Why you should be cautious when buying a GP5 gas mask

hello everybody and uh this is why you should be wary of gp5 gas masks now the filters are the main part and uh also the axe mask now on specifically amazon and other sites they'll come with the mask tube and filter now you do not want to use the filters at all costs uh gas and two are fine as long as you clean the white powder that comes with them off completely um wash the tube out wash the mask off everything you do not want to inhale that now still sure i have a 1989 filter on this which is activated charcoal not asbestos the ones that you would get usually anyone from like 1985 to uh backwards would have asbestos and since they're that old the asbestos breaks out and you can inhale the asbestos which will cause cancer so you want to buy a filter now the gas mask may cost 10 bucks with the filter in the tuber on amazon but the filter for a new filter will cost you about 25 to 30 dollars i got this one on my surplus store for uh 25. so yeah they are a good gas mask this one's a little small for me got glass lenses uh pretty good for if you want to do an east german impression or just silly in general um yeah so basically it just be wary when buying these and uh don't use the filters they come with
