are all right this is the real thing Korean barbecue in Korea we actually appeared in an advert for this back in the day yeah they got me to like do it over and over again and every time they did the new cut they were like okay but just more crazy and then we saw like the ever and I I look like a psychopath [Applause] [Music] this your first time in a real career match it is yeah yeah what is this is this for a headache it's a nice little trick Oh like wet towelette all right okay I'd really like to get some of these pills okay now this you may recognize that kimchi that is in Phoenix completely basically this is all to complement what is going to be on here which is the meat now I've got one of these for weeding the doggy you've got what sorry you burn them yeah yeah yeah it's kind of funny that they're showing you all the cute pigs while they're alive yes like herding them towards their death this is what you're gonna eat yeah that is really funny they had a good life you know a couple of months you see that that's a laser right yeah cool yeah what is the bat yeah looks like an ashtray this is nice this needs some go back this is war probably something similar you would have five yeah made it for you yeah I'll let you be the judge of whether it's better it's better here the pork shoulder oh yes pigs are quite fat and when you quite fat your neck and your shoulder sometimes becomes indistinguishable well okay first be a proper Korean barbecue in Korea cuz I've had the equivalent of Korean barbecue before in the UK are cooked by Olli but this was a whole league better let me grab you one of these leaves have you in there sort of like spinach hmm it's like a special leaf cool yummy number four in enlightenment really nice how you need help no I would if I could this is like it sure is now when the food's there we're getting it to your mouth is a problem is a mission chopsticks a bit of a challenge I've eaten with chopsticks before but Korean chopsticks are kind of flat and designed to make it really difficult for you to use something I probably should have introduced you at the beginning of this meal actually inside these seats if you lift that up there there you go they even have an apron for you great kind of handy the little things like that that you can't arrest on in Korea that this guy's not there doing my am chopstick technique is definitely something to be desired that's your next little challenge to pick up with your chopsticks oh job now we literally would not beat garlic spike back I mean we use garlic in cooking but we always kind of crush it or grind in our in every in chunks and chunks no yeah every time that I've been to this place I eat so much that I feel sick like literally every single time when we did the advert I think we ate maybe three or four pigs total and by the end I was literally just sitting in a corner going like is there anything specifically that you're looking forward to in Korea I've heard that they eat a lot of seafood yeah that's true do you like seafood I do okay that can be arranged although I remember a video of you eating something fermented that was not such a good idea you were the worst yes I think you might have to try that it's definitely from the sea at some point it lived in water it's just for the sea and now it's from how we've got love Korean history to show you how young people live how the older generation live we want to immerse you in the most honest but entertaining and fun Korean experiences that we can get you sounds brilliant at the end of the episode Stan we say honoring Yogi catchy performer in [Music] my experience of fast food places in the UK is like McDonald's and I was intrigued to see how different this was I'm actually really looking forward oh look her basically they have these flavor packets break it up it's smells gross put the RJ Berger knife a good burger they marketed it well apparently there's so much pride there it's sort of a edible cardiac arrest but my egg when your arteries are firing up you need to start thinking about things right okay so maybe we won't finish that one then [Music]
