variant would dissipate we pray lord god that your people will be united the races will be united our governmental system god will be tamed and you bring sense and order out of what's going on in the land we pray for peace in the middle east god we pray lord god that you would protect your people israel god we pray that you would keep us in perfect peace as we keep our minds stayed on you god hear our prayer today god here i'll cry today touch physical bodies heal people from the top of their heads to the souls of their feet people god who are so hurt and so god out of it that they can't even didn't make the connection but tony was a cool dude and he would always embrace me as his bishop he'd be in that lobby out there and he would shout out to me and just a big i just love this spirit and uh i regret that i was not present i really do i had some other things going on but i regret that i was not present and to henrietta i want to give my love you're a vital part of this ministry and tony a vital part of our ministry here yeah y'all can give god praise for the life and legacy of tony there he is on the screen just a wonderful wonderful brother a different kind of brother brother that would share his testimony and a brother that had been through some things in life like many of us and he was holding on and hanging in there and serving faithfully and was a part of this ministry somebody has been on lockdown if you're visiting today you're gonna be blessed if you're visiting today the words that i'll use the text will be on the screen there's nothing more you know kind of disheartening to me when i see people who visit a church for the first time and then want to cross-reference and look at a whole bunch of verses trust me scholarship wise i'm okay dr lee i'm all right theologically i'm sound i'm a professor i teach gordon conwell theological seminary i won't say anything that's out of shop if i extrapolate i'll tell you if i use conjecture i'll tell you if i'm paraphrasing i will tell you so just you got to have some level of trust nowadays but there's so many charlatans there's so many false teachers so many false prophets and so many ignorant preachers that it's hard to just go somewhere and relax and receive the word of the lord and know that you're gonna be all right today is a message of exhortation and there's some things that i'm gonna say here that if some of it would be prophetic but it will be accurate i promise you and somebody's going to be blessed if you anticipate getting blessed just say i'm going to get blessed already so always tell people you get distracted going back and forth to the book trying to read and listen at the same time so i'm asking you to open your hearts today and receive what the spirit is saying we have people watching us right now in africa in south america we have people that tune in weekly and uh every day practically and tap into our messages and stuff and i thank god a lot of these messages are repreached around the world i'm finding that out as i listen and hear people are sending me uh messages and say whoa look at here my pastor speaks the same thing you preached two weeks ago i said it's the holy ghost it's just the holy ghost and i'm so grateful to god that at this time when people need encouragement and people need instruction and righteousness and people need direction that as the sons of israel understood the time they knew what israel ought to do that we do have that spirit in the earth today where somebody is listening to god and somebody is saying what god is saying not preaching sermons about god but giving a word from god and i think that's been the key during this pandemic that god speaks and that god directs and god guides and that's what god wants to do in our lives individually daily be your guide the word is a lamp unto your feet and a guide unto your path he leads us in the paths of righteousness and those of us who are led by the spirit of god we are the children or the sons of god it's been directed by the spirit listening to the spirit knowing the still small voice of god over all of the light's camera in action all of the earthquakes and strong winds and all of the fire that elijah got uh when he was in that cave god wasn't in any of it but with a still small voice god spoke to him and at this hour we need to know the voice of god still in our spirit come on we need to be still and know that he is young born to pray for elder michael shaw which was my intent today who is now home who had to go to the hospital who left here this past wednesday night and god is healing him and taking care of him in advance let's praise god for the healing of michael shaw if we don't pray about these things sometimes we won't receive these things james said you have not because you asked not and sometimes it's just good to just call people names out to god and just declare that god's will be done and that what they need will come to pass you may be the person i sought me a man that would stand in the gap and god wants us sometimes to stand at the gap and sometimes i just call names out i don't get down there like some of y'all two three hours your knees hurting old camel knees and you got patches then you walk around show people how what your knees look like cause you were praying for me all night no i'm not like that i put me a pillar down there and go to sleep call in your name so i'm grateful to god uh for his uh love for us his love is amazing somebody say amazing continue to pray for our high school our middle school and our elementary school during this pandemic and during this time continue to pray that god will have his way and that our children our kids the young people will come to know jesus in a fresh and a powerful way we have a christian academy where we can preach the gospel lay hands if we need to and i'm so thankful to god for that all right are we ready for the word mark chapter five verse number one then they came to the other side of the sea to the country of the gadarenes and when he had come out of the boat immediately they met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit who had his dwellings among the tombs and no one could bind him not even with chains because he had often been bound with shackles and chains and the chains had been pulled apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces neither could anyone tame him and always night and day he was in the mountains and in the tombs crying out and cutting himself with stones when he saw jesus from afar he ran and worshiped him and he cried out with a loud voice and said what have i to do with you jesus son of the most high god i implore you by god that you do not torment me for he has said to him come out of the man unclean spirit then he asked him what is your name and he answered saying my name is legion for we are many also he begged him earnestly that he would not send them out of the country now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains so all the demons begged him saying send us to the swine that we may enter them and at once jesus gave them permission then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine there were about two thousand and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea and drowned in the sea so those who fed the swine fled and they told it in the city and in the country and they went out to see what it was that had happened then they came to jesus and saw the one that had been demon possessed and had the legion sitting and clothed and in his right mind and they were afraid somebody shot glory [Music] sitting and clothed verse 9 then he asked him what is your name and he said my name is legion for we are many today from the subject call it by name call it by name father help me now touch my mind in my heart touch us and make us ready to receive in jesus name amen i'm going to continue to teach and continue to preach with the purpose the single purpose of helping as many people as i can cope with the times that we're now living in how many of you can follow that pattern in my preaching and teaching that i'm just trying to help you cope with the times that we're living in right now i'm not one of these blessed and rabbit and blabbit and all these type of you know you're gonna be all right type of preacher uh i need you to stop me if i'm lying i i don't i don't want to do what it says in isaiah where the people said don't speak to us truth but tell us lies give us smooth things tell us and keep this god stuff out of our face that's not me if i'm lying if i'm not helping you then just push the pause button in your life as it relates to me and hear ye the word of the lord over and over again you've heard it said that there's a spirit in the land and the spirit none of us have ever encountered or dealt with before this is a new thing this is something we've never experienced before when this pandemic hit there was nobody to call because nobody had ever been through anything like this but this is not a new spirit i'm not talking about new demons because god ain't making no more demons ain't making no more no more no more it's like the covet variant i guess that's how demons are now they mutated they mutated into something like we have not seen but they're like the variant a little more active and you know a little bit of everywhere there's so much going on now in this crazy world right and i'm not giving the devil credit for all of the activity that's going on i wouldn't do that he ain't that bad i want you all to know that god is still on the throne and that god is still at work as well and if it wasn't for him the lord god almighty el shaddai jehovah shaman none of us would be here none of us would even be listening to this message today even if you're watching online my wife and i talk and she reminded me about the history that we're making years from now data's going to be in they will have analyzed the effects that covert 19 had on our society on our economy on our mental health on our physical health and most importantly on our spirituality and during this time there's some things that are happening spiritually in the lives of those who call themselves believers this has been a very pressing time it's been a time many people now believe a purging a time like the sower sows the seed and then the trials of the tests come and many fall away and they don't have root and this has really revealed to some people just how deep they are some people are not as deep as they thought they were they panicked that they've given up on faith and they're they're believing all that the science has to offer and they're not balancing this act we have to be both prayerful and practical for sure but we have to keep faith and keep hope alive we've got to continue to follow god where we can't even trace him and go where we've never been before if he tells us to go this right here that we're going through right now have caught many of us off guard how many you were caught off guard when they made that announcement in march that everything is to shut down and you can't gather and you wear a mask and you can't go we got caught off god but can i help you god was not caught off guard everything that happens on earth is being controlled by who is in heaven and there's one that sits on the throne and i'm going to say it again god is still god his ultimate plans for us will not be thwarted or foiled it won't be prevented what god has started he's able to finish and there's no weapon that is formed against you that shall ultimately prosper there are things that come that agitate us frustrate us slow us down but it cannot ultimately keep us down he that have begun to work in you shall perform it until the coming of the lord jesus christ you're in a sanctification process becoming more and more like him and one day we'll be just like him for we shall see him as he is i'm living in hope of a resurrection i'm living in hope of what the world argues about a little word called rapture a snatching away uh haposa i'm looking for that day when the lord himself shall descend from heaven i'm looking for that day when the dead in christ shall rise first and then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air so that we can ever be with the lord i'm not looking to die per se you know if it happens great to be after the bodies to be present with the lord but the bible said we shall not all die we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye come on it ain't thanos snapping his finger it's the lord descending from heaven and coming to get his people right in the nick of time somebody said the other day before you break down you're getting out that god knows how much we can bear and he's coming for his people he's not appointed us to obtain wrath but to obtain salvation through our lord jesus christ we do not ultimately lose these times will not ultimately overcome us we are overcomers we are conquerors and yay more than conquerors through him that have loved us am i making sense so far so god is at work during this pandemic history has proven though that the people of god and people not just of god but people in the world the pandemic is going to work in for us because generally people become more open to the gospel when there is an extreme crisis people look for something people look for hope and with the church doors closed in some places and half open in other places people have a better chance of finding god over religion ah yeah when our doors were open and there was no constraint restrained as to who can come in our churches were involved in human activity that they were displaying seeking to be pleasing to god and that's what religion is man's efforts to be right with god to do something for god and people were finding religions and statues and and all kinds of artifacts that resembled something in heaven and liturgy and litany and people were coming to dead worship and people were coming to lifeless churches with praise that was directed to men and not to god but god says let me shut that down for a minute because now there's some people since we can't walk in our churches like we used to now we have to walk up to people like we ought to and share with them the gospel of our lord and savior jesus christ come on the pandemic just made many of you evangelists so now if you have a burden for god and the same passion and compassion of god you share with people where you find them many of you have tried to share through your mask at publix and some of you even have the bravery the the go-to win dixie and some of you have even had the bravery to go to walmart instead of target but when you go to these places you go and god sometimes affords you opportunities to share the good news they'll never set foot in your building and right now they dare not set foot in your building but they can step into heaven if you just share with them who jesus is and how god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whoever believes on him should not perish but have everlasting life the invitation is still a grand invitation whosoever will he's still not willing that any should perish but that all come to repentance actually during this time people are more connected now than ever technology can be demonic and it sure can but thank god for it because families now are zooming and facetiming each other and actually seeing each other more than they had in the past people panicked and started calling lulabelle and hunty jane jane up in alaska and everywhere facetime you all right y'all all right baby you need to call me more often look at the little boy when y'all have him oh unt he's 17 now you know but we just need to communicate because these times have reminded us that we're not meant to live in isolation apart from one another we are designed for community we are designed for family come on we are designed to be a part of a village it takes a village to raise a child come on two is better than one it's not good that man should be alone additionally this pandemic has forced us to rest some of us have worked harder but some of us have rest we got off our jobs even the lord rested and some of us have been working all our lives and the day they said you don't have to come in or you shouldn't come in and now some of us are resting working yep laying in the bed hallelujah working from the house now yeah doing your job we've been forced to exercise our faith and to grow during this time of persecution the people of god have a long history of growing during difficult times the more they were afflicted the bible says when they came up out of egypt the more they grew affliction and trouble helps us to grow afflictions and troubles introduces us to the delivering power of god the psalmist said psalm 34 19 many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord shall deliver them out of them all deliverance comes to those who are being afflicted and if you're being afflicted right now come on you may as well get ready be in anticipation come on living expectancy that god is coming to deliver you he's coming around he'll be coming round the mountain when he comes not really but he's coming and he's coming to deliver you james even told us how to handle these times in james 1 verse 2 through 4. he says dear brothers and sisters when troubles of any kind come your way consider it an opportunity for great joy for you know that when your faith is tested your endurance has what a chance to grow so do what let it grow for when your endurance is fully developed you will be perfect and complete needing nothing so you got to let it grow you've got to count on all joy when you fall into divers temptations when you're tested your tribulation works patience and patience experience and i need experience with god and the more i go through the closer i get to god and this has brought me these times closer to god so as a pastor i believe it's my duty to shed light on the times and to help you shine us shine as lights in this present darkness i know it's hard for some folk when the church is in the hands of so many hypocritical people false prophets false teachers yet abound jesus said they will tradition and religion abounds jesus said it would performers and entertainers abound dog and pony shows and pulpits all over the place creative ideas and witty inventions to try to get people to know the christ when the bible simply says whoever calls upon the name of the lord shall be saved there's no other name under heaven given among men whereby bobby must be saved but by the name of jesus so putting on a show and having an act and having props ain't really the gospel that might be able to get ray ray back in the back corner somewhere to pay attention but if folk gonna get saved they're gonna need jesus and they're gonna need the preaching of the gospel i'm preaching better than you looking at me see how can they call on him in whom they not believed and how can they believe on him whom they're not heard and how can they hear without a preacher and how can they preach except they be sent you need a preacher and the preacher has to preach the gospel it's the only thing that works they got to hear the word of god they've got to hear that jesus came lived died was buried rose again the third day according to the scriptures seated on the right hand of the father ever living to make intercession and he's coming back again you can't convict people just by telling them cute stories about what he did when he was here on the earth you've got to summate that thing you've got to count it up you've got to close the deal by saying hey he died didn't he die but earlier on sunday morning he got up with all power in heaven and in earth and he was the penal substitutionary sacrifice for our sins the propitiation for our sins not only did he take away our sin but he bore the wrath of god and he took our punishment in him he took it all and god so loved us that he punished his own son in our stead glory be to god so in our stead christ died for us it should have been us but he died and we'll never know what it cost so i know it's hard but some folk when they're trying to balance the reality of a good god in such bad times my wife and i talked a little bit about people who struggle with the goodness of theodicy or god being god consistently god not changing and being loving and kind and just as merciful as he is when things are going haywire and we're losing loved ones and stuff is happening and things are going on around us and it seems to be out of control and all of these kind of things but god is still a good god even in bad times and i want to prove it i know it's hard for some folk who are yet wrestling with their flesh with their flesh with their desires with their lower nature lusting and desiring self-satisfaction when actually living for god is a life of self-denial oh what a what a conundrum huh what what what a seeming contradiction well what a paradox that we are to live a selfless life and yet the self wants everything it can get out of life uh you always hear me say this and i don't like beating people over the head with this because too many of you have said it you're living your best life now if this is all your best life can you imagine you on a trip somebody this your best life come on you're in the bahamas this is your best life man come on i've been to the french riviera what do you mean the bahamas that can't be your best that's not the best life has to offer the best life has to offer is abundant life now and eternity when this is over and it all comes from god so stop all that living your best life pushing up your things your tattoos and acting crazy on the screen and people looking at you and carrying on you people be holy testing one two in a pandemic people are still divorcing fornicating getting addicted to drugs fentanyl is killing people left and right people are still slap acting the food the times we are now in it looks like the prophesied lasts at the last days and yet folk still don't want to do right and folk people are people who are lost on my man the lord coming soon well get right get right before he comes soon i'm talking about the world people saying these are the last days you are a prophet so if you ought to want to get right with god you ought to want to find out what it means to be right with god and so we need churches that can resemble something that god had in mind when he said jesus people are having difficult time finding god because they can't find the people of god they can't find local churches that look like god they can't find it so i want to encourage somebody today about who they really are and to remind somebody today of the overwhelming never-ending reckless love of god come on i speak today as a bishop i'm transitioning a spiritual father a prophet and a servant of the most high god i know that folk need uh some blessed assurance right now spiritually physically mentally and even monetarily i also know some folk need some strongholds him i i i i i have come to preach today about the stronghold breaker the true demon buster and our way out of no way his name is jesus but hear me good i need some people under the sound of my voice to cast down some of your imagination i need you to destroy some of the things that have come to plague your mind and your thought life the bible said we should guard our minds that we should cast down imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of god and bring those thoughts captive into the obedience of christ but there are some things that bombard our minds that keep us from fully experiencing all that god has for us number one those things are disruptive images of ourselves people don't realize that you're already accepted into beloved people don't really understand that while you were sinning christ died for you come on god loves you with an everlasting love he is love number two horrifying images of god himself god i just told you is love and he loves you glory be to god so i always tell people if you've disobeyed god how many y'all i'm gonna need stop me from lying if you disobeyed god went down the back alley of i ain't gonna serve god no more broke another one of the ten commandments then broke three more on the other corner and ran down an alley to never come back to anything that resembles the church or the kingdom and bumped into god you'd bump into love that god would be right there arm stretched wide i died for you i don't know about y'all but that's good news that god is love that he will receive you don't you know that while you were messed up christ died he didn't wait till you got it together it's when you don't have it together that you need to come run into god it's when you're at the worst that you need to come running to god it's when you've done the works that you need to come running to god it's when you're in the worst predicament of your life that you need to come running to god it's when you're in the worst bondage of your life that you need to be coming to god it's when you make the biggest mistake of your life that you need to come running to god it's when you worry the worst about life you need to come running to god it's when you cannot control your temper and you don't have any balance in your life that you need to come running to god it's when you know you deserve to die that you need to come running to god thirdly bondage to disruptive habits we people what does it mean he that the son sets free is free indeed lay aside every weight in the sin that easily beset you so you can run with with patience the race that is set before you that he has called you to and he that have called you my friend will justify you and he will ultimately glorify you god didn't make a mistake when he saved you come on and came nobody plucked you out of his hands come on he's got you he's got you he's got you and then lastly living with the hurts of the past these are the things that keep people from reaching full manifestation didn't you know the scripture said that if any man be in christ he's a new creature all things are passed away behold all things become new that once you once were you're no longer any more you have metamorphosized you have gone from the caterpillar moth to a beautiful butterfly you're free so just fly away come on don't be bound by what had you in the past break out of your shell us think that we can never be used to do anything in ministry and for god and i want to declare over your lives that whatever had you bound here we go it's time to get over it whatever it is that had a hold of you it's got to let you go i'm going to decree it today what would be your response because you didn't get that if right now you got the revelation that this is your set time [Music] what would you do if you got the revelation that the wait is over that today you can walk into your season today okay we're coming so first of all you need to see you properly like god sees you is what i just tried to show you do you even know how god sees you you got people that don't know here's how he sees you i'm giving you four ways he sees you number one lovable ain't nobody gonna love you with your crazy self god says you're lovable number two forgivable forgivable say it forgivable number three changeable say it changeable and number four valuable say it valuable so he sees you lovable forgivable changeable and valuable with all your baggage and all that junk in your trunk he knows all about you and still sees you valuable it doesn't matter what you let me show you there no matter what you've been through i got a bill in my hand it's a hundred dollar bill if i got it out of the washing machine the dryer it went through the washer and the dryer it got wet it got beat up it got stuck it's a hundred dollar bill i got it balled up right now i'm gonna step on i'm gonna step on it cause it just don't deserve nothing i'm even gonna pull a little water on it and pull put a little ward on it i'm gonna show it to you i'll show it to you i'm gonna show you how valuable you are to god it's got it's got wet now i'm even gonna tear the end i'll tell the end of it now it's all beat up it's been through some stuff it's got water pulled on it stuff that ain't supposed to happen to it it's been stepped on it's been mistreated but watch this gus and yvette going to the game today i'm going to give him this 100 bill and i guarantee you it's gonna have the same value that it had come on get it the same value that it had before it went through what it went through and you're as valuable to god right now as you were before you went through the hell that you went through come on talk to me you are valuable to god you have not lost your value after all the things you've been through you ought to still have joy our struggle doesn't cheapen us our struggles don't make us less important to god and we don't lose our value because of what we've been through in the past i wish i had about 10 people that could get this revelation you are valuable to god always have been and always will be so then the enemy has made zombies and emotional wrecks out of too many people in the church he's stolen our joy he's a thief he's stolen our praise and our shout and our dance not just because you ain't got no rhythm i know a whole lot of white folk who feel like god ain't with him because they can't dance on beat they clap on one three two four you know they just kind of go come on now i know a whole lot of brothers a whole lot of black folk y'all can't clap either y'all can't dance either i'm just looking at you and ain't the devil you just should have paid attention in music class and you just should have listened to some different type of music when you were growing up frank sinatra ain't gonna be able to help you when we get to shouting off up in here but anyway we lost our dance and by making us think that we're not worthy but i've come to tell somebody it's time to snap out of it come on you ain't no zombie shake that depression off of you shake that oppression off of you get that monkey off of your back let me give you a quick statistic and then i'm going to preach 10 of our entire population is depressed that's one out of 10 people are going through some form of depression what is depression depression has wound up being the number one reason why every 12 minutes someone in america dies of suicide since i've been up here three people have committed suicide in this country and it leads to depression because depression leads to despair so it's tied into being depressed and feeling isolated and unworthy no zest no get up no go the pharmaceutical industry is one of the top three industries in the world and church folk are spending their precious time in offerings medicating on valium and prozac liquor and weed come on ask shakari richardson right she said it's to cope with the death of a mama in essence is to cope with the life itself and so many people can't cope with life so they're looking for alternatives come on y'all you add to that the family problems that many of us have broken homes unacceptance competition bullying on the jobs and in school social media bullying sex abuse violent crime wars and rumors awards somebody's got to find a way to encourage the body of christ and that's what i've come to do today to let you know that though these things do occur though these things are prevalent in the earth so is our god so is the spirit of the living god and what god has promised you he hasn't changed his mind about and what god has purposed for you he hasn't changed his mind about i'm trying to help somebody what he has given to you where he's leading you you will arrive you may be delayed but you will not be denied you're gonna arrive and if you don't do it on this side i've heard a psalm that over in glory there's a new home over in glory and it's mine oh my i may live in the projects all my life but one day i'll have a room a place for me a manship streets of gold walls of jasper pearly gates come on god himself will be the light of the city there's a tree there for the healing of the nations a river that'll never run and drive it'll be happy happy how they held it no more pain no more suffering no more tears no more trauma no more drama no more virus no more nothing i will be with him forever it's my promise eternal life is mine through jesus christ our lord and if i don't encourage you if that won't ring your bell if that won't help you if that won't stir something in you if that won't remind you that this busy walk of life will one day be over and you'll fly away if it doesn't help you this day then you need to shake yourself and you need to ask god god am i truly a child of god because heaven it's for every believer everybody that trusts god heaven is your home so it's my heart's desire to raise up emotionally mature saints of god hallelujah i long to see men and women of god that are dependent totally upon their relationship with the true and the living god we've seen so many ministries where the leader dies or something happens or transitions and everything just falls apart but we want to raise up disciples where folk who will accept the responsibility to be a child of god but also accept the responsibility for their behavior as a child of god folk who will learn from their failures and not quit because they just prove to be human or not to be god i remember one time i had to mediate a meeting a pastor and his members and they were going to vote him out because of something he did and it was so it was so menial but for them it was major and and i came in and i mediated and they say well what do you say bishop about it what's what should we do i think i think we ought to get the revelation what's the revelation bishop he did this i said yeah but the revelation is he ain't god i said he you he just proved to y'all that he ain't god and what he needs is support what he needs is his love because he's a human being just like y'all and he went through some things one time this isn't a habitual continual act he messed up and now he's fetched up and now he needs to get up and normally he's going to get up if you give him a hand up come on and y'all got to help him up i need folk who don't need special treatment from a man folk who won't fall apart in the midst of a crisis folk who are not so jealous and envious and so insecure that they can't rejoice when someone else is blessed that's just what happens to be in line in front of them just stay in line baby it's going to come folk who will lay hands on themselves and don't need demons cast out of them as believers folk who know how to wait their turn i'm talking about those type of mature people emotionally stable people all of this gets me to my message all of us need to have a healthy self-image of ourselves and in our text we find a man whose life has been torn apart by something that just wouldn't leave him alone is there anybody here that just got something that just won't leave you alone i mean i remember saying to a bully or saying to somebody or a brother or sister you better leave me alone my wife told me that y'all aren't helping me i'm going over here my wife told me when we were in college i was tickling her we were just becoming boyfriend and girlfriend we may not have even announced it just yet but i was just like ticking she said stop she said leave me alone i kept thinking she said stop she said leave me alone my wife's from memphis from the hood my wife reached back and swung and hit me so hard i flipped over the couch i fell on the floor i tried to act like i wasn't dying you know i felt like i was i saw stars and i had this mouse i mean a pure black eye i played basketball so i told him i got elbow underneath the basket trying by one of the players and that's why my eye was shut closed for two weeks but she hit me i was 18 years old and from that day i ain't never done nothing people ask me and say why ain't y'all in there y'all he never had a fight i would lose that woman can hit i never been hit that hard before in my life but nobody ever had somebody say stop it leave me alone i ain't playing with you leave me alone y'all ain't helping me y'all gonna leave me out there y'all still trying to figure out why she hit me and and stuff i'm telling you and and and even she got mad at me one day my wife ain't never i'm telling y'all i don't tell you all this she ain't i never heard a profane word i ain't never heard of cuffs i ain't never in my life but one day she had had enough and i had done something and she looked at me and i'm gonna cuss i'm gonna say jeff what she said you red dog [Applause] we weren't saved we're just back in the day she just called me a red dog that's the worst thing she ever said to me red dog for somebody you ought to be thinking god that that's all she got in her because some of y'all don't heard some crazy stuff but we need healthy images self-images of ourselves the man in our text had an unclean tormenting spirit this wasn't epilepsy y'all this wasn't a grand mal seizure y'all that's what i wanted to know he had an uncle spirit so the text indicates that these devils had him to the point where he didn't like himself now i told you disruptive images of ourselves so mark 5 5 always night and day he was in the mountains in the tombs crying and cutting himself with stones so he obviously hated himself but the scripture said we should love our neighbors as ourselves but this man was hating himself please hear me good please don't hate yourself please don't hate who you are god made you just as you are god made you tall god made you short god made you with black hair with brown hair he knew what he was doing and please don't try to play god and try to change from what god made you please i'm talking to somebody out there please don't try to change the way you were born please don't try to change the way god ascribed for you to live in this life this man in our text obviously didn't love himself or maybe just maybe here's the real deal he didn't love what he had become and there's so many of us we fell into where we are we became what we are and now where we are we don't like because it is different than what we were this man i'm sure once was a family man what was a good sign what was in relationship with other people what's worse able to enter the temple but now he's in the tombs and he's cutting himself he hates himself he hates what he has become and what he had become kept him from those previous relationships kept him from his family and kept him from friends and i'm sure he had those relationships but now he's living in this graveyard and literally has lost his mind and what he had become actually was keeping him from the help that he needed because he needed people he needed to be around people he needed to talk to people because no one the bible said could tame him controlled him everybody was afraid of him nobody wanted to be around him because of what he had become and there are some things in our lives that we have become some habits we have picked up and people don't want to be around us anymore and while we're wondering what's going on with them maybe we need to check ourselves because there might be some stuff that you're doing that's offensive to them and they don't want to tell you he was bound but we'll see here that there was something in him that wanted to be free because it wasn't him it was the spirit he had a spirit that was confusing him and there's a spirit of confusion in the land today watch this folk know they need to be free but don't want to be free people know what's wrong with them but they seem to be confused i know i need to stop there i know this right here will be your cancer i know that this gonna lead to depression i know my kidney and my liver ain't gonna be able to hold up under what i'm doing but stop being confused and stop doing it give it up come on y'all folk believe that there's a god but they don't trust him it's a spirit of confusion come on y'all there's some people how many people do you minister to and you witness to and they say i believe in god i know there's a god but they won't accept him many are in the valley of decision but it's also a valley of confusion where folk are just blinded by the liturgy god of this world he had a tormenting spirit and that tormented spirit said this in mark 5 7 what do you want from me jesus son of the most high god it's god's name in god's name don't torment me what do you want from me what do you want jesus son of the most he knows who he is if he's the son of the most high god then he is emmanuel which is being interpreted god with us is going to make sense in just a little while in verse number eight for he had said to him jesus come out of the man you unclean spirit jesus had commanded that spirit to come out of them and now he feels like the demons are going to be tormented and they're going to be cast out of that country this is a spirit so jesus spoke to the spirit the man had a spirit y'all dying on me controlling his life the spirit had a name he spoke to the thing that had him jacked up and was hurting him the spirit that was in him there was a spirit that needed to be broken off of his life i know people that have spirits that have been passed down to them that need them broken off of their lives generational demons and curses that need to be broken off of people's lives generational things that harass them and follow them their daddy didn't stay with his wife beat his wife abused his children and so now that same spirit is on them their mama was lazy slick and thick a conniver and a gossip and now that spirit is on them their grandpa was a drunk couldn't keep a job divorced five times and now that spirit on them nine babies with ten different women and now that spirit is on them it's a spirit whatever that is that has you messed up and it needs to be broken and that spirit has a name there are some things harassing some of us that need to be broken before they get on our children and on our grandchildren and there's some spirits that can't be canceled out they have to be called out and so we can't let our negative binding spirit that comes on us to get on anybody related to us abraham the lion spirit isaac had a lying spirit jacob had a lying spirit passed down from one generation to the next and now we got pimping spirits and player spirits and prostitution spirit hustling spirits we dealing with twerking spirits have these spirits are passed down lying spirits and crack spirits and meth spirits and fentanyl spirits and murdering spirits and gang spirits that we've got too much word y'all in us and around us to not have the power to break these spirits and to destroy these strongholds jesus called them out called them by name the man in the text had an unclean spirit he had something that wouldn't leave him alone but there's something interesting about the text and you got to get this remember son of the most high god he still worshipped mark 5 6 and when he saw jesus as far off he ran and worshiped him here we go was about to get good he was worshiping while he had a spirit that needed to be broken off of his life that ought to be news for somebody in here you're wondering why you can still come into the sanctuary and lift up holy hands it's the same today people are laying praying and laying on the altar and they're still bound people are singing in the choir and still power people are praying preaching in the pulpit and still bound ushering and bound deaconing in bout interceding for others y'all not helping here and still bound he was worshiping and he was still bound he came and bowed down at the feet of jesus but he had something harassing him something that wouldn't leave him alone something that wouldn't let him go something that had separated him from others something that made him become something that he didn't want to become something that had him hating himself something that had him hurting himself something that had him thinking about god and and knowing that he needed god there was something in all of this that was something that was saying worship him worship him and i'm telling y'all there's something in this room today somebody under the sound of my voice it's been hell in your life but i hear the word of the lord worship him the bible says he worshipped him and he was bound but it didn't stop him from worshiping him he ran to jesus he ran to jesus and worshiped and jesus said to the spirit that was controlling him come out of the man uh he ain't gonna come out until you bring it to jesus it ain't gonna go away until you bring it to jesus ain't gonna leave you alone until you bring it to jesus and the devil's making you think because it's there you can't come to jesus no but we can come boldly until the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time and need it's because of jesus that we can come it's through jesus in which we come it's the name of jesus glory be to god so jesus is not here in the natural today to call things out of us and to get things off of us we've got it better than this demoniac we got it better jesus is now in us come on you can lay hands on yourself come on you can lay hands on your sons and your daughters you've got the power you can lay hands on your spouse once you discover what it is you've got to speak to it and call it by name come on don't play with it call it by name mark 5 9. then he asked him what is your name and he answered saying my name is legion for we are many what is your name in other words legion there's a lot of us in other words it ain't just one thing you've heard me say this a hundred times it ain't just one thing if it ain't one thing it's it's another if it was just one thing we'd probably be all right i thank god if i only had one issue come on some of y'all would be happy as a pig and slop if you only had one issue but you got a legion you got a lot of things now legion could be a few many black you know but you just got more than one come on y'all not help me how many y'all got more than one pig come on how many all got more than one issue this man ought to help you today because he had more than one issue and still came and worshiped at the feet of jesus but watch what happened to him good god almighty glory be to god when jesus got through with him here's what he looked like when he got up from the worship experience here's what the bible says mark 5 15 then they came to jesus and saw the one who had been demon possessed and had the legion sitting and clothed and in his right mind sitting and clothed and in his right mind not cutting himself not running through the tombs not crying out not screaming and screeching uh with this dreaded sound that was keeping people up that could hear that were bouncing across this lake no this man was sitting down he was still he was clothed in his right mind sitting at the feet of jesus and i've come to encourage somebody under the sound of my voice in here and at home just like the demonic in our text regardless of how many things you've been dealing with you can be clothed and in your right mind starting today you don't have to be stressed you don't have to be anti-social you don't have to hang out with dead folk and touch dead things you don't have to hurt yourself anymore you don't have to have the disruptive images you don't have to hate yourself anymore somebody in here and under the sound of my voice has been waiting to be made whole wanting to be free you've got a legion of problems a legion of issues you've got circumstances beyond your control and i'm telling you i'm prophesying this day that there's power to set you free and you are the one that possessed that power ephesians 3 says now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think and we can do it according to the power that works in us come on john said for greater is he that's in me then he that's in the world come on you've got the victory christ in you it's the hope of glory there's an anointing abiding in you you are filled with the holy ghost you've got power over all the power of the wicked with power over the power of satan power to tread on serpents and to cast out devils you've got power and god told me to remind you that in these last days the promise is i'm going to pour my spirit up on all flesh and your sons and daughters shall prophesy i'm going to pour my spirit out on all flesh come on i don't care who you are where you are if you are a human being the spirit of god is available to you for the promises unto you and to your children and to as many as a far off even as many as the lord how god shall call what had you power what is it that you remembering you once were what is it that you were doing to hurt yourself when did you start going crazy and go astray i'm telling you the breaker is here i'm telling you that jesus that showed up the difference in you and the man in this text is you got the power in you it was an unclean period spirit that possessed him but now this possession is by the spirit of god living in you he was possessed with the spirit but now the spirit of living god possesses you what is it that keeps you broken needy what is it that keeps you up all night what is it that's disrupting your house what is it that's causing you to make the same dumb mistakes every time what is it that has you fearful and afraid what is it that's holding you back and keeping you down what is it that's telling you you're no good what is it what's his name call it out and set yourself free you got to call in tough by name call it by name when he worship he got free when we worship when we praise when we pray when we bless the lord we too can be free but when you get there you gotta call it by name you can't be coy roy you can't be shy style you got to do what you got to do to get what you need to get you want that monkey off your back call that monkey by name call it by neighbor depression get off me oppression get off me pain get off me my mind trouble in my mind lose me fear call it by neighbor come on last adultery fornication homosexuality laziness racism prejudice addiction call it by name i wish i had somebody call it by name give it up turn it loose why jesus is here he was cutting himself in the tomb and then jesus showed up one day i'm telling y'all right now this might be the day jesus shows up in your life in a tangible way somebody here needs to know that he already knows what your condition is he needs you to acknowledge what your condition is he already knows what's got to hold to you he needs you to acknowledge what's got to hold to you and the moment you confess your sin he's faithful and just to forgive you and to cleanse you out from all unrighteousness come on talk to me here if you're telling me what he already knows if you'll agree with him what's already wrong with you i promise you there's deliverance for you you can be clothed and in your right mind you can be emotionally stable you won't have to strip out and freak out any longer you won't be worried about who said what about you nobody can roll their eyes and upset you nobody can do anything to you that would make you just go off and lose if you are a child of god if you are filled with the spirit of god then you got it better than the demoniac he had all kinds of problems but he came to jesus he had all kinds of problems but he ran to the lord somebody right now you're still sitting there like a gator by the lake you're still there like a water on the pickle the pressures of life have you worn down trouble got you depressed you can't even give god praise right now everybody in their mama on their feet clapping their head anticipating deliverance anticipating getting free i am not you you just sitting there i know you got problems no you got dilemmas no you got circumstances no you got issues no you need a breakthrough no you need a blessing no you need god no you need to be free no you want to get back with your family no you want to get back with your children no you want to get back on that job know you want to get back to your house no you want to get your car back no you want to get your apartment back no you got repo no you got it victor know you're about to get evicted no you ain't got no time to be doing nothing but getting right with god but you won't get right with god confuse you about nothing give god some praise bless the lord in we're identified by these things these things are requisite to being a child of young don't let the enemy ever stop you from doing these things and when you feel yourself slack in these areas here's what you do you bow down and worship him you fall at his feet you let him have his way in your life god loves you and he has a wonderful plan for your life listen if you need prayer salvation if you atmosphere of sowing i'm surprised the number of people in here who haven't just voluntarily just sold on their own but this is an atmosphere of giving so when your eyes are clear up and when you come down in the spirit or even right now just go to your phone five different ways to give you can give electronically don't miss this moment don't don't enjoy the word and don't hear a word and don't get caught up in the presence of god and not realize that these are one of the things that requisite to being a child of god and that is your giving so we want to give we want you to give at home and we his holiness it's his righteousness he alone is holy and he shares it with us through jesus christ who wouldn't serve a god like that there's stuff out here but we're still here and for that we ought
