voice singing aloud i bless bless your name with all of my heart sing it to my door i adore your name precious lord i know your name precious lord sing it to him i adore your name we love you this morning we love you jesus we love you come on somebody love on him this morning we love you we love you jesus we love you lord we love you a lot we give you the pranks we give you the glory we give you the honor lord [Music] father god in the name of jesus christ on this morning me and pastor amy we join our faith together with your wonderful people dear god as we continue on the fruits of the spirit versus the works of the flesh working all of us there isn't a one of us who have arrived we need you jesus god let the holy ghost work in us to crucify the flesh crucify this all the damnit nature crucify it and let the fruits of the holy ghost flourish in our lives let the fruits of the holy ghost flourish in us god we want to please you we want our light to shine we don't want to bring shame to the name of jesus all to the kingdom of god we surrender search us david said search me o god i know my heart today see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting not our will but your will be done this morning in jesus name somebody say amen good morning to you our wonderful friends and partners and viewing audience me and pastor amy we love all of you we appreciate you and we are really enjoying the fruits of the spirit versus the works of the flesh you see when you get into teaching like this it helps you to see where you are spiritually it's good for you to be located spiritually and because if you if these things aren't pointed out to you how are you gonna know what you need to work on how are you going to know how to surrender to the holy ghost if the man and the woman of god is not pointing it out am i right and the scriptures god didn't send the word to condemn you condemnation is from the devil himself the bible says it clearly in romans chapter 8 verse 1 there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in christ jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit so the holy spirit sends the word of god to confront you to convict you to rebuke you to correct you to straighten you up are you listening to me he brings the word to bring conviction in our lives so we can ask for god's forgiveness so god can cleanse us and deliver us from these things he loves you let's go to our foundational scripture galatians chapter 5 verses 19 through 21 when you follow the desires of your sinful nature the results are very clear sexual immorality impurity lustful pleasures idolatry sorcery hostility quarreling we are going to talk about quarreling this morning jealousy out bursts of anger selfish ambition dissension division envy drunkenness wild parties and other sins like these let me tell you again as i have before that anyone nobody is exempt anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the kingdom of god and in this team chapter verse 16 the apostle paul says if we walk in the spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh somebody is being healed on the bottom left side of their stomach i'm coming back to the word but the holy ghost is healing somebody take your hand and just put it by the left bottom left side of your stomach the holy ghost is healing you receive it i rebuke that sharp pain i rebuke that stomach condition i curse it in the name of jesus christ satan loosed him and let them go take your hands off of god's property come on receive it the holy ghost have just if you check real good you notice there's no pain there anymore you are healed by the power of the living god i can't wait to read your testimony right into us and let us know what god has done i want to get back to the word here now i want you to pay attention so paul said if you walk in the spirit you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh we all have some carnality and instead the holy ghost is working on the crucified the bible says in romans 8 we if we through the spirit of god mortify which means to put to death the deeds of our body we will live spiritually are you hearing me so you've got to have the help of the holy ghost to crucify the flesh and that help comes from the holy spirit as we spend time in prayer as we spend time studying the word of god and as we practice as we continue to yield to the holy ghost the bible says whoever you yield to becomes your master if you yield to the flesh you become servants of sin unto unrighteousness if you yield to the spirit you become servants of righteousness you have a choice in the matter you don't have to yield to the flesh it's a choice are you hearing me this morning now watch this the word quarreling right there means argumentative do you know anybody like that they are very argumentative often arguing often arguing disputing i mean they they are ready to argue with you over everything if you say that i mean it's tit-for-tat if you try to bring something up they're ready to show you how they know more than you oh give me a break i know some folks like that man you you you dread to pick up the phone and call them why because you know they're gonna get in the fight with you they just have no control their flesh is in full control of their life are you listening to me now watch this colossians chapter 3 verse 13 and 14 says forbearing one another and forgiving one another if any man have a quarrel against any even as christ forgave you so also do you my god he's nailing us right and above all these things put on charity which is the bond of perfectness in other words you gotta love through it love is the key love is what you know the bible says love covers a multitude of sin remember we talk about the love chapter in first corinthians 13. love is not easily agitated it keeps no record of wrong i mean the list goes on and on so when you come across somebody who is who is who loves to quarrel it's i mean they they gotta have their last say they are always ready to get in a argument with you who wants to be around somebody like that you know we we have a peaceful family mean past amy and our kids we love peace now of course everybody everybody every now and again gets into an argument you gotta humble yourself and apologize none of us exempt it from calling but you can control it are you listening to me you don't have to have the last word listen just walk away man but there are some people you were walking away and they you know listen i know folk before i got saved people would be walking away from them and they want to walk behind them man now look you begging me to take something just lay you clean on the ground come on somebody i'm walking away you falling behind me i mean you're gonna get laid out i'm sorry that's the way i did it in the world i'd take something just lay you clean out you know but but i'm saved now so i can't get away with that the holy ghost ain't gonna let me knock you out you understand but and so what you got to do is the best thing to do is try to get off the phone before you cuss you understand i know some of you been born saying but i ain't been born safe even though my mom and dad were preachers i wasn't born safe the holy ghost had to knock me down and drag me to the altar you understand and so so when you're dealing with a quarrelsome person you just got to walk in love cut the conversation short and escape look for the exercise man look for the exit sign and get away from him me and my wife laugh sometimes because you got a checklist of you like oh dear god oh god please help me some of you are laughing because you're guilty you can see that person right now while i'm talking now watch this yeah it's funny it's okay to laugh we need to laugh because we all got to deal with these kind of people and on the job i know some of you were saying well pastor sean i got to work with this joker what am i going to do listen here put up with him and ask god to get them out of there or ask god to help you reach that point where they don't even bother you anymore are you listening to me lord help all of us this morning now watch this because you got to understand where quarrel comes from listen to proverbs chapter 10 verse 12. i'm reading from the new living translation hatred stirs up quarrels do you see that you you got to understand why that person is so quarrelsome with you listen good the bible says hatred is the root of quarreling this is why they crawl with you because this person is full of hatred something in their life something has gone wrong somewhere and deep down they have a root of bitterness and full of hate and it does not matter who talks to them they are going to get into an argument until they repent of that hatred and bitterness and allow the holy ghost to set them free from that hatred are you hearing me somebody and sometimes you got to catch yourself don't take it personal you got to realize something's wrong with people when they are always wanting to quarrel hatred [Music] stirs up quarrels quarrels but love makes up for all offenses do you see that let's go into proverbs chapter 17 verse 14 listen to what the word of god says starting a quarrel is like opening a floodgate so stop before dispute breaks out in other words you have a chance to get into an argument somebody says something wrong to you and you want to you ready to fire back at them i know you may be from the 504 but i'm coming at you i'm just messing with my knee all these people i'm sorry new orleans people love to speak their mind and i'm not picking on past evening i don't know my wife is learning to control herself and i'm from the bahamas listen i come from a family we had anger issues are you hearing me i had an uncle i wouldn't call this name because i don't want a mess my uncle would cuss you for a whole hour if you get on his nerve he would tell you everything under the sun and he had a gun to back himself up so you didn't want to mess with my uncle and and you know i used he was my favorite i used to love him but he didn't play and i had an aunt and thank god they made it into heaven they made things right you know they made things right later on in their life i had an aunt i know apostle carol didn't know what i'm talking about i'm not listen i'm sorry i might as well i had an aunt called rosetta it was my one of my dad's sister you know i was a favorite nephew and listen to me now we call the tittle taylor was full i mean she she love her family now but look at her if you get on her wrong side if somebody got her upset man she just let him out but she just cuss them clean out you understand but later on in her life she calmed down and she was a changed woman god got a hold of her and and she was my favorite aunt too pray for pastor sean you know but but see they learn how to control themselves and they overcame and god gave them the victory and i can't wait to see them in heaven someday and so starting a call is like opening a floodgate you can't you can't just go back into fighting with people are you hearing me sometimes you just got to walk away from it just walk away think about it they lied on jesus and he did not answer a word now you know how all of us in america love our rights come on somebody then live well boy what you ready to you you ready to get in the ring with them you understand but watch here now listen to what the bible says in proverbs 17 verse 28 even fools watch this now listen good even fools are thought wise when they keep silent with their mouths shut they seem intelligent i love that scripture listen man before the wrong thing comes out of your mouth just shut up just don't say don't answer back don't say anything walk away and look wise for a change you don't have to tell everybody off my mom and dad used to get on to me about it when i first got saved because i i was ready to go confront anybody at any time they said that's not the way to do it that's you got to learn son go pray and ask god to deal with people you cannot fix people you cannot straighten them out the holy ghost talking to somebody what wisdom and i used to think we got to use someone to straighten them out you know they said no no no no no you're too hot tempered you they say you just need to calm down boy go pray and it was right you know and i and now that i'm much older i realize my parents were right it's not worth it to be blowing everybody out quit getting into quarrels the holy because crawling is a work of the flesh this is the flesh heavy clearly don't blame it on the devil of course he is behind some of this and tries to stir it up but the bible clearly says right here this is a work of your flesh and listen paul weren't talking to sinners he wrote this to christians who were doing these things oh it's quiet this morning i got you i got you you ain't shouting you only speaking in tongues right now i got you the holy ghost got you right he gets me too now i ain't innocent i'm preaching to me too now watch yeah listen to this the bible says in proverbs 20 verse 3 avoiding a fight avoiding a fight is a mark of honor listen avoiding a fight is a mark of honor only fools insist on quarreling now that's plain english man i love my bible oh god talks god talks plain and strong god save a person is always crawling quarreling quarreling quarreling that person is a fool and look at how look at what he said to deal with it avoiding a fight is a mark of honor only fools insists on quarreling listen to proverbs 21 verse 9 it's better to live alone in the corner of an attic than with a quarrelsome wife in a lonely house we were out a couple of days ago with a family and the young man gabe i'm coming after you gabe quoted this scripture several times it's better to live alone in the corner of an addict than with a quarrelsome wife and a in a lovely home come on somebody and listen you it can be a husband who's just quarrelsome quit driving your spouse crazy and get into prayer and let the holy ghost crucify your flesh any crawling crawling crawling all the time it's a sign that a person is lacking spending time with god their flesh is alive you know prayer crucifies the flesh studying the bible and spending time and fellowship with god he crucifies that flesh he brings it under subjection quarreling all the time is a lack of prayer it's a lack of fellowship with god your flesh is too alive pay the price and set time aside daily to seek god and watch how much he will work in your life and begin to change you my god glory to god this is what the bible says in proverbs chapter 22 verse 10 and then we end throw out the marker throw out the marker and fighting goes too quarrels and insults will disappear if there's a person who's always causing quarrels and always causing arguments the holy ghost say throw that joker out if you run into if you want to if you're running a job and someone's always quarreling with your customers they are going to hurt your bottom line there comes a time the holy ghost say you're going to get rid of them because if you get rid of that person fighting goes out and quarrels and insults will disappear lord have mercy sometimes you got to do what you got to do before they destroy your ministry before they destroy your job destroy your company destroy your marriage come on somebody i can hear someone saying what if it's your wife what if it's your husband well you married to him so you're gonna have to pray through you don't use this study this morning as a excuse to go and run get a divorce no you went and married that person and didn't wait on god's counsel now you in it you just gonna have to stay there until the lord gives you a level until they do something bad enough for you to get out of it come on somebody my god he's talking to us i just love that verse there in proverbs chapter 20 verse 3 avoiding a fight is a mark of honor only fools insists on coraline i want you to sing this with me i want to be more like you god work on us jesus work on us work on us i i want to be more like you come on and sing it to him and i i want to be more like you i want you to pray after me say lord work on me god help me not to always answer people and get so frustrated and angry and respond wrong and just quarreling all the time and arguing work on us jesus every single one of us have some calling in us that we need the holy spirit to nail to the cross this morning work on us jesus forgive us wash us in your blood you said in your word if we confess our sins you are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness work on us jesus work on us jesus work on us we all have sin and fall short of the glory of god there are some people who say pastor i'm ready to surrender i surrender all there are some people watching me this morning who's ready to make things right with god because without jesus you can't do this this is a work of god this is a work of the holy spirit at work in the new man you must be born again you must i want you to pray this prayer say lord jesus i am a sinner this morning in need of forgiveness i believe you are the son of god i believe you died on calvary cross for me on the third day god raised you from the dead you are now seated at god's right hand and soon and very soon you are coming again i surrender my life to you from this day moving forward from this day moving forward i turn my back on the world the flesh and the devil to serve the true living god and his son jesus christ friends if you prayed that prayer with me and meant it with all of your heart let me and my beautiful wife pastor amy be the first to say to you welcome
