Of course they can, if they study our texture and practice.

But the question isn't can they (because some white people can do black hair better than black people) it's "will they?". I went to a college in a rich, white city and I remember calling salons to ask if they do black hair. I was told no and they immediately hung up on me.

And the way said, "no" was the same way a rational person would respond if I asked them to drink piss. Seriously.

After calling 10 salons and being told the same thing, it started to hurt.
