Wuthering Waves: Ultimate FPS BOOST for Low End PCs!

weing waves is a 2024 game which is running on the Unreal Engine 4 and these are the minimum system requirements of this game so today in this guide we'll explore how to maximize its performance on our low-end machines with some simple graphical tweaks let's get started first I've set the screen resolution to 1080P and adjusted all other Graphics settings to their lowest preset the game also has an issue where it's capped at 60 FPS which will add later I've enabled Nvidia dlss with its mode set to ultra performance and turned on vsync to fix stuttering now let's see how the game performs with these settings well the game is still playable at these settings but we always strive for better performance so now let's quit the game and see what we need to do to improve its performance the configuration file of this game is located inside your game directory under the folder called weaing waves game client saved folder config and finally Windows no editor open the game user settings file with [Music] notepad first we'll experiment with the resolution quality variable which controls the game's render resolution and this variable can only be enabled when Nvidia dlss or other upscaling modes are disabled I've turned off Nvidia dlss to test this and thankfully the game allow allows for custom render resolutions though it cannot go lower than [Music] 33% regarding these variables even if you set their values to zero the game will automatically revert them to default so there's no need to adjust these now these two variables here they controls the screen resolution of the game and I'm going to drop it to 720p though you can lower it further if you prefer a significant issue with this game is the 60fps cap but you can attempt to change the frame limit from here so I'm putting 120 here but I'm not sure if this will work so now save the file and set its attributes to read only and now let's check the results unfortunately the game remains capped at 60 FPS but we did see a slight FPS improvement with the tweaks but we're not done yet for additional tweaking you need to open the engine.in file which is located inside the game configuration folder and now paste these variables here I'm not going into detail about what each one does to keep this concise but you can refer to my recent videos for more information now save the file and set its attributes to readon let's see the performance now you should notice a significant performance Boost after these tweaks Additionally you can also enable the potato preset in the game G by adding these variables to the engine file now save the file and ensure it's set to read only now let's see the final results due to my screen recorder the FPS changes might not be visible but trust me you'll get a substantial performance Boost after these adjustments so guys that's all for today make sure to like And subscribe and also share this video with your friends who have low-spec machines so they can also enjoy playing weing waves on their low-end machine and I will see you all again in the next video so until then take care and bye [Music]
