Worst Tape Gun Ever? (I Fix it)

i have some grievances really big ones i lost my tape gun i don't know where it went i've been looking for the past two days couldn't find it in a hurry in a rush didn't have time to order one from uline any of that stuff so i just went out to walmart i got this this is the uh scotch tape 3m uh it looks like a reasonable tape gun i mean it looks really good it's metal all right i just beat the crap out of my own package but i'm sure it was something nice though so so so here's the problem okay let me explain i go and i try to oops all right there's a all right ah here's the first problem this little catch causes it tape to get stuck on these ridges okay problem number one problem number two worst design ever this safety latch that you push against the box when you're done pushes the blade forward so you can cut so only only if you're doing a basic packing job hold on i can't even get myself only when i push down on the blade yeah you see what i'm saying i wanted a three inch piece of tape that's what i got so i'm going to show you how to fix this why did you make it this way first thing you're going to want to do first thing you're going to want to do is take a piece of tape cover these ridges so it's nice and soft and smooth and nothing will grip now if tape touches it it'll easily come right off see look at that comes right off instead of sticking to these ridges next thing we got to do something about this this needs to be fully extended at all times don't have a lot of time so i found these these are q-tip the center of q-tips the thing little paper thing you hold on to that has little cotton balls on the end i just cut them off twist them now we're gonna stick them in there all right well it's not pretty okay i got those jammed in on both sides but you can see the teeth are fully enacted and this little safety thing is no longer causing me problems it was quicker to actually take this tape and uh hand do it instead of using this than this tape gun so let's try to take this box now let's see if it actually will work now whoa look at that if only you designed it right don't buy these don't buy these i'm going to go and order my old one from uline until i find it i pray to god i didn't accidentally ship it it's possible i've sent a pair of uh really high-end earbuds once you never know so that's my review of these new scotch 3m safety stupid tape measures tape and tape measures see tape dispensers it's it's got me so upset i can't i don't even know what it is anymore see you later
