so in our bible study we were able to see that god created man insufficient and the reason is because he designed man to function by grace we were able to receive a walking definition of grace and what was it the spirit the spirit is involved such capacities that you are not capable of in your natural disposition that can only be sourced in the spirit of god that god uses as the spiritual energy to drive you so that you have capacity to do the natural supernaturally and to do the supernatural naturally for instance it's not natural to hear god when you find grace god will speak to you as he spoke with to moses as a man speaking unto his own friend it's a supernatural thing but because of grace it flows though it were natural so god has called us to a supernatural life and that is only possible through that resource called grace and every time grace is absent the symptom that you're going to find is what we call insufficiency whenever you find insufficiency in your life is a pointer to the fact that there is a lack of grace in that area before we go into how to source i just want you to understand that you cannot even prosecute your christian life apart from grace it's impossible because when you attempt hallelujah when you attempt to fulfill the demands of god you attempt to fulfill the demands of god apart from grace the experience you're going to have is the experience that the israelites had under the law the law was perfect the law was reflective of the value system of heaven the law was the law derived from hallelujah so god's value system was brought into the world of men but the challenge with the arrangement in the old testament was that there was no grace god was not there to enable them to fulfill the expectations that god was making available to them so instead of the lord being an agency of deliverance he became an instrument of condemnation so if you run your christian life outside of grace you will find that your status your experience will be that of outright condemnation because you are going to fall short of the expectations of god christian life was designed to run on the fuel called grace in the next lecture we also saw that the grace of god is manifold but i didn't have so much time to show us different layers of grace and that's not the body not my heart is even because the holy ghost is progressive different layers of grace you'll find saving grace you know the bible says by grace are we saved through faith it is not of yourselves it is the gift of god lest any man should boast so the container that brought the possibility for salvation is grace but this the product that grace made available became your possession when you engaged your faith when you exercised your faith you took advantage of what was possible in grace and that's how you became saved are you with me the same scripture reveals that we were saved in order for us to walk in things that god has ordained preordained right and he calls those things good works it means that there is another level of grace that establishes you in the works that god has ordained that you should walk in before the foundation of the world hallelujah and the bible says that god is able to make all grace abound so god is not miserly as it has to do with making grace available because he knows that that is the resource through which your life can be prosecuted i brought personal testimonies one of the personal testimonies i brought was that i was born as tamara and i could not speak and god called me to be a preacher and the reason why i can speak the way i do today is because i found grace because the symptoms of star marine are still with me if i'm not preaching and i speak to you sometimes you'll find that i have so much difficulty in communicating and expressing myself but once that grace comes the limitation that i have in speaking is suspended hallelujah i brought practical testimonies and i told you about the fact that because i came from a family that i was among one of the youngest and so if you get angry people will slap you and if they get angry they'll also slap you so the end point of any turbulence is that you understand what i'm talking about and because of that i developed the ability to lie as a means of survival and i i prospered in it i excelled in it i had laser-guided lying powers and it came to pass when i became serious with the lord and and and it's as if anywhere i go and someone preaches they must talk about life lie so i knew that it was not it was not right for me to continue that but i didn't have the ability to stop lying because the spirit had was involved you just like someone that stands fornication casually you start to say okay it's only every friday i will follow then when a spirit a spirit will see that you are looking you are you need help so the spirit of immorality will not come to help you at that point you cannot choose when you fornicate because the authority of your will to regulate your life would have been lost long time it will it will take the hand of god to deliver you from that situation and that's how i saw the grace of god break the influence of the lying spirit over my soul and in the eyes of god there is nothing as strong as grace the eyes of god how i wish i can take you there is a message i will end this series with a message the central bank of grace there's a central bank system that that that is a holding capacity for all of the graces that god has been available that's where i'll end it so that you can see it from the perspective of god's eternal purpose and as we arrive the implementation phase you will see the resources that god has made available to transform falling men into such sons of god that can adequately represent his interest his character his perspective and his strategy upon the face of the earth that is only possible by what grace now so i don't have because we couldn't talk about go and study the manifold grace of god the different layers the different streams of the grace of god now even if you see if you take a an inventory of a ministry all right you will find that there are different streams of grace in different ministries are you with me okay all right um like my brother massabek he he has this very bogus prayer grace prayer comes naturally to him comes so naturally to him he just flows like that and my brother chief donatus is like that he comes so naturally to him so naturally you will know that the area that god wants to be quite authority to such individuals is in the area of prayer right if they stand in that area they cannot be wrong what comes naturally to me is the ability to to find the mind of god in scripture comes naturally remember grace makes supernatural things what becomes naturalism comes natural if i want to preach i'll start praying for mourning just praying i will not open the bible i'll just be praying pray for morning afternoon then when it gets to like three o'clock four o'clock i'm expecting feedback and then the lord will just drop one scripture that's all that's all i need one scripture or you just start talking say did you notice what just happened ah he has opened yes his mind to me the moment he opens his mind to me the seed of that word that he has spoken will begin to flood my heart like like like an infectious disease when my heart is flooded there is no limit to the possibilities of delivery when they are leading prayer what what comes to me what comes to me is scripture so we are not the same we are expressions of different signs of the grace of god in our best and that is supposed to be a revelation of the fact that there is no man that is a compendium of every stream of grace because the principle by which the body of christ was designed to function is the principle of interdependence so god by an act of his wisdom never gave to one individual all that it would take to drive his agenda upon the face of the earth so you will need to depend on the grace coming from another and that's how the entire body can be galvanized with strength hallelujah i say hallelujah [Applause] so grace is manifold and it's needful in your diligent study of the move of god on your life to know what grace is operational in your life for instance if we have a meeting now and we say okay sister gift is going to preach we say sister stella we preach we say um um um who else isaac and then there are 25 preachers if you are the 25th preacher if you don't know the stream of god that is at work in your life you might feel that maybe gift move the crowd and then you try to do what she did it means you don't know yourself you have no identity stay in the grace that he has given you that's how we walk and that's how we win if you're hiding grace it means you heed yourself before you showed yourself and it will be the hand of god that will be made manifest the grace of god is manifold and when god wants to empower a man he doesn't necessarily give him money gives him grace it is a grace that comes upon him that becomes the basis of his influence if his influence is tied to any other thing but grace when he rises he will fall hallelujah my own shall now exalt like the horn of a unicorn i shall be anointed with fresh oil so tonight in view of the fact that it is understood that grace is the resource that god makes available to an individual in order to make him sufficient to prosecute his destiny sufficient to accomplish the will of god for his life sufficient in all things the bible says that god is able to make all grace because there are so many types of grace he can make all grace abound toward you and the reason why he is willing to do that and he's not miserly about that is because he wants you to find all sufficiency in the grace of god are you with me so if you find that it's difficult for you to hear god it means you are lacking in that line of grace and i'm going to tell you in the subsequent lecture we have on this subject how to find grace yes you know the sermon showed us an orientation it's a pictorial metaphor i will look onto the heels from whence come at my head that orientation is the perspective that must be held if you are in search of grace is a humbling moment of acknowledging that you are insufficient at the heart of every such adventure is the overwhelming consciousness of your insufficiency we will do that as one of the major subjects of our classes today i want to talk about a more sober aspect of grace a more sober aspect of grace maybe i will call our little lecture today engaging grace the wrong way i looked for a way to title it and even this time tool i give it now is not sufficient it doesn't cover the scope full scope of the body that is troubling my heart are you still with me all right so there are three ways three ways we can relate with grace inaccurately all right so let's begin this lecture the first way is what we call the abuse of grace the abuse of grace the abuse of grace and my text for the night will be drawn from the book of romans chapter 6 verse 1 the abuse of grace in romans chapter 5 apostle paul attempts to show us the origin of all things it gives us a good idea of our status as falling people that are falling from the glory of god the original habitat that god created for which he intended humankind to function in is a habitat of glory a habitat of glory but unfortunately sin made us fall from glory the bible says for all have sinned and fallen short of what of the glory of god so he he brings up a thesis in the book of romans chapter 5 to show us how the claims of divine justice was satisfied and when the claims of divine justice was satisfied the original sin which is the rebellion of humankind against the ways of god was blotted out because divine justice was satisfied and the requirement of divine justice is according to the statement that god made to adam in the garden of eden in the day that you eat of this fruit in dying he shall surely die so the requirement of divine justice was that was penalty of death and that's why the high place of the fulfillment of the ministry of jesus was that place of sacrifice where he pays the price on behalf of humankind the bible is speaking about jesus trying to give us an immortal perspective of the personality jesus and in the book of john chapter 1 the bible says we beheld his glory as owned as the only begotten of the father and jesus was full of grace jesus was full of truth that's the balance that's what balance his grace is truth he was full of grace and truth and so when jesus was killed he was emptied of grace so that we can have access to his content it's just like an orange how many of you like oranges oranges and you and then you squeeze out all the juice how does the orange look like when there's no juice inside dude have you taken inventory it doesn't look full as it was before so jesus was emptied of himself and that's what that scripture means when the bible says we know the grace of our lord jesus christ that he became paul of grace he became empty of grace he poured out his content so that you can become full of him you understand that oh my you're not with me you're not here i'm trying to show you the source of grace it was a virtue of jesus christ himself that was made available to you as the fuel to drive your life it means that anyone that knows grace at all that walks in the grace of god you are actually walking in the virtue of jesus's essence and that makes you totally indebted to jesus all the days of your life if you have ever touched grace before oh my okay no if you didn't get that let me let me not press it if you didn't get that one we'll leave it to another time the content what jesus was contained with was grace and truth right so when the bible says we live by jesus we live by him in him we live in him we move in him we have a being he's talking about grace that the very substance that he contained in satisfying the claims of divine justice he emptied himself of that substance making grace available the source of grace is jesus the channel through which you receive grace is the holy spirit are you here the source of grace is what is what and that's why the bible says that we need to come boldly before the throne of grace we'll go into that subsequently when we talk about the administration of grace because it is powered it is sourced at a true exactly so if you have seen the grace of god walk in your life before you have become indebted to jesus because you are squandering the substance of his essence you together so if i'm walking in grace is the product of that with jesus made available in his death that is the product i'm living by now that means i i cannot live a life that is contrary to the one that laid his own life down for me to enjoy the privileges that i am enjoying right now in the kingdom of god that's the background of the grace of god and if we have that background then we will understand the position that paul trying to communicate to us in the book of romans chapter six and what does he say in romans chapter six he says shall we what shall we say then shall we continue in sin that grace may abound you know why i like paul this is the abuse of grace it's continuing in an error so that the potential of grace will cover it is deliberately participating in something that will be offensive to jesus and we are doing it intentionally with the hope that the grace of god will abandon and i need to tell you the basis of this scripture if you are still with me say amen some of the things that grace made available one of them is redemption another thing that grace made available is forgiveness of sin forgiveness of sin are you with me another thing that grace makes available is deliverance from the authority and the influence of the kingdom of darkness right now listen so because one of the things that available to us on the account of the availability of grace is forgiveness of sin this possibility exists for me to want to sin so that i can take advantage of forgiveness that is available because of grace god will not withdraw his forgiveness tomorrow he won't withdraw it next tomorrow so somebody can say okay forgiveness forgiveness of sin is still available tomorrow is available next tomorrow and this is the new context of things so what stops me from doing a little scene here doing something there because i know that god on the strength of the sacrifice of jesus god cannot decide to withdraw that grace so forgiveness is still a facility that i can access so paul this is the portrait of the abuse of what of grace and in this lecture today if it pleases the lord i will show you the consequence of that kind of thinking there is a preacher that i believe is demonized i actually believe is demonized he became demonized long time ago and the congregation that sits under him has been bewitched because paul made it emphatically clear that it was possible for an entire congregation to be bewitched and that's why he asked the galatian church who bewitched you because you are under his fear so the entire congregation that that man speaks to is bewitched and i know he's demonized his there's no doubt about that if i friend of the scriptures you will know streams that are from heaven so he is busy saying that you cannot see any way nobody goes to hell because of sin and meanwhile i need to bring his argument in fairness to him i need to bring his argument out what is his argument you know that scripture that says for this purpose the son of man was made manifest that he might destroy the works of the devil if you read it in context you will find that the works of the devil spoken of there is sin so the reason why jesus was made manifest was to deal with sin so the argument is this if jesus the reason for which he came is to deal with sin and sin has been dealt with so what makes you think that it is on the account of sin that the justice system of heaven can sentence you you understand that that's the logic before you form a logic like like for you to say one plus one equal to sometimes it's not so in the bible one plus one equals what the bible says there's a possibility for you to do a permutation and say stuff like forgive me forgive me and say stuff like god is spirit so we what are we spirit no god is spirit find out what you are when you go to the book of second tests thessalonians go to the book of first thessalonians you will find out because the the subject or the emphasis of first and second thessalonians is a sanctified life what it means for you to walk in a sanctified room that's the emphasis of first and second testament and in first thessalonians paul now says to us that god has an intention to sanctify us wholly does if english means anything what what is holy completely then he now mentions what he means by holy spirit soul and body so he shows us the meaning of holy what does it mean spirit soul and body revealing to you that you are spirit soul and body you are not spirit are you there so don't do permutations with the bible don't say okay because this is like this then that is like that you are wrong find out what the den means in the bible because it's not according to your permutation so the man said jesus came to pay for sin so sin can no longer be a problem and just in case you are caught up in sin sin cannot cost you your eternal destiny because jesus has paid for it they are views of grace now so what that preacher is preaching is that he's creating a platform for people live to live perpetually in the abuse of grace and that's the reason why we'll need to open a few scriptures and show you what happens when a man willfully sins expecting that the grace of god should abound what what are the consequences of that line of action you know i told you that after a diligent search of the bible from matter to revelation i found 80 times when the bible suggests that you can lose your salvation in the new testament 8-0 that's a lot you need to be blind not to have sinned oh do you still remember what paul said that i beat my body i put it under subjection lest when i preached to others i myself may not become what i found 80 scriptures like that eighty eight zero are you there oh you are not there anymore that's why i don't i you see there are things i can't teach you because you just frown i say but this is not me i'm not the one responsible all right let's do some bible study go with me to the book of hebrews shall we continue with sin that grace may happen no no no no first go to romans after six verse two first let's get paul's answer for this matter what was his answer god forbid all right so he gives us the answer and this answer was supposed to be enough answer to that preacher the reason why the preacher cannot see that the next verse already gives us the position of the accurate christian pilgrim is because he is demonized now come with me quickly let me show you a few things he said how shall we that are dead to sin leave any longer there in this is the package before we go to hebrews let me explain this can i borrow your jotter all right so this is a jotter okay and i put a pen in it and i travel with this jotter to zambia where would this pen be so what god did was that by an act of god's authority he included you you that believed in jesus included you in christ hey with me according to the bible the only past that you have is that you were in christ on the cross that's the past you have so if he included you in christ whatever happened to christ happened to you so if christ died what happened to you christ was buried what happened to you christ resurrected what happened to you christ ascended what happened to you and christ is seated at the right hand of god where are you that's number one the bible says he that is dead is free from sin and your reality in christ is that you are dead so seeing by reason of your debt should no longer have dominion in the book of romans chapter 6 he tells us the secret of living above sin it is reckoning yourself to be dead to sin the word reckon is the same word for account they let it be registered in your mind that you are dead to sin the reality of your debt which is in christ jesus will become a force and effective when you reckon yourself dead let me give you an example a certain sister in in this place young sister she lost her husband and when she lost her husband it was quite a challenge because she could not be comforted i used to feel that i was skillful in bringing comfort to people but i failed in a case because she could not be comforted a few weeks later she now shows up and tells me that she saw her husband how did you see him that he came in a dream and told her you know that this relationship with us is for his forever and she believed it so when she came for counseling i said you know what i say appearing to you you have not reckoned him dead so he's still powerful the day you reckon him dead he will not you understand that now if you reckon yourself dead to sin it will be clear to you that you are unseen and not in the same realm just like that woman and her husband they are not in the same room so sin is making advances and and and advertising some products to you but if you know that you are dead on to sin you are not in the same room it's not real those products that it is seen is advertising it's not real for you to consider it your victory over sin is tied to your reckoning and that's why the bible says how shall we that are dead to sin leave any longer therein the answer to this question is you can live under sick if you have not reconned yourself dead let me stop there are you with me and answer the question hebrews chapter
