You'll be SHOCKED at what I found in the $5 locker I bought at the abandoned storage auction

oh I think I just figured out what this thing is I got a I've got a great idea of what we can do with this [Music] all right we're at public storage in Castro Valley just bought another one five bucks a lot of old furniture I'll show you in a second but the thing is here's the problem why am i buying anything I said I was gonna be picky yeah this is definitely 10 by 10 missing handle next piece but it's in rough shape smartest in the world two fridges right there you see that trunk I'm hoping there's junk in that trunk that's a nice piece well on furniture do you see some boxes back there we got back here I couldn't see back here five bucks people so sometimes that's what five bucks get you everything is in a really rough shape that old wood just has such a nice aroma and that's what I smelled that's probably what got me but now I'm looking at it it's like I don't know we'll see this is where the stories get good right when you don't have high expectations and then something exciting comes of it okay here's the big booties that I bought for everything seems to be in pretty rough shape let's take a peek nope empty pretty cool pizza okay let's take a peek in here VHS tapes worth nothing I'm gonna do for my part chipped VHS tapes in by the way there's three fridges one two three mm this right here I don't think it's supposed to look like that all right this is pretty funny and this little Avon box sitting on this I'm about to move this oh I pick it up and doesn't sound like soap which I thought it was for some reason I first saw I saw a Mopar soon I don't think he bunts that's very expensive it doesn't mean it's not nice and doesn't mean it won't sell it's pretty all right back at this unit bought it last week here we are Friday one full week later they gave me a week to clear it out and it's not that I'm procrastinating they just the weather's been raining I don't really have anywhere to put it I didn't have a flea market plan trip trip plan so here we are I've really been regretting buying this one five bucks is not the investment I've already sold like I don't know 80 bucks 90 bucks something out of out of the few pieces I took home but I think I took the best ones the fridges I'm worried about because those could add up to disposal fees maybe they work but I don't think so I'm really regretting this I'm like why did I buy this bad bad buy so I'm gonna start pulling this stuff out I'm gonna look at it a little bit closer I think a lot of this one's going to the dome hard to say all right update got some of the bigger pieces out the front here opens this place up a little bit but on that hit that doesn't seem to be helping this tables not too bad right here but I like that little dude I almost get a feeling like this is a Tweaker I find a lot of prescription medication bottles and just like they had so many projects like it look like they took a punt maybe they found the stuff on the side of the road they took it intending to repair it the refrigerators the furniture but they never got around to repairing me and then we find this that doesn't look like grape juice that is not grape juice and I dare not open that to smell what it might be I'll tell you what I think it is you can use your imagination hmm those youtubers from the east coast sure like their locker food maybe I save this for them for when they come to town in just couple days [Applause] [Applause] Armenian time eggs it's in really rough shape all right I threw all that junk in a cardboard box and that reveals this lose your desks built true clear through that's pretty cool so the fact that there's a maker mark here may mean that this has a little bit about you I'll have to look it up and see how collectible if there's any collectability - who's your desk it's not a bad look I mean it's just a very simple little desk looks like yesterday rough shape here but it's solid wood so that can definitely be sanded down I like doing that kind of stuff I just don't have time for it anymore because doing the storage locker get you does take full time at this point at least if the volume I'm doing as well as making videos yeah that box is on VHS and so is this one or VHS teeth that's the sanity this it really does look like a Tweaker unit this tin right here is actually pretty cool I can sell that be worn as a pin or his opinion it's pretty cool this looks like something from the 80s Early 90s all right it's all out here's the aftermath a lot of stuff I stuffed a couple things in my back seat and then over here I've got a few bags those three bags right there I might take home there's a couple boxes in the back seat all that stuff's gonna go home and be looked at a little bit closer and see if we can find anything good in this locker because so far not so much and we're at a scrapyard and then we come here before that's pretty cool dang so you get out the emails cool stuff to wear get all this this here is all of these good stuff that I took out of that locker it's almost the whole locker went to the dump this is the good stuff right here now this like that might maybe that's brass I'm gonna check that from brass this is not exciting but that's easy twenty bucks I think for the winch or want to be calling hoist actually that's pretty much all garbage right here couple flea market items but this just got some interest this has got a lot of interest right here this box this is an iPad I don't know what that is we already looked in that it's remote control cars death miscellaneous this is in this what G case I have peeked in there just make sure it wasn't like a dead body or anything close you want to look it's just close I don't know I don't know I said I peeked in I saw clothes do you want to look do you want to go through it get some gloves on good tune you have to really think about it hmm let me see you know I'll tell you what there's like tons of viewers right in this camera right here they're gonna be watching this and they're gonna say I would love to go through that suitcase right now that looks super fun of course they're gonna go through it with us that's why we record it put on YouTube but it's not the same as going through it do you want to do it really it should be an easy question okay she said no but I just put in here and unzipped it let's see what happens I'll take that okay ladies and gentlemen we're in the wild and we just set the suitcase out and we'll see if this wild beast here what she does this is nature uninterrupted what some glass sure go get him huh this is gonna threaten me it's a it's a wine opener target me it does right there I like it nose hair trimmer something it is I touch that with my hey yeah yeah is it one package for nose hair trimmer and you're out yet there we go all right we're gonna do this proper gloves tripod let's get to it Plumbing Supply Company and all the way Old Navy shirt actually that's burning put that aside all right bring that to the thrift store Russell athletic wear sure that's actually pretty nice compression shirt right there brush brushy-brush eyeglass repair kit it's either gonna go to the flea market or to the thrift store I'm not sure okay Wranglers so short so so so make sure there's no cash in the pockets there oh yeah fishing knife I'm in Taiwan that's pretty good all right this is what we like right here Levi's and they look like they're pretty good shape we're gonna check this right here yes that's five dollar bill this I'm not sure three bucks this is like a nice actually a nice little bag kind of surprised to find it in here because everything else in there was such garbage six volts charger that's pretty grody though that's grody put it aside just case we find that whatever it goes to you but if we don't I will likely dump that one oh look at that you know what the funny thing about that is I just about ran out of deodorant this morning I'm down to the nub and I thought I'm gonna have to go buy me some deodorant unless I find some untouched deodorant there's a nice little flashlight there's another nice little flashlight batteries are dead it says Humvee on it saline nasal spray some funky junk in there for men one hair coloring kit what do you think should I keep that here that's strange keys in pins see that pins whoa stun gun check it out I thought that was a flashlight look at that button I saw that I'm like uh-uh that's a wicked lookit is that for just like a split second okay that's getting put aside we're gonna have to take a closer look at that later wait a second wait a second there's a switch right here yeah the light did come on I think I think he's right at the end of his juice age-defying cream Three Stooges so you probably recognize those three guys from somewhere yeah but the rest of this bag nothing too exciting some halfway decent clothes sunglasses DVDs nothing of real value but much better than the rest of the locker as far as I can see I don't see any broken pieces I don't see anything that's snapped off that's very interesting it looks like a little tree no it's made in China maybe it's not all that special oh yeah the paints actually flaking off okay two more this bag in one box but saving the best for less that box looks good all right another bag a lot of more stuff to go through just want to make quick mention that the dump cost me a hundred and three bucks with all this stuff I took there that's definitely a lot more than I normally spend at the dump but overall I mean it was a lot of stuff so I'm not complaining okay here's the grand finale right here I peeked in here so I I do have a feeling about it I think I may have seen a wallet and I saw just a little bit of good stuff in here I'm gonna show you right now so not all not really that much good stuff I'm not like I hoped like broken broken knife right here the guy was a Tweaker turns out I did find a crack pipe in the locker I never got the shot of it I threw it on a box meant to take the video I got distracted cuz there's people right across the hall from me unloading their locker and got to the dump and realized oh my goodness I just dumped that thing and I didn't get the shot and I didn't want to grab it out of the dump bring it home crack pipes don't come home with that's kind of my policy yeah that's something yeah it says Jeep which makes you think oh maybe it's good quality then the paint's on rubbing off 10 to 10 bucks this is me and China pretty dope though yeah handcrafted in China what a big surprise thumbnail baby this one Pez in his floor receipts receipts all receipts sit down here let's take a look at this Oh nope so you might have heard that we've got these East Coast guys come to town in just a couple days actually Jesus is on a plane right now and they're coming out so we can do this big collaboration slash competition and not gonna be much of a competition against those guys but that made me think I think I can use this for something good what do you think maybe I bring that to the auction make things interesting but before I do any of that I would have to test this out and make sure that it really does work I know it looks pretty and sounds scary but I wouldn't bring something like that out there unless I knew that this is legit so I'm gonna test that out but first let me just show you how the sales came together on this locker you'll see alright first up we sold that sewing table you know I let that go really quick and easy ten bucks I just wanted to see it go away also rain was coming I didn't have room for it it was a great deal for somebody next up was this treasure chest trunk thingy yeah that had the look I really liked it I listed for 50 bucks that's about how much these go for it's surprising what a hundred bucks will buy you these days as far as trunks go this one sold pretty quick and then I had an you know a few extra end tables I took the pieces that I thought were worth salvaging and sold them for 20 bucks locally to someone who wanted to restore them that chain hoist sold pretty quick 25 bucks locally the parent lamp that was pretty cool I did have to replace the bulb but it was beautiful once it got set up on paint was shipping but so what guy was happy to take 25 bucks that was to go into his Jimmy Buffett room the iPad I put on ebay sold within two days 29.99 this was a first gen just as I thought older but there's still a market for it flea markets kind of hard to see how much I sold because I brought out couple lockers worth of stuff but easily 30 bucks maybe a little bit more came from the items out of this particular locker we didn't know if we could do it but we did it we turn a profit so the total costs are a hundred and nine dollars yeah that's kind of a lot for a five dollar Locker but the dump did add up luckily the sales did to 185 bucks therefore all the costs most of those are Facebook sales one eBay sale and then the flea market item so profit of 76 bucks ROI of 69 percent that's not too shabby but the real cost of course is the day of work I lost in tackling this this bad Locker but we still have some items that we can sell such as the remote-control cars and a few other items but most of all is that stun gun so let's get to testing that before we before we make the decision whether or not to use that on the big east versus west competition coming up here in a couple of days let's get to it that's right tattoo but we'd never tattoo that filth on my arm going down East Coast we're gonna show the leased coast how tough US West
