[Music] in a poker landscape rich with prize pools and trophies there are countless winners but to be a poker Champion only one tournament matters the World Series of Poker Main Event many champions have come before and many will follow but today belongs to these nine players some like Ben lamb lamb approaching 10 million chip and Phil Collins have devoted their lives to the Felt This Moment is the culmination of a poker player's career some like B's Bob bunara are just living a dream I want it feels like surreal today all nine share what is truly a golden opportunity my St might get me a bit of trouble but I'm smart enough to change a little bit I think I'm playing perfect B right now I've just been trying to get myself in a in a good mental state this is a moment in my life I'm always going to remember and I want to make the best of it an opportunity to become champion of the only tournament that matters the World Series of Poker main [Applause] [Music] event [Applause] [Music] this date has been circled for months welcome to the final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event presented by Jack lyns beef [Applause] jerky right it's hot I made it myself Ben lamb looking to cap his Player of the Year series with a second gold [Applause] bracelet going to win this thing yeah yeah yeah yeah Hill Collins and the other November ners coming into the pen tellar theater for the day they've been waiting for anxiously hi everyone Lon McCarron along with Norman Chad and Caris Scott and tonight after nearly 4 months of waiting the November 9th gives way to a November champion and it seems everyone has their own personal rail p and Circumstance come with any championship event and here inside the pen and Teller theater the main event final table is not immune but at the heart of it still there is a lot of Poker to be played with no overwhelming chip leader and no desperate short stack Norman the green felt is wide open for any of our nine remaining players to make their Mark and some great possibilities out there lawn Ben lamb trying to cap off his Sublime Player of the Year season or Anton makasi trying to become the youngest main event champ ever and then there's the best story the main event is about the every man taking a shot against the gamees great from Robert Varone to Chris Money Maker to Darin Moon and now to B's Bob budar the only amateur left the oldest player left and hoping to become a national hero overnight back home actually Bob has so many of his countrymen here supporting him at the moment there may be nobody left in bise here are the nine players buying for $8.7 million and the gold bracelet Sam Holden from Sussex England I'm short stacked no one seems to be giving me a chance except me Anon mki from Ukraine I'm here to become the youngest player ever to win the main event P HS from colog Germany I'm very aggressive and I'm going to try to win every part of this Final Table Bob bonara from Biz I'm here to take the World Series Main Event bracelet to B Ben lamb from Las Vegas Nevada I'm the 2011 WSOP player of the year but nothing would be sweeter than winning the main event Phil Collins from Las Vegas I'll have the loudest drill here fired up and ready to watch me win mat un from Las Vegas Nevada third in chips of 24.75 million i d from du Ireland forget the look of the Irish today we'll see the skill in the Irish Martin stashko from Czech Republic I have over 40 million chips I am the chip [Music] leader stashko has accomplished the unthinkable he's the chip leader while flying under the radar and in fifth place we have Ben lamb who's had a World Series that has bettered the careers of some top pros this is fourth Final Table in his last five world series events give me a smile on what give me a smile oh yeah we should have all made him laugh well if they want to smile they just have to look at the payouts a huge amount of money to be had but a big difference between first and Ninth the pay jumps are very significant and are more money than most of these guys have ever won in the live Arena everybody already paid Ninth Place money back in July so whoever gets knocked out first here doesn't earn another dime that's a long wait for nothing with a 75,000 chipan the blinds are 300,000 and 600,000 folded over two PS Hines Hines with Ace Jack offit Hines one of four players at this Final Table in his first World Series Ever along with Holden meski and stashko it's all downhill from here for these guys Hines with a raise to a million three Lamb with King five of Spades looks so trusting play so tricky one of three 26-year-old Las Vegas Pros here along with Collins and gianetti even if lamb went out ninth This World Series performance would stand among the best ever but he has loftier goals and a re ra to 3, 50,000 well there's a good snapshot of Ben lamb re raising with King five he looks for spots not for cards glad clad Chipley leader folds as does Matt gianetti Bob bunara from B on the button early at this Final Table you got to figure play might be snug Ben lamb realizes that who would want to get involved in a pot with the two that already have put in a raise and a r raise and they do fold it back to Hines got and hin says you got it and folds the ace Jack one cat burglar takes it from the other if he wins the main event title I really think Ben would make a great Ambassador for the game la oh did you really go there well benis flock inside the penell theater are out of their chairs you know the crowd may get under some player skin but it can help loosen up their particular hero and keep them at their best well when you look at the final table chip counts you expect to see deep Stacks but only stashko has plenty of room to work with everyone else under 50 big blinds the short stacks of makki and Holden do not have a lot of time to play with all right at this championship table folded to Phil Collins 26-year-old who lives in Las Vegas now Ace queen off suit he played a lot of video games in his downtime before the November 9 you know I think Calvin kulage did that before the 1924 presidential election Collins Limon for 600,000 makii the second shortest stack here Jack nine into the Muk not the same without that blue jacket over to Sam Holden the Englishman who is the shortest stack he gives it up to PS Hines Hines with Ace King of Spades you know if you run into Hines away from the table without his hoodie you have absolutely no idea who he is hin says he plays his best game when he can dismiss the importance of the moment that's a tall order here Hines raises it up to 2.1 million Ben lamb folds his button yeah it's impossible not to recognize Hines at the table between his hoodie and his aggression both blinds fold back to Colin now who just limped with Ace Queen yeah we saw Phil open limp Collins very confident in his post flop play but since he got raised here he might be thinking about springing a trap we'll find out how serious he is here with Ace Queen he re raises to 45 million well I often call Ace Queen the Grim Reaper of holdom and Collins here on the edge of reaping Grim Lon hin now I'm on wow he now gets a little more serious he re raises all in forcing Phil Collins to fold yeah that would have been for almost all of Phil Collins chips he makes the right lay down and PS hin shoots up the leaderboard boosting his chip stack 33% moving to fourth place after his big hand trumped out of Collins who did make a strong lay down Hines approaching 25 million Collins not willing to risk 85% of his stack so early at this Final Table just another night on the Las Vegas Strip not another night in in the poker world 9 playing down to one here at the 2011 World Series of Poker main event final table stashko OD and gianetti remain 1 two three di Hines picks up another big hand pocket queens and a rais to 1.3 million million and Lamb with two nines two active players with good hands I smell three and four bets on the horizon line if Lamb's cards could talk though they'd be saying 99 don't play with the ger Pro just a call from Ben yeah you see Ben changing it up there we saw him re raise earlier with a weak hand here just calling with a strong hand Matt gianetti wearing the shades tonight folds to banar with the cigar on the button seven Trey into the muck to the small blind o and o on the jacklinks beef jerky hle cam Ace Queen part of the first father and son tandem ever to make the main event final table his dad donica did it in 1983 and 91 now Owen does it in 2011 Don in attendance tonight and for OD here not a good time to have the Grim Reaper of holdam the ace Queen OD is not going anywhere a raay from Hines a call from lamb and now a r ra from the Irish men to 4.1 million well out of the small blind OD will try to pick up the pot right here I don't like his chances Collins folded his big blind back to Hines now with the two black queens OD plays a pretty solid game if I were Hines I'd be worried about Aces or Kings oh Hines is pausing for reflection here just a call for 2.8 million more now back to Ben Lamb with the nines and Ben lamb now getting almost four to one on a call here he's in awful shape though he's seen the solid Pro OD three bet after the Uber aggressive player on his right open for a raise and lamb does Give It Up up there is donica OD sitting with Owen's sister the Flop now heads up 884 OD the pre- Flop R raiser having to play this hand out of position against Hines OD reaching for chips 4.6 that is 4.6 million from the Irishman well OD missed that flop he's going to represent an overpair to the board Ace Queen digging in deeper the man with the overpair to the board PS Hines just calls I don't know if Hines is worried about aces are Kings I don't know if he's trapping I don't know much that is the strength of hines's game turn card the Deuce of Clubs Hines picks up a flush draw to go with his leading two pair Owen says the only advice his dad gave him during the main event was making sure he changed his flights home on time most of these players had to change their flights a couple of times back in July during the early days of the main event and OD comes out with a bet of 8.2 million just under half the pot his dad might have advised him there to give up on the ace Queen that's about half of hines's Stack a lot of pressure on PS Hines who's asking himself a simple question does o and OD have Aces or Kings he's betting it like he does Ls as mentioned just 16 million chips behind I'm on and he says all in again well forget that ow and OD is getting 5 to one on a call here he knows he's crushed his cards will be in the muck OD has just about 4 million more than Hines but he's got a sick look on his face and he does give up the ace Queen hindes will take that big pot hines's rail looks like the folks in Oprah's audience when she gives away way your favorite things a punch to the gut taken by OD losing over half his stack as PS Hines takes od's former spot second place at this championship table Hines told us the three and 1 half month break got him ready for this big night uh since I was just just really busy with media um Media stuff and all that and yeah played played a couple tournaments but not that many I just wanted to you know take a little break because I played all summer basically and um I just relax a little bit and take some off and we gain Focus I watched the coverage especially the day8 coverage uh I think I played reasonably well um when we got down to 14 I didn't I think I got a bit bit too carried was a bit too aggressive and lost time shs I didn't need to lose uh as for my opponents I think everybody that's at the final table played really well and definitely is deserving to be there PS says he wasn't that excited to be playing in his first Main Event maybe he came here to see Penn and Teller Bill Collins not in his seat right now his cards have been mck action on Ben lamb who looks down at Ace King we asked Ben lamb if he picked up anything from watching the TV coverage from over the summer and he said yeah I I play pretty good A rais to 1.7 million Martin stashko the chip leader will sit this hand out at gianetti and Bob bunara fold and now back to Owen OD who is still stinging right now trying to rebound he folds on the button makki makki looking very sharp tonight like he's going to be applying for a job at Best Buy he folds his button Sam Holden in the small blind with Ace Jack of Spades he moves all in for his last 11 million plus h folds his big blind now to Lamb with Ace King a snaap called to put Holden at risk W and Lamb with a chance to score the first knockout of this championship table and in the evening for Sam Holden's clones Holden push with 14 big blinds left with the big Ace and now he needs to get lucky against Ben lamb to stick around no one gets lucky against Ben lamb in the 2011 World Series Amy English Ben's girlfriend chanting his name Holden trying to become the first Englishman to win the main event 98 Ace all Club slam with a nut flush draw to keep Holden under his thumb yeah that puts a hurt on Sam Holden [Music] Holden's a nice kid already used his one time earlier in the main event classy of him not to ask for it here oh it wouldn't have worked the club on the turn gives lamb the flush takes all of Holden's chips Sam Holden finishes in ninth place a 22-year-old short sack from England never had much of a chance tonight but he goes out with a smile on his face some well-deserved Applause for Sam Holden good on the game's biggest stage he comes in ninth in his first ever $10,000 tournament Players from Great Britain won three bracelets at this year's World Series Holden canot make it number four Ben lamb was regarded as the biggest threat at this final table and now with the knockout Bena moves into third place is he destined for this world [Music] championship welcome back to the World Series of Poker Main Event presented by Jack Link beep jerky from the minute the crowds were allowed into the penell theater they have been boisterous perhaps none as boisterous as the crowd belonging to biz's Bob bunara he has kept Biz front and center throughout his main event journey and it's easy to see [Music] why Bob bonara 49 years young bise City Biz Biz is Nature's Best kept secret it is Paradise within a paradise my grandfather used to be a great poker player actually he used to host Wednesdays night poker at home we used to play poker and nickels and dimes around uh breakfast table there is no book about poker nobody knows what's in the cards poker is a fun game each hand is played differently on the sea you always always always trust your compass never doubt your compass in poker you have to always trust your Gods I don't consider myself a professional poker player I play a recreational poker I play poker to relax I play poker to socialize I enjoy the game the guys that are professional I believe that they have more pressure on them than me because they're expected to win that me I'll come from behind and I'll take the title that's something great for B I would like to see this country more developed than it is right now and uh I would like to put biz on the map not only for poker players but for all tourists and walks of life all over the world come November I really don't know what happens but we'll see Bernar likes a good cigar with a glass of knac actually I'm sure he has some knac that's older than most of the players at this Final Table good bet Bernar with pocket tens pocket tens he says is his luckiest hand he's in fifth place right now with just under 17 million Bob says he was playing for the next day each day at the main event and probably the next day led him to the final day a raise to 2 million from bunara Collins folds pocket Deuces makki folds and the T of Hearts is exposed not good news for Bob bnar of course the oldest player here at 49 Martin stashko is 35 everyone else is in their 20s fed to lamb who gives up a week a stashko in the small blind stashko has been pretty card dead here early he lays it down gianetti in the big blind jack8 of Hearts janetti cashed in his first Main Event in 2006 that was for $22,000 this will be for at least a million he makes the call for a million two more and we'll see a flop with bunara who will just look at gianetti trade Jack six gianetti with top pair crushing bonar's 10 now oh the shoulder check from bunar he's utilizing his entire playbook for the final table a free turn card five of clubs bunara still in a deep hole I have expect gianetti to flash a light in Bernard's face and ask for license and registration gianetti looks like he wants to lead out and he does for almost 2 and2 million gnet the only player at the final table wearing sunglasses and by the way I don't think I've seen the shoulder check since the uh Winston Churchill Neville Chamberlain heads up home game it's like fashion Norman what it's old is New Again bunara counting at his stack and he does make the call not much left behind for bunara there is Matt's girlfriend Joy witnessing the biggest night of his poker career the River card another five gianetti jacks up our best yeah gianetti at this point has got to figure that those jacks up are good enough gianetti with the best hand and Bernar with the best look at gianetti gianetti and expert at extracting maximum value from his hands bets 3 and 3/4 million into banara it doesn't look like Bob is ready to give up might think his lucky pocket tens are still good but he started his hand with just 20 big blinds and if he calls here he'll be down to 10 big blinds Bob's daughter Amal was there every step of the way as he made his way to the main event final table and he makes the call here and he'll hate to see that gianetti flopped the Jack gianetti turned over his cards like he knew he had the winner Bob bunara gives up some chips to Matt janetti and his dad Daryl loves to see that bunara drops to 85 million the short stack with just 10 big blinds gianetti moves into third place ahead of Ben lamb at this championship table mat got to see the flop for a discount and it paid off for him and now big way so that pot contested between the oldest player at this Final Table Bob bunara and one of the 26y olds Matt gianetti this is one of the youngest main event final tables ever at an average age of 28 mfi of course trying to become the youngest ever to win the main event a very good chance this is going to be the fourth straight year the main event champ is a 20-some Berard trying to become the oldest champ since another amateur 61-year-old n furong one in 1999 folded to Phil Collins on the button he lays down five Trey meski and in the small blind with king queen off all in Anton's all in call hindes with pocket NES makes the call just another day at the office Norman this bang bang blind on blind meski at risk good look guys Lu thank you thank you the two youngest players here are friendly Rivals and the German now trying to send the Ukrainian home all right here's the Flop it is King Jack Jack makasi flops Kings up and now a big favorite to double through hin makasi became chip leader on day seven with a king Jack Jack flop against Chris Moore and now the king Jack Jack flop might extend Anton's main event on the left ps's Mom resi has seen her son play a strong game tonight but we haven't seen the best of Anton yet tonight he needs some chips to show off that creative makoski aggression third card is a nine head Tu can't believe it and with a full boat hes turns the tables on mvi a devastating blow to Mesi and now he might be down to his final card Anton needs a king or a Jack the river the seven of hearts and mvi will go out meekly in eighth place as PS he scores The Knockout Joe cat is still the youngest ever to win the main event Anton meski will have to be content with his million dooll payday eighth place in his first World Series of Poker for Anton mavi Hines racks up The Knockout and with 61 million chips this chip leader has some distance between himself and the six others that now remain a dangerous player now on the rail Anton mfi was like a boxer in a straight jacket tonight and Joe's record is is safe for another year welcome back to Las Vegas the poker world has turned out to watch this championship table taking in the 42nd annual World Series of Poker as we Crown a new world champion tonight there's Jason Mercier friends with Phil Collins and Ben lamb these days Mercier usually plays at every final table but he is watching as German PS Hines has grabbed this final table by the throat and leads by a wide margin stashko and gianetti second and third respectively with pocket eights Hines trying to make the November 9 his personal November Fest second German ever to make it to the main event final table he raises to a, 800,000 lamb folds to stashko five Trey Martine will fold over to gianetti now in the big blind for Deuce of Clubs on day five he had 11 big blinds left on day seven he took the chip lead and here he is at the final table the November ners Norman were a football team jetti would be the middle linebacker he cuts an intimidating figure he makes a call for a million well we know gianetti doesn't like to give up his big blind I guess gianetti is flop to Mystic there is the Flop Deuce 79 a pair of Deuces gets gianetti partway there but he's still a three to1 dog and he checks Heins now the best hand pocket eights bets 2.1 million we saw gianetti make the big blind work against bonara he gets a piece of this flop he might figure Hines just making a standard continuation bet with big card so he's going to plunder on janetti makes the call he was born in Massachusetts became an honorary Texan when he went to school at UT Austin another deuce on the turn and gianetti has the Magic Touch as he takes the lead and checks again a car deck is so unreliable lot How could a deuce be the next card we see Hines checks back and the River card is is a nine and gianetti now with Deuces full gianetti with chips in hand this time and that is 4, 250,000 PS wondering what can he have what can he have I guarantee you he doesn't think gianetti has a deuce in his hand Hines will pay off gianetti with the call and a full boat will bring PS hin back to Earth just a little bit gianetti vaults over stash going into second place and the Eyes of Texas are upon him gianetti all business here no talk no smile and the highway patrolman now creeping up on the chip Le well despite all the action so far the leaderboard has not changed that much except for at the very top Hines on top with 53 million gianetti now in second Bob bunara the amateur from Biz is in trouble with only five big blinds Norman he was short stacked much of the main event so he's used to living moment to moment he assigns the chip leader right now action on the 35-year-old who began this final table as the chip leader marching stashko on the jackling beef jerky hulham ace9 many of his chess friends are railing him here I doubt they're as loud as the other contingent but they may take some tricks back to their chess tournaments when they return home stashko raises to 1.7 million Ace Jack for gianetti pretty good hand FS it though bnar with Ace five and he makes his stand with the weak Ace gar all in with Ace five for almost 4 and half million hold it to the big blind Ben lamb only saw one gu Jack juice folds stashko makes the call with this bigger race got a here is [Applause] not a pair but he has bunara in trouble is five yeah as he always does when he's all in bunara makes his way to his rail Bob had five big blinds left his acees dominated in his main event dream about to be ended by Martin staska all right punar at risk here is the Flop 67 dece two clubs Bard does not pair up but it's got some potential out there it was straight and flush cards the two oldest players left stashko looking to send Bernar back to bellian Paradise turn the turn card the King of Hearts is no help to Bern's main of it hopes one card to come the River stashko on the verge of The Knockout benara needs a five and a five only or he is wamb Boozled the River card is another six and that brings biz's hopes of a main event Championship to a close good luck and the Plaid pla stashko Clan celebrating The Knockout by their man seventh place for Bob bunara I don't think anyone here had any more fun than Bob bunara did the last amateur standing is gone buar will take over $1.3 million back home Martin stashko eliminates the charismatic November ner Caris Scott is now with Bob bnard Bob let's talk about the hand where you had the pocket 10s against Matt gianetti you studied him for so long did he did he do something that made you think that he was weak I didn't expect him to call me with Jack it uh we've played with him before and pocket T everybody knows my favorite hand I put him on an Ace King or Ace queen or an under pair so it was basically a good flop for me technically you certainly brought Biz here to the World Series of Poker do you think that your appearance on this Final Table will you know give poker a boost in your country it's already boosting over there and next year is going to be better we're going to bring more people to play the World Series next year what's the experience been like for you to have such a loud Rail and so many people here cheering you on I came here to have fun I'm having fun I will have fun tonight no matter what so everybody's going to have fun thank you so much Bob back to you Lon well it didn't quite end as dreamed but for Bob bunara an impressive Seventh Place finish that puts B on the poker map for [Music] good welcome back to the Rio we are six-handed for the bracelet Holden makki and bunar are all gone and incidentally those were three of the bottom four coming into this table only German psin has been able to climb out from the bottom and he's now the chip leader Queen Jack for Collins B Collins has been quiet if there's something in the air tonight it hasn't been visible to the naked eye all in he is all in for over 135 million chips down 10 million from the start of this table 11 million and lamb makes the call with Ace Queen of Clubs and he will have Phil Collins in deep trouble I'm dominated I got him dominated a queen queen ja second time tonight Ben lamb has had an opponent all in and dominated and Phil Collins now wishing would rain down jacks in the middle Brian devenshire the poker Pro and everyone else here on their feet eyeing the showdown between two very skilled poker Pros with a shrug of his shoulders as if to say to his wife ktie I had to do it one 26-year-old Las Vegas Pro trying to knock out the other the Flop King five Trey Phil's best hope there was a Jack and he comes up empty pH Collins unable to get anything going tonight Bena crowd looking for another knockout and now the turn card the 10 of diamonds Collins will make lamb sweat as he trades in his three outs for 14 new ones that makes it almost a fair fight it's fun either way huh it's fun way and Ben lamb rid this Final Table of the dangerous Phil Collins but Collins now an ace n or any diamond will keep him around the River card is the Queen of Diamonds and Collins will stay alive with a long shot [Applause] flush and he put quite a dent and Ben Lamb's chip stack in the process bad luck and a big blow to lamb and Phil Collins says take a look at me now I'm still here sorry Ben Bena gives up nearly half his stack to Collins who sits with more than 28 million now and this Phil Collins performance will have an oncore after a rough start to The Night Phil Collins barely survives to see another hand he picked up the game as a freshman at the University of South Carolina then ultimately turned down law school to pursue poker peris Scott has more on that big decision if Phil Collins had been accepted into law school right away his life would be very different right now but instead he was weight listed which gave him quite a lot of time to play poker and by the time his acceptance letter came through he'd won so much that it didn't really make sense for him to go to school a lot of parents might be a little nervous about their son picking up poker instead of a legal career but Phil says that his family and friends know two things about him for sure one he's very smart and makes good decisions and two he's very strong willed so they wouldn't be able to change his mind either way Phil colins turned down law school L I turned down traffic school Collins with 108 of Spades in the small blind he raises the 2.2 million and PS Hines has the jacklinks beef jerky Wild Card hand Norman I'm going to tell you what a 22-year-old Madman in a hoodie chewing gum is holding sure no problem well you at home and Norman can take this multiple choice quiz and try to figure out the chip leaders Holdings as Hines just makes the call this is blind versus blind Hines could be calling here with anything I'll put him on a or D ajack or queen n suited eight Deuce Jack middle pair for Collins Collins reaching for chips the oversized red white and blue chips worth half million each that's 2 million from so let's looking at the choices Hines either has a pair of jacks now an up and down straight draw pocket sixes or a gut shot with the queen nine whatever he has is worthy of a call I think he's playing this one tricky I think he's calling here with top pair top kicker that's a turn card four of hearts that Misses Collins so we'll check this time if Hines has D Queen n of Hearts he's now picked up a flush draw but I have him on top pair top kicker fire away H does not fire away he checks back he checked I have no idea what he has River Card another Jack the Jack of Hearts but we do know what Phil Collins has thankfully and if I'm him I believe my eights are good now why wouldn't they be I would value bet here maybe 3 and a half million wow close to that in his hand 3.3 million see me and Phil Collins are of the same mind actually that's probably a problem for Phil Collins but you need to figure out Hines hin with some of those Baye chips worth a quar million each and here's a raise to over 10 million well if I may State the obvious line which is my best feature Hines either is bluffing or or he's not and I just don't think he's bluffing here he either flopped that gut shot and made Runner Runner flush or he's weirdly played Ace Jack and has trip Jacks Bill Collins with a pair of eights and the jacks on board gives up his hand HS head a jack trips to win the jackling beef jerky Wild Card hand well done Norman trust me I was right entirely by accident and Phil Collins loses more than a quarter of his stack in the process he tried to buy it from the small blind caught a piece of the Flop and then came up second best to the trip Jacks of our chip leader PS Hines who's approaching 63 million Hines on a roll nearly quadrupling his stack since the first card was dealt can anyone derail this runaway poker Pro here at the Rio in Las Vegas the biggest prize in poker is at stake 8.7 million bucks for first place along with a main event bracelet PS Hines the man in charge so far tonight action Owen OD from Ireland ace9 off suit and a raised to a million six OD trying to become the first from Ireland to win the main event since NL furlong in 1999 and that year three Irishmen made the final table folded to Ben lamb and the big blind queen eight of diamonds 14th at the 09 main event and now two years later at the final table very impressive he is the short stack here PA in and he's all in for 14, 225,000 Ben lamb playing his game a little overly ambitious with queen8 suited but I think he's picked the right time I can't believe Owen OD wants to risk almost his entire stack on a Soo Ace that easily could be dominated od's sister watching on Owen has lamb covered by only about 2 and a half million OD thinking about it Lamb's game is more Fearless than Reckless but we'll see if his aggression cost some he here Don OD watching on as well if OD folds here he'll have about 20 big blinds left call OD makes the call to put lamb at risk the two short stacks going at it somebody will be bloodied lamb could be eliminated a tough and great call by Owen OD and Ben Lamb's magical 2011 World Series run could be crashing to an end right here everyone in the pen and tell theater on edge waiting for this big hand to be decided good luck ow and OD with a chance to knock bemba off this table and now the Flop six Jack Jack two diamonds OD hates to see that as lamb picks up a flush draw od's ace high still good but teetering lamb actually the favorite now but Ben needs to hit and out to complete this double up the four of clubs does not help [Applause] him o d one card from a knockout this River the single most important card these two have ever waited for lamb needs a queen eight or any diamond or he's gone it's an eight on the river lamb survives and dishes out the bad beat crippling onod that's lambastic l b OD has seen his share of nasty River cards that may hurt a little more having his son bear the brunt of it and lamb is still in the game with almost 30 million it's good to be Ben lamb and for Owen OD he's crushed after making a great call lamb waited until the final second to score the winner he and his flock will hang around this Main Event championship table a little longer that River Card shakes up this leaderboard OD barely clinging to his spot the blinds going up he has just two big blinds left meanwhile lamb has nearly 30 million everyone chasing the German PS hind with over 65 million action on the very short stacked ow and OD a queen and a six way5 we have like 46 and OD will push his last 2.2 million in the middle D with such a steady even temperament he battled back after that early misstep against PS Hines but now after the tough beat against Ben lamb he's got no chips to play with folded to stashko in the small blind with two red eights stashko looks shocked to find a pocket pair he still has jetti in the big blind to play behind him and there's a raise from stashko does gianetti want to get involved nope he will fold and so stashko with pocket a will look to send Owen OD out the door OD happy to at least have one overcard Owen OD was on the verge of such a big chip stack but got rivered and now all in here is the Flop 9510 no immediate help to OD Owen's Father Don finished Sixth and Ninth in his two main event final table appearances Owen now staring at a sixth place finish as well unless the Luck of the Irish has made its way to Las Vegas jack of diamonds gives both players an open-ended straight draw if OD does not hit his he'll be gone od's family anxiously awaiting this River Card stashko looking for another knockout OD looking for a king or an eight the River card is AD deuce and that will do it o and od's first main event final table ends up in sixth place knocked out by Martin stashko another great OD family run on poker's biggest stage Owen turn some of the poker Limelight back on the emerald aisle Martin stashko with another knockout as our championship table is now down to five just before the break Czech Republic's Martin stashko knocked out Ireland's onod in sixth place five players remain including the three Americans who started this Final Table lamb janetti and Collins the chip leader PS Hines looks down at pocket NES and makes the raise to 2.1 million Hines loves the big stack he loves it short-handed they both play into his natural aggression nashco folds his button gianetti in the small blind with two small cards folds to Collins in the big A7 of diamonds Collins sitting on 18 big blinds he knows PS hin could be opening with a wide range all in in Hollins moves All In take it Hines looking for an exact count Hines would have to call off about a quarter of his stack here with the pocket NES I call and PS does make the call and he's a two to1 favorite to get this championship table forehanded not a whole lot going good for Phil Collins Tonight his wife Katie on her feet is best hope the ace right now P hin just keeps rolling and rolling along here is the Flop 654 Collins picks up an open-ended straight draw H enjoying the moment why not on the right ktie Collins not so much the turn card now is a nine and a set for Hines but but Collins picks up more outs with the flush draw I'm pretty sure Black Friday never happens my focus so weake Longs me so good luck Phil fun is it going to be the PS hind song again or is it going to be another day in paradise for Phil Collins the River card is a seven and Phil Collins comes up empty His World Series is over let's play with you a terrific showing for the online poker specialist fifth place in the most prestigious event in the game Phil told us he had a dream he beat o and OD heads up to win this title OD out and now Collins out it was indeed Just a Dream for Collins his supporters including his wife Katie PS hin scores his second knockout again with the pocket nin he has nearly 87 million over 40% of the chips in Play It's November Fest for PS hind we're forehanded hind with almost 40 million more than gianetti right now stashko in third with about the same chips he started this final table with lamb in decent shape with almost 30 million so it's the aggressive chip leader the two Las Vegas pros and the unlikely 35-year-old former chess player from Czech Republic the World Series of Poker main event is about changing your life forever amateurs and Pros turn into celebrities and millionaires overnight now the final hour is here yeah and the final four are on the verge of changing their lives forever the intense Matt gianetti winning the main event is different because no one ever forgets who wins the main event the Uber aggressive PS hind winning the main run is just the biggest thing you can do in poker the precise Martin stashko it was my dream and I go to Las Vegas to win bracelet and the World Series of Poker Player of the Year Ben lamb this is a moment in my life I'm always going to remember and I want to make the best of it and I'm going to play as best I can four distinct players each looking for the same thing $8.7 million the gold bracelet and the title of world [Applause] champion it has come down to this four players with everything on the line welcome to the final four of the World Series of Poker main event final table presented by Jack Lynx beef jerky I'm Lon McCarron with Norman Chad and Caris Scott here at the Rio it's a scene reminiscent of any big-time sporting event crowds hanging on every card hoping their rooting interest can claim the gold bracelet at $8.7 million German PS hind is armed with chips and very dangerous a 22-year-old skipped October Fest and has created his own November Fest Matt gianetti appears as focused as ever he is the highway patrolman Martin stashko has represented Czech Republic well I've got to get me a plaid shirt lwn and Ben lamb well he just seems destined you know he's going to win why are we still even playing five players already eliminated from this championship table Phil Collins the most recent too earning nearly 2.3 million no one is in Allin mode just yet hindes comfortable with 83 big blinds stashko with some room to maneuver at 27 big blinds I think the four players who have played best at this final table are still here Matt does not look to be having fun he's very serious what's up yeah man you Lo once a blind's now at half million and 1 million for the big blind 150,000 chipan stashko on the jackling beef jerky hle cam 65 off and he limps in for a million stashko seemingly the most unlikely here was great at chess great at darts didn't take a poker until he was 30 years old unusual limp here from stashko first to act maybe I can do it for you to the big blind I cannot that just screams weak to me Norman as he checks his option those are all weak looking cards lamb and staska will see a flop forand for the bracelet 88 King The Flop misses both 65 is best lams and look at this stashko decides what the heck I can play like these other guys in Bluff and he does for a million two when lamb first took a poker he deposited $100 seven different times at online sites and lost it each time the eighth time he turned $100 into 93 Grand in two weeks and then he still lost it back lamb decides to make a little more noise raises it to 2.6 million well we know Ben lamb can aggress and he's telling stashko Two Can Play That Game plus it's my game you impostor nice read by lamb here well now Martin is not going anywhere well look at this Martin stashko is going to stand up to the bully he says not so fast BBA stashko those are raising chips six High and there is the r ra to 5.2 million W it's a game of chicken and we know lamb is no chicken but a great read here from staska can lamb continue now no 8 million oh yes he can with a bigger stack a raised to 8 million the four bet Bluff from Lamb with four high and stashko gives it up what he didn't five bet Bluff he did have the best hand but lamb and his flock are rocking after that power play that one interests you huh that one interests you I mean I know when I folded that's ni he's folded an eight so he's very curious what Ben had Martin stash go down to 21 big blinds Hines keeping up his cross examination of Bena looking at not that many eights left in her well lamb shows us in that hand what earned him Player of the Year honors in 2011 his numbers are still a work in progress but with guaranteed fourth place money his earnings total over 4.3 million helmuth appropriately finished second in these standings after three runnerup World Series of Poker finishes all right action on Matt gianetti on the button Jack n into the muck PS hin now in a small blind and he has the Jack Link speef jerky wildcard hand hind says I don't feel any pressure at all and he certainly plays that way he calls for a half million I don't think he'd limp with pocket Jacks I'm going to put him on a or b ace four suited or 87 suited Ace 10 suited for Ben lamb and the big blind he's trying to become the second Main Event Champion born in Tulsa Oklahoma poker Hall of Famer Bobby Baldwin won it all in 1978 when he was 28 lamb raised it up to 2.7 million Hines with his mystery hand makes the call in their spare time lamb and Hines work on their synchronized posing the Flop 10 Jack seven lamb scores middle pair Hines first to act and looks like he wants the lead out here 3.1 million well I'll eliminate ace four I think he's been here with bottom pair and a gut shot or D the up and down straight draw now Ben lamb jousting with the overwhelming chip leader Hines limp called pre flop so Ben might think PS has middle cards and that board's pretty scary for Middle cards turn card now the king gives lamb a Broadway draw to go with his T I like the fact that Hines can posture himself so lamb can't stare him down I think that's by Design well I'd say his action here will really Define ps's hand but nothing really ever defines ps's hand many players have been trying to Define ps's hand since back in July P working hard to put some chips together and that's about half the pot 6.3 million I think he might have gotten lucky and completed the straight with Queen nine that's my story I'm sticking to it l d it is I'm marking it Ben might be thinking like me but he's getting three to one on a call here so I think he'll come along with his pair in a draw and see what Hines does on the river PS is a tough man to read and lamb folds his T hindes had ace four on the jacklinks beef jerky wild card and sorry Norman how stupid could I be of course he was bluffing that's all he ever does Hines over 85 million continuing his Relentless March to the title lamb is down but not in danger yet but if Hines keeps playing like that Ben and the other two will be very soon yeah PS hin still the man to beat in a city where everyone comes with a dream tonight someone will leave the Rio with a dream realized four players remain on poker's biggest stage 22-year-old German PS Hines is leading the way for a report on how PS prepared for this Final Table here's the third member of our team Cara Scott PE Hines has been having an incredible final table so far and I was speaking with some of the Germans in the stand obviously they're very happy to see him doing well johannna strasman in particular has been working with a team of players who've been helping him to prepare including making sure his Fitness and Nutrition have been up to speed and not holding him back and also helping him deal with the media attention the German players say they really hope to see him lifting the bracelet as it would certainly Kickstart another poker boom in their country it also might Kickstart a hoodie boom in Germany of course Canadian Jonathan damama won it all in a hoodie last year Hines wus with his aggressive play this summer he hasn't stopped here at the championship table he's the second German to make the final table in 2001 Henry nowakowski finished 7th hin says the German media has been following him all around it's stressful but he's grateful to bring so much attention to poker in Germany he has pocket sixes here and a raiseed to 2.1 million 2.1 million and lamb folds stashko in the small blind on the jackling beef jooky hole cam ace8 off suit and stashko R raises all land for over 21.5 million stashko ships it with 21 big blinds left counts jetti folds Hines wants to know how much that all in is worth about 20% of hines's stack and even if he were to call and lose here he'd still have the chip leag PS H holding stash Go's immediate Fate In His Hands The Plaid Clan being put through the ringer Hines makes the call and stashko the chip leader for three and A2 months is all in and trailing stashko awaits his fate shouldn't Hines offer Martina a last sip of water before he knocks him out that would be the the decent thing to do so the Hines hoodies on the rail have confidence their man can score The Knockout his pocket pair against the ace eight of stashko stashko has been swimming with the young sharks here but he's navigated Dangerous Waters pretty well want to get this with all right here we go with stashko at risk the Flop eight 58 trip eight for [Applause] stashko but Hines not done yet with a huge flop for stashko and it looks like this four-man field is going to tighten up some the turn card for diamonds Hines adds a gut shotting yeah Hines triples his outs with that turn card Martin came in as the chip leader but with one bad River Card he's out K is coming a I think it's a six I me too eyes needs a six or a seven to end Mar stashko Main Event the River card the Queen of Clubs and stashko Will Survive and double up to 44.6 million it's trtic time baby the power of pla [Applause] stashko now in third place Hines as you mentioned enjoyed such a lead that even with that loss he still is the Man In Charge stashko stays alive with a huge flop the partying and trenic just got a shot in the arm welcome back to the World Series of Poker main event final table presented by Jack spe jerky back inside the Rio and the pennant tellar theater the PS hind show currently performing guest spots for Martin stashko Matt gianetti and Ben lamb a enjoying the action here last year's Champion Jonathan DL on the left in the 1989 World Champ Phil helmuth Matt gianetti with pocket Jacks gianetti not too active at this Final Table he's played solid poker pretty much stayed out of Harm's Way he's going to raise it up to 2.6 million chip leader PS Hines gets rid of his hand now to Ben lamb in the big blind a seven of Hearts lamb now in a similar position that we saw Martin stash go in when he pushed with ace8 off Ben has 22 big blinds left I'm all in Lamb says all in call gianetti calls with the Jacks and suddenly Ben lamb in severe trouble for his tournament life well the way patrolman catches Ben lamb speeding with A7 and lamb now a two to1 dog for his main event life Lamb's rail seems a bit uneasy about this one Ben lamb looking to pull some rabbit out of the Hat gianetti doesn't want to watch it if lamb gets lucky on him gianetti would be crippled of his pocket jacks on two occasions 10-h handed that paved the way for Matt to be here at this table and now trying to knock Ben lamb out with that very same hand the two 26-year-old Pros to the fly King 592 hearts and lamb picks up a flush draw in the year of Ben lamb Ben lamb always gets a sweat gianetti remains on the sidelines lamb front and center trying to will a heart or an ace gianetti's girlfriend Joy hoping for a clean board the turn card is a hard and L gets there you can't canot silence Ben lamb and Matt gianetti's main event is all but crushed Ben lamb turns the flush gianetti now in severe trouble at this championship table gianetti did everything right but now it's time to fight and rebuild as Lamb's crew celebrates 20 yeah you got to feel for Matt gianetti you do nothing wrong but it all goes wrong everything went right on that board for Ben Lam who doubles the 55 million Ben's girlfriend Amy English cheering her man on she has been a big influence on Ben Lamb's poker [Music] career Ben lamb 26 years old Las Vegas Nevada well in high school you I'd go and play pool and play people5 $10 a game and uh you know if I could get $2 or $300 I mean that's When You're 15 years old 16 years old I'm definitely more mature than the person who moved out here 3 years ago and that's you know just the environment you know you either are going to fail out here you have to mature I think the the most grounding principle of professional poker players seen others around you who are very very good poker players fail you know it is a job as much as most people kind of try to fantasize about poker players not having a job you know it is a job if you if you do it right and you want to be successful at it you must treat it like a job I mean I'd be pretty useless without my girlfriend she uh she helps a lot you know we cook together and do normal things this is Osiris that's ramsy's the big one down there she want a super turbo yeah I did I used to play poker I played poker before he played poker I want that on the record all right how we doing tonight guys yeah I I didn't have a single drink throughout the entire world series I actually made a bet that I wouldn't have a drink until I busted the main event and then you know after making over night I've lost the since this is good but uh you know it wasn't for a lot of money but it it was to motivate me and uh and make sure you know I was dedicated to to playing hard this summer and really trying to do everything I could to have a really good summer indeed Ben used to party too much his friend Jason Mercier says of his 10 worst hangovers five of them have come as a result of being with Ben lamb gianetti feeling a Ben lamb hangover after that double up Ace Trey for Matt and he is all in for 12 million Ace is good enough to push hin folds to Ben lamb lamb with two kings and a snap call to try to finish the job Ben lamb trying to get us three-handed at this championship table how does he have an over how does he Ben lamp Title Wave about to sweep Matt Genetti out of here gianetti found an ace to push with and lamb found pocket kings gianetti withouts with that Ace but at risk right now against Ben Lamb's pocket kings on the left poker Pro sha deep chatting for Bena now all right here we go and the Flop and quad Kings for lamb in gn's tournament [Applause] wow it's good to be Ben lamb gianetti knocked out in stunning fashion by lamb if it ain't in the cards it ain't in the cards Matt gianetti will have to be content with $3 million a fourth place finish for Matt gianetti in the 2011 Main Event just pa pa it's how you do it right that's a good FL the A7 was a Jacks wi the queen eight was A9 B it's that easy huh played bad the last hour and a half I think I have tips first the right and then the left gianetti is knocked out and lamb an even more dangerous opponent at this championship [Applause] table first Jacks cracked then Kings flop quads lamb in second place while gnet exits with a $3 million severance [Applause] package back at the reel on McCarron with Norman Chad and Caris Scott from the pen and Teller stage to the center of the poker Universe a massive undertaking setting the stage to award thir one player with $8.7 million all right here is a quick snapshot of our final three players Hines from Germany lamb from the US stash go from Czech Republic and right now Hines with more than half of the 206 million chips in play hin start at this Final Table seventh in chips but he sees control early on Hines with the button three-handed 85 into the muck lamb in the small Blind King Jack and his last five world series events Lamb with four final tables and a 12th Place finish call me when that happens again lamb raises the 3 million staska with pocket sevens in the big blind I really want to win the first hand well if lamb really wants to win the first hand of three-handed play he's got to beat pocket sevens or be able to push stashko off of pocket sevens stashko R is going to try to push lamb off his hand a rera to 7.5 million. million is now the de Martin stashko advertising to Ben lamb that he had has a hand lamb wondering if he can push back Ben not given up on this pot yet stashko with the shortest of these three stacks I'm all in and lamb puts the ultimate heat on Martin Lamb with the forb and that might indeed push stachow off his pocket sevens it's for all of Martin's chips lamb a little bit out on the limb here L because he knows it's unlikely stashko three bet [Applause] light stashko will make the call to put himself at risk and they're Racing for almost 86 million chips that's a I have King Jackie has sevens what I have King Jackie has sevens King Jack stashko a lot of credit there for all of his chips he shows he's willing to gamble and he is ahead in this critical race nobody can believe what has happened right here lamb in for most of his chips stashko in for all of his chips yeah lamb has stashko covered by only about 122 million as these two players wait for the flop the pen and Teller theater electrified by this [Applause] hand lamb trying to get rid of stashko trade nine Deuce that's a flop of a flop for Ben lamb stashko almost a 3 to one advantage now if lamb loses this one he'll be left with just 10 big blinds the turn card another trade no help to Ben lamb stashko a street away from doubling through the player of the [Music] year lamb needs a king or a Jack to knock out Martin staska the River card is a 10 and lamb is delt a crippling and silencing Blow by Martin stashko who doubles up and a rare show of emotion for stashko it's a plat plat plat World Benn lamb loses over 34 of his chip stack and just like that Martin stashko and his supporters have some new pep in their [Music] step so many of Lamb's chips just went away and so too perhaps did his world championship hopes high level poker from Martin but perhaps his greatest skill is in chess rachko has achieved expert status just four levels behind the highest level of grandmas I play a lot of Chess line I only have a class Q ranking but how about Martin chess darts in poker he's a Triple Threat all right so Ben lamb the very short stack here hin Foltz 10 deuce on lamb lamb with Queen six and he's going to put it all in the middle almost 11 million stasco with Two Jacks makes the call to put Lam at r bang bang Ben lamb in Detroit best hope the one over card to stash Go's pocket pair and now it's a Martin stashko Title Wave about to sweep Ben lamb out of here just as lamb swept gianetti out of here Lamb's parents David and Jenny on hand they are hoping their son can extend his run here boy it is stunning how suddenly Ben lamb could be gone from three-handed play Martin's mom on the right Sophie made the Trek air it has been quite worthwhile so far lamb at risk the Flop five Deuce five no help to lamb staska the chip leader entering the final table but most people wouldn't figure he'd make it to heads up of course we figured Ben lamb was destined but stasco now two cards away from heads up against Hines lamp two cards away from a devastating End To His Marvelous World Series turn card is another Deuce changes nothing for Ben but bring him closer to his last chance to stay alive Martin stash go one C away from thrilling his shering section by making it to heads [Applause] up Ben lamb has got to have a queen or the year of Ben lamb is finally over the River card is a seven and that does bring it into Ben Lamb's Main Event in 2011 World Series of Poker his third place finish highlighting an amazing Player of the Year performance he wins over $4 million so it's Czech versus German plaid versus hoodie why not so we are now heads up PS hin and Martin stashko stashko with the chip lead $8.7 million going to our new World Champ and the money is on its way to the stage who will be the last man [Music] standing from a field of six 6,865 just two are left PS hin from Germany Martin stashko from Czech Republic opposite Styles opposite backgrounds identical goal winning the gold bracelet and be the first from their country to claim the title as poker's world champion both players in their first Main Event ever going for the main event title he ass signs on the jackling speed jerky hole C with pocket aces Hines always has a game plan for 96 offit but I don't think think he practices pocket aces that often blinds at 800,000 and 1.6 million2 200,000 chipati and there's a raise to 3.4 million stashko with Queen nine stashko trying to become the first from Czech Republic ever to win the main event Hines trying to become the first from Germany to do it for 1.8 million more stashko calls hines's rays and the Flop is five Queen Deuce stashko collects top pair in flop which might be expensive for him that flop could cost stashko a lot of chips L he does check Hines with the aces bets 3,750 th000 and this is how Uber aggressive players sometimes get paid off you just never believe they have a hand because they usually don't have a hand plus in this case stashko has flopped top pair stashko makes that call with his pair of queens Hines loves to see that turn guard now is an ace Hines with trips stashko drawing dead stashko checks again now Can PS extract more from Martin with a ace out there well if Hines had 96 off he might still be plowing ahead here so it's hard to know when he has a set of Aces Hines putting chips together and Hines bets 8.6 million that's about what he would bet with anything like you said Norman million if I'm stashko I'm thinking that maybe Hines is on a flush draw and just trying to run me over and why wouldn't he think that I'd hate to be on the auto bond with PS Hines behind me Hines has been running people over since last July and there's the call from stashko exactly what Hines was hoping for Trey of diamonds now puts a third diamond on the board and four cards to a straight out there yeah unlikely either player would have a four in his hand to make the wheel stashko checks again and now hindes trying to figure out what stashko might call here stashko with 16.8 million just over half the pot again that diamond might cost hin some calling chips from stashko if stash had him on a flush draw it got there on the [Music] river stash go lays down his pair of queens and Hines will win that battle without having to show his cards and he takes back the chip [Applause] lead I'd love to hear Katie Perry record the PS hind song well if this heads up as a long on Norman I hope they come up with some more lyrics or I am not going to sleep tonight the fired up crowd the worldwide television coverage the money bracelet Prestige what a unique challenge these two have earned Hines now the chip leader stashko having to come from behind king queen off suit stashko so unlikely to be in this position he worked in a steel company he worked for a firm that produced iron he worked at an automotive company he didn't take a poker until he was over 30 years old stashko with a raise to 32 million and now PS Hines chip Bader once again Jack nine off suit Hines of course the now more traditional route here the online Young Gun he says he studied business psychology in college but I believe he majored in three betting the 22-year-old with raising chips he does re raise it to 10,00,000 I think stashko is getting used to these is now the guys trying to push him around and sometimes you just got to push back he has changed his game to match the aggression of his opponents when needed and here's the call with his king queen not a push back but he's going to defend his honor all right now the Flop over 20 million in the middle seven dece 10 stash goes king queen still ahead Hines with a gut shot and Hines treats a gut shot on the Flop like regular people treat two pair on the Flop he keep the motor gunning how much is it 9.8 million stashko got no piece of that flop but now we see him getting a little stubborn here he doesn't want to give up well we know he has the best hand but how does he feel about it well there's another call stashko calling the Flop likely intent on bluffing at it on the turn turn card now is is an ace that misses both so Martin still best I'm not sure what turn card PS Hines would not BET right here and certainly that Ace has to worry stashko especially since hin is reaching for chips 21.3 million Bishop to B5 stashko move Martin looking for his best defense and there is one all in for almost 61 million Hines mucks immediately what a play by Martin stashko yeah I didn't expect that gutsy move his best defense was a big offense you know Hines is like a boxer who figures if you keep working the body eventually your opponent's legs will give out well right there stashko with an unexpected roundhouse counter punch wow and with that pot stashko has now taken the chip lead by a 3-2 margin and the chant Martin stash go ringing through the pen and Teller theater of course Hines takes a licking and keeps on ticking a lot of Pride on the line National and personal there's also about $3.3 million difference between champion and runnerup and with 76 off Hines with a raise to 3.4 million Ace n of clubs first ASCO I've got to say my first instinct was against it but Martin stashko makes plaid work with his suited Ace he just calls all right so plaid versus hoodie as you said here is the Flop Ace nine trade top two for stashko nothing for PS hin when you flop a big hand against an aggressive opponent check and he often will bet and if you just check call your opponent often will overcommit and bet the turn as well stashko does check his aces up and Hines rarely disappoints when given the opportunity to bet in this spot Hines has a draw to a draw that's about it well you and I have a draw to a draw right now Hines with 3.8 million stashko says thank you very much stashko should just check call here I just laid it out for him I'm sure he'll thank you later for laying out his blueprint to a world title stashko just does make the call there you go Martin's a chess expert I'm a Checker's expert great minds think alike and there's another rce that keeps getting better for Martin Aces full all right let's check call it Martin there's the check part Hines well Hines didn't even pick up a draw but of course that might not slow him down my goodness Hines with 8.4 million it's as though Christmas time has come to trenic Hines drawn dead that's too many chips that's too many chips there is a check raise to 185 milon well if Martin's raising here stashko putting Hines on a stronger hand than he really has Hines has nuclear Squad Martin playing with a lot of confidence right now Hines doesn't think this hand is a loss cause just yet makes the call you got to love this guy Hines won't give up he's got spunk he's going to try to take away this baby on the river the river gives PS a pair of sixes nearly 52 million chips in the Middle stashko with the Full House and he wants to lead out this time this is a mistake by stashko he figures Hines must have an ace 20 million to 250,000 now Hines can't call here but if stashko had checked PS would have stabbed at it again actually part of hines's body wants to raise right here but his mind won't let him habits are tough to break he is Hines trying to read into Martin stashko and Hines folds staska will take that big pot and stashko in command of this heads up battle at the moment PS Hines knocked down to below 65 million as stashko solidifies his chip lead heads up creativity may have gotten the hind this far but right now it's stashko in complete Command of this heads up match and the favorite to win that money that bracelet and a world title the pace of play has definitely quickened here in Las Vegas we are heads up for the bracelet in $8.7 million Germany's PS Hind and Czech Republic's Martin stashko each looking to become the main event champion at this the 42nd annual World Series of Poker stashko with a suited Queen nine stashko says he could be the Chris Moneymaker of Czech Republic winning this title could ignite a poker boom back home the chip leader calls for a million to hin with Ace of Hearts Queen of Hearts I would say it's a statistical improbability Hines will let stashko get away with limping in here well history does repeat itself and here it goes there's the raise to 7.9 million from Hines what a contrast in Styles Hines keeps flailing away stashko keeps absorbing the punishment stashko with the big chip lead right now how much he's 5 a half million to call he does put his chips together in one hand and then put them onto the felt there is the call PS Hines has to be a little frustrated he keeps attacking stashko keeps defending he can't shake him with his bets of course it would help if Hines could occasionally make a hand all right here is the Flop 107 King two clubs hindes with a Broadway draw negating stashko straight draw but stashko also has a flush draw Hines with a Broadway draw one of the better looking hands he has seen on The Flop he had pocket aces early on in heads up but generally it's been like trying to make wine out of water so Hines now with some possibilities as you mentioned with that flop and he will keep testing stashko exactly half the potty. 2 million and again Martin stashko doesn't want to go away and I wouldn't expect him to here with flush and straight draws stashko wants to PS hin what PS Hines has been doing to everyone keep the heat on and there is a raise to 175 million yeah this time stashko hits back aggressors don't like being aggressed but sometimes when they're aggressed their natural instinct is to aggress back a little aggress can lead to a lot of aggress and before you know it you've got aggression from here to Helsinki that's the world in a nutshell line somehow that made sense I'm on in hin says I'm ready to play for my stack are you game Martin wow that's a gutsy play for all your chips with the world championship at stake and Hines has a lot of chips what does Stash go do he knows he has to be behind but as it turns out he's not behind by that much [Music] and if Martin folds right here he would give up the chip lead though not by much stashko makes the call to put Hines at risk and stashko has 12 outs twice to win all the chips hind shows Moxy with his Allin and some Moxy from stashko with his all-in call but he's a math iCal player and he knew that there were very few hands he'd be in awful shape against and with just a little luck the check can end it here stashko with his draw trying to win it right here Hines ahead right now with his own draw and ace high both on a draw both willing to gamble the turn card Trey of Hearts hind still ahead one more Street to survive and grab a huge lead stashko needs help on the river L of supporters calling for red Deuce to secure the double up stashko still with 12 outs to take home Main Event gold he's looking for a nine or any club and the title is his the river is a six of Spades PS hind scores the monster double up with ace high what a game changer Hines now with a 4 to one chip lead hindes falls into the arms of his supporters Martin stashko perhaps into the jaws of defeat hindes with the momentum and Chip lead again can he take Germany into unchartered Main Event Waters first place money and the gold bracelet sit between these two heads up combatants stasco with 10 seven of clubs stashko shoves players all in PS Hines with Ace King makes the call and here we go stasco pushes with 16 big blinds left he could have waited a little longer for a better hand Hines now in position to become the first German to take home his
