| 2021 | How To Export GIF and MP4 Files in Opentoonz

hey guys it's sebastian here from nobel frugal studio and today i'm going to show you how you can make open tunes export mp4 and gif files this is the updated version of a previous tutorial which is now obsolete because the download showcase in that video no longer exists and yes you heard me right in order to enable the mp4 and gif export option to open tunes we need to download an fmpeg build from their website following the link in the description will take you here ffmpeg.org click downloads on the left now i'm using windows so if you're on mac or linux this process could be a bit different for you but if you're a bit savvy i think you'll be able to fill in where i leave gaps i'm going to go over to the windows builds of fmpeg and choose windows builds from gyandev in the previous tutorial we were using the builds from zeranoway but since then that has been removed hence the updated tutorial so right here it lists four variants of the windows builds we're going to be downloading the get essentials version since we only need a few files to get importing and exporting working in opentunes so let's scroll down to the get subtitle right here and download the get essentials so click this link all right once that's downloaded you can close your browser but don't close the window that you're watching this youtube video on locate the file that you just downloaded and extracted so i downloaded this yesterday i'm gonna right click it scroll down to 7zip and hit extract files that way it'll give me an unzipped folder that's organized the same way that it was when it was zipped okay open up the extracted folder and navigate to the bin folder within here's the bin folder there you're going to see the fmpeg executables that we now need to link to opentunes you could link open tunes to this bin folder in your downloads but i often clear out my downloads folder so i don't want anything important to be in there so i'm going to select all of these copy them and then make a new folder in my open tunes directory to paste these files in by default it's on your local disk open tune stuff right click hit create a new folder and name it ffmpeg open the folder and then paste the executables inside to finish this whole process off we have to start opentunes and then link it to the ffmpeg folder that we created that contains these executables so let's start opentunes once you have the program open close the start screen go to file preferences and then import export where you see the peg path click the three dots on the right and then use the browser to navigate to the folder we made called ffmpeg so it's in a local disk which is c opentune stuff ffmpeg choose after that all you have to do is restart open tunes and you should be able to export gifs and mp4 video file fires mp4 video files e let's hit render output settings hit the drop down menu next to the name of your output and see as you can see we have gif and mp4 hit that and then hit render thank you guys so much for watching i hope this helped you i think this one was definitely more concise and straightforward than the last tutorial so i hope that helped you guys who are a bit confused if you want to support free animation tutorials head below in the description where you can find my patreon page thank you all for watching and i'll see you guys next time peace special thanks to omr for supporting this channel on patreon if you want to see sneak peeks in the latest news about my upcoming short film castle dark you can gain access to all patreon exclusive behind-the-scenes posts for just one dollar a month all you got to do is follow the on-screen link to my patreon page thank you in advance
