Xbox Series S Unboxing | Why I chose it over Series X and PS5

good afternoon to my one subscriber and anyone else that chooses to watch this video um this video is going to be kind of random a little bit mainly because i mainly want to post on this channel tips about college and what i do to kind of get through college and also my hobbies that i have while i'm in college to keep you know a healthy lifestyle and things like that so i guess this kind of leads into into hobbies and what i do in my free time during college um but i actually about two weeks ago i managed to get a xbox series s from best buy and i actually picked it up today so i just want to make a little quick video of me unboxing it and kind of go over why i chose maybe the x the xbox series s over the series x and the ps5 just so if you guys are looking to get a gaming system you guys are in college or even if you're not in college if you guys are just wondering which one to get i'm going to give you a little i'm going to show you an unboxing of series s and a little of my thoughts on why i chose that console over the other so let's just get straight into it so guys here is the xbox series s um here is the box if you guys ever wanted to see the box here's the side um just kind of gives you know information about the system the back power your dreams xbox game pass definitely great value i'm definitely going to be getting that the other side and then you know back to the front so that's the kind of just an overview of the box what you guys should be expecting the box is also super super small which is understandable because i know the system is very small i've never seen it in person but i've seen videos and the system is very small so let's just get into opening this up okay so let's just get straight into the unboxing first thing you want to do is pull these tabs i'm assuming i'm not very good at unboxing things on camera especially yeah so here is the tab that you want to pull um let's just open this up oop kind of kind of rip the box a little bit as you can see here and then i'm assuming the other tabs on the other side yep the other tab is on the other side i'm going to pull that which again rip the box a little bit so i guess one thing if you want to keep the box keep in mind that the box actually rips a little bit if you pull it when you pull the tab so like be careful more careful i guess than i was but like i like to keep boxes so that's kind of disappointing that and that's a little weird but it's kind of disappointing that it rips the box but let's see how it opens there we go guys let's put that on my laptop right there so there is the system right here who it is really really small oh my god so here it is guys um power your dreams super cool before we open that let's let's see what else is in the box so i have this little thing tells you kind of what ports are on the on the xbox and things like that hopefully there's no code on here yeah okay no code not to blur anything so that's kind of kind of a little neat i guess and then of course in here should be the controller and the power cords okay so you get the hdmi cord and then you get a power cord of course it has internal power so you don't need a power brick anything manual manual that no one reads so let's put that back and then the controller here we go there is the controller guys it looks super nice let me get behind the camera so you guys can kind of get a better view it's very very nice i mean it's basically almost the same thing as the xbox one controller but it looks very nice why i love the white color it just looks very nice and it also comes with two duracell batteries which is i guess pretty nice so let's move this to side and then i'll open up and show the series s okay so this is the actual console itself let's unwrap this and take a little bit of a closer look at it i'm not going to go that much in depth about the specs and everything i'm not really going to be a tech channel or anything like that you know it's easy to look up all the differences between this and the series like some ps5 and things like that i just kind of want to give you guys a visual maybe if you're trying to buy it or not let's open this bad boy up that is nice that is nice right there here it is kind of looks like people joked it looks like a speaker i can kind of see that but otherwise it's very nice hefty but super small super portable here's a little closer frame of it very nice i think that's it to show you guys for the unboxing so let's get into why i just actually chose this as a college student so that's it for the actual unboxing but now i'm going to talk a little bit about why i chose the xbox series s over the series x and the playstation 5. yeah so here it is um again it's super super tiny which plays into a reason why i chose this is the size of course it's super small i travel i go to my mom's house i go to my grandparents house go to my grandma's house i go to my brother's apartment all the time and it's super nice having a tiny console that can fit in basically any bag as you guys can see how small it is that's super nice it's super nice thing to have also the price it's 300 compared to the 500 um series x 500 400 respectively ps5 so it's a little cheaper i know you there's a lot of drawbacks and it's you know it would be where if you have the money it's definitely worth in the series x over the series s and ps5 and all that but if you're really on a budget especially in college or just on a budget in general i think the series s is perfect i think the series s will be perfect for you it's super cheap to get a complete package to get into a hobby that we all love which is gaming so another big point of why i chose a series s is i'm not a hardcore gamer so i won't i don't play hundreds of games i only play a select few and i mainly play the play with my roommate and my brother and a few of my friends i don't play a lot by my self because mainly because i don't have a lot of time as a college student and also i like to do other things with my free time like going outside mountain biking if you guys want to check that video out i posted a mountain bike review video a few days ago if you guys are interested about getting into mountain biking that would be a good view to watch but back to this topic yeah gaming is something i do for fun i'm not super into i need the best performance i need the best specs i just do it to have fun and this console 300 console will allow me to play the newest games maybe not the best resolution or frame rate but it'll allow me to keep playing with my friends and my brother and all that all those different things that i want to so that's kind of my reasoning why i chose this over the series x um also i know the storage on here is half the series x but i only as i said before i only play a few games at a time it's not a big deal for me to delete them as i'm playing them but yeah that's pretty much it those are my thoughts on kind of why i chose the xbox but yeah i hope you guys enjoyed that little video of a little unboxing a little bit explanation of why i chose xbox series s if anyone has any more questions be feel free to comment if you
