hey there steve and peg from loves to travel as always thanks for checking out our videos we really do appreciate it heading up to costco for a rare friday afternoon visit to costco because we have the new costco sales flyer that came in the mail yesterday so we want to check out some things that are in there before we get into that though please if you have not yet hit the subscribe button after the video is done because that helps us out immensely so costco uh the new sales brochure for uh for june and july what's the dates on that 6 23 to 7 25. so it starts today's what the uh 18th i believe yeah so it's going to start next week so let's get parked we'll get inside we'll look at prices at costco and pick up some things that we need and look at some prices of stuff that we don't need so let's get parked and head on in like they're rechargeable work lights um gretel 627 this i don't know what still this is this is instant savings yeah i'm not sure why they're having instant savings this is the sale is over so this must be an in-store sale yeah 2000 lumen rechargeable led work light these are cool um i've have a work light at home it's not like this but it's still bright but this is a good price that's 30 bucks normally 39.99 10 off not 29.99 30 bucks for this actually really good price and storage totes i think that's going on sale next month next month during the sale uh actually it's 849 now dollar off so you get it for 7.49 right right here is the ad for it so for the spring cleaning going into summertime there you go who was talking to you about the drivers not drivers but wedges well here's the putter those are putters those are kirkland putters um i have a ping putter so i don't need a putter but this is a good price on wedges you got a gap wedge you got a sand wedge you got a lob wedge golfers know exactly what i'm talking about 159.99 it's not on sale but it's a great price for a set of wedges if you need wedges really there's a 52 degree wedge there's a 56 degree wedge there's a 60 50 52 a 56 and a 60 degree wedge to get it on the sand trap to get it out of the sand trap and to uh to chip it in from just outside the green depending on how much loft you want to put on the club is which wedge you grab and then if you want a golf bag there's a pebble beach golf stand bag for just 120 bucks this isn't bad i'm gonna pull this out honey this isn't bad because what it is when you set it down with clubs in it that's how it works so and it's got it's got the back strap on it so that you can carry it like a like a book bag so that's very cool um i don't think they have it i think this is the only one they got i don't see any more here i think that's the last one they got here and also gloves um golf gloves are good make sure you get the right size but i think they just have small yes that's all they have is small i don't see any that's all they said small they're all small so if you got small hands there you go i still don't understand the deal behind copperfit i really don't i see all the advertisements for but i don't understand what caught my eye though was the cooling towels the four packs of pooling towels five dollars off again through the 27th of this month um normally 19.99 five dollars off 14.99 these are great to have like for example if you're at disney or over at cedar point or one of the parks and if you haven't heard all the disney parks are open all the disney parks are open they still won't say what the capacity is in uh in california but it is still limited capacity but all the parks are open and masks are no longer required if you're fully vaccinated in florida and anywhere even even in even in uh l.a really yeah you don't need to wear a mask if you're fully vaccinated and yes uh someone asked us about the ohana noodles they someone did protests all over twitter and posted that and they did bring back the ohana noodles back on the menu someone was mentioning yes good that makes me happy um you said something about bath sheets being honest yes um bath sheets and bath towels they are really important not on sale now but they will be on sale right yeah so right now what 7.99 what do they go on sale for three dollars you can get it for 4.99 so you know we were talking about inflation these did not go up no this is the same price they were last december when they were on a week before christmas sale let me show you the towel that's the towel and that's actually not a small towel either and this is we do use these this is actual ones i use they're 30 by 58 they're a good size towel and they are priced really well and we were talking about inflation in the last few videos this did not go up so if you want to stock up stock up this is an amazing price yeah really 4.99 is a great price for bath towels and i also took a look look at the big one which is at kohl's and that's the one we bought they are 4.99 and this is a better towel than that okay so just to give you a fyi it's the same model number as it was in february so this has not gone up in price if it's six nine ls 210 off this is a great price for it so same eski code right right same skew code some same model number which is six six four nine two seven and then the six six four nine two seven so we're gonna get you're gonna get two bags two big bags in that box right so and we we got some last time on sale so right we're gonna get more because our son went through it so it's gonna be six six nine nine less 210 off yeah not now though when it was on sale it goes on sale with the 23rd you said the 23rd 623 beautiful so we do the math that is 4 um 89. so that's a really good price yep okay so we're going to get a 35 pack um because the price of soda right now at kroger is three for 13.99 three for 14 bucks a lousy price and it's 11.29 here for 35. uh pack of soda and it's actually gone down in price it's actually gone down 40 cents in the last couple of months it was a 11 69 or even 11.79 it's gone down to 1129 for the 35 pack best price in town right now monsters goes on sale starting on the 23rd my kids used to love monsters let me rephrase that my kids used to be addicted to monsters they went through so much of it 33.99 for 24 cans of monsters uh it's gonna be what seven dollars off so it's going to be 26.99 starting on the 23rd of june yeah it's a variety pack so not the other ones not the uh the white or the the black just the variety pattern we'll see when and what happens on the yeah they might they might turn the other ones all of them into uh to do on sale on the 23rd right now in the the ad just says the variety pack and there's a weird sale going on because there's not supposed to be a sale going on but we're seeing signs for a sale going to the 27th which i was not sure why this there's one going to 27. it's like instant savings uh and i'm not sure that all costcos are just here so i can't vouch for that and dixie place was going on sale too the dixie uh the 186 count these are the big the big package 16.79 right now what's it going sale for 370 off so you're going to get 370 off so it's going to be 1309 for the big pack and that's the ones we grab every you know when we have to grab paper plates that's a good price a lot of times paper plates is a lot easier to deal with than uh thin washing dishes i know there's detergent on sale but i want to go back and talk about paper products first is that okay that's fine because have you seen the coupons that have been going around what is it five dollars off for sherman at was it sam's club or costco what's costco last week last week well their price was okay the price wasn't too bad so online price is definitely higher than in store so you just have to confirm it in store because the online bounty was way more than this i think it was like 25 versus 21 so this is 21.79 and it is going on sale next month for five dollars off and we do need paper towels around our last package so that'll be 16.79 i said we were out of paper towels so we even looked at the price of this it's not on sale but still it's a better price than the bounty right it's 0.1 0.016 per square foot and the bounty is 0.031 so actually the bounty is way more more expensive than this one 0.031 per square foot compared to point one six oh one six yeah so and we've found over the years that the kirkland paper tells her just as good as bounty no offense intended to bounty the quicker picker-upper to steal to steal a line but the kirkland signature the creative size rolls are just as good so if you can pick up a one please sweetie you want to get one now there you go 22.99 for charmin right now five dollars off so 17.99 is the price of charmin what was the coupon was i it was that's this is it's good till the 20th oh okay so it's just uh not a coupon but it's just an advertisement email right it was on an email so this is and if you need toilet paper that's a good price yeah and then go through what the 20th you said yes okay one of the things that uh peg noticed was the kirkland trash bags have gone up in price from the last time we bought them how much were they regularly priced last time we bought them well right now they're 15.49 right last time they were 14.69 okay last 330 instant savings but the last time we bought it was in february and here is the receipt so we see so you can see it in february 1469 last 330 is what we bought yeah the same kind of foil we got it at sam's here at costco the big rolls are 14.99 the small rolls are 17.99 you get more square footage with the small rolls than you do with the big rolls um but they're going to go on sale both of them for four dollars off so you get the big rolls for 10.99 you'll get the small rolls for uh 13.99 and again that starts on the 23rd and that is a good price so i would stock up on foil yep because i heard you said aluminum pricing well aluminum prices are going up um i mean you look at that's what caused the price of soda to go up in the cans because the price of aluminum went up so you know prices are starting to drop on materials so hopefully that will be reflected to um product well everybody talked about inflation but everything i've researched has shown it's more of a supply chain issue than really inflation there is inflation but it's more of a supply chain issue causing it rather than um actual problems my kids love these the ling ling chicken pot stickers the 4.2 pound bag it's 10.79 now but it's going down isn't it for sale yep three dollars off limit two so you get it for 7.79 and again my kids love these and they're easy to make so you just pan fry them right hon yeah it's really really easy to like make like for example right now we bought this one this month remember we bought this is the mini chicken one time yeah there's no limit and that's a still a great price it's good till 627. it doesn't look like they well oh they have some left this is what they look like yep so this is really a good price and this is a really good buy sell if you want to grab this before they run out this is a great price for the mini chicken wontons 9.99 now four dollars off 5.99 and again that runs through the 20 i can't read that now it's fogged up once to the 27th actually honey so we use those in wonton soup we use those just cook it and pan fry it we use them mixed in with udon noodles so we use it for quite a few options that's a great price too 5.99 so and no limit now the uh the ling ling pot stickers there would be a limit of two on those when those go on sale you can get the healthy choice organic fudge bars 18-count box of 1089 right now how much does it go on sale for 350 off so you're gonna get that for seven seven thirty nine should i do my math right and there are a hundred calories each that's not bad at all it's made with cocoa a low-fat organic fudge bars and i like fudge bars so i might try those your cheese is on sale honey the craft singles will be cool 9 49 right now what's it going sale for three dollars off of 6.49 three packages of singles in there four pounds since it's oh then it's four packages four one pound packages it's processed but that is steve's favorite cheese and nothing is better than toasted cheese sandwiches on a cold winter day or is it grilled cheese sandwich is it toasted cheese or grilled cheese can you um are you asking a survey yeah toasted cheese or grilled cheese i've always called them toasted cheese sandwiches now i know some people call them toasties but my question is is it toasted cheese sandwiches or is it grilled cheese sandwiches what do you think could you please put that in the comments below and if you want to let me know your favorite cheese you put on a grilled cheese sandwich because we're lightful cheese sandwiches and my sons and i use provolone how do you dress up your grilled cheese sandwiches too a lot of times peggle make them grilled ham and cheese sandwiches right and also that we have a full food truck in our town we oh that's right oh yeah and they charge 12 for a grilled cheese sandwich i'm so sorry but i cannot pay 12 for a grilled cheese sandwich because i can make my own they are good though i've had them they're good one of the things we've used for years is finish we've always liked finish it's got the powerball in it 15.85 now we stocked up on it last time it went on sale and we still have a few left but it goes on sale again how much off four dollars off four dollars off so you're gonna get the finish for 11.85 which is a great price and you're also going to get the all is the finished ultra the jet dry is also on sale for four for four dollars off so you're going to get that for 6.99 those are great prices on finish but i will tell you if you have a sam's club membership you should have bought it last month because it was a better price that's where we got it that's why we stocked up right so this is 125 tabs on a sims club one was 117 taps so the price per piece was literally less than a 0.00 difference one or two difference so it's still a great price 11 11.85 on sale next week uh on the 23rd it starts but the issue is limit one yeah that is that is the issue limit one wow i do not like that but i guess you could come in buy it and go back and come back with costco you can sam's club you can't go no costco you can you come and buy it and come in another time and buy it okay okay i didn't know that i know that sam's club you can't because they track you on your card now you said tide is on sale right no our all is on sale too we've got to get that because we actually need one we do not now but we can get it next week when it goes on sale the uh free and clear all 14.99 right now it's going on sale for four dollars off so you get that for 10.99 great price for that and that is still a great price it has not gone up because we usually buy for 10.99 so it has not gone up yet so if you can stock up on it and the limit is five we're not going to go through five but i might get i might get two right now you said tide is on sale though right right which one the he right here so the he liquid laundry 158 loads you can do with this 2489 right now goes on sale for five dollars off she'll actually get that for 19.89 which again is a great price 208 ounces 158 loaves also going on sale on the 23rd is gain their he liquid laundry detergent 17.99 right now and that goes on sale for 3.60 off so that's going to take that down to 14.39 that puts on 146 loads of between tied all and gain actually all is the best price per load yes it is so it's giving you lots of options yep this isn't even close to your price point no we found it last week at sam's club 289 a pound here what was it at sam's when we got it i think 182 per pound so the one thing about this this is air chilled and is already pre-packaged so that is the difference if you want to pay per pound for it so just basically cut these up and throw it in the freezer makes it easy i literally we ate like a third of the chicken and we froze it and i used paper so and we did buy this for a lot higher when um there was no food but there's something i want to talk about is the watermelon because we found watermelon at kroger if you want to check our program video i'll link it here for how much was it 399 299 299 yes that's the best price in town right now on watermelons anyway yeah and how did you pick up a watermelon i know you showed i was told i got a graphic from one of our viewers that showed me what to look for in a watermelon and it's basically how round the watermelon is and how big of a yellow spot there is underneath it i saw that one there this isn't really round but look at the yellow spot the yellow the bigger the yellow spot the sweeter it is so that's the one thing i took away from that so like i said the more round it is the better it is as well the more and you can tell how ripe it is by talking on it wow listen to the different value you can't now you but this is 6.99 versus 290. yeah so peg is getting strawberries um 439 for a two-pound pack so that's not bad at least we can find them yeah what was it a month ago you couldn't find strawberries anywhere in town mobile one synthetic oil is going on sale six one quart bottles 37.99 right now it goes on sale for 10 off you're gonna get it for 27.99 and again that starts on the 23rd so if you do your own oil changes with synthetic that's a great price and as i say selection varies by location yeah gotta always gotta have the disclaimer say hi to stella they got a lot of stella why do you have so much stella i don't know it's for father's day why would they have so much style over father's day i have no idea but there's that's a lot of stella we've got one of these just not like that the jump start that's a great idea to have in your car if you need it just something to throw in the back of your car we've needed it too we've had we had two batteries go bad on us in the same day okay so there's a couple going on right now this one is to 627 which is the bigger one it's five dollars off 24.99 dropping it down to 19.99 that's the bigger flashlight oh that's a whopping big flashlight that takes that takes what 10 double a's oh my gosh that's very difficult takes 12 double a's i won't buy that just because of that look at that well even these the smaller flashlights are 19.99 are they going on sale yes so they're gonna go on sale five dollars off so you get that for 14.99 starting on the 23rd each of these take four double a batteries actually those trip those are aaa see it takes four triple a's so but you can never have enough you can never have enough flashlights but the batteries are included on those they are but again batteries go dead so and we just stocked up on double a's and aaa's didn't we we did the ds and the i think the nine volts oh the voltage yeah the nine volts so if you need a generator and i would recommend a generator to anyone that's got a sump pump uh in case your power goes off trust me on this you don't want a flooded basement they've got one that's going to go on sale for 200 off starting on the 23rd the uh 7 7 500 running watt generator 899.99 right now 200 off you're going to get it for 699.99 that is a great price for a 7 500 watt generator i mean ours is 5 000 watts and we paid 600 for it and that was eight years ago so that's a great price for a generator i do recommend getting a generator if you've got a sump pump or if you live like in the south where it's hurricane season and i heard did you hear hurricanes it has started i knew hurricane sean has started you said something uh earlier though today about maybe one developing in in the gulf yes there is supposed to be one um hopefully it doesn't develop but there is supposed to be one okay well a generator is always a good idea if you don't have one you might want to get one that's a great price 200 bucks off starting on the 23rd they also have a smaller one i don't know about the smaller one though i'd go with the bigger one if you have they have a smaller one now 450 but that doesn't go on sale that's the last one wow that is the last one they got here anyway we kind of walked by this and then all of a sudden peg says we need to get a grabber i'm like what and she turns around and shows me that as it gets as we get older and older and the back gets more and more sore i should say this is actually not a bad idea for and there's two of them i really do like this i am so sorry this is so cute and there's side magnet tools so you can pick up things that are magnetic so wow am i here am i getting this yeah we were getting it okay some things that we don't ever expect like oh this is great see socks and really i love this this is exciting i never knew i was so excited if you have a sock that falls between the washer and the dryer there you go it's not ext it might be extendable yeah i think it's extendable too i think it extends does it yeah yeah it does okay it's extendable yeah it does it could be like one of the disney people who picks up trash as you can tell we're in a disney state of ran through some things that are going to go on sale here starting on the 23rd of june and the member only savings book that we got in the mail yesterday there's a lot of other things in there we just ran through a few things again the sale running june 23rd through july 25th the thing that struck me as one of the better deals in there that i could see is the generator especially as we head into hurricane season down south two hundred dollars off the 7500 watt generator i think it was 699.99 was the final price right honey right plus tax plus tax so 200 off a 7 500 watt generator is a great
