okay so i want you to see a background of what is happening jesus uh will give uh is going to give a command a command to his disciples jesus is about to um to confront uh gethsemane the word seminary means that where he was pressed i know many of you are being pressed press depressed obsessed and possessed so you need deliverance today so jesus was pressed in gethsemane and uh he he asked for the first time i want you to write that down uh he suffered an anguish and he is very painful death that he's gonna face and be it's the first time he asked his disciples for prayer covering lift and say prayer covering for the first time he never asked him for prayer covering it's the first time because he said i want to avoid listen to fall into temptation he said i don't want to get out of the will of god and please pray for me and then they ask him he asked him three times listen look at me and then jesus came what came can we read it together one three go go and jesus came with them unto the place called gethsemane where he was pressed and into his disciples sit ye here and i go and pray yonder verse 37 and he took with him peter and two sons of zebedee and began to servable and very heavy in other words he was very heavy because what is about to face verse 38 and then he said unto them my soul is succeeding horrible even unto death tarry ye here a wave here and watch with me everybody live try and say watch okay that's the first time he asked verse 39 okay and he went into a little a farther and fell onto his face let's pray together and pray saying oh father if be possible come on come on let this cup pass from me nevertheless not as i will but as uh well verse 40. come on come on quickly and then as he come into his disciple and found them what what did he ask him before watch and pray and now what they were doing okay they were sleeping and then said unto peter what would you say not watch what could ye not watch with me one hour not even one hour one hour verse 41 watch and pray that ye enter into temptation and the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak okay so verse 42 i think it's verse 42 and then for the second time pray on my father for this cup and then again i want you to see something the the background what is happening he said please pray that i cannot fall into temptation now he uses certain words and i want you to write him down he used the word watch he used the word sleep he used the word pray so i want you to write down those that are watching by the internet i want you to keep connecting because god wants to speak to your life and the things that had happened in your life one of the reason is because you had not been watching and praying anything that happened in your marriage anything that happened in your finances maybe your health maybe with this virus and let me give you an introduction why i'm talking about this today the lord said to me because of the of the times we're living in there's a time that this are very dangerous time literally dangerous times evil times the evil is coming more evil every day you see how the wickedness of men the corruption of men is become more wicked and wicked and we're living in a time that in just the moment that the enemy that you open a door to the enemy the enemy will come and it hit your heart so that's one of the reason you must be watching and praying all the time and this is jesus said if he asked for prayer how much more us we need somebody else to pray for us so i want you to see those certain words watch and pray so the introduction of this is i want you to see the first revelation of the verses you just read the first revelation is this and i want you to write it down jesus said i'm going to give you a command and a command is to watch and pray in other words when jesus gives a command it doesn't have any option it's because there's no another option in other words he said i'm going to give you a new commandment to love one another in other words he said there's nothing else besides that you must you must you must do that it's a commandment so the first thing jesus did was he gave them a commandment a command an order and jesus said the command of christ is to watch and pray there is no option and i want you to write it down the purpose of this teaching is to um is to see because people that are watching and praying are the people that will see the coming of the lord if you don't if you're not watching and praying you're not going to be able to see it the second purpose of this command was to prevent attacks of the enemy in other words watching in watching and praying you will be able to see to perceive to hear and god will show you attacks of the enemy that you can be prepared and ready to overcome those attacks can i hear an amen so first is to see the purpose of this commandment or watching and praying is to see his second coming the people that don't watch and pray will not be able to see it number two to prevent attacks in the future i have been in prayer and the lord has as i was watching and pray not only praying but watching and praying as i was watching the lord showed me something and i saw and i was a be able to prevent something sometimes i prevented a death sometimes i prevented when i've been watching i prevented a businessman to make an investment that it was going to be a failure and the lord said to me tell him not to do it but that was when i was watching and praying god show me in my spirit to tell that person i literally saved so many businessmen and business women a lot of money because when they said to me can you pray about this and i said i feel that is from god or this i feel this is not from god so what i'm the lord is showing me something ahead of time what the enemy wants to do so his second reason to watch and pray is to prevent the attacks of the enemy danger judgment prevention lift your hands and say prevent say it louder please prevent in other words have in your mind to watch and pray is to prevent something prevent a death prevent a judgment over a person prevent something of an attack of the enemy over your life your family that's the reason and number three is to um is to avoid for you to fall into temptation that is the third reason why the bible says you must watch and pray is to avoid temptation temptations there's a lot of temptations today in the number one temptation right now in the atmosphere of this of this nation and in the world is the temptation to quit i wish i can hear an amen it's a temptation to give up because you see your circumstance is so big you see so many history said this is a big problem i'm gonna quit no god brought you today to tell you don't quit don't quit don't quit what you need to do is watch and pray for god to deliver you to come out of that temptation sin and temptation always come to a person when that person is not watching and praying every time you're not watching the enemy will gain entrance into your life can i hear amen on that so and lastly the purpose of the command he said i am giving you a new command and this is for you to watch and pray and then he said to stay or to keep you awake in other words you cannot be sleeping and watching at the same time and then he said you must be watching because i don't want you to be sleeping now we understand um how things happening for example one of my prophets here in the house uh show me something about an issue that that that the media wanted to do against me in the ministry and she had a vision of a tree and and that she saw the tree the lord showed exactly the plan of the enemy as she was watching and praying and she went and hid it and she prayed and prayed until she saw like the big problem the big issue against me in the ministry by the media and she saw as a tree falling on the floor and the lord said i got it [Applause] so the lord showed her ahead of time to watch and pray you will avoid to fall into that business into that situation if you are watching and praying live try and say watch it and pray so now what's the first revelation watching and pray is a commandment it's not you a feeling it's not something jesus said if you want to watch him pray if you want to know this is not uh this is not an option you must watch him pray let's let's define the word watch lift and say watch so though the word watch let's go back again when he put it on the verses he said watch the word watch to be be vigilant to be supernaturally awakening and then he said put the verse when he say watch okay he said watch with me jesus said watch with me it means to be awakened to be in a state of readiness to be prepared to be alert to be aware i'm going to say it again means to be awakened to be in a state of readiness to be alert to be aware to perceive in the spirit to be in positional war in other words you'll be alert you'll be standing in other words you cannot watch and pray without being awake being alert being in a state of readiness so we see for example um when you see those people that we have a company here and the church that that is watching over the church we call the security company and and they are the two three cars around the buildings and i've been here staying until 12 or 1 a.m in the morning studying in my in the building and i see they're going around and they see it watching but one of these days i saw somebody and one of them was in the car and was sleeping and i said oh oh he was sleeping i didn't go and call his boss and say hey i got one here i got a watchman on the wall sleeping now when you're sleeping that's when thief come thief the thief will never come to you when he sees that you are watching he only comes to you when he sees that you're sleeping you're not watching the opposite of watching in the spirit in the natural is to have the eyes open and the natural is always being open for example i've been at 2 30 last night i got up and i fell in my spirit to get up uh there was no thief around my houses my house and i didn't feel well somebody when i you know breaking into my house no but i felt in the spirit dimension there was something going on so i it was beyond my physical eyes when jesus said watch and pray is beyond the physical eyes that means in the spirit lift your hand say in the spirit come on say in the spirit is watch in the spirit in other words as you see in the natural when the thief come jesus said i want you to see in the spirit dimension this the sphere dimension is an invisible realm that you perceive with the eyes of the spirit by faith and you perceive what's going on so there's a lot of things what's going on let me tell you what else is going on in the atmosphere and the atmosphere there's a sphere of fear and and you've been you're doing something and suddenly that thought of fear come upon your life and said to you oh you're gonna catch the virus and and something in your mind comes but what do you do if you're not if you're sleeping you said oh yeah maybe yeah i touch something oh my god i and then you start thinking and playing but if you awaken the spirit and you said wait a minute wait a minute in jesus name i've rebuked every demonic thought in my life and i am healed by the stripe of jesus and i have divine immunity on my body my soul and my spirit and my children somebody have to chop oh so this is so powerful so being watching in the spirit is not watching like in the natural it's watching uh in the spirit dimension something that you see beyond your natural eyes and listen to this when you are watching when you are alert when you are awakening in the spirit you're not thinking in something else you're not in the flesh to watch and pray you must be in the spirit so this is so powerful so if we see for example when you are watching when i've been watching this is something i want you to alert you and i came here as an apostolic voice to wake you up [Music] many of you are spiritual sleeping you are losing your business and you're not doing anything about it you are losing your marriage and you're not and you don't even sense it you don't even see it you are losing everything and then your new boberia you i want you to wake up today and i came as an apostolic voice to wake you up wake up church that jesus is coming back wake up to pray wake up stand up be ready wake up be alert i will sound the alarm i will sound the alarm to every one of you to say i'm gonna wake up to fights [Music] where is the trumpet come on let's go so when you are watching nothing will take you sudden when you are watching you are prepared three when you are watching nothing take you by surprise when you are watching when you are watching listen to me when you are watching you for example any army any army base has a watchman called control tower and is always to place to see all around to see all around and look at this it cannot be seen coming traffic in other words when you're watching this is a watchman of the wall if i speak this morning i would say i'm one of those watchmen on the wall as an apostle of god i am a watchman on the wall i watch over you i watch over the church i watch over over my family and i'm watching and look at habakkuk chapter 2 verse 1 and i want you to see something powerful and write this down any army without a watchtower has no defense any army without a watch tower has no defense in other words if you're not watching you don't have no defense you need high immune system to defend yourself from that virus but you need to have three you do something in the natural take vitamins and two you do something in the supernatural you get the blood and say i put blood immune my body against the virus somebody have to say something in the back in other words you but if you're not watching this is something so powerful any army without any defense i will stand this guy was a prophet and then he said i will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower many of you the reason the enemy enter in your family in your body is because you were not watching you were you were out of your post thank you one amen you out of your post so we are watchmen on the wall lift your hand say i am a watch woman on the wall watch man on the walk come on come on come on say it watching what you not every day at 3 a.m in the morning checking your house physically but you are in the morning praying see what god shows you what the enemy wants to do against your body against your children and then you will go and hit the enemy and break that plan before it comes to you
