just to set the message up i'm uh using a combination of this uh it's a 26 translation bible really big like it gives you like a third or a scripture or half a scripture and then it will give you three to five translations from different greek scholars following the king james and it gives the second half of the scripture like i said 26 translations then the other thing is um we have a cricket over there on the corner is a mark hankins spirit-filled study guide which he uh he does a similar thing um it's not it's not like a bible it's subject-driven where he uses a lot of translations like if you look at the chapter under the holy spirit like we're talking about today he goes through the whole bible and gives the majority of the scriptures on the holy spirit uh we sell this in the book story he also does the subjects of faith redemption authority of the believer prayer numerous other major subjects um and the other resources uh the gifts of the holy spirit by kenneth hagin senior and so those are the resources i used for this and at the beginning of the spirit-filled study guide by mark hankins on the chapter opening with the holy spirit he says quotes and mark hankins says the spirit of god doesn't land everywhere faith is the landing strip that the holy spirit lands on and then he goes and calls it mark hankins 11 23 it's mark 11 23 and right after that verily verily i say unto you whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed be thou cast into the sea not just remove it not just say it to remove it you cast it out of there shall not die in his heart but believe shall not doubt in his heart but believe that those things which he saith the second time you say whatsoever he sayeth shall come to pass so that's three says and and that's a classic faith verse i just believe that for the holy spirit it has to be spoken many many times it has to be spoken not all the time but many times it has to be spoken in order for him to land and so before we look at acts one two and three multiple translations i'm going to come answer one of these phones i just want to point out that in acts 2 1 it says they were all in one accord in one place okay for this to happen and in acts 2 2 in the king james it says suddenly there came a sound from heaven so that was the first part of that verse acts 2 2 and then the second part of that as a rushing mighty wind that's king james tcnt says that of a strong wind coming nearer and nearer the moffat says like a violent blast of wind like the amplified says like the rushing of a violent tempest blast and towards the end at the end of that verse it filled all the house they were sitting notice how you get the holy spirit in a rush one greek scholar called it a violent tempest it's like god opened the gates of heaven and he was waiting he was waiting and in a hurry in in a hurry notice how people say oh you have to be quiet or you'll quench the spirit the wrong worship song and he gets out of there they played the wrong song like the holy ghost some kind of fragile spirit that gets scared away or offended think about jesus walking through the crowds and everyone that touched him think about that chaos was healed think about that thronged with people the holy ghost thrives in chaos he's not concerned about if it's the wrong song or somebody's speaking out of place so have the holy ghost rushing to get there now looking at acts 2 3 and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like a fire so this is a discerning of spirits that they saw it's a gift of the holy spirit they were allowed to see this in the american standard there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder tcnt that scholar says tongues of what appeared to be flame separating the weimar said tongues of what looked like fire distributing themselves over the assembly the last part of acts 2 3 king james said it sat upon each of them tcnt so that one settled on each of them the whey mouth on the head of each person a tongue alighted alighted and in the moffat one resting on the head of each just explaining what i'm doing here i'm kind of jumping around i'm just really trying to drill into you what you have but you have to be conscious of it you have to be conscious of it first corinthians 6 19 you know these guys were just all kinds of sins going on paul was confronting so many different things division and so many different types of sins he never says you just need to stop use your will stop now what he says every time first corinthians 6 19 do you not know an amplified that your body is the temple the very sanctuary one one scholar called it a shrine a shrine of the holy spirit who lives within you whom you received as a gift it doesn't cost anything that means you're not going anywhere that means you can't run them out believe it or not not a gift god's gonna snatch that gift back you do that to your own kids give me that gift back you know you are not your own you were bought with a price purchased let's show what you were purchased with and paid for can we put the sculpture up there this is how you were purchased and paid for and made his own so then it says he says so then being conscious of that then you honor god in your body what we're going over tonight is something you have but you have to be conscious of it you have everything connected the bible says everything the holy spirit has for us you have it's there but you have to put a demand on it you have to you have to contend for it you have to realize come down and help me jesus now he's sitting up there you ha he's inside you one third of the godhead is inside you all of god and i know we can't wrap our hands around that is inside you and and jesus says right off the bat luke 4 18 the spirit of the lord is upon me and so the works that remember he said the works that i do shall you do also greater works than those shall you do why because i'm going up to the father and leaving you someone else all right and so he says the spirit of the lord is upon me and he anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor sent me to heal the brokenhearted he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted preached deliverance to the captives that's demons recovering of sight to the blind and set at liberty them that are bruised let's look at those translations in the jordan translation to help those who have been grievously insulted and to find dignity the roth uh second edition he anointed me to deliver a joyful message to the destitute it should be something that gives you joy and not that it condemns there's no condemnation in jesus the barclays said to send away in freedom those who have been broken by life the west translation says to send away and release those who are broken by calamity moffett to set free the oppressed that's dealing with demons the bec he sent me to announce to prisoners you are free the warrell to send away the crushed in freedom jesus says the works that i did show you do also greater works than those shall you do because i'm leaving and i'm leaving someone else with you you can preach the gospel to the poor according to this to send people on their way that have been completely crushed in complete freedom to deliver people that are captive and to bring liberty not condemnation liberty not judgment liberty liberty is not judgment let's look at john 7 38 he that believeth on me as ha as the scriptures say it out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water do you ever try to get a picture of this uh i used to be a big fantasy book sci-fi reader and i the lord just recently had me put those down and um there was this book called dune famous famous book and they made a real bad movie in the 80s but the weapon that they came up with that was so effective was sound coming from out of their midsection right and i was just like wow it's prophetic john 7 38 amplified who believes in me who cleaves to trust trusts in and relies on me as the scripture said from the innermost being shall flow continuously that's what flow means springs and rivers of living water the wade translation from his breast there will flow streams of life imparting water do you ever think of this this this is what is in you this is what is in you the co any translation shall gush rivers gush rivers think of a river gushing the knox fountains of living water shall flow the gmb streams of life giving water will pour out from his heart john 14 16 i will pray to the father he will give you another comforter that he will abide with you forever that means he's not leaving that means he's not leaving okay i'll stop there john 14 16 barclay another helper they call the comforter another helper the river that greek scholar calls it a counselor well don't helpers and counselors comfort right the plain english version a friend a friend these four different scholars translated the holy spirit that he should comfort you help you counsel you and the fact that he can be a friend to you god called abraham his friend his friend john 14 16 another comforter an amplified counselor helper intercessor advocate he advocates do you even think of that that he'll advocate for you strengthen or stand by all are supposed to be here all are supposed to be here the sanctuary of god the shrine of god the shrine of god john 16 13 how be it when he the spirit of truth is come he will guide you into all truth for he shall not speak of himself but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak he will show you things to come do you believe that really he'll show you things to come how often does he show you things to come do you put a demand on that i want to focus on this phrase i want to look at the phrase in different translations but first all these things i believe you have to put a demand on says in jude we'll talk about this next week to contend for your faith remember faith is the landing strip of the holy spirit contend for your faith i didn't really start moving in these things in small ways until i started really asking and to get to the point it's it's it's really when i get quiet before the lord after for me it is about confession i confess it out loud i'll i have a lot lately and then get quiet look at this phrase john 16 13 the bar barclay he will tell you all about the things which are going to happen wouldn't that be nice to know the way mouth he will make known the future to you the basic translation the spirit of true knowledge is calm he will be your guide into all true knowledge he will make clear to you the things to come let me just say this over you real quick the anointing which abides in you teaches you all things guides you into all truth therefore i confess you have perfect knowledge of every situation and every circumstance you come up against because you have the holy spirit therefore you have the wisdom of god and the krikmer translation what is coming will be accurately informing you you know you can put it any way you want i don't really look at it this way but i started thinking as this stuff was starting to come to me and showing me things i just it's it's a word of wisdom it's a gift to the holy spirit or a word of knowledge word of wisdom showing you things to come is a word of wisdom and so some of these definitions comes out they come out of the gifts of the holy spirit by kenneth hagin senior many times he'll show you things to come with the word of wisdom which is one of the nine gifts of the spirit let's look at first corinthians 12 8. you think i'm going to get 100 scriptures done we count all the translations all right for 21 is given by the spirit the word of wisdom to another the word of knowledge by the same spirit both coming from the holy spirit and i really want to distinguish really before these things are very important because they lead you into things they lead you to people word of wisdom is always about something coming in the future a word of knowledge is concerning things past or right now present word of wisdom brings revelation pointing out the future which includes the plans and purposes of god word of wisdom is a supernatural revelation by the holy spirit concerning the divine purpose in the mind and will of god look at first corinthians 12 11 but all these work at that one and the self-saved spirit dividing to every man several there's nine of these every man has several of these gifts on a regular basis but keep in mind any one of these nine can fall on you for any specific thing at any specific time but are you looking for it are you looking inward are you looking up are you looking up it's in here your body is the temple it's where he lives you pull it out invite it out you know it says in james he yearns to be welcomed he yearns to be welcomed do you welcome him ever if we're really talking about the holy spirit who's living inside you you have to talk talk about the things that he can do for you that he wants to do for you and in my opinion just like he was rushing to get down here in the first place can't wait to do for you these nine gifts are free because the gift the word gift is karis same word is grace freedom free costs nothing costs nothing not only can you have these gifts we're going to talk about as a regular thing but any one of them can drop on you they come through audible voice vision or dream vocal gift or prophecy or through tongues and interpretation or even just through a thought even just through a thought to give you some examples of the word of wisdom it's used in the new testament to set people apart for special ministry we'll get to that in a couple of different places in acts 27 10 we don't have time to go there before paul and all those dudes got on that boat remember when they got shipwrecked it was a word of wisdom he said his exact words were i perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage and it was there's a word of wisdom he's telling about the future just what was that nine nine words word of wisdom word of wisdom can be conditional it was a word of wisdom that was given to hezekiah when god told hezekiah to give god told isaiah to give hezekiah a word of wisdom concerning his future second kings 21 20 verse one we don't have time to turn there isaiah said the king hezekiah set thine house in order thou shalt die and not live hezekiah immediately went to his knees admitted his wrongdoings reminded god how much he had walked with him and before that prophet even got out of the courtyard god told him to go back to hezekiah and give him another word of wisdom isaiah went back in there and told him god was given gonna give him 15 more years to live so don't tell me you can't change the mind of god for someone they did it in the old testament they moses literally changed moses told god told moses i'm going to kill them all and moses like oh well everybody's going to say you took them across the red sea and you you gave the nine pl the plagues the plagues to to to get him free and you did that just to get him out here in the desert and kill him that's what they're gonna say about you changed his mind that's kind of that's you call that intercessory wouldn't in the same way he gave jonah a word of wisdom that nineveh was going to be destroyed but it was conditional nineveh turned it around and judgment much to jonah's chagrin look at look at who god used there just complained the whole way complained the whole time i don't think it ended with him happy even did it sun burnt out there half dying but nineveh did not fall in that particular generation okay this is all god's showing these guys things to come let's go back to the verse 16 13 john 16 13 how be it when he the spirit of truth is come he will guide you into all truth for he shall not speak of himself but whatsoever he shall hear that he shall speak and he will show you things to come can protect you we're talking about the holy ghost the holy ghost in action i felt like god impressed on me to start going i don't know if we're doing this next week or not right but this we're going straight holy ghost there's so much more to teach though first corinthians 6 19 what this is after he goes through a bunch of sins they committed no you not that your body is the temple of the holy ghost first corinthians 6 19 phillips have you forgotten have you forgotten online have you forgotten be honest online give me a dump truck if you've forgotten emoji they still have those i don't know tractor something weird okay it says it actually says be conscious of in one translation be conscious first corinthians 6 19 in the nib calls it a shrine calls your temple a literal shrine in the in the mon a sanctuary first corinthians 6 19 the second part which is in you he's in you you have from god in the in the nor translation he lives within you nor a gift from god the father in the king james are you not you and ye are not your own see this is this is how he's telling to deal with sin just look at it like you're not your own the ber you do not belong to yourselves the king james for the next for 6 20 for you were bought with a price the god speed you have been bought and paid for the knox a great price was paid to ransom you first corinthians 20 therefore glorify god in your body in the taylor translation so use every part of your body to give glory back to god you know and this is before i was really even listening a couple times driving home from a saturday night service go to trader joe's i don't know why it's trader joe's both times and so i did i was like all right i'm gonna see i'm gonna see i feel why would the devil tell me to just go to trader joe's and stand around act like i'm shopping he met me up with people that needed to see me or i needed to see them two different times just to remind you of something acts 10 43 to him give all the prophets witness these are the voices the words of peter that he was preaching to italians the first non-jews ever saved whosoever believe in in him shall receive the remission of sins the holy spirit dropped on him no no no prayer salvation dropped on them they were saved and started praying in tongues immediately because they heard that word those words remission of sins so know that it can happen any time see how the holy spirit can follow at all times i want to give you some really small examples i've got to set this up i can't explain it's too long to explain i'm not a cat person honestly i always look down on cat people and i had to watch people's cats two cats starting in february sad story i still have cats i've always had big dogs and and so one is a big fat puffy white persian cat i mean if he if he could talk he would have like a british accent extremely proud walks like a model you know like the other one is like grew up they've previous owner found her in a uh humane society and she lived the first eight months of her life outside and and survived she's a survivor but wants to be outside and it does not get go outside i cannot tell you how bad a little furry animal like that how miserable it can make you okay and so there's two cats right and so the but that the the big fat white one is is mad because he can't go out there but he's a target i have woods around me and behind me and he's just a target there's eagles and there's hawks everywhere i've seen owls land on squirrels i i've seen foxes kill bunnies there's two coyotes different coyotes i've seen and i'm just saying this cat can't even climb a tree okay and he got out one day and ran down the road and i remember having to carry this 20-pound puff ball back and all the neighbors are out and i was just i was like i guess you're showing me my pride lord because this ain't me this ain't me maybe we'll do an instagram me holding that cat right but let me give you a small example the one cat has to be out 68 hours a day six to eight hours a day and it it freaks out if i let it out at night i know you think that's crazy i let it out it goes out at like three o'clock in the morning and it's supposed to be dangerous i guess it always comes back but i was always stressed out going to work like the cat the cat's not back yet when the cat's not back the cat's gonna have to stay out the whole day right and you know the lord started telling me i'm i'm on the mirror you know i do use a blow dryer probably twice a week cat's there oh no way when that look he was there five times in two days so i'm like this is the lord so i started to listen i started to listen here right these little things one night i went to bed and he puts these two people in my head two people that have done nothing but try to hurt me trash me say bad things about me for the last three years right and i just read and i thought something's coming it doesn't always have to be bad you know something's coming and i just couldn't sleep i couldn't get him out of my head days later they called the church one to reconcile you know the the more the night i was up all night turning with it because i'm like i know something's coming at 3 30 in the morning the lord actually asked me a question about that because i was like what is that all about he asked me a question you know about about that if if if these people showed up and i'm sure by what i said i failed the test i was very honest with him i failed the test but he he was telling me and i did not realize it you know what i'm saying this is coming another situation even a week ago and now a week ago 30 minutes ahead of time so-and-so is going to be at your door this is not someone i would want at my door please don't ever come to my door i'm kind of jumpy okay don't ever just show up at my door but so-and-so is coming to your door you're not gonna be able to stop it okay i was like i don't want them at my door that's why i'm telling you you know i don't want you surprised they were there but i was ready i was ready see little things little things okay it starts with little things speaking of word of wisdom i i don't know if you would call it this but i feel extremely led to keep hitting this what we did last week this agreement you would call it because we're all going to do it together it doesn't have to be anything to do with a thorn in your side you know there are people that you will never get to leave you alone paul said it to keep him from being puffed up somebody and it wasn't a disease study out thorn go to the first time thorn in the flesh was mentioned in the bible that's how you find out what something means it's a person that was going around behind him undermining his ministry take them away right take them away i better even curse them paul cursed alexander the coppersmith read it and and god said no no no no no no no this is going to make you stronger if you seek me and if you look for my grace we're not talking about addressing a thorn here in this prayer in psalm 94 i just sincerely believe that people in the church need this for personal situations but the church is gonna need this at this body because when the power of god drops on this place like a hammer if you think the devil's gonna leave it alone then you know anything about the devil and even try to circumvent it from even happening we have copies of the prayer out at the guest services counter it's also available online if we can put that that online link on the screens if you weren't here last week you don't have any idea what i'm talking about all this i taught it in detail there's one line and i'm not being political i don't care it could be whatever whatever administration but that addresses the government trying to stop it okay and so that's one thing i need to explain what that means but i i believe it is something coming for this church or personally you could already be involved in this could be this could be something that when you say this prayer one time tonight it shuts down something that you never even know about before it ever even happens it could keep something from you ever even knowing about it and when we say it you don't think of people because when he gave this to me i was thinking all these people now he's god just said focus on me focus on me i'm your defender this is what this is about a lot of cases principalities powers rulers are the darkness of this world spiritual wickedness in high places i eat demons whenever you see those four words that's ranks of demons operating behind people that need to be taken out all right so we went in depth about this last week what what you are accomplishing as you're speaking this prayer i've got to take you into a little bit of last week but just to prepare you all right let me just take you to that hebrews 4 12. it's not a confession i just broke down hebrews 4 12 this is the word of god we're confessing the word of god the last third of psalm 94 okay and i took a bunch of translations the word of god is quick you know what quick means living i always thought it that means it's queen quick no living it's a living actually one guy said living thing it's a living thing it's energetic it's powerful it's sharper than any two-edged sword a two-headed sword that pierces is gonna do far more damage than a one edge it's gonna go in easier i'm not talking about people this is spiritual warfare it strikes to the place where the soul and spirit meet you know what that means that is for penetrates deeply making a distinction between soul and spirit because i never knew what piercing even to a dividing asunder i never quite got that but it makes a distinction between soul and spirit of the joints and marrow yes the innermost parts of you now think about this rivers rivers rivers to the innermost intimacies of a man or woman's being it's a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart what does that mean able to judge impulses and designs of the heart so we this is what we're about to do this is what we're about to do so when we speak this together psalm 94 remember this is a living thing it is chipping away or crushing something that you don't even know about and you may never even have to deal with it it's powerful it's energetic it's a weapon with two blades separates the situation and what your soul is saying that's your mind will and emotions and what your spirit man is saying you know how sometimes we ask ourselves are those my emotions or is that the spirit is that my flesh or is that my spirit it should get into your innermost intimacies as we speak these prayers it's going to help your impulses and it's going to help you judge the designs of your heart sometimes i'm going at people i don't even know i'm going at people you know what i mean you don't know what i mean dear okay as we speak and agree as a congregation and online over these current or upcoming situations or we'll just believe a situation that you'll probably never see quick note um it's not on here but you know i've basically i'm reading through this psalm five times a day slowly the second half of verse 12 says if you stay in the word and it says verse 10 13 that thou may give me rest from the days of adversity he he'll give you rest from the days of adversity anyone want rest from the days of adversity the but it wouldn't be in here if it didn't say you could have it and okay and it says until the pit be digged for the wicked so you guys ready here we go we're gonna do it all together on three and this is like paraphrase for us personalized all right one two three who will rise up for me against the evil doers or who will stand up for me my family and living word against the workers of iniquity if the lord had not been our help our soul would have soon dwelt in the land of silence when my foot slipped your mercy o lord in the name of jesus holds me up in the multitude of our thoughts within us your comforts delight our souls can wicked rulers be allied with thee who frame mischief by statue they that gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous and condemn innocent blood that's you but in the name of jesus the lord is my and living word chris get back with me okay switch it there's a time on the bottom of the thing so in the living word christian sinners defense and my god is the rock of our refuge he shall bring upon them their own iniquity and shall cut them off in their own wickedness yes the lord our god shall cut them off in the name of jesus christ thank you lord so that prayer is in the at the information counter back there my mother just told me this week she's absolutely positive this is a word of wisdom for the church this church pacific i believe for you and me individually some of us in here and it's something that you can pray for our nation first corinthians 12 8 for one is given by the word spirit the word of wisdom another the word of knowledge by the same spirit that's the holy spirit the revelation gift the gift of the holy spirit called the word of knowledge is never about the future it's never about the future it reveals things concerning past or present the word of wisdom brings revelation reveals things concerning the future and you know if he's going to tell you things about people and you're going to go talk about him he's never going to tell you he's never going to tell you it's for you to pray a word of wisdom quoting out of kenneth hagin's gifts of the holy spirit book is a supernatural revelation by the spirit of god concerning the divine purpose in the mind and will of god something about words of wisdom and words of knowledge both the gift of the holy spirit even though god knows everything he never reveals to anybody everything i found so many times if he would have revealed to me everything i would have blown it i would have blown it he gives them a word of what he knows a word is a fragmentary part right and it's not the gift of wisdom it's called the gift of the word of wisdom you know that psalm 94 press start out for myself and then he expanded it to the church interestingly enough he put words out of the bible and my mother sat in here last week and that was exactly what she was praying but it was those were the words out of the bible i found them in the bible if you go to a lawyer for legal advice he's not going to give you all the legal wisdom he has because you don't need to know it he'll just give you part of it the word this is the definition of the word of knowledge it's a supernatural revelation by the spirit of god concerning certain facts in the mind of god usually relating to people places or things remember this is a word of knowledge present or past word of wisdom future acts 9 1-18 okay i'm gonna have to paraphrase this well i just like this though look at what god can do to someone who's just killing the church verse nine and paul yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the lord went unto the high priest this is a top ranked chief pharisee and desire of him letters [Music] of damascus to the synagogues that he found in any of this way whether they were men or women he might bring them bound into jerusalem so he he was he could take him out into captivity as he journeyed he came remember what they did to stephen he ran the whole show pal paul ran the whole show watch it he was the leader i'll hold your coats guys and he got close to damascus there was shrine around him a light from heaven he fell to the earth heard a voice saying unto him saul saul why persecutest me he said who art thou lord and the lord said i am jesus whom thou persecutest wow that must have been a shock to him it's hard for you to kick against the pricks verse 6 and he trembling and astonish said lord what will thou have me do and the lord said unto him arise go to the city and it shall be told thee what thou must do the men which journeyed with him stood speechless hearing a voice but they didn't see anything saul arose when his eyes were open he saw no man but they led him by the hand and brought him to damascus he was there three days without sight and he didn't eat or drink now catch this okay you've these things work together i'm showing you where you got two words of wisdom and one word of knowledge coming all right there was a certain disciple at damascus named ananias and to him said the lord in a vision ananias behold i am here lord and the lord said unto him arise go into the street called straight inquire in the house of judas for one called saul of tarsus for behold he prayeth word of knowledge currently where paul is residing he gave them the address that's a word of knowledge here's a future word of wisdom for paul and that he's seen a vision a man named ananias coming put hands on him okay that he might get his sight so paul got a word of wisdom about the future all right then and a nice answer lord i've heard by manny of this man how much evil he's done to the saints he's the authority from the chief priest to bind all that call on thy name but the lord said unto him second word of wisdom right here but the lord said go thy way for he is a chosen vessel to me he's separating him for the ministry and he's telling him what he's going to do to bear my name before the gentiles and kings and children of israel i will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake ananias went his way entered into the house putting his hands on him brother saul the lord even jesus that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest hath sent me that thou mightest receive thy sight and be filled with the holy ghost and immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales and he received sight forth with and he was baptized remember now we read verse 18. so you had two you guys get that two things about the future one about the present you know even he even tells ananias i'm gonna sh i'm gonna show him he tells ananias he's gonna go through some stuff and i'm going to show him that so you can see these gifts working together second kings another example word of knowledge and operation um remember when uh that syrian general went to is elisha right elisha and elisha he went and he had all this stuff and elisha healed him right said go get in the river the guy got offended but he went dipped in the river he was healed of leprosy the guy wanted to pay him well i said i'm not taking any money so that he started on his way with all this stuff his servant or his helper his assistant whatever profit and training ran down there all right ran down there and said some of the younger prophets want that stuff all right and what happened what what elijah said he said my heart went with thee and describe this situation my heart went with thee and god showed him and the guy dropped ted second king 6 19. listen to this the man of god sent unto the king of israel saying beware that thou pass not such a place for the syrians are waiting to ambush you the king of israel sent to the place which man of god told him warned him of and saved himself not once nor twice therefore the heart of the king of israel was mad troubled for this thing he called his servants and said unto them will ye not show me which of us is for the king of israel and one of his servants said he thinks there's a there's a traitor
