hello everyone you know humanity is always striven for records and it doesn't matter what exactly was talking about whether it's technology or sports because people just want to be better than their predecessors in today's video we've collected ten different speed records from around the world which will simply amaze you you ready to check them out then let's get it on running forty four point seven two kilometers per hour we believe that every person in the world knows that the title of the fastest human today belongs to Usain Bolt this Jamaican athlete became a synonym for the word speed and was nicknamed lightning bolt of course bolt has many different achievements but one of them especially stands out on August the 16th 2009 in the final of the World Athletics Championships in Berlin he set the world record at a distance of a hundred meters running this distance in just nine point five eight seconds and believe us that's very very fast yes we know it's a time recordin today we're supposed to talk about speed so let's look at another number the day after the race the details of the record run were published on the website of the International Association of Athletics Federations according to them the Jamaican sprinter overcame the distance between 60 and 80 meters in 1.6 1 seconds thus the highest average speed registered was forty four point seven two kilometers per hour to date no one has managed to beat this record rollerskates a hundred and thirty two point one nine kilometers per hour of course since there's a speed record her running there must be a record for roller skating the best results a date belongs to a guy named Gabe home September 16 2017 he managed to reach a hundred and thirty two point nineteen kilometers per hour [Music] thereby breaking the past record of a hundred and twenty four point six seven km/h for this they used a set of rollerblade twister edged shoes with 90 millimetres rollerblade hydrogen wheels and ilq9 pro bearings thus Gabe took first place in the competition for downhill Maryland windwalk US Nationals and entered his name into the Book of Records longboard a hundred and forty three point eight nine km/h August 29th 2016 a guy named Kyle Wester set a new world speed record on a longboard he was able to speed up to a hundred and forty three point eight nine km/h moving at this speed seems dangerous even if you're driving a car and Kyle was rolling down on his longboard using the most common means of protection elbow pads knee pads and a helmet below to enhance aerodynamics Kyle attached a strange element to his left leg similar to a shark fin we know it looks pretty funny but it seems that this modification of the costume made sense to keep up with the guy who was necessary to follow him in a car the results also exceeded all expectations I feel awesome a dream come true set Wester bicycle 220 7.2 km/h since there are a lot of different slopes around the globe there are a lots of different records so the highest speed that a human developed when riding a mountain bike in the snow was reached by the famous french extreme enthusiast and stuntman eric barone nicknamed the Red Baron in 2017 he broke his previous record rushing down a slope at a speed of two hundred and twenty seven point two kilometers per hour [Music] these are really dangerous numbers so barone sets his records not only on a special bicycle using unique protection which already saved his life in 2002 on the slope of the Cerro Negro volcano and Nicaragua Peron fell at a speed of 172 km/h the fall was horrible and if it weren't for the protection the famous stunt man wouldn't have gotten away that easily boat 420 km/h of course not all speed records belong to the land vehicles boats also have something to show for example he fastest drag boat is the problem child during a race held on November 22nd 2009 near Phoenix Arizona the boat was able to speed up to 420 km/h literally flying over the surface of the water into a cloud of water drops and it looked just incredibly cool today this record hasn't yet been beaten and as you can see by visiting the official web sites at the Guinness Book of Records motorcycle 502 km/h the world speed record on a motorcycle was set by Bill Warner from where malmö Florida in July 2011 the biker was able to accelerate a 1,000 horsepower suzuki hayabusa to a speed of 502 km/h which is equivalent to 311 miles per hour an incredibly high speed [Music] so he became the first person in the world to overcome the 300 mile an hour speed limit on a motorcycle but his own record only teased bill in July 2013 the 44 year old racer plan to beat his previous achievement on the runway of the inoperative US air for base in limbs domain everything was going well when suddenly at a speed of 458 kilometers per hour Warner deviated to the right lost control over the motorcycle and flew off the track after the accident he was still conscious and was able to talk but the fall ended tragically this is the consequences of too much enthusiasm so we don't recommend doing such things friends according to Tim Kelly race director of the Loring timing Association no one can repeat bill's results all bases record and so far this statement is true train 603 km/h the speed record for magnetic pillow trains were set in 2003 and it was 581 kilometers per hour despite the fact that the speed record set by the maglev trains are not included in the overall records for rail vehicles they compete among themselves in their own ranking for a long time no one could overcome this mark until 2015 when there was a real breakthrough on April 21st for the first time the new l0 series train accelerated to an incredible 603 km/h and held the maximum speed for 10 seconds overcoming a distance of about 1,600 meters at this time just imagine that kind of power not a train but a real teleporter the test run was held in the Yamanashi prefecture in it so kia all these high-speed tests are part of a large-scale central japan railway program to launch the super high-speed Tokyo Nagoya line scheduled for 2027 it's just not very clear whether Japan needs such an incredibly fast transport because this country isn't exactly big well engineer is no better of course car twelve hundred and twenty seven point nine km/h despite technological development and all sorts of Tesla cars the speed record in a car says on October 15 1997 hasn't been broken twelve hundred and twenty seven point nine kilometers per hour friends 3:13 beta 2 now Wow it was set by a car known as the thrust SSC and to be honest it doesn't really look like a car in the usual sense rather like some strange hybrid between a missile and the Batmobile and all because of the huge turbofan engines the thrust SSC is 16 and a half metres long and three point seven meters wide and it weighs ten and a half tonnes according to some sources this is the first car to overcome the sonic barrier by the way it happened exactly fifty years and one day after Charles Yeager overcame the sonic barrier in the air on the experimental aircraft the bell x-1 the thrust SSC engines produced a gross fraction of 223 kilonewtons or 110 thousand horsepower and it has a fuel consumption of 18 litres per second the car accelerates it from zero to a thousand kilometers per hour in 16 seconds and reached a record speed of twelve hundred and twenty-eight km/h in 30 seconds the car was controlled by the pilot of the Royal Air Force fighter and deep green and currently the thrust SSC like its predecessor the thrust - is on display at the Coventry Transport Museum in the UK freefall thirteen hundred and fifty 7.6 km/h Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner really likes to take risks and has become worldwide famous for doing it see it for yourself in 1999 he set a world record making the highest parachute jump from a building when he jumped from the petronas tower in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia see you [Music] also the daredevil set a world record for the lowest base jump when he jumped from a height of 29 meters from the hand of the Christ Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro on December 12 2007 he became the first person to jump from the 90th floor of the tallest building in the world at the time a Taipei 101 and this isn't even a complete list of Felix's achievements but the most amazing record of this daredevil is jumping from the stratosphere on October 14 for 2012 he successfully performed the red bull stratos jump from a height of thirty eight thousand nine hundred and sixty nine point four meters especially for Felix the engineers created a new home attic cabin in which he stayed before the jump as well as a new high altitude suit capable of withstanding huge overloads during the fall the flight lasted about 10 minutes during five of them the skydiver was in freefall reaching thirteen hundred and fifty 7.6 km/h an air by setting a new world record [Music] [Music] so you can get a respiratory count [Applause] that's an altitude of one and a half kilometers above Earth Felix opened his parachute and landed safely in the outskirts of Roswell in the American state of New Mexico unmanned aircraft 11850 km/h yes the first place for the highest speed achieved goes to a drone the x43 is an unmanned experimental hypersonic aircraft built as part of the NASA program hyper X the first version the x-43a was designed to reach max 7 which is about 8,000 kilometers per hour but the tests in 2001 run successful the first drone was destroyed but the next two were able to execute the program the second flight of the x-43a went well but only the third flight held on November 16 2004 set the record speed of 11850 simply incredible supersonic [Music] dude are you looking for new technologies and great gadgets are your thoughts focused on the future do you laugh huge vehicles and can't imagine your life without robots around here and visit tech zone and you'll find all this and more the link is in the description you interested great
