XPLR'S TOP 5 RESTAURANTS IN NASHVILLE 2019

[Music] hello everybody I'm Stewart Deming with Explorer - this video is the top restaurants here in the city of Nashville for 2019 the way that we came up with our favorite restaurants for 2019 is we wanted to stay under the $20 budget per restaurants also we wanted to have a large variety of different flavors that you can find all throughout the city of Nashville this first restaurant that is on our list is the only one in the downtown area now what makes this super unique is there's no restaurant like this here in the city of Nashville and the food here is amazing and another really cool thing is this it's about $10 price point per person per meal and that restaurant is rise biscuits and donuts it's found on Fifth Avenue they're open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and they just have amazing Southern Fried Chicken at some of the best in town they have amazing doughnuts and their biscuits are fantastic my favorite thing to get here is the honey chicken biscuit which is made with a sweet potato biscuit and it's just delectable it's the honey just melts in your mouth I get it in my beard occasionally so I just smell like honey all day so that's a lot of fun they also have a lot of vegetarian options and as I said almost every single meal here is under that $10 price point they're found in downtown and this is the only location that they have in Nashville [Music] I'm at Joey's house a pizza that's found here off of Elm Hill pike this restaurant opened about 20 years ago in 1999 by Joey and his family his brother has another restaurant called Manny's house of pizza that's found in the arcade the reason that Joey's made one of our best restaurants in 2019 is just because they have some of the best pizza in Nashville and I would even say they have some of the best pizza in the United States I had the opportunity to go to New York City recently and had some slices of pizza and I prefer Joey's house of Pizza over some of the places that I ate at in New York City Joey's is only open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. they have amazing pepperoni and cheese pizza one of their most famous items on the menu is called the gladiator it's not your typical slice of pizza it's actually this pizza with stacks of different meat and cheese and then it has a crust over it and it's just this amazing slice you could eat one and you're completely full this is Joey's House of Pizza if you're coming here make sure to give yourself plenty of time because the line could get really long I'm currently in the Nations which is a neighborhood in West Nashville right behind me is Oscar's taco shop this is one of nine locations here in Middle Tennessee the reason we wanted to feature them in our top restaurants video for 2019 is because they have so many locations throughout Middle Tennessee they have the largest variety of fast casual Mexican food throughout Middle Tennessee including breakfast I'm in West Nashville in Sylvan Park right next to me is Ed Lee's barbecue ed Lee's has three locations here in the city of Nashville here in West Nashville over in 12 south and in East Nashville they're opening a fourth location in fifth and Broadway this is one of the most unique barbecue restaurants here in the city of Nashville they have mouth-watering brisket that tastes phenomenal ed Lee's barbecue has one of the most unique sandwiches called the tuck sandwich and you can either get your selection of meat and that could be brisket pulled or chicken or turkey and then on top of the sandwich is a fried egg implemental cheese we wanted to end this video on a hot note a hot chicken note that is I'm currently at party foul in Donaldson party foul has three locations here in the city of Nashville downtown Donaldson down in Murfreesboro we featured them in our top hot chicken video and the reason that we want to feature them in our top 2019 video is because of the consistency of food they have the most amazing hot chicken here in the city of Nashville and it's very consistent at all three locations my favorite dish here is the Cobb salad made with hot chicken absolutely incredible they have numerous spices they have the mild medium Nashville hot and the poltergeist which is their super hot spicy one and they have the largest selection of hot chicken options here in the city of Nashville from beignets to hot chicken tenders with the hot chicken sandwich and also hot chicken nachos so if you're looking for a great option and you want to experience a Nashville hot chicken party foul is the best restaurant for that I'm Stuart Deming with explore - make sure to go follow us on instagram at ex PLR - subscribe to our youtube channel also go listen to our brand new podcast the nashville daily you can find that at any podcast provider thank you for exploring with us [Music]
