today I will be recapping the most epic animation movie in 2024 called changan spoilers ahead relax and enjoy when the tubos army waged war against the Tang Dynasty in the first year of Emperor Dong's Reign they left everywhere in chaos even the en lusian borders the soldiers of Tang never saw this coming not even GOI the governor of the sick one command just when they thought they had defeated the tubos at the Yan Fort GOI notices another troop of soldiers advancing towards them he warns his men to stop the war and find refuge in lushi pass as soon as possible after arriving at lushi pass G learns that the tubos have surrounded changan and the emperor already fled the capital with his court gaosi is confused on what to do but he must follow the orders of the emperor to defend changin from the tuos and chase them away this is when GOI decides to interrogate a tuo prisoner whom the soldiers captured at Yashin however a soldier dashes in to inform gausi of the presence of Chang the military inspector sent by the emperor GOI instructs his servant to receive him while he interrogates the captive from tubo instead of querying the prisoner GOI requests that the captive be tied in the cold and then he attempts to kill himself for failing to protect changan inspector Chang finally arrives and of course GOI prepares his mind to be executed but Chang surprises him with series of questions the emperor wants to know his connection with Lei an old friend who he sought to kill 5 years ago this is when GOI Reveals His strong friendship with liai which started after the loss of his Royal parents at an early age firstly go Chi talks about his formidable grandfather who served Emperor zong as the Northeast Commander his grandfather played a huge role in conquering two kingdoms and when he died he was buried next to Emperor zong his father Goan wanted him to be like his grandfather so he placed a young GOI to learn martial arts at the age of seven and also made GOI to go to it is not silver or gold but the remains of his best friend wuyan whom he pledged to bury somewhere beautiful liby comes from a family related to the Imperial Clan he spends most of his times with the court officials giving them wise advices and strategies in hopes that they will one day recognize his talent and give him a post in court after giving a hungry gaoi some meat to eat liby pleaded with becoming an official so he Pathways with gaoi and decides to go to Yang sha while gawai decides to go to changan GA promises to visit him if he succeeds in changan as soon as he steps into changan GOI his old friend Li Bai who is now famous on getting to yanga he finds liby and is forced to accompany him to steal a beautiful Maiden from a banquet they escape on a boat but their happiness ceases the moment some men sail behind them searching for the maiden liby go and pishi are no match for the men and the Maiden is taken away from him forcefully this pains lieby but the maiden offers to dance one last time for him in appreciation liby offers her all the money on him and in addition his precious Jade ring GA wonders what happened to leby ambition to serve as an official after seeing his old friend living a wasteful life on wine and women but P sh Lei follower thinks otherwise claiming liba is doing well as a renowned poet goai is not satisfied with this so he challenges PA to a fight surprisingly pay she defeats GOI revealing her identity as a woman and the daughter of General pay who is a great swordsman yet reduced to a mere Sword Dancer Pichi discloses to them that she is the only inheritor of her father's swordsmanship yet she is a woman GOI feels ashamed of this defeat and he opts to go to shangu to train and regain his skills although liby wishes he stay behind in yangu next 6 hours if no action is taken but gaosi seems to have a plan so he tells inspector Chang to relax and listen to the rest of his story well let's see what made him a governor in shangu gaosi way to Yang xia to look for Li without delay Li and gaai run to meet me and horin before the boat sails off to yango they see him from afar and leby tries to get an answer from meon horen but the wind disrupts their communication through the use of his writing skills leby sends his message across to meon Horman who sends back a negative reply since nobody is supporting his plan to join his bride's family lby drags GOI to the yellow crane Tower to compete against Qui House's poem again but this time gaai part weighs with him and joins the Army a little spoiler for you this is not what brought GOI to what he is today all thanks to ga's strength he defeats a Frontline Cavalry leader and gets appointed as the captain of another Cavalry in jizu on the orders of the emperor the jizel Army is after the kittens and goshi's Cavalry is not enough to defeat them the Army never encounters the kittens rather they keep getting lured into traps set by the kittens so the emperor orders them to retreat this leaves goai angry and he makes up his mind to leave the Army and settle for poetry he heads to an inn and writes a new poem narrating his experience in jizo however liby shows up again locating him after seeing his new poem which is now popular in Tang libe tells gausi how he got sidelined after the death of his father-in-law and now he is an apprentice of the tost master danu but libag reveals something more shocking and lusan the northern part of Tang is planning to launch an attack on Tang the conversation no longer seems to be a secret when good the general of Longo sneaks up on them he threatens to kill Lie by for the knowledge of this secret but the Pingo Army comes after all of them guzi is fearless and he sends the Army away with just one threat later that night he reveals to liai and GOI about his execution all because he was blamed for a fire outbreak in a military Camp GOI offers to save guzii by begging Governor jesuan to Pardon him nights and days passed if there is no sign of gaoi and the day of gu's execution Creeps in liby attempts to stop the execution officers but he's not strong enough to defeat them this is when GOI shows up with the governor's pardon and they save G from getting beheaded the two friends spend time in solitude wondering what to do next gaai reminds Lei of their first meeting 10 years ago and this prompts lie B to set another date in the next 10 years gaosi returns to shangu again and retires to writing poems serving the emperor seems like a farfetch ambition because all the pron and officials wanted praise from people rather than poems every prominent official avoids GOI like a plate because of the poem he wrote in jiso 10 years later liby sends him a letter informing gausi of his acceptance into court on recommendation of Princess yzen he invites his friend to changan so he can follow the shortcut to become an official gausi arrives at Chen to meet fans of liai scattered around his gate he even reunites with duu the young man from prins's banquet they discover that liby is at the kujang house drinking wine and frolicking with maidens at the the kujang house gausi sees libe who is too drunk to remember he invited him this makes GOI disappointed at Li B's drinking habits taking his lead back to shenu years later duu visits gaai and shenu alongside another man with an old gate it's liba and for the first time he is sober the court is no longer his favorite place as the emperor's consort dislikes him and his wife is now dead so liby decides to be a TA West priest and he asks duu and GOI to support him in his ordination right at the taas temple in Janan GOI and dufu support liai both under the rain and the scorching Sun until he received his ordination belt they celebrate this achievement with a feast of drinking wine until dawn but GOI opts to leave for Longo and serve Governor jesuan as a military secretary it hurts Li B to see his friend leave so he challenges him to a wrestling duel GOI accepts to wrestle with liai and just like the old times he wins in Lango gausi serves the governor as a secretary in the war against the tubos despite 30,000 soldiers controlled by guu the tubos kept them locked in the Stone Fort for a year gaosi continues his job as a secretary and he sees Lee B again in xangang where he hears the news of his new wife in Fain moreover Tang is falling apart and many generals start to Envy The Throne now there is division in the country asusan has defected from Tang even jesuan becomes paralyzed during battle but he refuses to become a traitor like the other defectors there's no one to succeed him so the Ops to kill the traitors one after the other he begs GOI to escape and tell the emperor of the traitor in Tang when go enters changan he sees the city in complete chaos making him chased after the court that has flood the capital 6 months later Tang changes for good when Emperor daong assumes the throne and GOI becomes the governor of San command however trouble looms again as Prince Yong the son of Emperor sanging plans to rebel against GOI and take control of the sik one command to achieve this he begins to gather allies both generals Royals and Poets you guessed right Lei is an ally of Prince Young and he dedicates 11 poems to the prince praising his Victorious Spirit luckily GOI manages to execute Prince Young and all his allies face execution for committing treason even li is not excluded from this death row despite his claims of Innocence Li B's wife offers to retire to mount Lou and live in solitude but gaoi locks lead by in prison refusing to release him out of fear that negative rumors of their friendship will spread this brings the consistent intervention of GUI who intercedes to the emperor on lib's behalf inspector chain believes that gu's intervention is the reason behind ga's anger against him in case you forgotten GOI had something up his sleeves and maybe this is the perfect time to reveal it gausi is not injured as you thought and the blood stain on his neck was only aoy to delay time get all troops of the tuos closer to the walls of lushi and then defeat them moreover Yan woot and his reinforcement troops are on their way already this means There Is No Escape for the tubos anymore inspector Chang finally sees ga's plan and is excited that the governor could execute such a plan to save Tang after the intense war gausi is demoted and set to leave lushui only to hear the good news that the emperor granted an anesty to release Le Bay from Exile and as for duu GOI finds out that he is safe in yangu although he wanted to keep the secret that he convinced guzi to intercede for live by inspector chain already knows about it however gai returns to writing paes in shangu only to be called again to serve as Imperial adviser of bohai just a year after the death of his friend liby as for Tang It remains so peaceful even after the death of GOI and that was how the
