and it's held up super well [Music] also for your kids or in closets or any dark spaces are the mini push lights they are led and they're awesome they're super easy to change out i've used them before in lockers but they also work really great in deep or dark pantries if you haven't checked them out you absolutely need to you can even put them in your kids dollhouses super cool [Music] for me when i'm shopping at the dollar tree it really helps to think outside the box i really like taking silverware drawer organizers and using them in our bathroom because they're so easy to wipe down so next time you see something in the dollar tree maybe it's even in a different section think how could you use it this was said to be by a viewer take a dollar tree pot holder and some plastic bags and just sew right down the middle and you have an instant little organizer for all your jewelry when you go on vacation and you can add a button to the front if you want to i thought this was so cool i love when you guys send me things [Music] i learn so much from this community all the time and i am so grateful you are here if nobody has told you today you are enough i cannot wait to catch you in the next video and i will see you there bye i don't want to sound too informational i just i just get really excited okay so ready oh gosh that's exactly what he's doing can we teach you to fold yeah maybe him yeah i think you're almost ready yeah one more year [Music] you
