what is one myth about watermelon that you can remember well i remembered i was told never eat the watermelon seeds that it'll grow inside your belly wow you believe that well they're younger yes i did i scared the doorman see do i did i got really scared now i remember when i was growing up my mother would always say and my grandmother you better not eat that watermelon so late at night and of course me being the type of person i am is like why why not well i understand now why not i'm a little older a little wiser i understand fully is that why you don't want to eat watermelon at night one of the things that happened is watermelon is a little acidic so eating it late at night or in the evening it will cause you not to be able to digest the water now if it's hard to digest at night that means you're going to have a sleepless night that's the reason you don't want to eat more than midnight and there's also some other um fruits like tomatoes it's not something you want to consume late at night it will cause the same issues let's keep this nice [Music] i don't know if you've seen the video that i made going to the farmer's market and trying to choose a watermelon and i had some good information so whenever i get information i want to try for myself so that's why i have this watermelon one of the things that he did tell me to how to choose a good watermelon and like he said something is okay i did that um but there's some things that he was talking about that um especially outside can give you uh a good indication that you're gonna get a good watermelon so one of the things that he told me was to look for the field spot and i did when i went to the store i went to looked at this wheel spot there it is here this is where the watermelon was laying on the ground where it was at and look at the webbing i noticed that it was wide and of course to look here at the stem it's dry so he said looking at all those things i should pretty much get a good tasting watermelon so and that's what i'm doing [Music] [Music] all right oh [Music] i see some red spots of course this is a seedless watermelon well it does have little seeds in there but the thing let's taste all right let's see [Music] yep yes this was a sweet watermelon was worth buying [Music] this definitely was a sweet watermelon i guess this technique worked try and see what you think [Music] [Music]
