foreign wow it's time to go it's time to go good morning and welcome to Coffee walk thank you we're gonna have some Holy Grail Blend Coffee from Blue Island coffee which by the way is the number one selling brand of Blue Island coffee right now and coming soon to you they'll be a Kroger and an HEB so way to go Kelsey Collins and Chris Hopkins for that and Zach we're getting it out there today we're going to do with the most requested thing we get all the time our updates on vehicles we bought in the past and want to see what happened with them or what stages they're in so we're going to look at seven different ones today we're going to start out with two of our outstanding square body trucks now if you remember we bought out a private collection in Pennsylvania they've been sitting for a very long time so we've got them running and driving and they cleaned up exceptionally well so grab your cup of Joe and let's go so the 1985 GMC if you remember what was really special about this truck this is four speed now the interior and all these trucks are absolutely exceptional because when he picked them up at the dealership knew this guy was crazy particular put seat covers on them steering wheel cover covers on the knobs I'm not making this up cover around the rear view mirror and covered all the pedals so when you see this interior in this truck it is absolutely amazing it is close to as news you're ever going to find now this particular truck was sentenced since 1994. it's a 305 obviously black four-wheel drive short bed with black interior new gas tanks new sending units all the fluid has been changed rebuilt the carburetor it runs and dries outstanding the one I'm most excited about is how well these cleaned up the paint and body on them are amazing this truck right here I don't think it's ever had anything hauled in the bed it had a tonneau cover and it had a bed mat inside of it which we took off of it we probably took over 25 aftermarket accessory items off of this truck so if you look at the old pictures to now is an amazing transformation and we put new BFG tires which I think just look absolutely fantastic sets the truck off now look at the engine bay this is a 22 000 mile truck and it just looks absolutely amazing now these trucks being from Pennsylvania they were not driven in the winter and people say that but these definitely were not and these were in a climate controlled storage now a lot of times you buy a car from that area if it's ever been installed at all the chassis do not look good I'm going to lift this up I don't think you're going to be absolutely shocked and amazed at how nice this chassis is check this out it truly is amazing let's just start right here look at the bottom of the bag absolutely no rust on it at all if there's just minor minor flash rows in a few areas look at the bottom of this cab floor absolutely amazing now the Cadillac converter skin does have some some rust on it if you know somebody out there that's got an OE NOS catalytic converter for an 85 let me know send your information to social cbg.com it's one of the only thing that this truck needs to be just truly exceptional front just absolutely amazing chassis on this truck it's beautiful now if you want to see the exterior photos on this there'll be a link on here to our website Zach can do a really killer photo shoot on this truck next 1987 which as you know is the final year of the square body in the truck form now carried on later in the Jimmy and the Blazer and Suburban this is the last year of the truck the only year the 350 fuel injected motor these trucks were incredibly difficult to get even back in 1987. now the black truck we just looked at is 22 000 miles this truck's got 34 000 miles on it again what I'm very excited about the interior of this one was treated the same as that truck everything was covered so the interior looks as new engine bay cleaned up really nice again 350 fuel injected four-wheel drive we replaced the gas tanks the sending unit both sitting units uh fuel injectors all the fluids charge the AC runs and drives fantastic but a new set of bfgs on it and we also removed probably at least 25 Aftermarket accessories from this truck and this one has been sitting since 2006 was the last time it was driven just exceptional but I'll give you a minute I want to put this one up in there I want you to see the chassis of this truck as well it's really nice okay again I'm really excited about how the chassis turned out in these trucks now we did replace the muffler and the rear tailpipe because they were not correct um they are now so we went from the catalytic converter back and many thanks to RPM for doing that Rich's performance muffler he does a fantastic job on our exhaust systems but again look at the bed in the bottom of this truck in the chassis absolutely incredible to find some words like this is really really difficult let's go all the way up there and check it out it's really really exceptional and it's nothing like the 350 fuel injected truck so there you have it exceptional Interiors exceptional engine Bays exceptional Paint and Body on both of these trucks sexually well maintained now let's go see how the green 67 GT500 is doing that came out in Pennsylvania a lot of the people like your uh the Corvette at the show which show I saw some pictures of it on the Firewheel oh yeah uh believe it or not everybody that I've ever said anything about getting it painted one day says oh no even though I just like it is I agree so you like it so far but you know you never know what the billboard people are going to say I like it there is one thing though did you ever research the motor in that car no I have no idea what it is well I assumed it was a 350. that's what I assumed too okay well I don't know if you noticed or not but that thing had an old archaic antique alarm system on it okay which was one of the first things I pulled out of it because there was a big old water spaghetti under the dash and whatnot so it was stuffed up under the driver's side fender so I'm leaning over taking the thing off and I happened to look up and there's a breather on the back of the block I said well this isn't a great thing it could be a 3.4 now John's Fincher helped me rewire the car okay so I mentioned it to him he's a limited accessor number so he looks at the casting numbers because I don't recognize that but I'll look it up so he comes back the next day and says that's a 66 only 327 block so I called a guy I know that worked for Chevrolet for years and years and told him that on the number pass there's no real number there that there is an R Street folder okay that's how you can play a warranty replacement well that's a win well it's the next best thing absolutely so this is Daniel gay v-pin striper we're going to show we're driving update some cars today so if it's okay with you we're going to show the Niwot Colorado Corvette sure which he now owns you're absolutely not going to believe what this car looks like it is stud so it's not here it says house but we've got a lot of photographs we're going to bleed it in I'm really interested to see what you guys think about it now onto the show thanks Daniel okay this car turned out fantastic Alex knocked this one out of the park so when we picked it up it did run and drive he fully serviced it tuned it it runs and drives fantastic but the major thing was the interior was completely out of this car and I mean blown apart and a lot of the trim was off the car so again Alex did a great job on this car we just so happen to have a set of NOS yes New Old Stock in the box door panels boom they're right here that came with the red 67 GT500 that we got a long year then we put a new headliner in it put new carpet in it the seats were already recovered new floor mats and then a couple of dishes we did in this car that were amazing we had in the box and NOS 1967 AMA track which is now in the car and here's something that you rarely ever see this had an innos in the box and I have the install paperwork showing the Ford part number you peel this you peel this off it's too old now and you glue it to the bottom of where the rally gauges are that's your eight track holder this is a factory NOS Ford part crazy rare but if you want me to leave the tier especially in the back that is a lot of work to assemble all this stuff and Alex just did an absolutely amazing job beautiful car steering wheel restored looks beautiful under the hood accident nice detail on it so we've got one back on the street 67 GT500 ready to go he's already driven this car over 50 miles test miles are done it'll be on the market soon I don't know where we're going to sell it where we're going to offer it but it is done and I love this lime gold color back in the day let's say 70s and 80s a lot of these line gold cars were color changed which we're going to see one today that was because some people didn't like the color I personally love it now we're going to go down and for three more updates that you're just absolutely not going to believe in one of the cars we've been working on for almost two years let's go so every now and then Alex and Kelsey and Zach will throw something in there that I don't know about that's funny well evidently while I was out of town last week on vacation Alex exact shot a segment on this car so it's gonna be Alex's update so stay tuned to the very end I think it's going to be interesting and funny how's it going guys cool stuff going on in here so this is the actual numbers patch motor we picked up in Houston yep in last week's video how cool is that Josh this motor is now correct carburetors to pan bjbk carburetors the actual engine that was born in this car all the date codes lined up checked all that stuff yeah that looks fantastic Alex like a piece of jewelry now we've got an extra 420 inch motor yep at extra 427 Motors and extra k-code Motors so here is the red 67 GT500 we've got a Long View uh if you remember this whole front of this thing was red oxide What it Alex yeah so you just painted the black got suspension in it put the motor together so you're gonna put the drivetrain up before you do the rest of the suspension stuff most ly just get out of the way so all this stuff appeared to be super organized because the guy had in boxes well it turns out that it has been kind of a chore for these guys to find the parts for this and for the blue Fastback yeah and y'all are still find the parts every day all right Christmas all right so I think we've had this car for two years yeah right now so this is Josh's best friend he's done the complete chassis all the suspension everything mechanically you possibly do transmission split in half completely rebuilt motor all the way down to Bare case right so this is a car we picked up we knew it wasn't numbers match because it didn't have a number on the case turns out to two seven so it's just the fastest Porsche you've driven of all of our Porsches thus far yeah okay now I have not heard this run in person and I'm excited to hear look at this it's like a piece of jewelry you can kill that on this Josh and he even went so far to get the AC working which any of y'all have ever restored of 911 and to get the AC working one of these is a nightmare you said it I didn't yeah a lot of work inexpensive yes we did go a little bit later style radio compressor but let's hear it I have not heard this in person here we go wow how's that foreign was insanely difficult to find this color in Brown this car is a brown interior car which is also very rare Brown headliner Brown door panels and it is a factory Recaro sport seat car which if you don't mind will you grab all those seats yeah well actually let's we'll show you one of those seats in a minute they're very very special we'll be out test driving this car soon you've actually put miles on this all right so that was cut along I absolutely the more I see this car the more I like yeah this has been a fun part of you here so kind of go over what this guy did on this car because a lot of stuff I didn't know when I bought it yeah it's a 66 Fastback it's a pro touring suspension 49 inch with a spool um 389 to one yeah 391 to one that's great that's the math that I've done on it okay Curry axles ssbc disc brakes front and rear uh previous owner went all the way through the suspension um just a bang-up job on it front rear sway bars okay code 289 motor four-speed top loader yeah and this is actually is an unstamped k-code motor that's state code correct for the car but we've got the original block with the original numbers on it as well and what this guy did on that Shelby and this car is he was running them he ran his cars hard I don't have the paperwork back from scca on this but this car came with a tremendous amount of stuff showing that it had been an scca race forever yes I think he still has the placard on the front of the grill yeah I mean there's some plaques on the glove box door that we'll show too but this is a real Keiko car something else is kind of neat here and I Alex and I have had to sit around forever never really figured out what we're going to use it it's a fuzzy Hurst shift knob yeah we finally found a car yeah finally so the tier is nice is Raleigh pack and you got this running right yep so if you remember we picked this up the Long View the motor was out there was a long block on the stand and the problem was is the accessory pieces and parts were just scattered everywhere yeah you just started on it and didn't finish it so but I mean normally it's a couple days to do it to any guys you know we were a couple of weeks into it because we had to sit through all these parts so many times it looks fantastic and that is that is the correct date coated 4100 carburetor too right 4140 look at the tag right there the carburetor itself is worth a lot of money now we kind of took some artistic ways with this because it is a basically kind of a restaurant car anyway for the power turning suspension four-wheel disc brakes it's cool on the back and all that so we went with a cobra intake Cobra valve covers which I like uh Josh did some blue accessories which I think is neat we put headers on it because basically it is it's got to be like an scca road race car still but again it's real k-code the numbers are on the inner fenders a really neat car and we'll show you the original block here a second let's hear it run all right this is gonna be fun to drive this one's gonna be fun so let's uh I like everybody see the blocks and it's exciting to see if k-code blocker actually which one is for that car Son of God I think it was the one that didn't have your name on the Caps I think it's this one here I think it's this one yeah okay the numbers are on when you're looking at one of these in the cars on the passenger side of the block towards the front so that's right so two 12048 is that what that car is over there you can see the numbers right there clear as day two one two zero four eight okay and then this motor right here is for the silver K code it is the numbers matching block that we got out of uh that large Mustang collection what where were we North Carolina North South Carolina somewhere the Carolinas so there you have it running running green GT500 which you'll see at the end of it running and driving um last but not least I want you to see the seats that go in this car because they are absolutely a work of art really really so this is all the Porsche COA it has got a pair of factory Recaro sport seats with this brown houndstooth insert absolutely unbelievable and yes these were done by Jody over DTS just does incredible work every time just this pair of seats are insanely valuable is so cool this car actually came with them now we got a bonus for you if we can get Alex to show us so Alex and Josh had been building a 71 Challenger from the ground up so Josh still don't pay Bodywork and Alex has been doing the uh the rest of the suspension motor transmission you want to show it yeah it's not done but it's cool all right let's go check it out look at that you like it I love it that is a ton of work now it's been wet saying it hasn't been buffed yet but it'll be gloss clear not matte clear or matte White I will go through it tell us everything you did a motor trans suspension brakes man it's been wow it is a lot it's got a crate 6-4 with a Tremec T56 trans just got a built Mopar eight and three quarter it's got Wilwood brakes all the way around six pistons in the front four in the rear got a big radiator so you knew this was gonna be difficult going into it but it is difficult in anybody in it very difficult so without exaggerating at all how many pre let's just say 65 to 70 Mustangs can you build in the time it takes to build this car I could probably do six rotisserie Mustangs I was gonna say three so let's just say four yeah these e-body cars are really really tough but you you've done a great job yeah it's awesome so we are in approaching October correct yep and the goals have this car done by the end of the year end of the year hopefully going to Scottsdale in January did you hear that Josh what's up it's got to be done by the end of the year Alex just said it my part would be done by the end of the week okay so there you have it there's your updates that's the number one most requested thing that we get so uh there you go Kels she's been telling me she needed one and I'm excited to come see all this stuff because I don't see it all the time uh we're on our secret location which will never be revealed so Alex and Josh get the tournaments all day and not get bothered even though Alex is at the CBG quite a bit as well but as always please like tag share or follow and most of all subscribe to our YouTube channel it's easy to do and stay tuned for a minute because Alex has got an update coming up I do that he and Zach went together themselves so let me know what you think about it we'll see you next week update time on our 67 GT500 Mustang that we got in episode 207 I believe from Tommy defranzo when we got it it did run and drive barely it only had two gears that was because of the shifter what I did is I just drained the fuel did a quick tune up on it put our AB Gas makes it run a whole lot better just change all the fluids add an electric fan it did want to get hot but we did a new booster new master cylinder stops great now when we got it didn't have any interior well except for a seat as you can see we put it all back together just like stock brand new seat belts got a am 8 track radio in it the correct GT500 is doing well as you guys saw in the episode drives great I believe we're taking this to Barrett-Jackson and Houston in about a month but stay tuned for that what is this it's Camaro all right what do we have got a Mustang I just can't do it update time on our update time on our 67 GT500 I almost said Camaro no I saw let your wish and Dennis was here yeah we'd be done
