YouTuber Finds Bomb, Police Evacuate City! (BOMB SQUAD)

what's up guys jake here today we're on the chattahoochee river and i'm teaming up with my friend britain to scuba dive an old world war ii military base bridge well the military base isn't here anymore i think it's destroyed or like abandoned but there are artifacts to find in the river we're looking for guns or artillery shells or anything that kind of revolves around that military base back in a day it's gonna be so much fun i hope you guys enjoyed this video if you guys do leave a like if there's support maybe i'll do another one like this in the future get all my gear laid on my truck let me show you guys everything real quick so here's some of the scuba gear i'm using today to start things off i've got my scuba rig for this i'm actually gonna be able to breathe underwater for about a couple of hours i also got two super powerful dive lights so if we go underneath the bridge looking for stuff i'm gonna be able to see with those i also got something new in my inventory called a lift bag with this lift bag i'm actually gonna be able to blow it up underwater and bring super heavy objects like a safe full of money to the surface very easily so i'm excited about that i also got a pair of goggles my camera on top to record all my adventures so i can share all that stuff with you guys here on youtube if you're interested you can actually buy these exact same pair of goggles in my link in description box below they're not paying me to tell you guys this but i use them from ever since i started scuba diving they're super comfortable and i highly recommend them i also got a dive knife they cut me free of fish line or any other like debris if i get stuck and a collection bag for any trash or treasures i find along the way but with that said let's get suited up and hopefully find some great stuff underwater so brent and i are all ready to go britain's in the water all i got to do is walk down there and start diving towards the bridge let's do this thing [Music] so wow [Music] oh [Music] so [Music] oh [Music] is um oh hmm [Music] what is that it's an artillery shell from world war two dude wow the base it's live it's live scuba diving and we put the ordinance right over there on the bank we kind of put it far away from anyone that's coming up with a canoe or anything let me show you guys what this thing looks like before we call the police there it is right there check that thing out man so we did some research we think this right here is an old world war ii mortar we don't know if it's still live and you know meaning that we don't know if it's going to blow up or not so we have it way over here away from everyone else we're taking a risk right now to show you guys what this looks like what we're going to do is call the police and then they might have someone like bomb squad come down and take a little bit further look at this we just don't know exactly what we've got ourselves into here but we know for sure it's better to get this out and get into someone like professional hands because this could blow up out here in the river while someone's having fun and they can ruin someone's day but that right there is crazy man i've never seen anything like that before we definitely got to get away from this fast come on gwinnett county 9-1-1 i think i think the police are coming right now i hear a fire truck i hear police sirens this is going to get next level and we knew it because this is like a real deal bomb so this is exciting let's go ahead get down to the boat ramp show them where we found the bomb and uh yeah it's going to be cool come on that thing is about 30 feet 30 feet oh my god i was holding it that's awful man he said the kill radius is about 30 feet and i was holding that thing so we got a few police officers behind us they're kicking everyone out of the park we have a lot of police officers out there on the main road blocking everyone off there blocking everyone off the bridge as well uh they're just taking all those safety precautions they're keeping us here so they can interview us about the situation but it's pretty unreal man i see this go down they actually just called the bomb squad and they're coming to see him too they got a helicopter in here right now i'm changing it right now they put my uh my shirt and stuff back on i hear a helicopter that could be the news that could be the police helicopter this is next level that's not an rpg though that's a mortar that's that will work yeah that's a mortar round not an rpg someone said rpg yeah somebody was telling us that would have been cooler yeah so you guys got bomb squad coming yeah yeah that's awesome we'll holler at you if we see you parked out there and tell you yeah all right man thank you see you later all right the bomb squad right now is taking a look at the device and uh they're gonna see if they need to blow it up in the spot that it's at or if it's a dud they'll take it away and we can't be there for that but you know we found it on the edge of a pillar and i was just thinking about this it's pretty crazy because if it went off the whole bridge could have collapsed killing multiple people so in my eyes i think britain is a hero in this situation he's very brave to pick it up brave and stupid but it is what it is you know we never know exactly what we find but i think everything worked out for a
