[Applause] word Wonderful's been used a lot the last few days will in fact throughout this whole championships so the final female action before the men come out it's time the final of the women's for boys 400 meter relay world leaders the USA setting qualifying year three twenty one point six six now they go faster or with the team they've got assembled on paper it looks likely this is the world championship final unpredictable to Germany [Applause] they'll start on the house benign [Applause] [Applause] inside that swallow would be the team from Nigeria [Applause] defending champions [Applause] depending the team for breakfast ignore the at least two years ago and then the strong team to the United States all women in the world have run under 50 seconds this year three of them are in their lineup the teams from Poland lineup in lane number three and then completing the lineup Diamond Ranch yes so the penultimate events are the world championships but always exciting women's 4 by 400 meter relay and that's an overhead shot [Applause] potentially a team that could win another world title for the USA they've won this title seven times Allyson Felix she'll be on the second leg the ward leader this year over the corpsman 2 meter distance she got a bronze in the 400 gold in the 4 by 100 meter relay she now has 15 world championship medal she surpassed Murli naughty she surpassed Usain Bolt and the American team of Hayes Felix Wimbley and Francis is a very very strong one that anybody stopped the Americans I'm not sure Catherine it really is a quality lineup 321 66 that world lead then you're looking to the likes of Great Britain bronze medalists in the last two years and you know what psychological bonus to a team when you've got someone as decorated and experienced as Felix well they're bringing in Felix they've also brought in Phyllis Francis for their last leg and she won the individual medic over the 400 meters Mike I'll say Felix 4965 for an error hazel leave the wife 4972 Phyllis Francis 49 92 you have to go with that American team don't you for second I think you also have to go for Jamaica now that may be a more of a battle on for third very strong Jamaican team there is they've got the very experienced nominee McWilliams Mills on their final leg made the 400 meter final here was in that world championship team that won two years ago as was sharika Jackson who runs third leg for them within the 400 meters near Jackson so the defending champions may not be no but first it in their team but with Gordon McLaughlin will be Jackson and Williams Mills they'll be in with a shout as well sanera Hayes the world number two this year ever experienced gobbling Williams Mills five World Championship medals she has [Music] come back from health problems battled breast cancer when he still weren't running on the world stage at a very high level the British team as well in lane number five FARC Nielsen's oil and diamond bronze a couple of years ago yeah they brought in a lead or the team captain who was taking the place of Perry Sheikh straighten who ran in the AIDS yep four hundred meter hurdle finalist here a lead oil at the back of Zoe Clark is semi-finalists over the 400 meters here did well though run a personal best fifty one point eight one seconds so the final setup is being made of the blocks to this woman's 4 by 400 meter final the athletes weight Emily diamond she'll run the final leg for the British team the Mantuan show a former world champion she'll be on the final leg for Botswana so the final of the women's 4 by 400 meter relay will it be an eighth gold in this event for the USA and the defending champions Jamaica win the title again here's your lineup as always throughout these championships from Lane 2 tonight are being used the free event favorites the USA starting for the defending champions in six the bronze medalists two years ago Great Britain Northern Ireland starting five [Music] so we're ready to rock and roll Germany will start on the outside in lane number nine spell my ruler want sure Logan Fowler she'll bring them alone what's wanna walk home by a van film on show the former world champion in eight Nigerian seven Masons George on the first day into a Jay on the last there's the defending champions Gordon McLaughlin will be Jackson Williams Mills center lane for Great Britain northern ireland they look good in qualifying Clark Milton Doyle and diamond the United States pays Felix Wimbley and Francis phone it'll start in lane number three just eNOS PT we'll bring them home on the final leg and then in lane number two the French team six in 2015 at the fool by 400 meter relay for women France Poland USA Great Britain Northern Ireland Jamaica Nigeria Botswana and Germany they've had a wonderful Championships the USA can in this penultimate event they win gold again [Music] so the clean start is expected in a 4x4 when Jimmy the final Grenadier haze of the USA in lane number four as expected as is George of Nigeria in lane number seven so trying to hold Jamaica go well with Gordon in lane so Jamaica Nigeria pays for the USA they'll swing round into the home straight it's the longest that 400 meter relay they stay in lanes and hand it over and Chris and Gordon of Jamaica's had a wonderful leg as mus Panera haze of the USA Lexi Han who hands over the first VC [Applause] to a subpoena mendl's athlete the world championship history real extent of the box drink to Jamaica injuring - McLoughlin will be is a huge lead already massive disappointment for the Jamaicans that creates an opportunity for others Madison Phoenix leads watch the Nigerians they're in second place Great Britain coming through in third and the box warnings in the polls trying to come right on the outside in a closet around here great running by the British quartet in third USA Great Britain Poland that's the top grade but look at the back to look for the other medals a need oil [Applause] brain Richard [Applause] the water Ruggiero trying to get back into this morning the American team the lead [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] down the breakfast [Applause] which is potentially Botswana macho try to get that but the UXA have gone the nice ronsis with [Applause] well there was some super force running by the French team and the night [Applause] by the Americans the mentioned the full path leads to the governor 50 seconds during that US team great running by them super running by the British team in Berlin rather difficult ones even finishing fast why you just can't fake that sort of quality and the Americans had it in depth didn't they and poured it on and toured it on Phoenix well when she strode down that Bank strength of the second leg it was all over that really was well let me read you out the splits that I got for the US team 50.5 for Hayes from a standing start then feeling 48.8 what an athlete cheers then Wembley 49:6 pretty good and fella sparks has brought the low 50.1 unpressed well a great performance from the American team Phoenix I think was that was the real key to that victory if there ever water the shoe made it through there'll be questions out of context but everybody else break ground by the Great Britain tragedy go to the Jamaican tune their second leg it was almost as if they left we could have moving challenge the Americans and it was all over well it's almost as in the Jamaicans are jinxed at this championship they have been so unlucky and so uncharacteristically out of sorts as opposed to the United States who now have ten golds ten silver medals and nine bronze medals great performance from the British quartet I think when the Jamaicans went out Cathy that gave them a massive opportunity and they took advantage of it and gave themselves a brilliant opportunity to hang on to surely go well they did they're always going to be in contention you know medalist a couple of years ago in the center of the shop their larvae and Nilson ran an absolutely storming second leg just like she did in the qualifying PT I don't know what her split was for the British athlete know what I haven't got that yet but I mean she ran 50.5 also in the qualifying in it this was shown at least as good tremendous reports and on all marks to our eighties oil to because she hasn't been in top form this year but they brought her in for this race slightly questionable to replace check straighten but she was very strong wasn't it when it mattered confirmation then USA take gold again 390 0 to Great Britain and Northern Ireland pick up a medal with silver and Poland pick up the bronze six seconds that's just an incredible winning margin totally dominant we look at Phyllis Frances here on the final leg it's a wonderful position to be in a four by four hundred meter relay I promise you when your teammates have done everything for you and you just have to coast round but look at the battle here vitia poland went wide into the second lane she had an absolute blinding leg as well the Polish athlete but such was the advantage that the British team had she couldn't close back on Emily diamond most fierce is one of those great athletes on relays particularly we've seen it time after time but she runs really well on the last leg for them they brought her in for that lovely smooth action here Americans in a different class for Allyson Felix she's got 16 World Championship medals she was desperately disappointed with her bronze in the individual 400 meters the relay split the fetus just told us well you know the story if she could have replicated that any individual then it would be a different story but some athletes a totally different aren't they in relays than what they are in the individual events I think really as I said before Felix's that second leg for me was a real highlight you know because she literally just tore down the black straight I've never seen her do anything like that in the individual and in the end she came back to that wonderful performance well anything sub 49 seconds in terms of obviously individual running is absolutely superb but even in relay running P through 48 points flicks something that many have done in recent years now you have to allow a little bit for a running start don't you say you weren't quite to replicate that in an individual race but that's certainly worth there well in the mid 49 s anyway well it was a wonderful race by the Americans standing championships for them
