absolutely bonkers it's just such a playful film and I read the guests laughed from beginning to end it was one of the funniest scripts I'd read it just reminded me of all those films I'd loved growing up there's John Carpenter movies The Terminator films and I sat down with Adam and we quickly established that our favorite film was Big Trouble in Little China and as soon as we establish that we were off to a flying start you know and we just had a lot of fun making a movie that just makes you feel good in a cinema you know it's a really it's a fun one it's really crazy but you're really creepy I mean you are very far from Matthew Crawley that character Sean and creepy funny Chinese scary was that a tough decision for you to walk away from Downton Abbey a lot of people were surprised when it happened I don't know that you had projects like this necessarily lined up you just thought it was a gut thing I didn't have this lined up you know I didn't know what I was gonna be stepping onto but something in my gut told me that it was it was time to explore you know pack up my bags and head west and yeah it's been a fun couple of years you know just challenging myself in a few different ways you could be a life coach I mean that's a huge leap of faith not having something a lot it's a long way there's a lot of scene between yeah and it has it's been it's been an interesting journey just sort of you know pushing the envelope and and seeing what sort of mad things we can come up with really [Music]
