WTF Did I Just Hear? Polyphia: Playing God | REACTION by an old musician

that i can't even this is insane welcome to another episode of unhinged music reactions today i'm going to react to a band called polyfia i've never heard of them before but i've gotten some requests for them all i know about them is that they are an instrumental band that plays kind of i guess progressive or metal i'm not really sure the song i'm going to be reacting to is a newer one of theirs called playing god so it came out last month so let's check out politia playing god [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay before it drops don't say dropped drop okay okay uh oh my god that that guitar playing is outrageous he's doing harmonics and all sorts of crazy fingerings this is you know what i'm going to start this over again this is amazing [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh my god [Music] oh my god hold on slow down this is crazy are you hearing these drums that i can't even this is insane the level of musicianship here is in the stratosphere holy cow all right [Music] [Applause] hmm [Applause] [Music] so [Music] this is this is absolutely beautiful it's so melodic and rhythmic and it just keeps me on my toes musically like i'm trying to follow it and it just keeps going into these very interesting areas i am blown away by this the this is this is next level [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] wow that's that's jeez i i'm i'm i'm literally speechless this this is a performance that i did not expect this this is absolute next level musicianship i i just i i have a hard time understanding what i just saw it was so good so melodic so intricate so complicated but they made it look easy they're lying down playing guitar they're uh the drummer is just out of this stratosphere oh my god this this was absolutely amazing like absolutely [Music] total mind blown if if this is what politia is all about i'm a fan already i i i mean these guys look really young uh how can they be this good i mean it's wow wow i i don't know about you guys but that blew me away more than probably almost any reaction i've done on this channel that is uh absolute perfection oh my god i love that i hope you loved it too if you did please hit like and subscribe and hit that bell so you get notified whenever i come out with new videos until next time as always keep rocking [Music]
